A Closer Look @ The Man In Christ – Part 8

… A BRIEF APPRAISAL ON THE RICHES OF CHRIST, AND OF MAN

Dearly Beloved,

From the days of Solomon till of late, creation has been bored with conversations that can’t gracefully witness against vanity, but once again, creation can’t ignore something new before its very eyes – the rising and raising of new creation souls! Creation is seeing a gradual increase in the unique count of believers that have made a rare decision to be contented with the riches of Christ – like men can never be via the riches of Solomon!

Creation is beholding men being cultured with the separated life that Adam failed to partake of, men that are increasingly jealous of this life that they have agreed with the Lord that it is their true life and they must inherit it in the days of their flesh (Col. 3:3/Jn. 12:25/Rom. 4:1/Gal. 2:20e). Creation is seeing men daring daily to live by commandments like Jesus and His apostles did; and one of such commandments is the non-negotiable command to “flee from the eagerness to get rich”, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness (1 Tim. 6:11)

  •  Eccl. 5:10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
  • 2Cor. 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor (i.e. became like men without glory), that ye through his poverty (i.e. through fellowship with what he received during his faith and love walk) might be rich (i.e. with honor and glory)

Heaven and earth no doubt don’t share the same definition or interpretation of riches and of poverty. Heaven’s account of poverty points to the estate of Adam’s soul immediately after he was stripped of glory – though he would still live for some 930 years afterwards. The earth’s account points to all sorts that is governed by the god of this world. So the dictionary of truth simply says, “a poor man is someone that is not on course to fellowship with what Jesus fellowshipped with while He grew in wisdom and stature; one whose goal is not to become a king over sin”. ANYONE THAT IS A STRANGER TO THE LEARNING AND INHERITING OF GOD’S DOMINION REMAINS IN A WRETCHED STATE (ROM. 3:23)

WHAT MAKES A COMPANY OF BELIEVERS BEAR THE IDENTITY OF A POTENTIAL OVERCOMER (OF SIN AND DEATH) IS THAT THEY HAVE THE SAME DEFINITION WITH CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING TRUE RICHES, AND AS SUCH, ARE IN THE PROCESS OF BEING RECONCILED (MADE) WITH THE RICHES OF GOD – DOMICILED IN CHRIST JESUS. THE ISSUE OF DEFINITIONS AND REFERENCE IS A MATTER OF LIFE OR DEATH, AND AS LONG AS OUR DEFINITIONS DOES NOT HAVE ITS SOURCE FROM THE TRUE LIGHT, THE DOMINION OF SIN IS AT WORK.

So if by the eternal definitions of riches Jesus wasn’t rich at birth, or even at the age of 12, then we are at the mercy of knowing what and how he was actually made rich after the age of 12, i.e. knowing what he received that lead to him being raised from a state of poverty unto the very riches he originally had with God in the beginning (Jn. 1:1). 2Pet. 1:17 among others answer this by saying the riches of Jesus was ratified when He received glory and honor – in various dosages! At the age of 12 he had a foundation for this, but from then till when he was 30 and from 30 to 33, God raised the pillars for this while he fulfilled the demands of obeying faith and love. So Jesus came into God’s stature and fullness, and commended God to ultimately witness that he had become everything he was – God (Heb. 1:8/5:4).

  • 2Pet. 1:17 For he received (i.e. after learning obedience through suffering) from God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory (i.e. because he had been fully reconciled with that excellent glory of the Father), This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
  • Rom. 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing (i.e. paying the more earnest heed to commandments concerning holding the mystery of faith – Heb. 2:1/1Tim. 3:9) seek for glory and honor and immortality, ETERNAL LIFE:

Thank God for all the inventions of technology today, but none of such is new under the sun (Eccl. 1:9); none can address the depraved state of man. The best of it is inferior to the technology that heaven employed while making Jesus rich; the technology of the WORLD-TO-COME, wherein THINGS-TO-COME are spoken (Heb. 2:5b/Jn. 16:13h/Heb. 9:11)? When God speaks, his technology is at work, and when men raised by God (like we saw in Jesus and his Apostles) speak, that same technology is at work and nothing but Christ would be reproduced in men!

I believe every believer turned child of the kingdom must have kept faith with the speaking engagements of the son (Heb. 1:1-2), for such a one to grow from BEING AN ADULT OF THE PRESENT into BEING A CHILD OF THE KINGDOM”. Our Lord Jesus was raised to become a child, a son (i.e. a meeker child) and a father (the meekest child) – according to divine nature. God spoke until Jesus of Nazareth was raised to bear the glory/anointing of God the Father – i.e. until Jesus of Nazareth became Jesus The Christ, and those who would attain such order of inheritance would be raised likewise to wear/bear that same order of glory (Rev. 21:10-11)

If this is true, then there is something about the profession of hearing the Faith of the New Testament (Rom. 10:17/Tit. 1:1/Heb. 3:1) that transports invincible substances (things of God – Heb. 11:1/1Cor. 2:10-11) into the soul, and thereby leads to seeing and becoming whom we are hearing and seeing – i.e. become Christ! This is the Lord’s provision to separate us from everything we share in common with the present old creation – i.e. spiritual poverty/deficiency in divine nature (Jn. 3:31/Rev. 14:3-5).

By fulfilling obedience to God’s Faith (i.e. through suffering/denying the present life/esteeming the unseen life), Jesus fortified his the soul for a rare eternal walk on earth and came into the honor and glory of the Father? So nothing but things to come (Jn. 16:13/Heb. 9:11); nothing but the matters of truth and the revelations of righteousness (Rom. 1:16-17/2Pet. 3:13-14) can bring us into true riches. Nothing but the eternal promise of the life in God (1Tim. 4:8/2Tim. 1:10), which comes when Christ is being consistently unveiled, can take us to God or make us truly rich.

  • Hos. 2:8-9 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

The latter house is a spiritually built temple not made with hands (Gen. 1:31/Isa. 66:2a), but with the blessings of God’s face wherein proceeds the light of the Lord (i.e. of the seven Spirits of the Lord) and the light of God (i.e. of his Glory). Hereby would men who were previously carnal become more scarce than gold (Isa. 13:12/Mal. 3:3/1Pet. 1:7/Rev. 3:18) i.e. become an abode for the Son and the Father respectively (Isa. 66:1-2/Jn. 14:21/23).

This is how God has ordained that the true church would be made, raised and empowered to journey to a place of preciousness where she can comfort creation from her groaning (Isa. 32:2/Rom. 8:21-22). Does that describe you and me? …now or in the years ahead? Selah.

Blessings!
