Becoming a Minister of the Heavenly Order

Text: Hebrews 1:1-9
Tongues and interpretations
“See the end. Jesus, even the minister of the sanctuary, the High Priest of the Most High God is the minister of the end. He carries the ministrations for the end, even matters of the end, even things concerning the end. For in this ministry, in the ministry of the High Priest is the end, He comes in the end. He brings the Father in the end. They officiate the ministry of the end, even the end. Even the end, even the end, even the matters of the end, even the orchestrations for the end, even the arrangement for the end. For there is an end, there is an end, there is an end. Yea, there is an end. You would connect the end through the beginning. You will connect the end through the beginning. You will connect the end through the beginning, He would take you to the beginning, He will take you to before the beginning and you will connect the end. For the ministration of the High Priest, even the High Priest of good things to come, are things of the end. The end.
Ministers of the end, even ministers of the end are ministers that would partner with the High Priest and see the program of heaven to finish, even to finish, even to finish, even to fruition, even to the fulfillment of the vision that is in the heart of the Father. For the heart of the Father saw the raising of the High Priest to officiate the ministrations of the end. For as you sit, you speak under His hospices and you speak matters that will see to the end, even the end of the vision, even the fulfillment of the heart of the Father.
The High Priest is about the heart of the Father, even the matters that are in the heart of the Father that He wants to see come to pass, that must shortly be done, that must quickly be done, that must be brought to the end, that must be accomplished. That is the ministry of the High Priest, that is the minister of Jesus, even the ministry of Jesus in His sanctuary and of the True Tabernacle. The ministration of the end. The High priest of the end, even the end of the vision of God . The mysteries of God, even to be finished at the ministration of the High Priest, of His ministration. Jesus wants to minister end. See the end. See the end, says the spirit of God”

Hebrews 8:1-2
“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; [2] A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.”
Hebrews 12:22-25
“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, [23] To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, [24] And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. [25] See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven…”
Jesus is the speaker of the New Testament. He is actually the preacher of the ministry called ‘the New Testament ministry’. He is the first minister of the New Testament. Jesus is still a minister. There is no minister who starts as a full New Testament minister, we grow into it. To come into proper New Testament ministry, we ought to hunger for more of God to find that place where one can be positioned in the core of the New Testament ministry. It takes some time to make a New Testament minister. The fullness of the ministry of the New Testament; a full blown minister of the New Testament is seen in Hebrews 8.
Hebrews 8:1
“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens…”
The intention of this convention is to create a new appetite for ministers for ministry. It is clear that Jesus is a minister (Heb. 8:2). He is a minister first of all of the True tabernacle. The word ‘sanctuary’ refers to ‘Holy place’. These are places God hallowed for priestly ministry; the outer Court, Holy place and Most Holy. These places were in heaven from the beginning of creation. When God created heaven and the earth, He first built a temple in heaven for angels. It was shown to Moses to copy the tabernacle.
Hebrews 8:5
“Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.”
This shows that there has been an original before Moses made a copy on earth. God used Moses to help us see what the tabernacle looks like, and to prove that these heavenly places actually exist. We see the altar of brass in the outer Court so there is a Court in heaven where an altar is situated. We see angels go into the tabernacle offering incense in th golden censer, which is the Holy place in heaven (Rev. 8:3). We see the activities in heaven to offer incense on the golden alter. This is proof that this temple exists in heaven, they kept talking about it in the book of Revelation.
This is raw New Testament. There is nothing as New Testament as the book of Revelation. If the book of Revelation captured the heavenly tabernacle, then it was what Moses copied. Moses was shown the pattern in a vision to copy, and he brought it here. The Jews, in warfare, carry this instrument so that they are warring with heavens, not earth. They carry the Ark which is the Most Holy place, the priest blowing the trumpet serves as the Holy place and the armies with the swords are the Courts. That was how they moved around Jericho for seven days, at the seventh time of the seventh day, Jericho fell. The Jews engage with heavenly pattern. However this is not so anymore because there is a New Testament.
