Anamnesis 2025 Day 2 Evening Session – Rev. Ken Igbinedion
Transcript Summary
1. The Word of Righteousness is not common because it is not everyone that God can commit the work of salvation to. If God talks, He talks at the height of ‘God’ while humans talk at the level of ‘humans’. Therefore, if a human will understand God, he/she must become a god.
2. A man who is without the Spirit of God cannot interpret what the Spirit has coded. Therefore, lack of understanding of this word should not make us think it is false. God puts men who are graced by the Spirit of God around us to communicate the word to us.
3. God has given different graces and giftings in the body of Christ. Ephesians 6 tells us to put on the armour of God, but there is no armour for our backs. Therefore, we need the brethren to stand and watch our backs, lest we join the enemy to destroy what God is building.
4. You cannot fault knowledge except you have a superior knowledge involved. The wisdom of God is higher than man. As such, you can’t judge or question Him.
5. If God has said to come and learn of Him, then understanding is very key. There are things about God that we do not know, and our salvation is dependent on the revelation of his natures, which we are not aware of.
6. (John 14:6). Jesus is the authentic way by which any man can reach God. He is the physical manifestation of the God who is a spirit. With Jesus, God who is invisible has become visible (Col. 2:9).
7. God warned Isarel not to create any image to represent Him, because no other image could capture who God is. Images are custodians of spirits. We have all captured different images at different times. Image is a software in the soul, and not the outward look.
8. Most of the redemption story that we know is that Jesus died, rose and ascended back to heaven. But the word of righteousness shows us what is happening at the right hand side of God, which is behind the veil. We need a higher level of faith to assimilate, relate, connect with it, and to accept the operations coming from there.
9. We will need faith to access what is being said and to believe it, for blessed are those who have not seen but yet believe. That is what God is expecting from us. This is because the things God is opening to us are things eyes have not seen.
10. When God speaks, He speaks His word. But inside the word of God is a critical aspect known as the testimony of Jesus Christ. It is a potent part of the word, and its effect will be seen when it is given the right conditions. All the 66 books of the Bible have a reference to this testimony, otherwise, they would not be qualified to be a part of the Bible.
11. God’s intention is how to transport life that is locked up in Himself into the new creation. It has always been His idea for man to be like Him, though man has not seen Him before. The reason that those of the ‘Old’ could not see that as a work was because there was nothing to aid their natural sight.
12. (Psalm 103:7). The ways of God are different from the acts of God. The children of Israel knew the acts of God, but Moses knew His ways. A lot of people judge God by His acts, but God is different from His acts.
13. There were two major prophets in the Bible — The Old and the New. The prophet of the Old was Moses, while the prophet of the new is Jesus. What institutes prophets is that they know ways, and are custodians of ways.
14. Worship is not slow songs, neither does it have anything to do with instrumentals; it is a lifestyle. Jesus came to show all the correct way of God, and this way is what we are all gathered to learn.
15. Jesus did not come to authorize Christianity but the way, He is the Way. Those who followed Him before Antioch were called people of the way, before they were called Christians in Antioch (Acts 11:26). These people knew their destination was God.
16. When we changed from the way to what is called Christianity was when we started thinking heaven is the destination, instead of the Father. Jesus said He is the way that leads to the Father (John 14:6), not the way that leads to heaven.
17. God humbled Himself to dwell in heaven. Heaven is His office, where He performs His work, where He waits for us (uncompleted buildings) to become complete. God wants us all to become His house where He can live in, by the Spirit. But Satan is fighting for the building of God not to be complete.
18. Satan uses people to achieve his own goal. Those who killed Jesus were used by Satan. But after the death on the cross, Jesus went down to hell and took the keys of hell and death. As such, He was the first begotten from the dead (Rev. 1:5). Graves were opened, Jesus rose and mortality was swallowed up by light (1 Cor. 15:54).
Round-off by Rev. Kayode Oyegoke
19. Jesus is no longer in the grave but is at the right hand side of the Majesty on High. He took our diseases and pain away, and we need to believe that report.
20. Resurrection is the mother of faith. The resurrection of Jesus Christ gave birth to faith. Resurrection puts us on the pedestal of walking by faith and not by sight. What Satan has attacked in this generation is faith. As such, man could no longer respond to God supernaturally.
21. One of the ways we get faith is from preachers. It is a rare commodity. We may read the Bible but may not get it because faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Rom. 10:17). Even he who ministers the word is also hearing the spirit called faith, and as he hears, he ministers.
22. A minister ministers by power, and they are stationed to bring our blessing to us. If we do not have faith, the heart will not believe. When faith comes, answer has come. But too much doubt has made it difficult for the heart to believe.
23. The resurrection of Jesus cannot be taught and faith will not be born. If Jesus can be raised from the dead, there is no condition that cannot be solved. It took faith for us to be born again. Miracle starts when the seed of faith marries our hearts.
Blessings!
