The Power of God’s Dominion

Transcript Summary
1. It is clear that this year’s Convention will be a season and meeting of power. There will be a ministry and convocation of power. It is an unveiling and a revelation of the power of God.
2. (Colossians 1:1-9). The churches of Colosse and Ephesus started almost on the same note. Despite their faith in Jesus and love towards the saints (Eph. 1:15; Col. 1:4), they were not filled with the knowledge of His will (Eph. 1:17; Col. 1:9). This means the Holy Ghost can bring some revelations that are not spiritual—revelations of things that are lesser than the revelation of Christ. The Holy Ghost can bring some kind of understanding, but they are not spiritual and will not enlighten the eye of a believer.
3. (Colossians 1:9). As believers, we need to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual understanding. This understanding is very necessary for us to be made entire and complete, but it is still a missing thing in many of us. It is not all understanding that is spiritual, and it is not all understanding that gives one an eye to see the Kingdom. Every eye that is open should see the Kingdom. The inability of a believer to see the Kingdom means such a one does not yet have a full eye. There is no other kingdom destined for a believer outside the kingdom of Christ and of God (Eph. 5:5).
4. (Ephesians 5:5). The Kingdom starts from Christ. Any kingdom below Christ is not the kingdom of God. There are privileges and lesser dominions in the Holy Ghost found in ministries, but the dominion of the kingdom of God starts with Christ. The real definition of dominion comes with the giving of an understanding of the spiritual.
5. The kingdom of heaven does not only refer to the kingdom from a heavenly dimension, but a kingdom that came from heaven—the kingdom to come. The kingdom to come is two dominions: the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of earth. The kingdoms are trapped in heaven, so they need to come, after which they will find their place among those who have received them. When kingdomneers come together, we will know who among them are of earth and those who are of heaven. Jesus brought a Kingdom; His message is a Kingdom.
6. (Luke 18:18; Mark 10:17; Matthew 19:20-23). The rich young ruler came for dominion. He was looking for Eternal Life. There is no kingdom without life and there is no life without a kingdom. So dominion is the housing of life, which means entering into the Kingdom is entering into Jesus’ life. The rich young ruler had some understanding but not to the extent of entering the Kingdom; the power of money and influence was the dominion he had.
7. (Mark 1:4-5; Luke 1:68-77). Any dominion that does not take sins away is not a dominion. The activities of John were a demonstration of dominion because they could take sins away. John was a man of knowledge. The use of the word “by” means that what he will be teaching is knowledge against sin. That knowledge came from the knowledge of the remission of sin. It means John can make you leave sin. The teaching of John is the teaching of the son of man. So, there are dominions outside the kingdom of heaven that many prophets and kings handled.
8. Sin came from the devil and it is a dominion. Satan’s major work is sin–to bring death. There is no true deliverance from sin (except by a kingdom) because sin is actually a flow of life from a kingdom that is dark. So, the power of sins can be traced to the darkening of the eye of understanding. If you are not enlightening people, they will not be free from sin. The remission of sin that John taught is lower than that which Jesus taught. The power of sin that people inherited is lower than that which the kingdom of God offers. The power and kingdom of sin is higher than what any man can offer to deal with it. No kingdom can deal with that kingdom. That is why it must be a kingdom that comes from heaven. Even the kingdom of Christ is from above, not here. It is so superior that it can handle sin and death.
9. True freedom cannot come to saints if light is not coming to them. A minister can bring many scriptures to saints but not light. You can give instructions lower than the light strength that can deal with sin. Sin is after the pattern of light inside a fallen angel; it is the kingdom of the devil/Satan and his christ. Satan’s christ starts from the rulers of the darkness of this world. Then the kingdom of the god of this world is spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph. 6:12). Satan’s kingdom is the kingdom of the spirit of disobedience. Spiritual wickedness and the rulers of the darkness of this world are dominions; they operate the kingdom of Satan and give it to men.
10. Every heavenly angel before the fall is a dominion. Those mentioned in Psalms 103:19-22 are all dominions. These spirits were created after the kingdom of heaven which is higher than them. Dominion, principalities, mights and power are Christs without a kingdom or Christs without a house or a name (Outer Court). Seraphims/Hosts are high Christs that are with a kingdom and are named. They are the ones that have a tabernacle—the ones referred to as priests of kings or royal kingdom (Holy Place). A Levite is a Christ that does not have an ‘in’ (house); he is still exposed to sunlight (Outer Court). He is not Christ with full strength because of an incursion into his reign. But when a Christ graduates and enters his house, his house has no incursion of light from outside. The light of every full Christ is only from the menorah (in the Holy Place). When a Christ comes into the Sanctuary (Holy Place), he has arrived in his own season. That is a godly man who brings forth his fruit in his own season.
11. (Ephesians 1:21). Spirits that are “every name that is named” are of two dimensions: the first house, which is the Sanctuary, and the Most Holy, which is the second house. Those are the two places where spirits with names are. The name of the Sanctuary is the name of the Lord, and anyone who names the name of the Lord must depart from iniquity (2 Tim. 2:19). Anyone who has the capacity not to touch the unclean is signing for a higher life in Christ Jesus.