Jesus never used the earthly tabernacle because there were priests there officiating, Jesus had to go up. This earthly dimension of the court which is physical cannot carry the ministry of Jesus. Jesus is a priest, a quickening spirit. If Jesus were to sit, He would not use that Ark because that covenant is obsolete. The law has changed as a result of the change of priesthood.
Moses downloaded heavens on earth on that mountain then he started building. He took 9 (Nine) months to build the tabernacle. This is the same time a baby grows in the womb. All these dimensions have three gestational periods, having 3 months each to have the full stature of a man. When God is forming you inside and wants to reveal the Son in your inside, He would take you aside and grow His Son in you. It takes time. To build a church goes beyond having members. If you have a hundred members, grow them. If you can grow them according to the heavenly design, you have done well. What God was saying according to the New Testament is that He is no longer building temples made with hands, rather He wants to build people. That is the New Testament order— to build people.
Hebrews 6:19-20
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; [20] Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.”
Our High Priest entered in for us. If He is our forerunner, He is expecting us to end up there too.
Hebrews 9:11-15
“But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; [12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. [13] For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: [14] How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? [15] And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”
Jesus entered into a tabernacle. He entered into Heavens itself (Heb. 9:24). This is not like that of the Mosaic covenant when Moses brought Israel around the mountain. God began to speak suddenly and they began to hear thunders and a prolonged trumpet voice that were scary to them. It is possible those were the voices of angels. The people of Israel told Moses to go for them. Now Jesus is entered for us, but we should not let Jesus stay for us. Moses told them that the plan was for all of them to come near without fear so that what God wanted to say would be in their hearts (Exo. 20:20). God could not achieve what He wanted to do because the people could not endure it, so God ended up writing on stones. He chose stones; He was pushed to fall on stones. That was the best he could do instead of writing in their hearts.
If God had succeeded in writing those things in their heart, there would have been no need for an ark. Writing on stones made the ministry of the writing limited because it was supposed to be in a mobile temple. Israel did not come into what God wanted them to come into. The old covenant remained on stones throughout. It never came into the hearts of a nation.
The Lord had to put His presence in an ark. He expected them to get to the land of promise through His angel and the direction that the ark paved. The ark only takes a straight road and not a corner road. When the priests carrying the ark were introduced and the ark was being borne, stones were being moved and mountains skipped. Beyond a covenant, the ark became a testimony. The ark was witnessing. It was so contagious that the ark power went through the priests and injected the priests with its presence, such that as their feet touched Jordan, it parted (Josh. 3:13).
That was how it was supposed to be if the law had been written in their hearts. Israel would have been great, all nations would have patterned themselves after Israel. That was God’s intention but Israel failed, Israel sinned, Israel could not fulfil the covenant.
I do not think God wants us to be under the covenant like the Jews. The Jews were forever under the covenant, they were supposed to be in the covenant. We are under grace not the law, and God does not want us to be under grace for too long, He wants grace to be inside of us. Our High Priest is full of grace and truth, so we are supposed to be one with the covenant. I thank God that there is no physical temple in Jerusalem, people would have left Christianity and gone into Judaism. Some things have not happened to us in the New Testament era because we have not really entered into it; we are around it, even far from it. We are still under it and below it. We have to be “it”. God wants us to be “it”.
A full blown minister, a full finished complete minister of the New Testament, like Jesus showed us an example, sits on the throne. What you see seated on the throne is the New Testament ministry, that is the true New Testament ministry. He is not seated to come and rapture us home, no! He has something He wants to do.
Jesus started something and it has not ended. For Jesus, the end is that those under the new covenant are not only under it but find access into the covenant because the covenant is one of the wealth of Israel. It is the commonwealth, it is the provision of God for God’s people. The High Priest went into heaven expecting till His enemies are made His footstool.
