Attaining Good Works (RH)

Programme: Revelation Hour (RH)

Date: Saturday, 13th January 2024

We thank God for the emphasis over the house, which did not just start this year. If you look at previous conferences, you will see that this has been an emphasis for a while. It is what the Spirit has been saying ever since men came into the sanctuary. One of the things we will trust God for this year is not to be familiar with those words and many things that we have heard in previous years. When we hear “the great appearing”, we will do well not to be familiar with it so that we can relate with a fresh understanding that the Lord wants to communicate.

1 Thessalonians 1:3; 9-10

“Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father… [9] For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; [10]And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.”

This captures and summarizes where we are in the spirit. A labor had taken place in verse 3 which opened a portal in the spirit that was summarized in verses 9-10, which is also another labour. These verses were portals that were opened up to men like Adam but he did not complete the transition inherent in them.

The Thessalonian church came to a season where they were hoping for glory; they waited for the coming of the Son. Before we can wait for the Son, we must have waited for the Lord. Those who came into this season like the Thessalonian church, did so because they had been able to endure the demands that the previous waiting necessitated. In 1 Thessalonian 1:3, they had received an understanding and it was by that understanding that they were hoping for glory.

I have seen how the Lord has prepared us and will yet prepare us to wait on Him in this year beyond the initial effort of fasting at the beginning of the year. A lot of those fasting and spiritual exercises do not translate into waiting in the spirit. There are some rituals that should take place in the course of waiting on the Lord. Some people will fast but will not wait on the Lord. The difference between our fasting and that of those who do not have the light of the Lord is waiting.

There are many believers in the body of Christ who will fast but will not wait on the Lord. They will fast for things outside what the Lord has to give— what the Lord has to give can be summed up in ‘an understanding’. Many people outside these waters do not have the tiding that would deal with their darkened understanding, but they are fasting. God in His mercy will come to their level and give them what they want, but will not give to them what He would give to those who wait on Him.

Ephesians 4:18

“Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart…”

1 Corinthians 13:11

“When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”

The understanding in 1 Corinthians 13:11 is different from the “darkened understanding” in Ephesians 4:18. In the former, the understanding has not been darkened; children have a natural understanding which comes with some innocence. But a time comes when that understanding becomes darkened. This is as a result of waiting for something—loving something. Understanding does not just come upon a man without the breaking or fulfillment of laws. Therefore, waiting on the Lord is to deal with that darkness; and the summary of that process results in sin and darkness being remitted.

There is always a labour to fetch things from the realm of the spirit, whether from the realm of light or darkness. It is with that labour that the soul will traffic with either of the realms. Those who wait on the ‘Lord’ are those in 1 Thessalonians 1:3, who came to a point where they laboured in love and had patience of hope in the Lord because Christ was in them. They had not just fasted, they had also waited. In the course of waiting, the Lord appeared to deal with sin (Heb. 9:28). Those who profit with this appearance become elects and the brethren of the Lord in His sanctuary. After that, they can then wait on the ‘LORD’.

Our life is a life of waiting. Unbelievers are waiting for something; believers are also waiting for something in the sanctuary. When they get it, it prepares them to wait for the Son. Adam started the business of waiting but he did not complete that curriculum. If you are not being helped in the place of waiting, you can slip into discouragement.

Isaiah 40:28

“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.”

This ‘LORD’ was the One who was also appearing to Adam. He is trying to give a prescription in this verse so that we will not faint or get weary.

Ephesians 3:8

“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ…”

Just like in Isaiah 40:28, you cannot search these riches of Christ the way prophets were searching for things that were hidden. You cannot use the labour of reading and prayer to break into it. It was through holy apostles and prophets that many of those things that were hidden could be unveiled.

Ephesians 3:4-5

“Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) [5] Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit…”

What we once lacked was the understanding of a knowledge in the mystery of Christ. When God raises holy apostles and prophets, it signals the dispensation in the spirit over the church.

Ephesians 3:6-8

“That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: [7] Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. [8] Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ…”

Those who have been raised by the Lord Jesus have access to these riches. It will take holy apostles and prophets to preach Christ, and it is through that preaching that we can have access to Christ. It is only by preaching that you can bring the tidings of the spirit and bring a person into the New Testament. This understanding is what God's servant (Revered Kayode Oyegoke) is labouring to bring us to.

