“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” (Rev. 12:5). A man cannot reach God by walking to Him; he has to be caught up to Him. You can keep coming towards God by believing (Heb. 11:6); but when you want to reach Him, you have to be caught up to Him. You cannot come to God all by yourself; you need a lot of aid in the spirit to come to Him.
“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.” (Rom. 6:22). When a man has fully done the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, he becomes free from the law of sin and death. Freedom comes by doing a law that has the power to untie one from the bondage of the law that he was subservient to. Anyone who is free from sin automatically becomes a servant to God. Therefore, the reason for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is to convert men to become servants of God.
“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” (Rom. 8:7). The carnal mind is in enmity against God because it is in opposition to the spiritual mind. It is not an ordinary mind because it is a mind with an ungodly crown (Rom. 8:6). This ungodly crown is a crown of life and peace on the negative; it is sin and death. Death is ungodliness; it is the amount of insensitivity a man has towards God. It is not all unbelievers that respond to the law of sin and death at the same frequency, some are slower than others. This is why those who have not attained a certain stature in sin can easily repent.
The new birth does not exempt a believer’s mind from carnality. The freedom being described in the book of Romans 8 is freedom in the soul. Satan knows that the fact that people are born again does not guarantee their total freedom from his hands. A soul can only be free from him when that soul becomes spiritual. Therefore, Satan invaded the church to make it worldly, so that he can keep men carnal. Satan is also looking for men who will serve God but remain carnal because as long as their minds remain carnal, God will never get servants from the church.
The church is filled with all manner of service, and if one is not careful, he can actually stop serving God. It is easy to quench service to God. Some people in church even die faster in their souls than unbelievers. People fall away from following God because they have little strength. Sin and death is fighting believers in the church and some are not strong enough to fight it.
Sin and death is far beyond works of the flesh; it is a work that turns one away from his allegiance of service unto God. It is a wicked law because it has held men bound so that they will not respond to God when they need to. The law of sin and death is a chain of darkness that keeps moving a man to different levels until he gets to a place where he is bound. However, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus can break a man away from the hold of this law (Rom. 8:2).
God did not make the Bible to deceive man but Satan can still use the Bible for that purpose. A lot of people are being deceived in the church today. Many people become susceptible to Satan's deception when their strength is little and when they succumb to peer pressure, especially with regards to the ministry. That law of sin and death is looking for subjects or servants. It can shift men’s attention from God and the preaching of the word to other things.
“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. [23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom. 6:22-23). The law of Christ is the law of our freedom from sin. Then, we will be servants unto God who can bear fruits unto holiness. The word “holiness” in this scripture means peace and it is needed to see the Lord. It is in the realm of everlasting life that a man can see the Lord (Heb. 12:14). Coming into Eternal Life is coming to God. We begin coming to God at the level of Christ and cease in Eternal Life. To be caught up to God is to be caught up to Eternal Life.
“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 1:21). You need to have attained a stature in the spirit before you can access the mercy of God unto Eternal Life. This mercy is a learning and a doctrine of escape unto freedom. This is where perfect liberty is complete.
The love of God is demonstrated in the womb of the woman from where the man-child was caught up. The womb of the woman is for children and not for adults. The remnants of the seed of the woman were still older than the man-child in the womb (adults in nature). However, by the commandment, they will be converted from that state of adulthood into being children who can go into the womb and hide. There is a law or conditioning in the womb of the woman which keeps Satan (the dragon) from touching the child. That law is a law of childlikeness.
The person who enters the womb is older in spiritual age than the woman; he is a father of the woman, although a child. This is the same way it is with man and the Holy Ghost—He is more powerful than we are and yet we can carry him within us (in our spirits). The law of childlikeness is normal for the Godhead, therefore, the Holy Ghost can take on this state.
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matt. 18:3). The greatest in the Kingdom is the littlest; he is a completely helpless baby that the womb can carry. Such a man is one who cannot converse or respond to Satan because he has been cut off. He does not have the age that can link him to Satan. Hence, the womb is a realm of incorruptibility.
We learn incorruption by commandments. God has pressed incorruption into laws, therefore, we inherit it by doing those laws. The beginning of everlasting life, which is the first love, is an incorruptible law, although in a measure. We inherit the law of incorruptibility gradually. As such, you can unwind from it or wind into it completely.
To make a man little, all the things that make him a man has to be deleted from him. The key to ascending the Throne is to be fully groomed in the womb of the woman. The woman is the church, therefore we cannot ascend up to the Throne by exclusion from the church.