Psalms 110:1
“The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”
If this did not happen, there would not be what we call rapture. The church is omitting many things. What you see as rapture is the finishing of the end program. Rapture would come at the last trump. If we have the last trump, it means other ones must have been sounding. What were they doing? There is what is called the last trump (1 Cor. 15:52). The last trumpet is for my flesh. That tells you the last one is not going to do much work because others have sounded. Why did we leave the rest of the trumpets and focus on the last? Someone did that to us, the devil. Why was he able to lock us up in ignorance? When you talk about heavenly things and heavens, Satan too is a minister. He was a minister, an angel.
Hebrews 1:4
“Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”
A more excellent name. Names are not ordinary, names are ministry in heavenly patterns. The ministry of Jesus starts from the throne of God. So the Person seated is a kind of Minister in the heavens, the highest minister in creation. His throne for ministry is not amidst the angels. He had to take the side of God, at the right hand. In Hebrews 1, they compared Him with angels because they are all ministers in heaven. Satan used to be a heavenly being.
Ezekiel 28:12-14
“Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. [13]Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. [14]Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.”
The devil used to look like the rest of the angels. He was in paradise, his coverings were precious stones. He was upon the holy mountain of God. The holy mountain is not on earth, it is in heaven. That is to show you that the devil is a heavenly boy. He likes to be in the heavens, he thrives in any form of heaven. When you bring him to earth, his activities are limited.
Isaiah 14:12-16
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! [13]For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: [14]I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. [15]Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. [16]They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms…”
This is where God is going with Satan and He will do it using the New Testament saints. Jesus will not come until Satan falls; until Satan has been driven out of the celestial. There are three heavens and Satan is among the third heavenly beings. They gave him an assignment in the holy mountain of God; the holy mountain of God is mount Zion, that is where they expect Christians to come to in the spirit. This is not rapture. The Hebrew church was on earth but Paul told them that they had come unto mount Zion. You do not come to mount Zion the moment you get born again, you have to grow into it. If you are on mount Zion, certain activities should be observed. Check the quality of your worship; if it tallies with mount zionic service, then it is okay.
Hebrews 12:22-24
“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, [23]To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, [24]And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
Jesus is here. You can find Jesus on mount Zion. It means the place of covenant is on mount Zion. Jesus becomes the mediator of the new covenant. Mount Zion is actually the sanctuary in heaven. Apart from the physical temple, heavenly places are made after the tabernacle. The first heaven is the court, second heaven is the sanctuary, third heaven is the most holy place. God designed heaven after the classes of holiness.
In the court you find the Levites; there are angelic beings that are levites and you find them in the court. Then you move to the second heaven which is purely a world of priests; the second heaven is priestly and angels there are priests. The third heaven is for high priests. Lucifer was a high priest. God gave him the charge of the sanctuary the way God gave Aaron the charge of the sanctuary. Aaron was a high priest of the most holy place, but he trims the golden candlesticks in the holy place.
In the days of Eli, the light of the sanctuary began to go dim and it affected his eyes. That tells us the eye of a nation is the high priest. We need a high priest, men who God has raised high and given them priestly eyes. The first High Priest is Jesus but He does not want to be the only one; He wants brethren to come into the most holy. We do not go into the most holy to sing. It is a vocation, a priestly life. It is a duty that should be married first in the natural.
Hebrews 2:10
“For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”
God wants men to come to glory. You do not have glory the day you are born again. If at all you had glory, it is not of this type. But this is your destiny, this is where you are supposed to end. You ought to be a being of glory but you cannot be glorified unless you are saved to this point. It is called saving you to the uttermost. It is God’s intention to bring many sons to glory. Human beings naturally will not heed the glory calls.
Jesus entered into His glory after resurrection. That is why Jesus was able to physically appear in the presence of God for us. If Jesus’s body after resurrection was still in the cave of Joseph and His spirit departed, He would not do ministry. That was why He interceded for His soul and body because a priest will need to be complete in order to stand before God.