We should not be too quick to summarize scriptures that we know, or else we can miss out on the understanding and impartation, if we lack the right attitude. This understanding being referred to in Isaiah 40 is the understanding that John had come into (1 Jn. 5:20). It took time for the apostles to get here like it is taking us time. It takes time to break down things, which is why we must be patient with God's servant. It is not everybody that has the right spirit for our meetings, and sometimes, Reverend Kayode can feel it.

We are to finish the business that Adam did not finish, and come into this understanding. This is how we will be able to relate to the true God and Eternal Life. This is the only escape from fainting and being weary.

The year 2024 will not be different from year 2023 if we do not excel in certain areas where we did not previously excel, such as in coming under. Coming under in 2024 must mean a different thing from what it meant in 2023.

Galatians 4:1-2

“Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; [2]But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.”

It is in the process of coming under that one will come into a place where one is a heir and a joint heir of God. The summary of the exploits of the Hebrew church was that they came under some tutors and governors. That was what made them heirs that could entertain ministries from ministering spirits, so that they could come into salvation.

Apostle Paul was talking about a labour to come under, and that was what they were negotiating. That was what Adam negotiated and that is what every one of us has the capacity to negotiate in different measures. A lot of times, the Holy Ghost will use some of our conversations of how we are not faring well to convict us. We cannot come under the Holy Ghost if we cannot come under the servants of Jesus, because the Holy Ghost is not seeking His own things but the things of Jesus.

To be an heir is a season. That was the labour that brought the church in Corinthians to a place where they could hope for glory. As heirs, they would yet come under so as to receive ministrations from ministering spirits concerning salvation. The mileage covered in the spirit can be traced to the measure of grace we found by reason of alignment. As long as we are in this world, we will need constant realignment. We need constant realignment to be on track. Absence of constant alignment will require more labour to get back into alignment. We always need to come into alignment because of the world that we are still living in, and that is what many of the teachings are trying to do.

The secret of not fainting and not being weary is to have an understanding. This is the understanding that John was talking about in 1 John 5 -- the Son of God had come and He is still coming. He came through our meetings last year, even though not many people could receive those comings because other things were weightier than alignment and coming under.

John 14:8-9

“Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. [9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?”

Philip was telling Jesus to show him something outside of who He embodied and personified. This was a bit grievous to Him. It takes a lot to raise someone to be an example, and when we cannot refer to the works that make him an example, it says a lot about the state of our soul. Jesus replied to Philip with a grievous tone that reflects a reaction to our current disposition in not acknowledging the works that the Lord has done in men, especially in His servant. If we did, we would have had better alignment last year. Crooked paths cannot be made straight if the issues that make us go out of alignment are not addressed.

We are enjoying unknown deliverances because of the house we are under, which is why evil spirits are waiting for us to draw back or come out of covering. Those who left the company are now being devoured; this is evident in how they think and speak.

1 Samuel 2:9

“He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.”

One of the things the Lord keeps is our feet. Spirits fight our feet. When we win a measure of that warfare, we have beautiful feet -- our feet are shod with the gospel of the profession of peace.

Psalms 91:12

“They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”

Jesus had to be kept during the temptation because those words were stones, but God gave His angel charge over Him. The keeping of our feet is an insurance that we are enjoying as a community.

Some things could have been different last year for some of us if we had revered the works that God's servant had embodied. It is easier for God to lead a person through persons He has led. There is a lie that the church has fallen for and that is why some people have not given a right hand of fellowship to identify with what the Lord is doing through a community like this. They have a reservation towards the references that we make in the course of ministrations. This could be as a result of an unchildlike state of heart. Some people are not poor in spirit. There is something in men that only want to hear ‘about Jesus’ and does not want to recognise the work that God has done in His servants, just the way Philip asked that Jesus show them the Father. Some are saying that men should not be acknowledged, and evil spirits have been riding on that.

There was a tone Jesus was using to speak because he (Phillip) was discountenancing a work the Father had done. Angels did not like that conversation. We also do so when we cannot acknowledge the work God has done in men. Peter knew Jesus by revelation, but he also saw imprints of the work that only Jesus could have done in those apostles. When Jesus was praying for them in John 17, He said “they have kept thy word” (John 17:6). It shows the kind of work that was in them. That was the kind of exploits or conversations we saw in John the Baptist.

One of the things that made John the Baptist the greatest of all men was what he saw in Jesus Christ (John 1:27). What made him the greatest of men was the understanding and estimation he had of Jesus -- who Jesus was to him. In the same vein, God has a work done in some men and we should be able to relate with that work. When we do, we will do better.

