Anamnesis 2025 Day 1 Evening Session – Rev. Kayode Oyegoke

Kingdom of God

                                                      Transcript Summary

1. Our major thrust in this Anamnesis is to understand the subject of “His servant and His two prophets” in the book of Revelation. This theme is a curious one and is an ordinance of everlasting life.

2. The servants of God refer to people who serve for the sake of life. There is no life that is started without service. The first call to life is service. When God is calling one into everlasting or Eternal Life, one must first be found as a servant. A lot of Christians do not want to be identified as a servant; they want to rather be called sons because their idea about servants are those who run errands for the Kingdom. But in essence, a servant is not someone who runs errands for God; he is someone who receives a parchment for obedience, the kind that is very critical concerning life.

3. Service is designed for creatures to appreciate in their person. There can be no upgrade of a person without one’s soul doing service. Every person is a temple of service. It is not possible to remain the same after doing service. Service may either appreciate or depreciate a person (Rom. 6:16 ).

4. God is a kind of person who wants to duplicate Himself in man. What makes a person is the ability to respond to the wisdom and understanding of the calling of God. Men have the privilege of hearing and can thereby carry out a duty of understanding of God. God is full of understanding and He cannot be approached without us involving understanding (Ps. 49:20).

5. The Church ought to respond to light; light is understanding. The devil darkened our understanding in order to separate us from the life in God (Eph. 4:18). God wants the Church to graduate from her current level and go into a world where she can participate in the arena of understanding, the land of the living. The world of understanding is right above the heads of many, but they cannot get into it. You should not fall below understanding (Prov. 21:16).

6. The reason for the Kingdom is not for influence but to save our souls. There was another kingdom already on earth before the coming of God’s kingdom. Death is a crowned king in that kingdom, and sin is a spirit in the kingdom of the devil. The purpose of the Kingdom is to take men from the corrupt dominion into the Kingdom of the incorruptible.

7. Satan created needs for man. What man was originally in need of was life. God made his quest for the natural minimal so that he would always feel light and focus on the tree of life. Immediately man ate the fruit, their eyes opened (Gen. 3:6-7) and Satan threw man into solving needs. The ‘needs’ ministry started with Adam.

8. Need for things is what the devil created. He created it to give God trouble. Man was naked but covered with glory and so he did not realize that he needed clothes. It was sin that brought about the need for those things. Man did not even know he needed food. God had to tell him what he should eat. This is why Jesus said, “Is the body not more than raiment and life more than meat (Matt. 6:25).

9. Every kingdom and every dominion has a will. It is those who fulfill the demands of the will of God that shall have entrance into the Kingdom, whether the kingdom of God or Satan’s kingdom. In the kingdom of God, it is the will of God against our will. Satan also needs souls to do his will to be granted entrance into his kingdom; having a dead spirit is not enough. He wants men who are committed to his will.

10. As we gain entrance more into the kingdom of God, we have to wrestle with evil spirits in all stratas. It is not every Christian that can fight evil spirits, one can cast out demons but that is not wrestling. We are wrestling with fallen angels. What Jacob did was wrestling; he wrestled with an angel. Jacob wrestled with the angel in order to change his name (Gen. 32:24,28). There are certain things believers cannot change unless they wrestle. As we wrestle and overcome spirits, we are gaining spoils and more so, having promotions in the spirit. In our journey, we will wrestle with bad angels, but rest assured, it is for our own good.

11. Spiritual wickedness are the messengers of Satan. If you are wrestling against spiritual wickedness of the first level, those spirits do not give up, they are dragons. They know how to drag, and God wants us to drag, thereby gaining might and strength beyond the natural. To exchange strength, we need to fight spirits. Men quit quickly but spirits do not quit; they do not stop and we must also not stop. We must keep wrestling till the spirits quit. Spirits would be afraid of you because your soul has become a spirit. We must not give up concerning life. Wrestle until you have life because God trains our hands to war, and our fingers to fight (Psalms 144:1). Wrestling alters our physical bodies, our bodies gain more power than other bodies.

12. On a true overcomer are marks (Gal 6:17). Marks must be on his body (Rev 12:11). We have a charge from God to not just overcome the evil spirits in all stratas but to overcome Lucifer himself, and until then, we are not done. Jesus says you must overcome him.  The Father put this exercise there for the purpose of training. No one would sit on the throne of God without being mature. We must show God that we have yielded to the training that makes us servants (Rev 1:1).

13. The book of Revelation demands a spirit of understanding that we all grow into to both read and to hear, because it is not everybody that has an ear. They grow the ear and it is a prophetic hearing. The book is a prophetic saying and so it is a secret. God reveals it to His servant the prophet. If it is a prophetic thing, it is only prophets that can understand this revelation. There is a way God talks to prophets, it is not the same way He talks to everybody. To participate in the reading and hearing of the book, then we must be obedient to the prophetic lifestyle.

