For God to take us to the next level, He has to take what we love. This is so that nothing in our hearts would compete with Him. Abraham sacrificed Isaac in his heart; he gave him up in his heart. This shows that what God is looking out for is the heart. God judges the heart. If we serve the Lord without our full hearts, we would not obtain the promise.

What we call sin is an understanding of a way of life. There is a way that seems right but the end is destruction (Prov. 14:12). The devil does not describe it to us as something that is destructive but as something that is right. This also tells us that sin is a form of righteousness. If it does not seem right, we will not keep it.

We learnt these philosophies and vain deceit, so also, we learn what will bring us above them. These philosophies have their own material and they are part of the elements that will be burnt up. So anyone whose hope is in them will be burnt with these things. When the scripture describes that elements will be burnt, we should not just think that houses will collapse because houses already collapse with natural disasters like earthquakes. Instead, it is the things that frame this world, that rules this world — the understanding that gives Satan the power to stay in the air that will be burnt up. But in the day of the coming of the Son of God, They are going to give certain meats to people to be able to grow above the elements.

The inheritance is not just the Holy Spirit, for He is the down-payment of our inheritance (Eph. 1:14). Given that the Holy Spirit who is among the Creators is the down-payment of our inheritance, it means that the rest of our inheritance would also be the Creators (the Son and the Father). This means that having the seal of the Holy Spirit is only a portion of our salvation; it is not complete. This is because the soul still needs to be redeemed.

The Son of God will not need to come if all He wants to give are precepts. He comes so that we can know Him that is true and there is an understanding He needs to grant unto us (1 John 5:20). This has to do with knowing Persons; but we cannot know His Person without commandments. Commandments are spirits; they quicken us and frame our souls to know the Lord.

God cannot fully open up Himself to us because He would be too frightening to us. Therefore, He has to do it according to the measure of our growth. We often think of God in a certain way, whereas He is the direct opposite. As long as we are children, He will keep giving us what we understand. When God is coming, He has started giving us an understanding (1 John 5:20).

The church belongs to Jesus, no pastor can claim ownership of the church (Math. 26:18). It is Jesus' church and the people are His flock; so they are members of His household and what God expects in the household is that food will be available (1 Tim. 5:8).

When the Spirit tells us what is right, meekness is needed so we do not struggle. To accept what is truly right can be humbling to a soul. For change to occur in us, we must accept that which He says is right. Doing the righteousness that is in Christ raises us. When our sins are deleted, we are raised.

The work of the Father is the work of raising Jesus as a Son. The Church is yet to know the import of the Son of God like evil spirits do know. They know that if God can work and raise a Son, it is saying that the kingdom of God is come. It is saying that the eternal dream of God is taking shape and God is about to be embodied.