That is why God brings the image of God's servants in our midst. Sometimes when we are not in alignment, God can bring images of persons and make us know that such persons would not act in certain ways we act. The images will come as a thought because God speaks in thoughts contrary to our ways or reasons. Many thoughts come our way to interject our thought process, so the Lord can just bring the image of a person to bring us into alignment.

Last year, God used men in whom He had worked to instruct us but some of us could not discern it. We just ignored it. In John 1:27, John was acknowledging the work that was done in Jesus, unlike Phillip and some of us. Some of us did not acknowledge some works that we have seen severally in some persons that are not even Reverend and Reverend (Mrs.) Oyegoke.

John 3:27

“John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.”

This conversation is a conversation of stature. The utterance is coming from a level of selflessness. John had the stature to prefer another. We do not know the temptation he was under when he was saying this. We do not know the warfare he had won when he was asked “Are you the Christ?” and he said “No” (John 1:19-20). If he had taken the honour because of what was upon him, which was to advertise someone else and not himself, he would have died a death. John the Baptist overcame a kind of death there. We do not know what the Holy Ghost used John’s utterance in John 3:27 to do in the heart of men.

Satan was fighting men so that Israel will not receive Jesus. And if John the Baptist could not midwife the process or show the way, many things in the program of salvation would have been tampered with. God had to wait for about 700 years before John could be raised. His ministry had to be received by some, else, a lot of programs meant to raise the early church would have been tampered with.

John 3:28

“Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.”

John maintained his confession about Jesus. When we have the stature to do likewise, we will be heading towards the threshold of the everlasting kingdom and we will have the meekness that is higher than the meekness that made him say this. John was wearing a mantle that had not been worn by any man before him. He had an anointing and glory that was upon him. He was carrying authority and he knew, but was also blind to it.

John 3:29

“He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.”

We can see how John came low here. John was more than happy to put himself below Jesus, even below us. He knew that something was coming to a generation that he would not be a part of. He preferred the wisdom that only God could have brought to him and was content with it. This can also be seen in how angels minister to men knowing fully well that men will be greater than them. The issue of greatness is a warfare.

Matthew 18:4

“Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

John’s stature was high in the spirit. Even the apostles did not have his stature when they started the apostle’s doctrine. It took time for them to match up, even when they moved to the revelation of Christ. It must have taken moving from the realm of Christ to everlasting life for them to attain that because John the Baptist was an Adam. The Lord will have us talk about others and acknowledge what He has done in them more often. It is an ethics of the kingdom. Angels do it. It is one way to take your eyes off yourself. What we saw John display is a kingdom ethic.

When Reverend Helen Oyegoke says that someone is her teacher, this is a conversation. 1 Peter 3:4 calls these conversations that of a meek and quiet spirit. A meek and quiet spirit is higher than a new heart and a new spirit because it stems from the conversation of the incorruptible seed and everlasting life.

John accepted his dealing in John 3:29. He accepted that he will be less than a generation. If he had struggled with it, he would not have had the liberty to say the things he said. He went to the wilderness around 13 years of age. He went through 17 years of work in the wilderness. He was in a dealing that would make him end up in an estate where he will be less than us, and he accepted this. He may have even known that he would be killed but he had died to the fear of physical death.

John’s conversation in John 3:29 exemplified humility and contentment. John was humble and content to say that he is not worthy; he acknowledged God’s sovereignty. This is one struggle that even ministers have. Where God’s servant, Reverend Kayode Oyegoke, stands is not his choice; it was predetermined before time. It was decided from the beginning that Reverend Kayode Oyegoke will bear a rare honour over generations. It is an honour to raise the man-child company (Rev. 12:5)

Just like John did to Jesus, we also have to do a lot of decreasing so that some others can increase (John 3:30). If Adam had kept the commandment given to him, he would have decreased. If our parents in the Lord are still being instructed to come under, at the age they have attained, it means many of us are still not doing well with coming under. Anointings and gifts are not signs of being under; the Lord’s calling is without repentance (Rom. 11:29)

Fathers may know about one’s disorderliness but they are not quick to chasten one because the nature of disorderliness is not one that can quickly be corrected by words. One may have to go through some seasons where one makes mistakes and then one’s eyes are open after such mistakes. After such a season, one will disdain the man (old nature) who made such mistakes. Such experiences will chasten us and help us to not trust ourselves.

