Believers’ Convention 2025 – Day 6 Evening Session – Rev. Kayode Oyegoke

Date: Friday, 22nd August, 2025
Transcript Summary
- (Heb. 1:8-12). To be changed is to be replaced or substituted. This change is not a remodelling or recreation of the same habitat, but the passing away of habitats. Thus, we should hold on to that which remains.
- A believer should not be joined to a harlot (1 Cor. 6:16). The harlot is the world, and it is a kingdom. The greatest strength of Satan is the world he framed with his own word. Satan is a cherub and hence, has a word (Heb. 2:2).
- All the angels in their different cadres have a word; they have different measures of the word based on their respective frames. A cherub holds the word totally and thus, he is a witness. Cherubs are witnesses because of the measure of the word spoken through them.
- The way a witness will speak the word is different from how a minister will speak the word. Ministering starts in the Holy Place into the Most Holy Place. The end of the Most Holy Place is to be a witness and a minister (Acts 26:16).
- A witness is a symbol of an olive in the New Testament. One cannot be an olive tree without being a vine. The olive tree is the covering of the vine, which is oil (anointing). To be an olive is to witness.
- (Rev. 1:2). The sayings of God are in two forms: word and testimony. He will first speak the word and later begin to speak the testimony. This word of God is not just what God speaks to a man, rather, it is what God speaks – it is His own word.
- Man is not born with the word of God, he needs to labour to get it. However, angels were formed with word; it was one of their inheritances. The first labour for man is to grow in the milk and then Christ – the word of Christ and the testimony of Christ. There is no total freedom for man without coming into the testimony of Christ (Rom. 8:1-2).
- (Rom. 8:1-2). Once a man has been made free, he is brought into the realm of God to receive the word of God. The word of God does not just come to any kind of person, it comes to gods (John 10:34-35).
- (Luke 3:1-2). John was another kind of god; he was a little Elohim. When the word of God has come to a man, men must look for that man to get it. If that word did not come to John, men would not have seen and understood Jesus and hence, He would have been lost to man.
- (Psa. 107:20). The word started the process, but it was not the word that saved them from their destruction. When the word of God comes, the testament or covenant follows it.
- (Psa. 25:14). The covenant can only be gotten by the secret of the covenant. The word of God precedes the secret of the covenant. Satan cannot be destroyed with the word of God alone, for the covenant or testimony of God is needed.
- The word of God is grace, but truth is a higher grace. Grace is the ability to do what God has called you to do, which is to please God.
- (Eph. 4:13). The five-fold ministry is lower than our calling and election, but was raised to enable us attain the calling. We all have one calling, which is to go to God, and we need the grace for it.
- (Ezek. 28:15). Satan was perfect in all his ways until iniquity was found in him. Vain deceit can spoil a man, cripple and redesign him. Satan can make a man beautiful outwardly but would spoil him inwardly.
- (Ezek. 28:17). Satan had a word that was given to him by God, and from that word, he created his own word – he corrupted the word that was originally given to him. If his wisdom was corrupted, his word was also corrupted, hence, everything in him was corrupted.
- (Ezek. 28:12-13). The sum is his fullness but there is a seal of his fullness – he has a crown upon his stature. Like the pillar in the temple of Solomon (1 Kings 7:21), Satan has a crown which is his seal. The crown is higher than the stature.
- Fullness grows to the neck. The head does not stay on the body but on the neck. Our neck is a pillar that stays on your shoulder, so when God is making you a pillar in His temple (Rev. 3:12), it means you are one that He can easily rest on to touch the body.
- The gift of God to Satan was the word and testimony he gave to him. However, Satan corrupted everything and created death from his covenant and testament.
- Grave came by an engraving. When the law of the grave is being written, an engraving is taking place. This means the law is the creator of the grave. Both the grave and death have their strength from their law. Once the law is written, covenant is made, and a grave is dug. The result of an engraving is death.
- (Heb. 2:2-5). The greatest strength of Lucifer is to keep a man in the present. If an angel is exposed to the world to come, he becomes demobilised, for the world to come was not designed for them, but for man.
- Angels have a greater authority than men in this present world, but not higher than the Son of God. What Jesus wills as an authority is beyond the present heavens and earth; He is operating by another spirit – the spirit of the world to come. Jesus had to find a throne to speak the things of the world to come to us.
- Anytime the world to come is spoken, it appears. Thus, by the words being spoken to us, we are actually living in our future before it comes; our soul is living there. Our future is at the right-hand side of the Majesty on high (Heb. 1:3).
- The coming of our Lord Jesus is the beginning of a new world that is higher than the heavens and the earth. The earth is a hardware while the world is its software. Thus, the problem of the earth is that its operating system is a corrupt one.
- If God can install His operating system in us, we would think and operate differently. (John 17:15). God will not just keep us from evil, He will help us overcome and become better than this present world.
- When God gives you a gift, hold it! Evil spirits will persecute you so that you will not bear fruits with it (Matt. 13:21). However, stay with it, hold it and keep it! The war is won when God’s things become your own.
- Satan has successfully convinced us to believe that his things are our own. However, this is not true, as what we call our life is not ours. We do not use the life of Satan, rather, the life uses us.
- (Jam. 1:17). God will not gift you a thing and seek to use you with it; rather, He leaves the gift with you so you can benefit from it. We must own what God is giving us.
- (Heb. 1:1-2). Jesus needs the throne to speak. Jesus spoke the same word on earth without a throne, but He ascended to the throne to move the powers of this word, so He can move wrong thrones out of man.
- A throne is not a seat, rather, it is a program of rule. Satan does not need to live inside you for his throne to be operational, rather, he puts the things of his throne in you. The things of Satan’s throne have some governing sense; they know how to dominate.
- Jesus did not sit on the throne for Himself, but for man. Jesus is seated to speak, and He will speak until nothing of the throne of Satan remains in us.
- (Isa. 9:7). Jesus governs and establishes a peace, which is never ending. The world is passing away, but Jesus is ever fresh. This is why He will keep showing us new things, even when we are saved to the uttermost and have attained Eternal Life.
- (Heb. 10:34). This Convention is a war against things that do not endure and a moving of enduring things into you so that you can endure. One who cannot endure God will not last. This endurance is an exercise to gain the nature of a Person that will not pass away.
- One who has a capacity to endure will destroy any evil spirit because no evil spirit can last to the end. The throne that endures (abides) gives things that will make a man remain.
- (Heb. 1:14). Salvation is not going to heaven, for you can get to heaven and yet not abide. One who abides is one that God has worked on and has made indestructible.
- We would record success in the spirit in this Convention and bear fruits; we have come into a commission of a new grace level. Spirits are inside us, heavens have breathed on us, and the Son of God has trumpeted in us.
Blessings!
