ANAMNESIS GRAND FINALE PST. TOPE FALAYE

Programme: Anamnesis 2023 (Grand Finale)

 Date: Saturday, 9th December, 2023

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, [2] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds…” (Heb. 1:1-2). Leading up to Anamnesis, part of the emphasis that the servant of God (Rev. Kayode Oyegoke) by the grace of God brought forth, which was really astounding and impacted our hearts, is the issue of the ministry of Jesus that ought to come to the church. There is a sense in which when saints gather, Jesus is with them (Matt. 18:20). There is also a sense in which when a minister is ministering, we invite the Lord when we ask Him to use the minister as He wills so that the minister would speak as God wills. The Lord hears those prayers and by the grace of God and the anointing of the Spirit (depending on the level of the work the Lord has done in that minister and ministry), the Lord would through grace, bless that person and minister.

There is also a sense in which the Lord also can visit a meeting at any level. Many times, Reverend Kenneth Hagin would be ministering and the Lord Jesus would come into the ministration and say things that would often have an impact on him as a minister and on the ministration, at that time. And after that time, Jesus would come. There are many senses in which Jesus interjects in ministry and in churches. Over the years, in contemporary church history and by reading books, one can tell that Jesus can interject a minister and help him in his ministration.

When Jesus was on earth for three and a half years of open ministry as a Prophet, we can say He ministered in almost all the five-fold ministries. He fulfilled the will of God: He died, was raised on the third day and was glorified at the right Hand of God. While He was on earth, there was one ministry He bore and carried, but this ministry is very invisible. It only becomes visible in the emphasis of Jesus as the Son of God and the preaching of the revelation of the mystery of the Father. Without the mystery of the Father being found and highlighted upon by the Spirit of God, through our parents in the Lord, it would be difficult to discover this ministry of Jesus. Even though we make references to it, quote and preach it, the tangibility of it will not come forth the way it really is in the epistles, until an emphasis is laid on Jesus being the Son of God and also as the Father.

God entered and dwelt in Jesus by reason of the manifestation of life everlasting that was cultured in Him by the Father. The Father taught Him life everlasting and when that life was revealed in Him, the Father eventually indwelt Him and lived in Him. The Father was also in Him, helping Him and doing ministry through Him. The Father lived in Him and He lived life everlasting. Jeuss said “it is the Father in Me that doeth the works” (John. 14:10). These works are works of everlasting life (first work and last work) and they had a toll on the kind of ministry Jesus did — the kind of mind He had, the hope He had and what drove Him as a minister. The ministry He did was elevated to a height that is not the kind of height we find now. Until the mystery of God is pushed and found by the help of God at an everlasting height, there is a ministry of Jesus that would not show forth.

In the last week of Anamnesis Prayer Meetings, the Lord showed so much mercy through His servant in emphasizing the ministry of Jesus that ought to be in the Church. We learnt that the Lord can visit a ministry, interject in what they are doing and yet, His present day ministry to them would not come. His present day ministry is so important that what the devil did to shut out that ministry was to bring many other definitions of what ministry is, and make the five-fold serve those other ‘ministries’. The Lord gave Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints and the work of the ministry, which is everlasting life (Eph. 4:11-12).

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry…” (1 Tim. 1:12). Apostle Paul was a five-fold minister. He could be an Apostle, a Prophet, or a Teacher, both at the level of milk and also at the level of the meat of God. The ministry that the five-fold ought to be like is the ministry of Jesus, wherein Jesus would be given space in the heart of the minister, so that Jesus can always minister through him to God's people. The ministry of Jesus can not be carried out until a people journey to the point of everlasting life.

Paul said in Hebrews 8:6 that Jesus had obtained a more excellent ministry. So Jesus is not just in heaven waiting; He wants to minister. He has a present-day ministry but the hindrance to that ministry is that a people are yet to be brought forth or raised to the heavens because His ministry is in the heavens. He is a minister of heavenly things or everlasting things or things of the Father. So as long as a people do not journey that far, Jesus is handicapped. He can not preach or minister.

One of the burdens in the book of Hebrews is the burden of ministries who would allow Jesus to come and be a minister of the sanctuary and the true tabernacle. We can preach about the sanctuary and the true tabernacle, although He is not yet there. Part of the burden the Lord put in the heart of His servant is that that ministry has come and Jesus has come to open the frontier of that ministry.

The burden of the servant of God, which is the burden in the heart of Jesus, is that this ministry would engulf our community and also go into the body, wherein Jesus would always be ministering. The ministry of Jesus is His coming and it is His ministry that can fully perfect the work of the sanctuary and fully birth forth the work of the Most Holy. If this is not done, there can never be a rapture.

Jesus is the only one who knows how to build the house that will eventually make Him physically come to catch up a church. Thus, His ministry is His appearance wherein He will raise Himself in ministers and possess ministers who will minister with Him at different degrees until they can minister with Him a hundred percent. Part of the burden in the servant of God is that this ministry will be birthed forth among us; that the graces of this ministry will open up and Jesus would, without hindrance, begin to do ministry as He wants to from the heavens.

Blessings!
