Transcript Excerpt

“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; [2] A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.” (Hebrews 8:1-2). Our Lord Jesus is a Minister of the Sanctuary; He is a Minister of a programme of rest. He works to bring us into two-fold rest, and when He fulfills this, His ministry would have been completed. We would then work in the light of the understanding that 1 John 5:20 speaks concerning. This understanding is meant to help us generate a particular walk that we previously lacked. Another word for that understanding is a ‘walk’.

“They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.” (Psalm 82:5). When we come into more understanding, our walk will change. God wants to upgrade our walk in Believers’ Convention 2024; He wants to cause us to walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7). The Minister of the Sanctuary raised the Hebrew church. However, He is both the Minister of the Sanctuary and the true Tabernacle (Heb. 8:2).

As the Minister of the true Tabernacle, He wants to make known the living and true God by taking men from the Sanctuary and ministering things that would enable them to attain a rest that they did not previously attain. He wants to minister things that will bring us to the beginning—to the place of the ark. The ark is the symbol of rest. The Lord coming to us is to bring us to where He is. God wants to raise ark-men—men who have rested.

Apostle Paul knew there was a great temptation for the Hebrew church to rest (not move forward) after becoming holy brethren – the estate of everyone who has received ministration from the Minister of the Sanctuary. The holy brethren become a Sanctuary or a temple for the Lord, but that is not all. The Lord seeks a rest, and when He eventually finds a resting place in our souls, the journey for the Lord Almighty (the Father) to rest should also begin. This is why souls have to journey from the profiting of the life in the doctrine of Christ to come to the profiting of the life that is in the doctrine of the Son and of the Father.

The profiting of both doctrines are two kinds of rest. However, it is when we partake of the last rest that we have made it to the place of the ark. We are actually ark-men (in the making). It will be said of us that we are one of those many sons who have been brought into glory. This last rest is characterized by conversations of glory that we saw in the life of Jesus at Jordan.

The reason Jesus could respond to Satan and defeat him was because He had thoughts of someone who had lived and come into glory. The writings of Hebrews 8 and 10 had found their way into His heart, so He was responding from His heart because He had writings and nature. He had come into an estate of rest; that was why He could pick the thoughts in the heart of the Father to respond to a father of lies. The emphasis in the house is of those who have come to the last veil and into the estate of rest—the place of being delivered from the cares of this world and their former conversations. Our former conversation was what burdened us from making progress because it was a contrary commandment. Faith is a commandment and sin is also a commandment.

This world is a commandment that we kept and it informed our former conversations. It made us scattered amongst nations. While we kept that commandment (sin), we basically were keeping idols because it is by commandments that you keep a life. The minister of the Sanctuary has been able to bring us into a womb. The Sanctuary is a womb. John 3 talks about what takes place to bring us into that womb—which talks about how a soul will be washed by the water and the spirit. These are what take place in the womb and sanctuary of Christ.

“Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently…” (1 Peter 1:22). These believers were in the womb of Christ. The Holy Ghost has His womb. When a believer has tarried in that womb and has gone through the trimesters, such believer becomes what is described in Ephesians 1:15. “Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints…” This is a believer who has profited from the womb of the Holy Ghost. This believer has been christened and has the name of the Holy Ghost.

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise…” (Ephesians 1:13). Every time we go through all the trimesters of the Persons of the Godhead, we experience a sealing. 1 Peter 1 describes our estate, what happened when we were in the womb of Christ in preparation for the womb of the Father.

“Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently…” (1 Peter 1:22). In every womb, there is an activity of purification taking place, an activity of separation, so that we can walk a walk and end in God. This is the truth that is in Christ, that separates us from every fleshly identity that we once had. ‘Unto unfeigned love’ is when a believer has completed the birth cycle. The expected day of delivery is when a believer who has profited with the seal of the Holy Ghost will be sealed with the name of Christ. Here, such a believer bears forth another fruit. The journey is to go from this womb to another womb. The courts and the tabernacle are wombs to bring us to the beginning.

Jesus as the minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle, ministers things to bring souls into rest. You can know the measure of unrest in a soul, how gathered or scattered it is, by checking his breath and where it is coming from. Our Lord Jesus is a minister of rest. But in this season, He wants to bring us into an edition of rest. The reason we experience His comings is because some people are already bidding Him come by keeping His commandments, but there is a crucial number that must keep these commandments. It is not sufficient for our parents (set-men and pastors) alone to keep these commandments.

Some saw the nature of those sons who are being brought into glory – sons who are experiencing mercy to know not just the living God but also the true God. One word describes those kinds of children and this word is explaining the death they will die; the word is ‘vulnerable’. To be vulnerable is to be weak. There was a measure of weakness in the sanctuary, in the womb of Christ, that will bring a soul to the last veil where he has the covenant of life and peace and can relate with his past with peace until he is separated.

When the Father stands like He did before the Hebrew church in Hebrews 12, bringing chastening their way, it is to introduce believers into another threshold of rest or into another expression of weakness. Our Lord Jesus kept being crucified until the crucifixion on the cross. What made Him surrender to the cross was a wholesale weakness. He lived being vulnerable before the Father. His relationship with His earthly parents was that of being vulnerable. When you see a child who struggles to be vulnerable, he has become an adult. He is gaining another age called sin and death which is what the womb of Christ deals with.