Jesus would need to have a body kind to go through heavens, not just a body kind, but a body qualified to be in the presence of God to sit at the right hand of the Majesty on high to plead our case. Jesus and the Holy Ghost are Intercessors, the Father is the performer. He wants us to come to where He is.
In the Old Testament, Israel could not fulfil the covenant, but God found a way to put it in stones and in a tabernacle and they called them comers.
Hebrews 10:1-4
“For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. [2] For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. [3] But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. [4] For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.”
The Gentiles were not called to come. They are oblivious of the activities of God towards the Jews. God had vowed to make them perfect. Perfection is a season when the law lifts from the stone and comes to their hearts but that nation did not fulfill it. Although they were under the law, they were supposed to translate to a place where it would be in them.
Hebrews 10:5-8
“Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: [6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. [7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. [8] Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law…”
Jesus finished the will of God from the beginning to the end. The end of the will was the battle at the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus did not want to die. In the will, that is, the volume of the book, it had been prescribed that this Lamb should be killed the way He was killed. Jesus saw the ugly death He was to die, the marriage with Satan, how He was going to be joined to sin and His Father would forsake Him for a while.
Jesus hated iniquity, He never loved it. He did not sin, sin was laid on Him. He was not guilty, yet He was made sin; what power His Father has. The Father turned His eyes away from Him for the space of three hours. The Bible records that the sun became dark, geography gave way (Matt. 27:45). There was darkness and earthquake, because what held the earth together was being killed. At the very instance that Jesus died, He knew that something left Him, and He cried, “…Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matt. 27:46). This was not a physical forsaking; something had left Him.
After that, God gave Jesus up to sin for three days. This is what is called sin offering. Sin took Jesus to hell for three days. And hell rejoiced to see Jesus made sin. He was laid in the lowest part of the earth (Ps. 88:4-5). Hell is an oblivious place, a place of no remembrance, a place of forgetfulness, where no one can bail one out; it is a spirit realm. The guardians of hell are hellish in nature, and do not show mercy. Then Jesus began to pray like Jonah did when he was in the belly of the fish, “Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead?…” (Ps. 88:10). Then something that has never happened occurred, God changed the game, telling hell that He sent His Son to hell in order to get at it.
Suddenly, on the third day, the glory of God left paradise, left the throne; the jasper light which the Bible calls the glory of God came down to hell. The glory of God visited hell; all that God is went to hell. Suddenly, Satan and his cohorts realized that the game was over. Satan regretted killing Jesus. Suddenly, what was sin became righteousness, the teeth of hell was broken, the power of death was fractured completely, death was swallowed up in victory, Jesus rose up. Suddenly, that ugly looking, sin overtaken, kind of Being chained in darkness, held in pain, and crying from wrath, became the king of glory who had the capacity to sit on God’s throne. It was hell that saw this first, so hell knows this message very well.
The presence of God is here because we are describing Jesus. Now this was not the kind of warfare like that which the boxing sport portrays. Jesus did not win Satan so to say; rather, Jesus destroyed him, Jesus annihilated him that had the power of death, that is, the devil (Heb. 2:14). In Himself, Jesus took all that the devil is and turned/transformed it to all that God is, in a man. Hell, which had been Satan’s boast, suddenly became nothing. Jesus did not hurry out of hell, as though He was trying to escape. He calmed down, and preached. His first message was in hell. He preached to spirits in hell, as the apostle Peter described.
1 Peter 3:19-20
“By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; [20] Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.”
These spirits were disobedient in the days of Noah. The Bible tells us about the sons of God that saw the daughters of men who were fair, and they left God (Gen. 6:1-2). These are the people this scripture is referring to. God will not preach to everyone in the days of Noah, because their hearts were evil continually. However, there were some sons of God, children of Adam, through Seth, who had developed a communion with God suddenly fell, being deceived by the beauty of the daughters of men. Satan is bad, he produced ladies that can take the heart of the sons of God away from Him.
This calls for caution; if your sonship is not well grounded, you can resort to tarry at a place or with a woman that God did not destined for you. This is why you see God fighting with you regarding your decision to marry someone, because He knows that with such a person, you would not follow His plan.
