Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministry (EGFM)
Programme: Anamnesis 2022 – Day 4 Evening Session
Date: Saturday, 10th December 2022
“Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus…” (Heb. 3:1). In preparing for Anamnesis, one of the things that the Lord did which I feel cannot be separated from the meeting is the apostolic phase of the word of life that the whole community under Jesus are pushing for.
The servant of God, Reverend Kayode Oyegoke, has had different experiences, all centering around the teaching of the epistles and the preaching of Christ. In Acts 26, the Lord encountered Paul and told him that He has appeared unto him to make him a minister and a witness of things that he has seen and things that would appear unto him. In Romans 16:25-26, Paul talks about two commissions: the calling to teach Christ and the calling to everlasting life.
“Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. [17] Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (1 Tim. 1:16-17). The dual experiences of Acts 26 commissioned Paul as an apostle, and he being an apostle, had insights to see things of the revelation of Christ and the Son of God.
There are different types of apostolic strengths. God appeared to Reverend Kenneth Hagin in 1987, teaching him about the four classes of apostles, the Lord Jesus being the Chief Apostle (the Head Apostle), not just by office but by essence – by nature, and that there would never be another apostle like Him. He went further to mention the second-class apostles who were the 12 apostles with the Lord for the three and a half years of His ministry; they are higher grades than the third-class apostles.
The third class apostles are those who lay the foundation of doctrine. The Lord said we do not have any of them in our generation but we have the fourth class apostles who have the strength to see doctrine that had been laid by the third class apostles in the epistles.
An apostle is someone who by doctrine can see the arrangement of God for heavens and earth. Any apostleship that cannot by doctrine tell heaven and earth is not in the four grades of apostles and is not an apostle that can teach doctrine. Any minister who claims to teach things but can not teach about heaven and earth is not one of the categories of the apostles, for the heaven and the earth are products of doctrine.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: [10] That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him…” (Eph. 1:3, 10). The things in Christ are in heaven and earth. Outside of heaven and earth, there is nothing in Christ. When God was going to make heaven and earth, He used doctrine, not His own doctrine, but He brought forth a doctrine that made heaven and earth.
“And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth…” (Gen. 14:19). What God possesses is heaven and earth. Any time God is releasing the apostolic grace, it is to show forth the heaven and earth that are in Christ, not as we have known it.
The preaching of Christ is the preaching of earth, the preaching of everlasting life is the preaching of heaven, and the preaching of Eternal Life is the preaching of a greater heaven. One of the core pursuits of this year's Anamnesis is that the Lord is trying to add more authority of a sent one upon His servant to be able to see eternal heavenly things – things of the house of God.
These things are being said because we need to believe and trust God for the things which God wants to bring. It is a privilege that the Lord wants to bless a generation. We are helpless if the Lord does not add authority because corruption is on the increase, but the Lord wants to add authority and grace upon His servant for a generation.
Blessings!
