Coming Into Full Assurance of Understanding

Topic: Coming into Full Assurance of Understanding
Transcript Summary
- While waiting in the spirit for directions concerning how the meetings in EGFM should start this year, one thing that kept sticking out in my spirit was thanksgiving. It is important for us to know that what lies ahead of us is more than what we have enjoyed hitherto. Although God’s servant, Reverend Kayode Oyegoke, has been preaching for about 30 years now, what we are coming into presently will bring better clarity and alignment to things, even to the level of the milk of the word.
- There is a wave that is already building in the spirit. Witnesses of this message are coming. As this message of so-great salvation is being preached, witnesses of this message will arise. We are living in the finest time of this message; we will be able to see it from this height to the milk level of the word. It is a progressive work and not a disjointed work. Hence, it is important for us to stay together.
- We should appreciate the season that we are in now. God did not allow the apostles to write epistles until when the understanding of incorruption and salvation had come. Even when an epistle emphasises Christ, they wrote it with the understanding of everlasting life. During the time of the book of Acts, the teaching of salvation was not the major emphasis; rather, the emphasis was the death and resurrection of Jesus, and the Kingdom.
- Jesus taught everlasting life and Eternal Life when He was on the earth because He was teaching the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God. The kingdom of heaven is everlasting life, the kingdom of God is Eternal Life; that was the tail end of the ministry of Jesus Christ. This is why Jesus taught to pray saying, “…Our Father which art in heaven…Thy kingdom come.” (Matt. 6:9-10). That is the everlasting kingdom. The message of everlasting life can only thrive when living souls begin to rise.
- The apostles were majorly teaching in churches and did not start writing the epistles until the season that they had a clear-cut understanding of what Jesus Christ taught in the days of His flesh. There are still a lot of breakthroughs even in alignment to the dispensation of the Holy Ghost that we are going to come into. There are still a lot of things that are in there that we need the light of the Son of God, the everlasting light, to be able to see.
- (Acts 2:17, Matt. 3:11). Peter taught about the infilling of the Holy Ghost, but John the Baptist spoke about the baptism with the Holy Ghost. John the baptist was a burning and a shining light. So he was in the everlasting order; it started with burning and then he came into shining. ‘Shining’ means that he has moved into the season of the living.
- Baptism with the Holy Ghost and fire (Matt. 3:11) is different from the infilling of the Holy Ghost that we received at New Birth (Acts 2:17). The baptism with the Holy Ghost and fire is a soul baptism. We cannot see these things except by the everlasting light which helps us to align them.
- We need to give thanks to the Father, for we are in a season where we are having access to the secrets in the Son of God and are fellowshipping with the thoughts, ways, and judgments which are all records of God in the Son of God.
- It is also worthy of thanksgiving that a generation is coming into this same advent of the Son of God which the Apostles wrote of and experienced. This will give us a better understanding and interpretation of what they wrote.
- Sons of God arose in records of John – 1 John 3:2, Paul – Philippians 2:15, and also in Genesis – Genesis 6:2. But Satan came after all of them. Paul referred to some as ‘sons of God in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation where they shine’ (Phil 2:15). This is what we will be experiencing in the years ahead. It is therefore important that we know this so that we can detect when Satan is talking to us and remain blameless.
- Jesus taught about being the light of the world in Matthew 5:14-15 and it became a reality in the days of the Apostles. This is similar to what John said about the candlestick churches in the book of Revelations (Rev. 2:5). A candlestick is a ‘Zion church’. Those churches were called golden candlesticks (Rev. 2:1) because they had found a place on Zion.
- Jesus was also described in a similar way in the book of Psalms – “Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.” (Psa. 2:6). But Jesus is not alone on the Holy Hill. A church that has risen to Zion has joined the Anointed One on the hill of Zion. This Holy Hill is an everlasting hill of Zion; that is the blessing of the Father.
- As seen in Genesis, there are four blessings of the Father; the blessing of heaven above, blessings that lie underneath, blessing of the breast, and of the womb (Gen. 49:25). These are the blessings in everlasting life. They are the blessings that abound on the hill.
- We are now experiencing the days of the golden candlestick church in our generation. It may be difficult to believe because we are only a few but if we believe it, we will have a disposition that would cause our problems and anxiety to cease.
- (2 Pet. 1:14). The prayers of God’s servant, Reverend Kayode Oyegoke, about the healing move, healing wave, and the things about the body can be likened to what John and Peter came into, when they survived the adverse conditions they faced. The reason is that when we move into such zones, the body behaves differently from the way it previously did. Sicknesses and diseases cannot afflict such a body. This was common to those who believed and followed with their hearts.
- “With long life will I satisfy him, And shew him my salvation.” (Psalm 91:16). This is what happens when one goes into the day of salvation. But when we consider lying vanities, we will not give our hearts to these things; we would rather pay attention to the distractions around us. But we should be men who are strong and cast aside weights, for Satan wants men to faint.
- This is not the first time the Church is near the close of the age. Amidst these churches on the earth, sons of God were rising already. How we know we have arrived at this season is by the amount of light that is coming, which was not previously available. Thus, we must be meek because it takes a fool to journey to this point.
- (Colossians 2:2). There cannot be full assurance without full understanding. The Apostles were not permitted to write epistles until the season of full assurance of understanding. In the things of the Kingdom, we can move from understanding as a child to understanding as a man. Thus, our understanding is becoming full.
- (Hebrews 6:11-12). We have come into a season where we should be inheriting promises of life at different levels – the promise of incorruptible, the promise of undefiled, the promise of unfading away and the promise of Eternal Life. There is what we ought to tackle and war with to get our reward as we keep obeying. Therefore, you cannot just remain at a state where we are only desiring these things.
- (Mark 9:43-47). The hand, foot and eyes could mean different things, like bodily sickness or a spouse giving you trouble. But when the Bible says we should enter with that hand that is cut off, it means to see that problem as though it is not there. This is because we do not know the day the Lord wants to visit. It is through much tribulation you enter the kingdom (Acts 14:22). When you understand the devil, you are able to fight your war and win your wars (Luke 10:41-42).
Blessings!
