(Message begins)
There is a need for us at this time to discern where we are and pay a closer attention to the things of so great salvation which the Lord has spoken (Heb. 2:3). The salvation of which was spoken is being manifest now. The words of those moments are referred to as very slippery such that when one loses touch of them, they can be denied.
Hebrews 2:1
“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.”
These words are words of promise which when lost can make one deny the promise. Those who asked the Lord about the promise of the coming were not devils, they were believers who had journeyed along the way but had lost touch with the word of the promise.
1 John 2:22
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”
The enemy raises false prophets that present wrong Christs. These prophets are not yet liars, as they only contend with Christ. The real Antichrist is not him that denies Christ, but he that denies the Father and the Son. Anyone who denies the message of Christ is lower than a liar. The liar is one who wants to ensure that men do not escape hell and death; its power, grip and dominion, which is the reason for the manifestation of the Son. The manifestation of the Son is to make the works of the devil bare. It is possible for us to know what it takes to deal with sin but remain unable to terminate the works of the devil. The works of the devil are more than the sins that we know and that which comes by flesh.
The beginning chapters of the Bible did not contain works of the flesh, it was the bringing in of Satanic work that cracked down the souls of men. The living soul is a very strong or high expression of spirits. The living soul is a spirit, but it is the lowest form of spirit because the living soul can still relate with God. Anything lower than the living soul cannot relate with God because God is a Spirit. The living soul has a life that is higher than death but is not preserved from death; death can hack it over time.
The issue of the Father and the Son is the secret of God destroying the works of the devil. The Son of God is come and has given us an understanding. We are not just receiving understanding, He has given us an understanding to know Him and because we know Him who is true, we are in His Son, Jesus Christ. It means that in the True God and Eternal Life is the manifestation of the Son of God. (1 John 5:20)
The reason for the manifestation of the Son is to bring many sons, not just for Himself but for us all. The same way we have seen the church of the Living God, we would also see the church of the True God which is the church of the sons of God. Though it is a high estate, it is not unattainable. We are having Christ men among us already by reason of raising the building of Christ over some time. Some are having the conversation of Christ and when you have their conversation, you see their appearance. It is no longer strange for some to say Christ is formed in them, unlike in previous seasons where it appeared unattainable.
A man who denies the Son; denies that Jesus is the Son of God and denies that the Son of God is come, will not have access to the fellowship of the Father and the Son.
1 John 1:3
“that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”
If there is a fellowship, then there is promise of being fellows or partakers of the life of that fellowship. Apostle John was not making this statement amongst all believers, but some; that is, it is not a fellowship people enter into at New birth. There are fellowships in the spirit, having cadres and realms of fellowship. For John to say, “we know that the son of God is come”, it means that there are many of them that are already attaining to the stature of that manifestation.
That verse does not describe the Son in His full glory, as it describes the Son as the True God who still has a place of migration to the Only True God. There would be men on earth like us who would make the pronouncement, “we know”, showing us that it refers to a group of people.
Acknowledging these realities helps us to pay more attention to them and see that the highest job of the Father which is primarily about raising sons is achieved. Here, the Father is not introduced as God, otherwise it would be speaking about the God of all creation. God has given men encounters and experiences before that have changed their lives but when you hear, ‘blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ’, it means that what God is addressing here cannot be accessed without the revelation of the Father. The Father is the revelation of the person of God as regards inheritance.
Business here is not all that it has to do with God, it has moved down the office of God to Father. The utmost job of God as a Father is in raising.
Romans 1:4
“and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead…”
This is not just about someone who died and came back to life. That resurrection is a building; something was added to Jesus when He was raised back to life. There is a technology in the raising. Raising is much more like building. There is a building that Jesus should attain that God kept in the time of His death. Certain power was worked in the time of resurrection. (Eph. 1:19-20)
To ‘wrought’ is a work. Something happened when God raised Jesus from the dead. The activity of Jesus being dead and coming back to life is known by all, but what God wrought is not known by all. Apostle Paul was talking about what; what means the manner, the work. The Father is a worker, the one who wroughts, the one who carefully puts together, fashions a process that brings about a change that is irreversible.
God did not only raise Him ‘from’ the dead, He also raised Him ‘of’ the dead. They are all declarations of works that the Father doeth (John 5:17). There are works that are works of the Father that have to do with raising the Son. There is a work that the Father worked in raising Christ, but there is a work that the Father doeth in raising the Son.