14. In God’s economy, there is a servant and there are two cadres of prophets. Servants serve, prophets worship. There is a difference between serving God and to worship God. Serving God is actually learning to love God or loving God.

15. It takes prophets to worship God. Worship is not what you see, it is not something that is open to the carnal eye. Worship is a very deep reaction rooted in deep revelation of submission. If you are not prophetic, you cannot worship God. It would take the prophetic stream to pour worship in God. It is only a prophet that God can show how to worship God. God cannot bring anyone that has not served into worship. A lover of God is he who serves and worships God (Matt 6:24).

16. The image of God is the ark of God; the living testimony is the life of the ark. The ark is a static box, but something gives it life. It is not an ark of itself, it is an ark of testimony. So, testimony is the life of the ark. If you say you have the image and you do not go on to likeness, you have actually rejected the life of the image. What God was teaching Israel is to be an ark. He wanted them to carry His image, if peradventure, in a measure. But they refused it because they did not understand it.

17. The word of God makes you a servant or a disciple, but the testimonies of God make you a brother. A disciple is qualified for the blood. The company of prophets refers to those of the same bloodline. Brethren is a blood thing. When you are a brother, it has to do with the kindred life that binds us; prophets are kindred. When you are a servant, you are trusted; but when you are prophet, you have life, and God trusts you more. When God says I would put my trust in you, He is putting His life in you (Heb 2:13).

18. God cannot entrust His life to just a servant, He wants us to be His family, of the same kind, a kin. Prophets are family people, prophets are brothers. Brethren is a status of the prophetic, beings who are prophets. We must attain the prophetic nature to be part of His family. When you have loved God, you have proven to Him that you do not hate Him. Instead of visiting your iniquity, He would perform the mercies meant for thousands (Exo 20:5).

19. Hate is the sin that takes people to the lake of fire. Not wanting God is a great death. The lake of fire is a place prepared for the haters of God to practice their hate. God will not live with anyone eternally who does not love Him. We ought to be careful with our carnal education and the learning of nature, because it has been anointed by Satan to turn men against God, if we are not guided. Satan can enslave one by it and through it, slay the soul. We ought to go into learning by guidance and the leading of the Spirit. The brightness of the mind through education can blind the soul.

20. It is possible to have natural knowledge and still love God. To certify a lover is having the image and having life. First love is the word of God; last love is the testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is something God gives to those who love Him (Exo 20:6).

21. The reward of love is mercy. Mercy is an oath. The oath which God swore to Abraham is a mercy, and that mercy is what He would give to thousands. He gives it to lovers of God, those who love Him, not those who He perceives would love Him, but those who have done service and worship.

22. What we call an “oath” is a special mercy. It is the next prophetic level—prophets who God would swear on, meaning they have found mercy. God would not release that mercy except by swearing, so He has to activate the oath to release the mercy. Mercy is not just a kind heart, they are materials in God, blessings that when released cannot be taken back. One must have the testimony to have this mercy. When one has this mercy, one is forever a priest who has been sealed. Without this mercy, one cannot have Eternal Life.

23. We ought to stay in the testimony (the testimony will teach us how to keep ourselves (Jude 1:21). The testimony is a springboard to look for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto Eternal Life. One cannot get to Eternal Life until one receives mercy. The first love which is the word of God and the second love, which is the testimony and the mercy of God, are the prophecies of the book. The things (sayings of the book) are mercy sayings.

24. Mercy is coming from somewhere higher than the works. The work begins from the bottom up, but mercy is not what you work, it comes on, to crown your effort, to cover what you have been doing. Mercy is a reward. Everlasting mercy is a reward and if you do not have it, you cannot cross to eternal mercy because the world of Eternal Life is mercy. Grace can flow, mercy does not flow. Mercy seats, because mercy is a throne and God sits on mercy. Before one can be qualified for the cap, one must be an ark and must have testimony; then they would now put the mercy seat; that is what makes the prophets: those who have the first love (word of God), last love (testimony) and mercy.

25. Mercy is a gift for a company. God is looking for thousands to show mercy to. If the people are not up to thousands, He cannot show mercy. One attitude we must learn as we approach this realm is meekness. The devil had things; he was equipped but he refused to be meek. He could not abide in the truth. He was supposed to remain there like Michael, and Gabriel, but he could not endure the truth. May we never be proud because of the things God is giving to us.

26. Having testimony is not enough, we need prophecy; we need the book, we need mercy. The book is the mercy; we need the archive of mercy. We need the book of prophecy; we need the mercy. These things are not just sermons, these things must come out. Joy would be fulfilled when all of us are caught up, and we are not just a few people. Amen.

           Blessings!