God will call forth His full son from the womb of the deliverer. The womb is Zion who will deliver the child unto God. When God says, “come up hither”, it is to call the child to sit on the Throne (Rev. 11:12). There are laws that must be obeyed to attain the season of coming up. These laws are embedded in the church; therefore, anyone who will separate himself from the body of Christ is not fit for the Throne. We should not be people who try to prove that we are better than the church but must have love in our hearts for our mother (the church).
"Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise…" (Eph. 6:2). Longevity of days in this Scripture refers to everlasting life. When you despise the law in the womb of the woman, the Throne will not welcome you. This is because the woman was endowed with the strength of the image of God.
When one has reached the state of being caught up, all the obediences and holiness required are summed up in being “small or little”. A newly born baby cannot respond to sin. This is the dimension of littleness that God wants us to attain. Holiness is not complete without meekness. Real holiness is humility and can be easily entreated, just like a baby in the natural. Our Father is as holy as a child and He does not lose His age. He is so holy and separate.
"For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones."(Isa. 57:15). Holiness is found amongst the contrite and humble spirits. He revives the heart of the contrite ones by giving them energy and pushing them forward into a higher life. God’s high dwelling is with the humble and contrite spirit. A high man is a contrite man and a humble spirit is a very high man. A man who can easily apologize will not have his marriage ruined. The proud have a gaze, and that gaze is known in heaven—it is called a proud look. Evil spirits taught men to be proud but God will humble every proud and haughty look.
Haughty look is the confidence of nations. By reason of exposure or education, some men become lofty or high. However, just like the baby in the womb the woman is dependent on her, a time is coming when heaven will carry us totally and all our strength will be gone. To be carried by the Holy Ghost is to be a child.
The man-child was not only caught up unto God, He was also caught up to God's Throne. This statement tells us that the catching up to God and to His Throne did not occur at the same time. There is a process in between both catching ups but this process is a short one. God and His Throne means different things. God is the reward that uses the Throne. The Throne of God can only be accessed through God and without Him there is no Throne. Only God has the key to using His Throne. The key to His Throne is higher than the keys of hell and death.
"He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David." (Luke 1:32). To give the Throne is to give keys. The Throne of God is a mystery that can only be demystified by God. It is a different body in Eternity which only God can operate. The Throne is another body of wisdom that requires unlocking. Therefore, one must have what it takes to unlock the wisdom embedded in the Throne before he can use it. There is something about God’s Throne which we must learn and know before we can reign (Rev. 19:6). The Throne of God is like a puzzle that can only be solved by the Eternal God. The Throne is the body of wisdom which God uses to rule.
“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my Throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” (Rev. 3:21). To make one sit on the Throne is to establish him. You cannot sit on the Throne alone. The Throne will not admit anyone who is not seated with Jesus. To sit with Jesus means that you have inherited His nature and as such, you are not seated alone but with Him. A man cannot sit with Jesus except Jesus is in him (Rev. 3:21). The Son in you is an evidence that you can reign.
To be caught up to God means that the child will get God (inherit Eternal Life) as a reward and sit on the Throne. God’s Throne is the formation of His nature concerning governance (rule). This is where one is taught how to rule, otherwise he will not be given the rod of iron. This is because he will not know how to use it. The rod of iron is a book on its own; it is a learning and also God’s will.
Sitting on the Throne of God is not for show off but an eternal responsibility. When Jesus sat on the Throne, He did not show off with it. The Throne is a high and lofty place, with high and lofty character and ethics (Isa. 57:15). God is high in holy ethics; those are realms to fear with principles that must not be compromised. A conscience that fears to compromise principles is a good one because the One we are going to is One of high ethics and spiritual rules.
We cannot cut corners with heaven. Therefore, we are being trained to abide by spiritual ethics. A character that disciplines itself in pursuit of God, and not seeking his own, is of a high price. Revelation does not just push one there, for it is a conveyor and a material of high character. It requires faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity (2 Pet. 1:5-8).
Fruits are mixed with knowledge, just like the hem of the garment of the High Priest. The hem of a High Priest’s clothing has bells and fruits attached to it. The bell signifies knowledge while fruits represent characters; these two follow one another and must be merged together to train one for something higher (Exo. 28:34). The learning of the word alone is not enough because there is need for character. The bell is the gospel. Inside the bell is the fruit. What sounds inside the gong (bell) is the fruit. Therefore, when the word (truth) is being taught, what is actually taking place is the amplification of the character.