Jesus preached to these spirits, they heard the gospel and they believed Him. There is what is called “upper hell”, called Abraham’s bosom (Luke 16:19-25). Hell is a real place. Some people suppose that Abraham’s bosom does not exist. Jesus told of the rich man and Lazarus. The Bible said angels took Lazarus to Abraham’s bosom, and Lazarus saw the rich man in hell. This was not a parable, nor was it fiction. The Bible said, “there was a certain begger named Lazarus” (Luke 16:20). Note the word, ‘certain’. Jesus was not trying to create Abraham’s bosom with words, nor was He lying. This Abraham’s bosom is not heaven; as one cannot see people in hell from heaven, but one can see hell from Abraham’s bosom.
The rich man cried, “…Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue…” (Luke 16:23-24). We can see that the soul of this rich man had not changed though he was in hell, and still commanded for Lazarus. This tells us that a soul that is carnal will not automatically become spiritual when it transits to the spirit realm; it will be the same. The rich man had looked down on Lazarus so much when they were on earth, and now that he was in hell, he was still asking for Lazarus to be sent to him. Abraham’s response tells us that a person’s father cannot help one when such is in hell. Some people suppose that hell is not real; if only they could try dying they would realize the truth.
Jesus was raised from the dead, He is the first begotten from the dead, raised by the power of God (). The power that raised Him up took Him to the highest place — Jesus sat. From the lowest place, he went to the highest place and sat on the throne. This implies that no matter how deep, he can raise you. It was in hell that they raised the Son, a son higher than angels and the heavens.
They gave birth to Jesus in the most horrible places. In earth in a manger and in the spirit in hell. If you do not believe in Jesus, the wrath of God is upon your head.
When Jesus was about to sit in the throne, He knew we would still be babies even though we are raised with him, we need to grow up, grow beyond heavens, grow to the throne, he knew we were still babies. God did not want a ministry of the angelic, a throne of the same caliber with the devil, what can destroy him is another wisdom entirely which has never been revealed, so Jesus came, destroyed him and sat in the throne expecting to make his enemy his footstool. Why footstool?
Genesis 1:1-8
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day”
Heaven here, does not refer to where the angels dwell, it is the heaven of man.
We have heaven, inside that heaven, there are heavens in it, they now made another heaven over us. Satan was driven out of the heavens into hell, he then came into Eden to deceive man, he did not want to stop on earth, gradually he graduated from being a serpent to a dragon.
His former heaven was superior, he used an advantage, temptation, it is legal as we must be tempted; he tempted and Adam gave him room. That day when Adam died he did not take our heaven immediately, it took some time. During the flood, he was in the air.
Noah built an ark, rain came, after sometime. What God was doing was salvation, because man was going bad. God is merciful, he had to bring earth to an end to restart it again, out of the ark came Noah and his family, and a new generation arose.
Nimrod the son of Cush rose up and did the same thing Cain did; he took them from Ararat to begin a new civilisation and the purpose of this was to take them from the presence of God. (Gen. 10:9). He was a second cain that departed from the presence of God after the tower of babel which led to the scattering of the children of God all over the earth. They were scattered according to the number of the children of Israel which is twelve (12).
Everyone on earth is numbered amongst the children of Israel, therefore, we are Israel. God told Pharaoh, “…Israel is my son, even my firstborn…Let my son go, that he may serve me…” (Exodus 4:22-23). However, God was not looking for Israel, but mankind; and He has not given up His dream. Satan thought God could weary God but God is the creator of time and He outlasts Satan in all things. Satan troubled the twelve children of Israel to disrupt the seed but God won. God is not limited by time, He can create time.