There are some potentials in us, tendencies in us not to be vulnerable, and that is what the gospel of God wants to empower us to do. The first man who knew what it was to be vulnerable was Adam. The Bible said that he was naked and not ashamed which means that he was vulnerable at a season before he heard words and took thoughts and began to despise that provision. This nakedness was not just a physical nakedness but a nakedness of the soul. When a man is vulnerable before his wife, he will have the liberty to say some things. This is because he delights in his being little. He can see how the Lord Jesus related with the Father and handled His will.

One of the fruits of the ministration of the word of righteousness can be traced to strong homes which stem from what we see in our parents in the faith. Out of the brokenness of God’s servant and how God led him, we have seen conversations and works. This is how God wants to lead us so that we can get to where they have gotten to in presence. The works of Jesus were what the disciples saw; they saw how vulnerable He was before the Father. Anointing did not redefine His status or change the way He walked. The more anointed He became, the more humble He became. Being quick to sincerely apologize is being vulnerable.

When you come to the place of service, what they want to check is how vulnerable you are – how you can relate like you have no will. There is something in man that the Lord wants to crucify in that womb called the Most Holy place.

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:13). To do all to stand is to journey from faith through hope to charity. The first time a believer has a stand is after walking by faith through the sanctuary; after walking against the course of this world he stands at the last veil. When the peace in Christ is the norm, then one is standing by faith. Such a one is now a soldier of Christ and can now be equipped with the whole armor of God and prepare him to become an exceeding great army. Who God wants to raise is an exceedingly great army and God has to equip them again so they can stand again. There are two stands, one at the last veil and another in 2 Peter 1:8. The Son of God is coming so we can have this standing, which is the standing in God’s presence.

“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall…” (2 Peter 1:10). You shall stand because you will have an abundant entrance into the everlasting kingdom administered to you, meaning you will have the understanding that accompanies the coming of the Son of the living and the true God. Moses was not ordinary because he was standing in presence, hence an angel of the Most Holy was tied to Him. He was the meekest man on earth, he had the everlasting life of earth. They want to upgrade our stand; to as many who have made the covenant of life and peace, they want to give the everlasting covenant so they can stand again. That journey is the journey to the womb. The way we partook of all things that pertains to life and godliness, we would now partake of all things of the Father. The minister of the true tabernacle wants to give all things of the Father to remit sins that were not previously remitted when we journeyed to the last veil.

It is another season of being vulnerable again. In the chapters preceding Hebrews 11, it was to those who have journeyed to the last veil who were holy brethren, who were meant to obtain a New Testament edition of good report, and thereby obtain the promise. This is how you are going to obtain everlasting life.

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:38). In the time where the Father of spirits is chastening us, we would live again. That chastening is where they would instruct us to relate with our will the way the Lord Jesus did. When you hear a thought contrary to the thought in your spirit, it is spirits speaking through their nature that are yet to be remitted in you. These thoughts come from within, not without.

The process of surrendering one’s right is the process of being vulnerable. You grow up by going down, that is, by surrendering rights. When you hold onto your rights, you are holding onto your sins. When we do the things we are instructed, we own that judgment and find liberty in our spirits.

By journeying, we have an identity of those little ones who are little in our own eyes. But there is still an obedience to fulfill and for this reason, the Son is appearing to empower us to carry out that obedience. The journey from the last veil to the ark is the journey of those who have become little in their own eyes, who want to be nobody in their own eyes. It is the journey wherein we will perfect holiness or the art of being vulnerable. That was Jesus’ trade secret, how He made Himself of no reputation, and became nothing in His own eyes (Philipp. 2:7). When the minister of the true tabernacle comes, this is how He will raise us to be true because this is how Jesus under the Holy Ghost was raised to be true. Many things we have not surrendered are what have kept us in the estate of remaining little children. If we are going to be Fathers and stand in presence, it must also be our trade secret.

In the course of service, one thing that the Lord schools us in is in being vulnerable. One way we would get that right is to open up communication lines. If brotherly love will abound in our midst, we will condescend in communication. Iniquity is hiding in our arrangement. Coming lower is the way up.

Rounding Off: Reverend Kayode Oyegoke

The key in this ministration is being little. We gain the Kingdom more when we become little. All the laws in the kingdom are laws of being little. It is from one little dimension to another till you become the littlest. The child of the eternal kingdom that sat on the throne was from the womb. His junior brother in the spirit could not walk on the leg, a woman was carrying him (Rev. 12:5). The way to the throne of God is that you must be an infant. It is not talking about biological birth, it is referring to the law of the state of the baby being born. The closer you get to God, the less of your strength you use. Your strength will be collected from you. When Adam was born in the garden, he was doing nothing more than tending the garden. But Satan has thrown us into stress and the stress has become our glory, and we think that such life/estate is a life of elevation. Satan has deceived the whole world. The things of God are opposite the way we think. The closer we are to God, the more your strength diminishes, the weaker you become.

Blessings!