12. What man inherited is a terrible disease higher than Adam in the inverted way. That is why man is unable to handle the dominion of Satan ; it is sweeping man away. What man inherited was a dominion superior to man; it is an angelic dominion higher than him. It was an importation from heaven that became dark. This darkness is not man’s darkness; it is an angelic darkness. No human tool can solve it.
13. The first Adam without sin was a look alike of Jesus—the last Adam without sin (1 Corin. 15:45). Both of them were a little lower than angels, but Jesus was able to take a higher dominion than Adam. Jesus obeyed a greater dominion such that by 30 years, He had entered into the kingdom of God. Jesus’ real gifts are gifts according to stature and one’s coming to God. He is a teacher of everlasting life. He was an Apostle of everlasting life, a Prophet who had grown, and then was anointed. He was a Son of man. What the New Testament or five-fold ministry should do is to raise Jesus’ capacity in men.
14. All the New Testament saints should undergo the prophetic destiny and become prophets before becoming prophetic. The five-fold ministry guides it; they are growing teachers, prophets, true and full prophets and growing sons under God. Even though Jesus was a Son of man who was a little lower than angels, what He carried was mightier than angels. His exaltation came later (Heb. 1:4). He was not exalted when He was an apprentice in His vocation. He came into His vocation and profession at a later time. You are not yet a professional when you are an apprentice in the vocation. He is the High Priest and Apostle of our profession, and our profession is His profession.
15. (Ephesians 4:17-18). A dominion that is weak in knocking out the vanity of the mind is not yet a dominion. Someone who is ignorant of the life of God is not yet having or seeing dominion. The dominion of sin was formed by the devil, and the first man who did it among men was Cain. The way of Cain is a dominion of sin (Jude 1:11). That is what is disturbing Christians till today. Sin is so powerful that it can veil ministry because it has its own kind of ministry. Some ministries look righteous but they are under sin. Many dominions are weak because they cannot undo sin. This is where we fight our battle. The reason Satan is warring with us is because of how we are going to end up with God. And if we are not careful, the dominion of sin can corrupt our souls.
16. (Colossians 1:9-11). When one has walked worthy of Christ, one can begin to increase in the knowledge of God. A perfect man (Christ) is one you can heap the knowledge of the next dominion on. The knowledge of God is the knowledge of the kingdom of God. After knowledge, you come into ways. Knowledge is precept, then we see doctrine (way) later in verse 11. Knowledge in verse 11 provides the material for one to be strengthened with, then His glorious power is the power of everlasting life.
17. (Colossians 1:13-14). This redemption through his blood is Christ, it is earth. It’s a blood deliverance for earth, but there is also a blood deliverance for the kingdom of God in heaven. Every dominion is actually a new heavenly order. The phrase kingdom of heaven means that it is a kingdom that we do not find here on earth; it is not operational through our method here. It is not something we can read. So, it was reserved, kept away and God had to bring it to earth for man to find entrance. The essence of dominion is to finally break man free from the strength of the dominion of sin. The dominion is not full until you have come to full deliverance from sin.
18. The redemption in 1 Corinthians 1:30 cannot be gotten except by blood. The order is seen in Acts 26:18: to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. When you open people’s eyes, you make them wise. You cannot turn someone whose eyes are not open. To turn from darkness to light is engaging the word of God. When one moves from the word, one is opening the doorway to blood. The word of God is the first tool of power; it is the grace of God. You open people’s eyes and turn them from darkness to light and then from the power of Satan unto God, so that they may receive the forgiveness of sins. To receive forgiveness of sin resides totally in the blood. So, one must have been delivered from the power of Satan to the power of God to receive forgiveness of sin.
19. You have to go through the blood for sins to be forgiven. This forgiveness is remission. Jesus talked about remission of sins in the parable of the sower. It takes power to remit sins. If you get to your sin and you do not have power, you will turn back. You need power to continue to allow your sin to go, because your sin is your life. Blood is life; this means that what the blood provides is a life as against another life.
20. (James 1:14-15). There is separation (from God) in the soul of a believer because sin and death are present. What can deal with this issue is the blood. But you do not get to obey the blood except you have obeyed knowledge and have done the word of God. It is with blood that one can deal with the root of sin. God has to help ministers to have blood. We should be full of faith and power, not just at the milk level but as Christ. Then after some time, as the son of God. It is when one has gotten to power (Christ/word) that one will begin to handle blood.
21. The blood of Satan is his everlasting life. What the manchild company overcame was the blood. It is not easy to hate that blood—to gain the bility to turn your back from your own blood and prefer the blood of the lamb. Satan made sure he has the gift of blood appropriate for man. The work and gift of life that he did, the mixture of blood that he did for man, is extremely diabolical. So, we need the help of the High Priest; we need His blood and the word of our testimony in order to overcome Satan. This is how we will be able to hate our lives “unto the death” (Rev. 12:11). The answer to our ‘life’ is death—we will not love our lives. We will be those who believe unto the saving of the soul.
Blessings!
