Anamnesis 2025 Day 3 Morning Session – Pastor Emeka Egwuchukwu
Transcript Summary
1. This is the season to do God. God can be done. All flesh (souls) belong to God. There was something God had in mind when He created flesh, and the reason is this: “God was manifest in the flesh” (1 Tim. 3:16). God wants to dwell (live) in man—spirit, soul and body—as a house (1 Thess. 5:23); none of it belongs to Satan. However, God cannot manifest in a flesh that does not have capacity for Him.
2. Satan comes after our flesh/body because of God’s intention. It was never part of God’s plan that the body would be destroyed. The body is meant to come into another estate. Anytime a holy one like Moses is raised, Satan lusts after such. The holy one might escape in his soul, but Satan will always find a ground for contention for the body (Jude 1:9). This tells us that the body is important.
3. There was the season of Christ; and the Lord gave us insight into the core nature (constitution) of Christ: faith, hope and charity (1 Cor. 13:13). We also began to see faith, hope and charity as deeds that can be done. These are commandments (1 Tim. 1:5). As we do them, they affect our inward nature; there is a change we come into.
4. Faith is a spirit (2 Cor. 4:13); therefore, it is a law, and so, a law of life in Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:2). Therefore, hope and charity are also spirits, spirits of Christ (Rom. 8:9). As we do these commandments, we are acquiring spirits. Spirits are life portions in Christ. To have the life of Christ, we have to obey Christ, that is, obeying faith as commandment (Rom. 1:5). Without this faith, we would not get to His name.
5. (Ephesians 4:11-12). The Lord Jesus gave the five-fold to achieve God’s aim: teach us Christ. They are teachers and preachers of the life of Christ. Thus, they understand the curriculum called Christ and can pass it as knowledge to the people. Nonetheless, they should not stop at teaching Christ alone, they ought to teach God also.
6. (Ephesians 4:20-21). God can be taught, just like Christ can be taught. You cannot do God if you have not learned Christ. God needs to be done quickly. And to do so, you need to have gathered skill by learning Christ. Christ can be heard. Therefore, God can be heard too. This kind of hearing does not mean hearing a voice like we hear in our spirits, but a hearing of faith, a hearing of the invisible things of God. When we hear faith, we are hearing Christ. To learn Christ, you must have heard Him, and been taught by Him.
7. Being taught by Christ has to do with someone saying Him. “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear…” (Rev. 1:3). You cannot inherit the spirit called Christ unless the spirit leads you to do what you have heard. When you hear, the spirit of what you heard will follow you, to lead you to fulfill the law of Christ.
8. (Ephesians 4:21-22). The truth in Jesus is the life that is in Jesus – the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. When you do this law, it makes you free (1 Cor. 9:1). One who has really seen the Lord Jesus is free from the law of sin and death.
9. (Ephesians 4:23-24). Christ is the new man. The spirit of your mind is the law that runs your mind; let the old law be replaced with the law of Christ. The new man is after God. One who has the spirit of Christ looks for God (Gal. 4:6).
10. With Christ, there is a raising/building (Acts 20:32). When the word of Christ has built you up, the spirit of Christ will enter you. The same thing with God. Now, it is not enough to be raised, you need to get the spirit which will be in you as life. Christ is the righteousness we need, to be able to go after God.
11. (Ephesians 5:1). You can follow God, but this is only possible after following Christ. The essence of following is so that you can become. When you follow Christ, you will become Christ. And when you become Christ, you will look for God. By following Christ, you are converted to become children – those who can now be instructed to follow God. When you have become Christ, become followers of God.
12. (1 Timothy 3:15). Paul taught this church well, such that they graduated from Christ to become a house of God, the church of the living God. A church can be a church of Christ, and a church can be a church of God. These we find in their meal and leading. The church of the living God is the pillar and ground of truth. They have been raised, hence they are candlestick church, because a candlestick is a pillar. “Ground” does not necessarily mean flat ground; a bowl can also be ground. A people have to become ground, a platform for God to give His truth. Ground could also mean mountain – Zion church; there, God can begin to teach His truth and give His life.
