Transcript Summary
1. There is a change in season in the realm of the spirit. The book of Revelation did not open until it was time for it; it is a book that is meant for a time and season and until that time comes, it would not open. However, the Church has grown and migrated to a level where God can begin to open the book to us. There is a special kind of seal that was used to seal that book and until heaven releases the key, it will not open.
2. (Rev. 1:1). This scripture is speaking about the unveiling of Jesus. The things concealed there are things that God packaged in Jesus that needed to be unveiled. Man is a tripartite being and there is an invisible portion of every man. A man can have several expressions; he can be a husband, father, civil servant, pastor, amongst other things. When each expression is supposed to be manifest, it will be unveiled. There are so many things locked up in Jesus that will be unveiled when it is time for the Church to receive them.
3. In this season that we are, we should not lose sight of service. Our service is our worship. What was given to John to give to other servants are sacred things which John handled with care and transferred to other servants that will carry it in the same way. The revelation, understanding and unveiling of Jesus that we are hearing must be handled carefully so that the coming generation will handle it likewise.
4. (2 Kings 2:1-3). In the story of Elijah and Elisha, God knew the season was going to change and that someone else would take over, but the one who was to take over must be tested. Elisha was too focused and knew something was about to happen, so he was determined to follow it through. Before the mantle could fall, there was a journey and sacrifice that had to be made. In like manner, before the book will be opened to us, there is a journey to be made by us, for these things do not just open up casually.
5. The world may crucify us for journeying, but it is better to continue following God. There is something we should be seeing that would make us continue journeying. The reason the devil comes to touch things concerning us is to distract us and make us take our eyes off the goal. Distractions can come through any means, but do not give in to distraction. There were things Elisha knew that made him focused on the goal, so there are things we also ought to know. If we do not know these things, the enemy will distract us.
6. There are things that are hanging over us and because the devil does not want them to rest upon us, he comes with distractions to make us miss out. However, we must keep serving and worshipping because a day will come when those things hanging over us will rest. For them to rest, we must go through our test; we must be proven to be approved.
7. For God to give us His things, He must find a people in whom He can reside. As such, the tests are preparatory to enable God to reside in us. Thus, we should pray that we will all agree with God; we will thirst and hunger after Him and not be distracted.
8. I see Reverend Helen Oyegoke raising a people beyond this generation. I saw many people running, coming and sitting to be taught. It is like the mantle God gave John the Baptist to prepare the way; that preparation was for Jesus to come, and the preparation is to raise an army that will stand, looking exactly like Jesus—an army that is little and lowly, yet mighty. As Reverend Helen Oyegoke teaches, God will bring these men to the Church. This is the army that will stand and speak to the enemy by the gates, not by their words but by their lifestyles. These set of men will be raised by God through her hands and the words of her mouth.
9. The word of righteousness consists of a lot of things, which include signs and wonders. The word of righteousness is a combination of both the former and the latter rain, but God has to lay the foundation so that when these signs and wonders begin to happen, we will be stabilized (not shaken). As such, we need to go through this training for the word of God to be settled inside us. The ministry of the word is the foundation, and when it is laid, the least of us can kickstart and manifest the lifestyle anywhere.
