Believers’ Convention 2025 – Day 3 Morning Session – Rev. Kayode Oyegoke

Date: Tuesday, 19th August, 2025
Transcript Summary
- (1 Cor. 13:1-3). One can perform these activities, but without charity, such a person is nothing. God does not need the contribution from our natural strengths, for what is of the utmost importance to Him is our salvation.
- The throne of darkness has given wrong definitions of a righteous man. There are things we may do for men, but we should know that those things do not necessarily commend us to God. This is because we are dealing with a high being (Satan) who can create a false form of righteousness.
- Charity is beyond the action of loving one’s brother; it is a course of love in the realm of the spirit. Charity is an insignia of a person. There is a limit to a natural man; his strength has a threshold and when this threshold expires, he would break. However, when natural men break, a charity man will remain standing.
- One may be perfect but not yet saved. It is such a man that God can relate with. God does not relate with spiritual babes or children, rather, He only relates with men in the spirit. It is the Holy Ghost that relates with spiritual babes; He even gives a portion of Himself to a spiritual babe (Eph. 1:13-14).
- One of the ways to identify a man in the spirit is that such a person can endure all things. For one to be well prepared for marriage, such a person should be put through the training of charity. In relating with one’s wife, one must treat her as a weaker vessel (1 Pet. 3:7). Any home would survive in the hands of a charity man.
- We cannot take God in His raw form, as He is both everlasting and eternal. (Deut. 33:27). The realm of the eternal dimension is not the same as the everlasting realm. The eternal God is our refuge (Deut. 33:27). We war with the arms; the hands are attached to the arms both for work and to make war.
- (Isa. 62:11). His reward is with Him and His work is before Him. When we get to God, we first meet what is before Him, which are His hands and His arms. When God was addressing the seven churches (Rev. 1-3), He was checking for the works He gave them. A doer is one who can do things for God. (John 4:34). The meat is actually a work; it is the first work.
- All His works are not meat, for there is also a portion of His work that is drink. Water is a drink, but drink is beyond water; it extends to wine and blood. That is where the work finishes. To really finish His work is to get to the cup. That was why Jesus prayed for the cup to pass over Him – that cup is a work (Matt. 26:39).
- (Rev. 4:6). Before the throne, there was a sea of glass. That sea is the word of God. The word of God is like water – it is a glassy water. If it is glass, it is what you behold and then you change. This glass is not a mirror, but a solidified water.
- (Rev. 22:1). It is not a glass, for it is clear as crystal; it is not sea, but river. Everlasting life is the sea of God. There is the water of everlasting life; it is the sea of God. Eternal Life is the crystal; it is a river.
- There was a time that the throne was the throne of the everlasting God. In the world to come, He would unveil the throne as an eternal throne. Glass reflects while crystals refract. Reflection refers to the beholding of our image in a glass, but refraction means bending or turning one to the east.
- The purpose of the everlasting throne is to save us. When we are saved, He would reward us. Works are for salvation. To save is to take one to a place where such a person cannot return.
- (John 17:4-5). Jesus had finished the work of God at this point. He was through with the works then He began speaking about reward. Once work is done, the next thing is reward, which is with the eternal Father. Thus, the reward sits on the work; the work carries the reward all around.
- Once Jesus finished the work, He asked for the reward (John 17:4-5). We are seated in Christ not with Him (Eph. 2:6), but the reward is with Him (Rev. 22:12). To be with Him is different from being in Him. The reason we cannot sit with Him yet is because our souls are not yet compatible with the throne.
- If we are victorious in our warfare with Satan and overcome, then we are qualified for the throne. God is expecting that a man would overcome a cherub. One cannot overcome a cherub and remain the same, for such a man is destined for the throne. We must overcome Satan to sit on the throne. (Rev. 12:11).
- (Ezek. 1:21). The life of the cherub is in the ring (wheels). Thus, if the ring is destroyed, the cherub is destroyed. Every spirit has an attachment to a life. Once that life is destroyed, the spirit is destroyed. As such, if we overcome Satan and do not destroy his throne (life), he would regenerate again.
- We must find grace not to love our lives until the death (Rev 12:11). Those that would do this are men from the company of overcomers. The throne of God is not a physical throne, for His throne is in Him. Thus, God sits in Himself. One who is seated is unquestionable; forces respond to such a person because He is seated.
- Our Lord Jesus is seated on the throne and wants us to sit with Him. One who encounters Him and is trained by Him would sit as He is seated. Such a person would use His everlasting throne, and the eternal throne would be his reward.
Blessings!