13. Anywhere Christ goes, God can come there. God is the God of glory (Col. 1:27). Christ has found His place amongst us, as a people, so God can begin to talk about servants and the prophets. These are things that are hard to be uttered. What we are hearing is the Lord speaking to us and He is jealously guiding everything.
14. In the season of these sayings, it is possible to take them lightly. But we must not, because this is God speaking. His presence is almost always palpable in our meetings, because the things that are being said cannot come forth without Him.
15. Some people get offended at the point of transition because they do not want to journey or mature. The servant of God says what the Lord wants him to say; he ought not to seek to please men. God upgrades him for the people; hence, the people also need to discern him. When the season changes, God’s servant wears another garment, another authority, to speak God’s words.
16. The Lord keeps raising his servant because he is a vessel. The stars that were in the right hand are those to whom the revelation was written to, because they are the ones who can read and they are blessed (Rev. 2:1). “Star” does not merely mean “shinining” or fame; it involves bombardment, sufferings (Jam. 5:10). The ministry of the stars is not an ordinary one; you must have fought stars to be raised a star.
17. ‘Righteousness sake’ means that they speak the name of the Lord. As a prophet, you must be ready for persecution and to be reviled (Matt. 5:10-11). Persecution does not only come from men, but also spirits. Spirits persecuted Paul because of the abundance of the revelation that was given to him.
18. Hearing these things shows to us that we have been chosen, but we have to make our calling and election sure by overcoming every temptation. In the days of doing God, we would hear all manner of accusations. Spirits speak against ministers to derail men from following, but we must not listen, rather, we should focus. Develop a backbone/tough skin against those accusing words.
19. Do not give in to speakings that aim to lure you out of the path. Even some that the devil has used to lure others out of the path may find mercy later to join in the path. So, run your own race.
20. There is a kind of focus the manchild was able to put up in that season of being in the womb, even while the dragon was before the woman. There is nothing you are going through that someone else has not gone through more (Matt. 5:12). The enemy wants you to focus on what you are going through, so that you are not able to run as you ought.
21. (James 5:11). Not everyone would count you happy when you endure temptation, only apostles that understand what you are going through. The book of Job was written for sons, servants and prophets. We would see the end of the Lord, that He is merciful. This is the mercy prepared for those who can endure to the end.
22. (1 Peter 1:9-13). Do not let your mind be loosely guarded, because you have a journey. We want to see the end of the Lord, hence, we must hope to the end, for the grace to be brought to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ. This grace would be received by only those who hope to the end; that is, those who endure to the end. The apostles knew there was a revelation to be brought, though they had the word of God and the testimony; they were prophets. Hence, Peter was encouraging the entire church to hope to the end. It therefore means that if Jesus is not revealed in this manner, this grace would not come.
23. John tarried till Jesus came. The book of revelation is the coming of the Lord. The Lord is coming to us again. All the troubles in Nigeria are because of this. The number of people that have been killed for their faith in Nigeria is much more than anywhere in the world. This is not ordinary; something is in Nigeria.
24. (Revelation 1:1). The revelation of Jesus Christ is what the church had been waiting for. We have been waiting and we will wait till the whole thing is fully unveiled. They are still recruiting “Johns”. “Johns” are waiters in the spirit for the visible manifestation, the unveiling of Jesus amidst His brethren (Heb. 2:12). The Lord will be unveiled in a particular kind of church, the ‘John’ church, the candlestick church; it is a company. Hence the tongue says, “Join John.”
25. The revelation of Jesus Christ is the understanding of Jesus Christ. What we are waiting for is understanding. There is an understanding God gave to Jesus that is kept for all who will wait to the end, and hope for it. It is the understanding of that which has to be done quickly, which is God.
26. (1 John 5:20). This is an understanding of a Person – Him that is true. This understanding is a high understanding. We would be able to think, see and reason as Jesus does. This understanding is what makes Him sit. It is how Jesus resolves matters that has made Him not give up on us. This is the understanding that enabled Jesus to do the will of God. Jesus finished the volume of the book – doing the “O God” will. And you need the “O God” understanding to do this will.
27. There are rewards hanging for those who will do will (Rev. 1:3). There is something the book is holding that has to be done—God. To keep is to do. The essence of the revelation is for us to do His will. This is the whole duty of man. If we can do the will that Jesus did, the job is finished.
Blessings!
