Understanding the World of Spirit

Transcript Summary
1. (Hebrews 1:8-14). God is describing two kinds of ministries here. The throne of salvation is the throne of the Son of God. God never said to any angel to sit on His throne; they are sent to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation. Angels here are not saviours but their service is rendered for those who will be saved. So in making comparison with angels and His Son, God the Father is making a very distinct statement concerning the kind of ministry the Son will be given. So it is clear that the throne of God is the throne of spirits. This means that it is a throne of giving spirits; the throne of God gives spirits. There is a clear-cut distinction between the two thrones; the angels sat on thrones but not on the throne of God.
2. (Hebrews 1:3-4; Hebrews 2:2). The angels also engage their throne; their throne consists of the word God gave to them. When you see them, you will know the word of God for them was steadfast. God gave them a spirit that was steadfast, so they spoke a particular word. God is a spirit and God made angels spirit. That is an honour you can give to your creature, which is to bring them into your class of making them spirits.
4. It is a very high honour for a person to be categorised as spirit. This spirit is not the inner man of a man, or the spirit that someone gives up at physical death, but a texture of species in the realm of spirits. It is a texture of species who have peculiar abilities. You may be a spirit, have a soul and live in the body but that does not make you spirit. That is the confusion of many when they said Adam was a soul. Adam had a spirit but he was not made a spirit, he was a living soul.
5. (Hebrews 1:7). In the first creation, the first creatures are angels. His ministers are not full angels; they are creatures of heaven but they are not particularly spirits. They have not reached that category of saying they have attained the make of “spirits”. So the next species from spirit is fire. Right above fire is spirit. This is talking about ministries. Ministry is not what they were trained to do, it is what they were made into. They cannot but give who they are. What Jesus was going for was to be made.
6. The third heaven is a realm of spirits. That is the place that can house God, the place that God can use. That is the highest point of heaven. God made sure that He has a place made for Him in heaven. God does not dwell in all heavens; He dwells among those who have an idea of who He is because He is Spirit. It is a high calling for God to seek such to worship Him (John 4:23). So they are called true worshippers. This is not referring to sincere worshippers; it is the tabernacle of worship, those who have become true or spirits. This is because God is a spirit.
7. (John 4:23-24) To say that God is a spirit does not mean that God is invisible; there is something called spirit in the heavens. It is not all materials that are spirit; the third heaven is a spirit realm. Everywhere is a spirit realm because it is unseen, but spirit is more than that. When we begin to investigate scriptures, we will see that there are different things the Bible refers to as spirit. Flames of fire are also species of creatures who are also in the spirit realm, followed by works in all places of His dominion who are also beings in the realm of the spirit.
8. Heaven is not a physical plane like earth. Heaven is invisible because of the material heaven is made up of. So those who will dwell in heaven must be made of the materials of heaven. Heaven is a superior world to earth. From our realm, there is the first heaven, the second heaven and the last heaven. Another lower realm is the realm of the living soul.
9. (Psalm 103:19-22; Psalm 8:5; Hebrews 1:7). Anything lower than dominion should be soul; this is because it is a little lower than the angels. Man is not a little lower than the level of angels that are spirits; he is lower than the level of angels that are dominion. All the realm of Psalm 103 are angels. Psalm 103 and 104 are a more detailed explanation of these creatures. In the present world, the creatures that have the highest authority are spirits. These spirits are the true worshippers in the present but the Father is not satisfied with these worshippers.
10. Worship is a submission to God that implies that you cannot return. A worshipper has reached a point of no return. Anyone who serves is making preparation to worship. Satan said “all these things I will give to you if you will fall down and worship me” (Matt. 4:9). The word “fall down” talks about you collapsing for the person that is the object of worship. Worship comes after falling.
11. (Matthew 4:9 – 10). That act of falling down that Satan was looking for was not for Jesus to fall that day, but for Jesus to crumble everything He has in His soul as stature, sell Himself to Satan and then follow him. When Satan possesses some people, they will do things that will astound us. That is why the Bible says it is possible for someone to be born of the devil. (1 John 2:15). When you love the world, Satan will get you. Someone can be carrying a Bible around but he is not of Jesus and He knows. We should fight to keep the love of the Father.
12. (Jude 1:24). For Satan to carry or tempt Jesus, it means Jesus was a man and He can be carried or tempted but He did not fall. So it tells us that a man may not fall and a man should not fall. We should always think of not falling. We cannot boast of anything of ourselves but in Jesus who helps us. A worshipper is he who has done things that will make him not turn from God. The devil fell because he was already created a worshipper. Satan is beyond a servant, he is a worshipper. Satan is a messenger of the covenant, he is not just a messenger of the way of the word but a messenger of the covenant, if not, there won’t be a need for the High Priest who will come to make you cut a covenant with God.
