When we got born again, we still had the ability to live for ourselves. This is why the Holy Ghost fights the warfare of collecting our lives. If we do not deny that life, we will live for ourselves - our ambitions, and aspirations (Luke 9:23). Our lives are seeds, we can either sow it to the flesh or the spirit.

There is an attitude that is required for carrying the seed of the sower, which is the word of faith. The presence of fear and trembling in the heart is the evidence that a soul has the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. The way to keep commandment is to delight in it, which is possible when the heart comes into a state where the commandment is not grievous. Satan can come against the seed that is planted in us through men, we must be watchful in the spirit and guard our hearts with all diligence.

The Son is declared to one who has kept faith with the doctrine of Christ. He that has the doctrine of Christ has both the Son and the Father (2 John 1:9). The incorruptible seed wants to place a yoke on our necks. It is also referred to as “the new commandment”. and by it one would pass from death to life, and the darkness in our midst will be dealt with. The essence of God giving us light in this manner is so that we can see clearly and deny our present states. A person who is coming after the Lord is one who is taking the Lord’s yoke upon him.

There is something God proposed in Christ our Lord, which is Eternal Life. For the cause of God's eternal purpose, Paul prayed for the Church. The burden of Paul was to make men see what is the fellowship of the mystery. There is no other way we can embody the doctrine of everlasting life except we make prayers, supplication, and intercession. The Father wants to make His dwelling place in us, but there are processes to this.

The ten cities which the first servant had authority over in the parable of the talents are an allegory to describe a level of life (because life is authority) and that life is everlasting life (Luke 19:17). It is possible to sow Christ to the flesh. We can use Christ for ourselves because there will come a time when we will be required to lay down our lives, that is, the Christ we have as life (Col. 3:4). If we sow to the spirit (Christ), we will by the spirit (Christ) reap everlasting life.

A spiritually minded believer always guns for life, and seeks out occasions to trap life. One instrument we need to win the warfare of this season is discernment of sin and death. And in many of such warfare, we have to lose (in the natural), as it is by doing so that we truly gain (in the spirit). Whenever there is a reaction of death from men, his response is life because he has been equipped with commandments of God.

Whatever we are going through, we can sleep like babies if we can take our eyes off ourselves and the situations but keep our eyes on the promise. Our eyes were created to be placed on the promise. In the Old and New Testaments, God used afflictions and contradictions to raise people. The expectation of the righteous is to come into everlasting righteousness. There is no warfare we cannot win if our eyes are on these words, that was the secret of the Hebrews 11 saints.

We must learn to place the right premium on salvation and esteem the process of it despite the reproach. The reproach is not and should not be as real as God is. Therefore, we have to yield to the manner in the season of everlasting life. We have to understand the signs of this season. If we do not understand the signs, we would violate the rules of the spirit.

A testament without the death of the testator will make the testament of non-effect (Heb. 9:16). If the testator has to die for the testament to be of effect, you cannot carry the testament without possessing some level of death. You can see the beauty of weakness in the spirit. There is a measure of weakness that God is demanding of us in this season of everlasting life. It is when it comes to this fear and trembling that some will become ashamed.
