Believers’ Convention 2025 – Day 6 Morning Session – Dr. Stuart Quartemont

Date: Friday, 22nd August, 2025

Transcript Summary

  1. It is good that we have a heart of sacrifice, but it is also good to hear the Lord and follow His command in our lives.
  1. We have to pay the price in the place of prayer for God to open the heavens and bring His kingdom to our communities.
  1. God wants to set His throne in our community and when that happens, more of God and His ministry would take place, and we would see more breakthroughs.
  1. We need a balance between legalism and lawlessness. Some people go so far that they go on to legalism (religiosity) while others want to have the license to sin. But I see this ministry bringing people back in line to the balance.
  1. (1 Thess.5:23). There is a process that God wants us to go through so that we can get saved — spirit, soul, and body. When we get first born again, the spirit is born again, but there are natures we still need to be delivered from. The Holy Spirit points these things out to us.
  1. The time between when you get born again to the time you go to Jesus is ‘bonus time’. This is the time to get our crown, and we have to work for it. God gives you the grace to work; all you have to do is be willing and ask for help.
  1. We lack some things as Christians because we do not ask God. But God loves us asking Him for things.
  1. Grace is the ability to do what God has called you to do.  If we ask Him, He will give us grace. Most of us who are legalistic try to do things in the flesh, but that is a stench before God. If we do it under grace however, it is a sweet aroma before Him.
  1. (James 1:21). As the word is being implanted in your soul, it is bringing life to your soul. Paul said the water of the word would save your soul (Eph 5:26). The word is the key, but asides the word, what is even more important is obedience.
  1. (1 Sam. 15:22). Obedience is better than sacrifice. When you hear the word and it is implanted in you, you have to water (nuture) and obey (do) it. But we need grace to do them because God calls us to do things we cannot do.
  1. We would not need God if we could obey on our own. He loves us calling out to Him and His grace is sufficient for us (2 Cor. 12:9).
  1. The word can transform your physical body. As Christians, we have a different law — the law of the Spirit of Life. This same Spirit will heal our mortal bodies (Rom. 8:11). The enemy can try to stop us through our bodies, but God can heal us.
  1. There are so many things in God that we have access to, but we usually push them to ‘by and by’. As long as you have Jesus, you can have so much more. We need more of God, and if we would ask Him, He would give them to us.

            Blessings!