The confession of Peter at Caesarea Philippi was a milestone in the knowing of the Son of God. If Peter had said thou art the Christ, it would not have done the job because the Christ is a work. It is a work that God worked above sin, above flesh. If they did not sin in the garden of Eden, we would not know Christ. We would get to God before we know Christ. Because Christ is hid in God (Col. 3:3); you cannot see God and easily see Christ. What you can see in God is the living. If you check God down to his foundation, you would not see Christ there, what you would find there is the living.
If Peter had just said thou art Christ without mentioning Son of the living God, it would not have crossed to the work that has to do between the Father and the Son (Matt. 16:16). It would not show that eternal building, the building in God that makes God God over creation. The devil was not fighting God, he was not trying to replace God. You cannot see God and ever think you would uproot him. God is a rock, rock always has roots and that is who God is. You cannot move God as God is terrible among His creations. The devil’s problem is that he sees a place in God and he feels it is his right to take it. The place is reserved for you and I. He saw it and he felt that it was his right to take it, like Haman who felt that he was the one that deserved the honor instead of Mordecai.
When Peter said the Son of the living, he moved to the realm of God, to the base of God. He was saying Jesus is not just a messiah, He is part of God. God is called God of the living and not God of the dead. There are angels who are everlasting, but they are not living. They do not share in the living life of the Father.
Jeremiah 10:10
“But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.”
The living God is the True God. Other creations were also everlasting, but they do not have the life of the everlasting. The life of the living God and the true God is not shared with angels. They are only creatures of the everlasting, the life of the everlasting is not in them, that is why they do not have everlasting life. It is when you have the building of the living and the building of the true that you can claim to have everlasting life. You cannot have a life without its own building, you cannot have a life without the works of that life.
None of the angels have everlasting life. The defeat of the devil is going to start from the works wrought in the Son. It is not at the end that we are going to defeat him. His works would be cracked down by the works that God wrought in the Son. The works that define the Son are what would crack down the works of the devil.
2 Corinthians 1:18-19
“But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. [19] For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.”
Yea there means that in him was arrayed the same consistent building, that is, there is something in the Father from the base to the top. The Son of God laid up everything in the Father.
2 Corinthians 1:20
“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”
All the lives in the Father are all promises. Amen means done, finished, because the work can start and not finish. Satan was harassing the churches in Revelations with foundations of the living because he does not want all the promises to be laid because the Son has all the promises. Promises here are the promises of life.
Hebrews 4:1
“Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.”
The Son is a pile of promises. You can fail of a promise especially when you are going towards God, towards the end. In the true God are levels of promises because there are many crowns in the realm of the ‘true’. You cannot talk about a crown without mastery. One of the identities of the Son is that He is crowned with many crowns.
Revelation 19:12
“His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.”
These are expressions of what the works in Jesus produced. You cannot desire those expressions without its work. All these crowns are in the everlasting, crowns that wait for you in heaven, not when you get to heaven. Heavens are keeping crowns of mastery of life. Men are going to be crowned here. It is not this head that wears the crown, it is the nature within. Jesus obtained a name from those crownings; my name, my new name, the name which the Father gave me. He has realms of names. As He is wearing more crowns, He is changing names.
‘The Son of God is come’ is a Son that captures all the promises. That is why you can see chapters of children becoming fathers and fathers becoming children again. Each time the promise of a life is to be shown, you have to become a child for entrance to that learning. The pattern is from children to young men to fathers, then fathers become children again.
We are a people of promises, the Son of God is the house of promises. Denying the Son is to deny the promises of life. The commitment of God or the job of the Father is in raising the Son. The Son here is not just the Son of the living but the Son who has all the promises, the one which now is and the one which is to come. ‘Which is to come’ even if revealed today is still to come to us. If you have not accessed the way of the promise, to you it is to come. It would not come to you until you access the whole path.
Hebrews 8:2
“A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.”
The building of the true tabernacle is the building of the Son. The sanctuary is not His primary place of ministry, His primary place of ministry is in the tabernacle. It is because of the sons and children of Levi, their tendency not to go through their process made Him take up the task of both the sanctuary and the true tabernacle. He is primarily the minister of the Tabernacle.
2 Corinthians 4:18
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
In the sanctuary, there is still a measure of seeing there because there is a supply of light. The realm of the unseen starts from the true tabernacle, from the holiest, that is why no one else has access to it but the high priest.
2 Corinthians 5:1
“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
The eternal house starts from the everlasting to the eternal, that is the building of God. God’s building is eternal and everlasting (Deut. 33:27).