13. (Luke 3:2-4; Luke 3:16-17). Chaff here is flesh. The ministry of Jesus begins with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost was not given until Jesus was glorified. That tells us that the Holy Ghost is Jesus’ instrument. Jesus will baptise with the Holy Ghost and fire. Holy Ghost baptism begins with new birth, then it gets to the infilling of the spirit until you enter into the kingdom of God. The Holy Ghost then moves you into the sanctuary where He turns into fire. The Holy Ghost will lead you until your day turns into night, then He will become Fire; then the Refiners Fire will meet you there and take you away from the sanctuary to come adopt you into the ministry of the way of God.
14. (Malachi 3:1). The messenger of the way was John. When we see water issuing out of the throne of God, that’s way or path. Water is word. John came with a high word. He was a preacher of water; he truly baptised with water. John preceded Jesus because they were ministering and in the same alignment, Jesus was higher. Why we found John with Jesus was because John was a living soul, and Jesus was not a living soul but a living spirit. John could see what a living spirit was doing because he was a living soul. A higher order was already in place for Jesus, yet He had not been glorified. So He was called the son of the living God. Adam was the son of the living God in the era of the first man.
15. John arose into a living soul, and no one is greater than John except Adam. So John stood to introduce the last Adam, by the water. The last Adam (Jesus Christ) entered water to fulfil righteousness; this is because the last Adam was proceeding somewhere. He began with water and ended with blood. The Holy Spirit bore witness to the two dimensions of Jesus’ sojourning on earth. John was a water preacher but he could not teach the kingdom the way Jesus taught the kingdom. It was Jesus who opened and taught things concerning the kingdom.
16. (Matthew 4:16-17). John could not enter into the kingdom of God because he was not a spirit, he was a soul. You cannot be in the kingdom of God and be a soul, your soul must have become spirit. Someone in Christ kingdom cannot know like John. For the Bible to say that he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is Greater than he does not mean that such is better than John. Better speaks of materiality, greater means height. John did not have materials or texture than Christ but he knew certain things by the everlasting equipment of the living soul order. It was not a Christ nature that God put in Eden, it was a living soul nature Adam had. It means that with learning, God can train an everlasting soul to adapt and pass from one lesser material to another.
17. The realm of Christ are in levels till we get to the full Christ. Christ is a man. You can have a man and have a perfect man. You can be a man and not be perfect. To be a perfect man is to have gotten to charity. We become a man when we begin to handle faith. Charity is to become a perfect man; it’s a bond of perfectness (Col 3:14). Then the next man is the measure of the stature of the fullness (Eph 4:13).
18. The disparity between the present heaven and present earth is that the present earth is a living soul realm. So when you begin to think of spirits, you talk of heavens. Full spirits are spirits in the third heaven. Heaven is spirit. Mights and dominions are some kind of spirits, flames of fire are another kind of spirit, but not complete spirits. The beings in the third of heaven are the full spirits. A cherubim is all celestial. So the third heaven is the world of the word, testimony or covenant.
19. Jesus was in heaven while He was here. He told Nicodemus that no one had ascended up to heaven, except the Son of man which is in heaven (John 3:13). Jesus was in heaven, and if He was doing heaven, He is in the kingdom of heaven. It means Jesus could tell you heavenly things.
20. (John 3:12-13; John 17:4). Jesus was talking from the heavenly kingdom. These are doctrines of our Lord Jesus. To come up is to go to the kingdom of heaven. Jesus ascended up to heaven but at the same time, Jesus was on earth. He was doing what God gave to Him to finish here. To do that work is to finish the work. The only reason we should be on earth is to do the work. In ascension, you rise with Christ but in doing God, you condescend to do God. You do the work of God on earth.
21. Jesus said, “I have finished your work on earth.” It was an earth work but it was not earthly. It was a work that must be done on earth. It is the Father. Our Father is a work. When you are not doing the work on earth, it is not fully done. We get everlasting life done on earth. We should do it on earth until we are caught up to heaven. Everlasting life is what ought to be done on earth. Angels were ascending and descending on Jacob. This is also true concerning Jesus while He was on earth.
22. (John 13:3). Jesus finished going back to God in His soul before He went to the cross. He was given things which makes us know that He came from God and went to God. What we do is the work of ascension and condescending. Angels follow this pattern of doctrine. Our pattern also is to be taken up. If you do not go up, you cannot bring Him back. We must all go up to bring Him back. The purpose of Christ is to determine our ascension. We rise to go up and when you get up, you meet Him and come down.
23. Everlasting life is a work which we must finish on earth. The earth’s purpose is to use it to do everlasting life. There is something about earth and works being done. Earth is another plane from heaven. Angels never did anything to have life; they just had life. We grow up to gradually respond to life. Though Adam was made a living soul, his children were not made so; they had to grow to it.
24. There is a lot of mystery about husband and wife, and populating the earth. They don’t give birth to living souls when they come together; they give birth to a baby, not a spirit. You have to culture the baby. Jesus was not born a spirit; He was born flesh and came to a place where He became little lower than angels. He grew. Jesus never passed that level (even though He had done works) until God exalted him. Our reward is our exaltation. If God is not coming (to exalt us), we will remain so. It is God who will change us.
Blessings!