Satan was thinking of 2000 years. God saw 4,000 years ahead, when Jesus would come. Satan was waiting for the seed of the woman that was prophesied to bruise his head, through several generations. Satan fought the seed even to the house of Jacob, the 12 tribes. He made Reuben commit fornication, and was thus disqualified. He thought maybe it would be Judah; Judah was also a fornicator. Satan was fighting them, with the intention of fighting the seed of the woman because he did not know from whom the seed would come. When the blessing came on Joseph, Satan thought he had finally gotten the seed; God deceived him through Joseph. Ephraim was Joseph; Ephraim produced a son called Joshua, who took Israel to the promised land. And the ark settled in Shiloh, in the land of the Ephraimites. God was watching; Satan too, was also watching. It was a battle.
From Genesis to Malachi until Matthew when Jesus came, was a battle, a battle of seeds and God won that battle. God sought out a technology through the Moabitess, Ruth. God orchestrated a famine in Israel, which drove Elimelech and his family out of Judea to the land of Moab, one of the children of Lot (Ruth 1:1-4). We see God plotting graphs of genealogies. They found Ruth, who had a peculiar soul— the soul of a cleaver (Ruth 1:16). They needed something that could cleave to the Lord.
Ruth 1:16
“And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.”
From Ruth, God got David, “a man after My heart” (Acts 13:22); that genetic trait was from Ruth. God was seeking, seed after seed, until David was born. Ephraim, Joseph had failed God. God also gave Benjamin a chance through Saul the son of kish, who also failed. God had vindicated Himself from the cry of Racheal. Then God turned to the person He really chose for Jacob, Leah, it was the time to favour her. It took time for Judah (Leah’s son) to mature; They got David – son of Jesse, from the house of bread, called Bethlehem – “a man after My heart”. It is not easy to find a man after God’s heart. It can take generations to find a man after God’s heart who will do all His will.
Saul could not do all God’s will, so he was rejected. Saul spared Agag, he failed (1 Sam. 15:20). Saul’s sin was this: since the ark departed from Israel to the land of the Philistines, and came back to Israel, Saul never thought of restoring the ark to Shiloh. Saul did not want the priestly hold on Israel as he preferred controlling Israel. So God rejected him. When God wants to reject a person, He would arrange a set up for the person. God set up Saul to fail. Just like God set Haman up to beg Esther, the king saw it and thought it was a romance. That action infuriated the king and that was the deliverance that preserved the whole of Israel (Judea) from death (Est. 7:8). God arranged it.
God can confuse people to save you, and give you deliverance. God had been wanting to get Saul out of the throne. God knew that Saul would not restore worship, all Saul wanted his own dominion and will. It was on “will”-grounds that Saul was rejected. Though David was a fornicator. There are sins worse than sins of the flesh; such sins are not usually seen. A man can hate God; whereas another person may have a problem, when he sins, he can beg God for His mercies and salvation. God will decide to clean up that soul, but God knows that the heart can follow Him. The Bible says, “…visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;” (Exodus 20:5). A nation should not hate God.
Saul was impatient and could not wait for Samuel but went ahead to offer the sacrifice. That led to the kingdom being taken from him. God told Samuel not to weep for Saul, as He had found a son of Jesse (1 Sam. 16:1). God was looking for a man who will do all His will; and He found David. We see the heart of David in Joseph. When Mary, his betrothed, got pregnant with Jesus, He decided to put her away privily and not cause her public disgrace (Matt. 1:19). The Bible says Joseph was a good man. If Joseph had not decided to put her away privily, Jesus might have died in the womb. It was possible for Jesus, as a baby, to be killed that is why Joseph and Mary had to run away with Jesus when Herod sought to kill Him (Matt. 2:13). Sometimes, you need to run away with your “Jesus” (figuratively speaking). Some people will go to show their “Jesus” to Herod. This is a wisdom that teaches us to guide what God is doing inside us, to hide under radar (go low-key); and not be too quick to share things God tells us in secret.
All that the devil wanted was to stop Jesus. They now prophesied that the devil would drop from our heaven. He is in our heaven now, he does not like our heaven, he is using it as he wants to ascend from there.
