The Constitution of the Heavenly Man (The Divine Mind)

  Transcript Summary

1. In Hebrews 7:1-3, we see the order for anyone who wants to break into the veil (the path Jesus also undertook). Hebrews 4:14 made it clear that passing into the heavens is a journey Jesus undertook. He ascended into the heavens by changing His nature and accruing life while He was on the earth.

2. (1 Corinthians 15:47; John 3:11-12). There is a life of Christ that is earthly. Jesus while speaking with Nicodemus in John 3:11 made reference to these things. These are the things (of the earth, earthy) that make up the first man (Adam), and they are things we can also come into. However, they are encapsulated in the giving of His knowledge. When you are made to see these things and they are being given, life is being transferred—it alters your personality and changes your stand as you journey further.

3. Jesus came into the life of those things called the earthly things. Earthly things here are not carnal; they are spiritual. Peradventure your eyes are opened to see the spiritual dimension of the earth, you would be so fearful. There is a whole lot around us; the earth is beyond just what you are seeing. Many have concluded the earth and tied it to our five senses. But the earth, even though earthy, is spiritual. To be spiritual is not to be spooky; it is a state (in God).

4. (John 3:12; 1 John 1:1). We become testimonies of what has become life in us. It is a witness that can testify. You are not a witness if a thing has not become life in you. Jesus had both earthly things and heavenly things, which are life. Even the word “natural” has been misunderstood. If heaven is natural with us, then it has become a nature within me – it is not strange with me. If it has become a nature, it has become a life. Heavenly things can become natural with you. Jesus can declare to you both earthly things and heavenly things. By being the resurrected Lord, He is a man of the heaven. A divine man is a heavenly man. It means you will not see His true operation until you come to heavenly things.

5. (Acts 10:38). Jesus has the earthly dimension of His Person, which is not limited to healing the sick; it is also powerful with doctrine, spirit and life. Nobody has the kind of authority with which Jesus speaks because it stems from the life He is living. There is a meekness of the earth with which Moses became the meekest man on the earth, but our Lord Jesus had a heavenly and earthly meekness. Jesus’ mind was highly separated such that even a teacher of the law could not comprehend his sayings (John 3:4). The things of the earth constitute the life of Christ here on earth. In other words, the way God would have lived if He were here on earth was what Jesus lived. The Father taught Him everything He said and instructed Him on how to live.

6. The earthly things are to separate man from carnal things. This is how they can reach a man who is already flesh. What is ruling man are the vain things of the earth. So, how to separate man from vain things is to speak to Him the spiritual things of the earth. But although Jesus has these things, who He is in His real state is more of the heavenly things.

7. There are ministers who are very high in the spiritual earthly things beautifully and with authority, but that is not all about the Bible. There is an allocation of the heavenly that has been given to us and we must use it well. This is not because we are better than anyone; it is mercy. What we are called to partake of is what Jesus also came into while He was on earth, not just when He resurrected. Jesus had both the earthly and heavenly dimension of things—He was both Son of man and Son of God. His state as a Son of God is the state of a divine man. Nonetheless, He knew how to manage the two dimensions—with all meekness and lowliness. God would raise sons who are like Him in this end times.

8. (Matthew 13:52). When you are instructed by the Kingdom of heaven, you can hold the earth and the heaven. The earth and heaven were created to operate together; one is head the other is the body. It was sin that divorced heaven and earth; that was the first divorce. Heaven was the husband and earth was the wife. They were together and the earth was having heavenly touch. Heaven was kissing the earth, and the earth could bear the weight of heaven. The earth represented heaven. Adam was earth in his nature and he still represented heaven such that he was said to be a little lower than the angels (Heb. 2:7). What we currently have on earth right now is hell, even lower than hell because men have begun to journey to ‘lake’.

