The first Adam and the last Adam had their striking differences but also had things in common. The first Adam was made a living soul while the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. The first Adam, by reason of his frame, could have dominion over the works of God’s hands because they were things from which he was made. Adam was made a little lower than the angels and the world to come was not given to him to have dominion over. The world to come is a promise for the man that will overcome.

It may interest you to know that the first owner and the first being to preach the gospel was God (Rom. 1:1) and His first audience was Adam (Gen. 2:16-17). Unfortunately, the same disobedience that has become a norm today was what limited Adam from experiencing the divine life/eternal power of God’s Gospel which was packaged in the tree of life (Gen. 2:9c/Jn. 6:53/Rev. 22:2).

The demand of the hour is that we heighten our obedience. The agenda of God is being made so clear so that we would neither run with uncertainty nor fight as one who beats the air (1 Cor. 9:26) but walk circumspectly as wise (Eph 5:15) and end up in the right destination. One of the clear instructions that have been handed over to us this year is to do the will of God on earth as it is done in heaven. Jesus, in teaching the disciples how to pray, taught them how not to pray. We are not to pray as orphans or the heathen knowing fully well that God cares about our needs.

Prophetic characters can be very interesting. For instance, there is such an accurate parallel between the descent of Jonah and his prayer in the belly of the fish with the prayers of Jesus in Hell. The prayer of Jesus prevailed from Hell to the highest height of heaven and, by reason of this, the glory of the Father went to Hell. The day the glory of the Father raised Jesus from the dead, Hell lost its potency and dread. It was not only the body of Jesus that was raised; He was raised in His spirit, soul and body because death ravaged those compartments. This is according to the prophecy of scriptures that says He was made an offering for sin (Isaiah 53:10)

What was stolen from man through disobedience, was an understanding that once made Adam the King of the earth (Ps. 8:4-8; 82:5). What man (i.e. you and I) should have attained unto had Adam disobeyed the devil or obeyed the commandments God gave him, was an understanding packaged in the tree of life (1Jn. 5:20). What reduced Nebuchadnezzar from being the greatest king on earth into a beast that would live in the forest for seven years, was that his understanding was withdrawn. What informs the reign of sin in men is a darkened understanding, and what informs a reign (dominion) over sin, is an enlightened understanding (Dan. 4:30-34, Eph. 4:18). In like manner, what has limited many believers (till date) from coming into a spiritual understanding of the actual faith of the New Testament, is their inability to selflessly use the word that can only introduces righteousness (i.e. the milk of faith), as a leverage to embrace the actual word that teaches or unveils (God’s) righteousness; i.e. the word of righteousness (Heb. 5:12-13).

There are certain scriptures meant for specific seasons and they will not open until the time appointed. The scripture is not a mere book; it is a work of spirits that will not grant men access until the time for it has come.

I perceive strongly that this Convention is a double feast because the High Priest is coming with a double operation. This double operation is a feast of both Christ and God. The day of God that we are coming into is the day of the judgment of the accuser of the brethren.

The gospel which is the Lord’s tidings has its own affliction. There is a difference between hearing the gospel and partaking in it.

Salvation is an inheritance to be obtained. The glory of God can only be found in salvation. No one can touch the glory of God without first coming into salvation.