Isaiah 14:12
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations”
This heaven here is not the first heaven but a lower inferior heaven. This was the fall from our heaven, the air. Adam used to own it before. The devil is using the air as a springboard to go up to higher heavens.
Isaiah 14:13-14
“For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north; [14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”
He was talking about ascension into the heavens, that means that the heaven where he was at that moment is not the highest.
Jesus dying and resurrection cannot pull him down, by legal authority, he hung in heaven and is still hanging in heaven because many still obey him. He is the one who is making us not respond to God. We are using his life to live, his wisdom, he is selling a product and he made that product something that you cannot do without, it is called the power of Satan, it is readily available because he does not want to go away.
Psalm 110:1-3
“The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. [2] The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. [3] Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.”
God is going to raise a rod, a rod means people of authority that would come out of the church to ascend into the air where Satan is and they would disrupt governance by the life of the spirit. With the power of God, they would take heaven until it is difficult for Satan to stay there.
After that, Christians will be willing. Willing to do the will of God, willing to disengage from everything Satan offers, willing to reject Satan completely. When there is a mass departure from the devil, hearts change in numbers. Before then, some people must overcome Satan so He would not stay in the air.
Worship means to take a journey. Old Testament saints went to a carnal tabernacle; New Testament saints go up, not physically dying, not prayers, there is a way you go up after the recommended revelation in obeying God to go up. Reveal the will of God, let the people do it, they would begin to go up. When affection is no longer set here, people would go up. Souls are like tents, when they unpitched, they would go up. When you give reason for souls not to settle, they would go up. People can make up their minds to go up. That is why faith was born (Heb. 11:1). Faith is the exercise of relying on and practicing the unseen life. That is how to go up, you believe it and do it as if you have seen it. You go up until you begin to enter the tabernacle.
The Hebrew church got to a place where they now told them to come boldly, they were comers (Heb. 4:16). The time of need is where you meet the High Priest. We ought to go up to Zion where we would meet the head of the church, Jesus, the mediator. That is the proper time to be introduced to the new covenant, He is the messenger of the covenant. We have to go up, get to the mountain, get to the second heaven.
Some Christians are walking on earth but they are not here. They have found the heavenly places. We ought to ascend up into the spirit.
Psalms 24:1-3
“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. [2] For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. [3] Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?”
If your attention is on the seas, there would be billow waves and many things contending for you to settle your troubles. There was a challenge that was thrown to earthly people. Who shall ascend? When the sea is raging, who shall ascend. It is not easy to ascend from earth where the foundation is waters. The presence of water confirms it is unstable and the devil uses it to his advantage, but you can ascend. When the word of ascension comes telling you to set your affection on things above, you would ascend, you would abide in the hills of the Lord.
Vanity is a wicked thing that the devil has created for you not to go up. To swear deceitfully is to commit to getting this world at all cost. This world is a great distraction to going up. To be really useful on earth, be heavenly. When earth was in trouble, no earth could help it, Heaven had to send help. You can go up when your heart is filled with unseen activities of the heavens.
To be in a place, be with the people of the place. Real heavens do not keep malice for too long, and when you are really ‘heaven’, you would not even have it. Real heavens keep marriage, marriage survives in the heart of real heavens. You would not need to settle disputes when your heart is heavenly. Real heavens are babies.
Jesus is waiting for you in heaven. Jesus has come to a place and some people need to meet Him there. What He wants to communicate to you is what the end is about, which is that hearts should become heavenly.
Luke 10:20
“Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
This is not names being written in the book of life. Here, you write your name in heaven by doing heavenly, becoming heavens in your soul (Heb. 12:23). By conversations that cometh from heaven, names can be embossed. He wants your name to be written. When He gives you conversations, it is conversations for names to be written and when your name is written in heaven, you become a heavenly dweller.
Revelation 12:12
“Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
‘They that dwell in heaven’ is not talking about angels, it is talking about saints who are not earthly. He passed into heavens to bring you into heavens, so He can bring your soul there.
