Believers’ Convention 2025 – Day 1 Evening Session – Pastor Tope Falaye

Believers convention 2025

Date: Sunday, 17th August, 2025

Transcript Summary

  1. This Convention is a feast of things of the throne; the Lord wants to feast us from His throne.
  1. Man is tripartite in nature — spirit, soul, and body (1 Thess. 5:23). When man ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in Genesis, his spirit died because he disobeyed, but his soul and body did not die at that point. However, death later made an incursion into the soul and body. Man carried a dead spirit, and God related with him like that until Jesus came.
  1. Jesus obeyed God, passed where Adam failed, excelled where other men came short, obeyed God till He died on the cross, and when God raised Him from the dead, He came into life fully—spirit, soul and body.
  1. God dealt with man in different generations and dispensations, giving them life for their souls. For some of them, the life was so strong in their souls that it touched their bodies, just like Enoch, Moses, and Elijah.
  1. God’s plan for man is not that his soul or body would taste life in a measure, but rather that the spirit, soul, and body would come into fullness of life.
  1. (Ephesians 2:5-6). It is clearwe are not yet seated as such; rather, we are in Christ, who is seated. But we are destined to sit. Because Jesus has sat, all men have also been destined to come to that place of being seated on the throne.
  1. God knows that we are seated in Christ, but not with the entirety of our being—spirit, soul, and body. It is only our spirit that is seated, but the soul and body have been purchased so that they can be saved to the point where they can sit on the throne.
  1. (1 Corinthians 3:1). God does not put baby believers who are still carnal on the throne; this is because the model for the throne, in the person of our Lord Jesus, is not carnal but spiritual. Jesus is not just spiritual; He is divine and, much more, eternal. Nothing less than the standard that God wrought in Him should sit on the throne.
  1. (1 Corinthians 3:2). Paul talked about two meals: “milk” to raise a baby believer to a child and “meat“ to raise a child to a spiritual man. It is a spiritual man that can begin to receive the things of the throne.
  1. (Hebrews 8:1-2). Jesus has a ministry that He is executing from heaven. He is a High Priest who is set on the right hand of the throne of majesty. What He does with that setting is that He is a Minister of the Sanctuary and the True Tabernacle, which is for the purpose of making us sit on the throne.
  1. Our enemy is a thronic entity (Isa. 14:13). The devil has a throne. So we must understand that what is warring against us has a throne. The dragon has a throne backing his evil works. So sin is thronic, death is thronic. Sheer will, zeal, or human desire cannot break us free from the power of Satan that is thronic, except we are made spiritual.
  1. Sin has a reigning power, death also has a reigning power (Rom. 6:14; 5:21). What deals with both is the gospel of the throne, which is the gospel of Jesus. That is where Jesus does the full work of deliverance upon the souls of people in the Church.
  1. It is only a person whose soul has been raised and made a spiritual man that can seek the things of the throne. Jesus is the Minister who ministers the things of the throne. I count it a privilege that, in the days of our flesh, the Lord found a generation favoured to partake of His things till they arrive at the throne.

            Blessing!