Nobody would be called a son of God if he does not move from Christ to the living. You must have your foundation in the living. To us, Christ is our foundation, but in the God world, the living is our foundation.
In Matthew, Jesus called the man who built his house on the rock the wise man.
Luke 6:48
“He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”
He dug a rock and laid the foundation on a rock. He has moved into the realm of God’s sons. This man has brought the foundation of God into his foundation, and the rock is Christ; he laid the foundation on the rock.
You will then understand why Peter said “thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matt. 16:16) and Jesus further said “upon this rock” (Matt. 16:18). Christ and the living God have become the foundation. That is why He is the minister of the true tabernacle – the building that is to be erected on the foundation of the living.
Jesus said “upon this rock”; He has put the rocks together. When you put a rock inside a rock, it becomes one rock. Actually the Church that would defeat hell must welcome the living as its foundation.
Let me explain to you why the living is important; the living God does not regard the dead (Matt. 22:32). The living God or the living realm of God’s Son is the realm where every death is exposed. The eyes of God are upon everything called dead, He wants to make all to live. No matter how long we have been in the sanctuary, some things in us would not live unto God.
The living God demands that all should respond that is why He is the Father of the living. It is like your battery, some cells have died but it is still working and light is being supplied but when they hand us over to the Father of life, His nature is that all the cells must respond because if He does not live we cannot be quickened. That is why He is also called the God of the quick.
2 Timothy 4: 1
“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom…”
His appearing is to severe the quick and the dead because He wants to turn all His children that have lived before Him into quicken. The journey to a quickening world is living. So, if He is quick and will be quickening, we must have lived; every cell in us would be put to respond.
That is why Scriptures talk about putting aside all malice. You should know that there are different kinds, shades, natures and levels of malice.
1 Peter 2:1
“Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings”
It is because He is the God of the living and not of the dead. Though he (a man) is not yet quick but he should live.
For us, that place is important because we can draw back from that place; the place of training of the priest in the sanctuary. He has put a demand on purging so that it can be used for scrutiny. That was where the Hebrew Church was when Paul said you must not draw back (Heb. 10:38), it means you can draw back.
Hebrews 3:12
“Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.”
Hebrews 12:3
“For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
That scrutiny can bring up all these reactions from the soul. The living is not done except you come to the point of receiving a law of the living. The Father cannot get us to be living without the Spirit of the living. That is the place in Ezekiel where He says I would put My Spirit within you (Eze. 36:27)
My Spirit is My law or My flesh; My body. The body that would carry the true God must have been constructed by the law of the living God. So when the Father of the living is staying in with His eyes and light, it is actually that He wants to give His laws. For all those promises, you do not belong to them without Their Spirit.
If you are Christ’s and you are going to receive Christ life, you must have Christ Spirit. The way They own you and I is to put Their Spirit within us. Their Spirit is Their law.
Romans 8:9
“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his”.
Also if any man has not the Spirit of the living God he is not of the Father. The way the Father reckons that to the living is to live and live until you receive a spirit.
Ezekiel 36:27
“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them”
The son is a doer. The place the son is approved is when he does the law.
The realm of the true God is much more the realm of receiving the testimony of the true God. The law is light, it is the light of the living while testimony is the light of the true.
Isaiah 8:20
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them”.
The law is light, the testimony also is light. But one thing about the law is that the law is what frames, it is what describes our body. When you say living soul, living soul is a body. Before God gave life to that soul, he framed the body that can carry the life. He would not breathe if He has not framed.
Moses gave commandments but it is the law of Moses. What priests hold is the law, because when you get a law you can get to the commandment of the law. Every life is described for every body; body is a frame for a life. As much as we are going to be children of resurrection, Paul said every star is different in glory, because everybody would be different depending on the life the soul captures.
What you see in the mouth of the high priest is the law; they move from the law and do commandments. The power to do commandment is dependent on the frame, and that is why Scripture says you don’t put a new wine in an old wine skin (Matt. 9:17). We need priests that have the law of the Spirit or the law of the everlasting covenant in their mouth.
Law does not look simple like commandment. The frame of knowledge is the law. An eagle is not a pigeon because when it was made, God put the laws of eagle inside it before it had the eagle life and that is why when the eagle life depreciates it can grow. The law that makes its flesh is renewable. Other birds don’t have this, when they grow old, they pass away.
Isaiah 40:30-31
“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: [31] but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”
“I see you mounting up with wings as eagles. You won’t fail in the promise of God’s life. We would say that every promise of God in you are yea and amen.”