9. (John 3:12). If you cannot discern, access earthly things in your thoughts, you will not be able to understand heavenly things because it will be too high for you. One of the things that the Lord did is that He had to first of all raise us from being carnal, vain, earthly to become the earth of Christ so that He can give us things that lead to the opening of the divine man. The essence of the present-day priestly ministry of Jesus Christ is to make divine personalities in the Church—to make the Church heavenly.

10. There is the church that is earthly and the church that is heavenly (Heb. 12:22). Mount Zion is heavenly because it is the city of the living God. So that is the first city of the living God—the beginning of heavenly life. You firstly become the city of the living God and then you go forward to become the city of the true God. This shows us that there is more than one heaven. Heaven of the heavens is “The Lord thy God”.

11. (1 Timothy 3:15). There is a way you ought to behave. You cannot behave well if you do not have things of the order of the heavens. You may have behaved in another order that is lower than the heavens. You would think you are behaving well but you are breaking laws. In the book of Hebrew, Apostle Paul was telling them that they need to know where they are—“You have come to mount Zion” (Heb. 12.22). The essence of heavenly things being spoken to us is so that we can behave well and be properly cultured.

12. (Hebrews 7:1-2). The word “first” refers to the order. “First being by interpretation King of righteousness, after that, also, King of Salem, which is King of peace”. In other words, in passing the heavens, he has to fulfil righteousness and when he has finished righteousness, then he comes to peace.

13. These are things which they have to give to you and make you see. These are wondrous things, like the Psalmist said, “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” (Ps. 119:18). So there are heavenly things and there are earthly things. There are things out of the law that if your eyes can be open to see them, know them and be helped to do them, you will change.

14. There is a city called righteousness in the realm of the spirit; that is the city of the living God. That is the same city Abraham was looking for; a city with foundation, whose builder and maker is God, the world wherein dwelleth righteousness (Heb. 11:10; 2 Pet. 3:13). This righteousness is everlasting righteousness.

15. The order of Melchizedec is the order of the heavenly man. The earth also has its righteousness and its peace; meaning that the kind of life earth should have is according to what is right in the sight of God. This new heaven has its righteousness and this new earth has its righteousness just as the present earth has its righteousness and the present heavens also has its righteousness. The kind of righteousness in the Melchisedec order is a kind of righteousness that has been in God who made all things; it is not something that originated from the earth.

16. (Hebrews 7:17). The Melchisedec order cannot be a low order because God cannot be making the Son after an order that is lower than what the Son has become by nature. For the Lord to swear about it (Ps. 110:4), it means that it is something immutable. It is in a state where it cannot move, because if it were of the present, both the present heaven and earth can be moved, they cannot remain; but this order has been forever and is an order that is consecrated by oath (Heb. 7:28).

17. The order of Melchisedec is the order of God. It is the order of God’s priesthood—unchangeable divinity. It cannot be corrupted, thwarted, or changed. One who comes into this order cannot change. It is an order that has been and our Lord Jesus came into it.

18. King of righteousness and King of peace are the first two throngs of the ladder to “Priest of the Most High God” or  the “Son of God”. Priests do not sit down in the Most Holy Place and kings do not enter the Most Holy Place, but the kind of King that He is, is a priest. He is a priest with dominion. So He is a priest that entered into the Most Holy and sat down; that is a ministry on its own. When Aaron enters into the Holy Place, he has to be careful. In fact there is no seat there. So how did this our Priest find a seat? This shows to us that this is a totally different order. It means there is actually a seat there but because of the kind of priesthood Aaron had, he is not allowed to sit.

19. The seat in the Most Holy is the mercy seat; it is with this seat the High Priest was able to access mercy for us. That is why He is called the merciful and faithful High Priest (Heb. 2:17). A priest with kingly dominion. Kings can execute, while priests offer. He is not just officiating sacrifices and offerings to God but He is also executing judgement for us. When a man has come into the real priestly duty or the heavenly ministry of Jesus, what he has come into is a divine man. A divine man can both offer and execute.

20. (Revelation 11:3-5). One of the things the two olive trees (witnesses) had to do was to finish their testimony. The power that will be given to them is a kingly power. The two olive trees are holy ones, they are priests. They came from the Most Holy, they are not sanctuary beings. To be an olive is to be from the Most Holy. These olive ones are high priests with dominion. They can officiate and also execute (judge). They are kings.

21. (Revelation 11:6-7). To be a divine man, you do not have your own will. The will is something that has been worked inside of you. Your will is in synchrony with heaven. When you are willing, it is heaven willing naturally. When you think, it is heaven thinking. When you speak, it is heaven speaking. This kind of men are dangerous.

22. (Revelation 11:8,11). The spirit of life from God, not from the Lord entered into them because they finished their testimony. Their lives were an offering. Jesus finished His testimony and then died. And after three and a half days, He resurrected. This is because the Spirit of life, which is the Spirit of glory, entered into Him and made Him rise. That is resurrection, and a type of that order.

23. The Priest of the Most High is the Son of God. Melchisedec was made like unto the Son of God (Heb. 7:3). This means Melchisedec has been. When scripture refers to the Son of God in that context, it also refers to Him as having no genealogy. Anyone who is born into this order will be like Melchisedec. The Melchisedec order or the divine man is not shown to us merely for admiration but for us to become as He is. Jesus became a heavenly man for us (Heb. 7:26). He did it to save us, but the salvation is not complete until we become exactly what He became. The essence of His work on the cross—the true ministry of the High Priest—would not be fulfilled if we do not become like Him.

24. The reason for Jesus’ death on the cross was to regenerate our spirits. The purpose of the cross is not primarily to take us to heaven—because people had gone to heaven before He Jesus died on the cross. The essence of the cross is to quicken our spirits so that work can begin. The real work is to make us like Him. The real reason for the cross is to begin another race, another species of beings after the order of Christ. To see who we really are, we need to see Him as He is. We need to see what He became, which is what constitutes the divine nature.

25. (Hebrews 1:1-3). The High Priest is seated. When a king wants to speak, he locates his throne and he sits to speak. Our Lord is the High Priest who has a kingly dominion, He has a seat and He can speak. He ministers to us by speaking (Heb. 12:25). The speaking of our Lord from heaven is the exercise of His priestly ministry, after the order of Melchisedec. It is the giving of heavenly things and His true ministry is exercised in His speaking of heavenly things. Jesus would still use men to speak, but we need to discern His voice.

26. The reason for the admonition in Hebrews 12:25 is because the Lord is going to speak through vessels we are likely to ignore. If we can ignore them, then we can also ignore God. Melchisedec was such a vessel because of the level of his meekness. Righteousness, peace, and priest of the Most High God are all levels of meekness. Such a person would probably look despicable.

27. (Hebrews 12:26–28). It is what comes from His voice that will shake our earth. Every man has earth and heaven. If one’s earth does not have heaven, it cannot accommodate hell, because hell is an inverted heaven. If our souls have heaven, then He will shake the “heavenly hellish” things within. The kingdom that cannot be shaken is what He is ministering with His voice. The Kingdom is life, it is the real Kingdom. Melchisedec, a kingly priest, is a kind of dominion that cannot be shaken. That is what our Lord has (Isa. 9:7)

28. The things we have been hearing are heavenly things. This is because the allocation we have been given is heaven. It is given by words that convey things. Souls receive life by words, in the same way souls can receive death by words. Words convey life; they convey spirit. He who speaks from above is speaking words that convey His things, which would change us to become like He is—a heavenly man and a divine man.

29. Satan would deceive men to fight the Lord and His holy people by convincing them that they are not dying; but we reign in life. This does not require having men to reign over. An example is Melchisedec, who reigns over life. In the 1,000 year reign, men will see life. They will see heaven on earth—heavenly men whom they will not be able to deny. We are knocking at a door of great value.

Blessings!