We are going to do a lot more “coming under” this year than before. What makes us not to come under is a beastly nature. Spirits know how to bring offensive thoughts to us concerning coming under, and we are sometimes happy to peddle these thoughts. We take those thoughts because we are not seeking after salvation. If we are looking for salvation, the topmost thing we will desire is coming under. Without that, we will never be lambs. Instead, we will ever be learning but never able to acknowledge the truth that is in the Father—truth that should make us free from that nature (2 Tim. 3:7; John 8:32)

The being (Lucifer) who informed that character of not being under is still in existence. This is because it is a law within us. Paul saw this law and called himself a wretched man (Rom. 7:24). If you have the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus but not the law of God, you are still a wretched man. The exploit that will enable us to partake of ‘My Spirit’ or will have the law of the LORD written in our hearts is coming under.

The nature of coming under should be our daily prayer point because that nature is difficult to imbibe. It is even more difficult for people with special graces in different areas of life. As financial increase will come our way, it will become more difficult. We can do many things with the addition God is bringing our way and be ignorant that we are not making progress when it comes to coming under. Fathers see things that they cannot speak plainly about because it is sensitive. This was why Paul was making prayers for churches at the point of transition. Adam did not make such prayers even though he had what we are still trusting God for. Adam negotiated coming under.

One thing that will make 2024 a new year is that we will come under like never before. We need to ask the Holy Ghost what it means to come under. He has to bear witness to what is being said. Coming under is the pathway to us becoming tutors and governors (Gal. 4:2). It takes time be a teaching priest with Urim and Thummim; the key to it is coming under. Some people are not called to be in the fivefold ministry but they will come under so much that they will become lambs. Meanwhile another person may be full of anointing but he is struggling to come under.

There are people who are yet to encounter these waters that will be on that mountain mentioned in Revelations 14:1-2. Therefore, that we are hearing these words at the moment does not make us special. The Lord will give every soul the honour and opportunity to make it there. It takes the empowerment of this gospel for us to take our eyes off ourselves. There are things God wants to do through us that we have not allowed Him to because we are not yet ordinary. We are more preoccupied with what the Lord wants to do through us. Waiting on the Son is a labour and that is why after some have waited on the Lord, they will desire to rest.

Isaiah 40:29-31

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. [30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: [31] But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Many will fast but not many will wait upon the Lord. One dividend of waiting on the Lord is that we will enjoy the “ritual” of meditation and it is therein we will have understanding. Somebody who did not fast and has a breath of understanding in the course of the day has fed better than another person who fasted and did not come into understanding. Many are fasting but not everyone is waiting on the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

We have not kept this scripture because we fell back on our understanding severally. Labouring is tasking and waiting is a labour. Whenever we are not waiting on the Lord, we wait on something else; there is no neutrality in the spirit. Last year, we fell back on our understanding many times. We did not wait on the Lord Almighty for an understanding that is different from ours.

Sometimes, our understanding can be traced to a past revelation that the Lord gave concerning a matter. If we use a previous understanding instead of a fresh one, the Lord would not be pleased. Understanding is a staff; whenever we are not leaning on the staff of faith, we will fall back on our understanding. We are told to keep using a staff we cannot see until it becomes the only staff we can use -- until this tendency to fall back on something else is crucified.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Isaiah 40:31

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Believing in Him is a program of His faith which we have to wait on in some seasons. Believing in Him is also a program of the Father’s name. Our scorecard last year can be traced back to our labours in waiting. This was why the Thessalonian church could hope for glory (1 Thess. 1). Some people are not hoping for glory now because of the weariness that comes with that labour.

The dividend of waiting is understanding. If we do not appreciate in understanding in a single day, it means that day has been wasted forever. Because of this, we must put a premium on time because time is more expensive than money.

Some people have waited on the substances in the Son, as a result, they now have a name in the spirit. ‘Powers’ is a name in the spirit. It is a description of where they stand and what they have kept until they have been kept by it. What we keep ought to keep us until a particular season. What we keep is what we define as our lives. Some have been able to define Christ as their lives despite contradictions. They kept it until it saw them through to Zion. They are now waiting on the Son for another name.

There are those who bear the name of salvation despite not even having the name of the Holy Ghost. Salvation ought to become our name in this season. Jesus’ name was not salvation at 12 or 20, but at 30. His name had become salvation and that was what God trusted when Satan came to tempt Him (Matt. 4). God wants us all to bear the name of the Father. It should be obvious in the spirit that we have attained power.

2 Peter‬ 1‬:16‬ ‬‬‬‬‬

“For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.”

Another name for “following” is “coming under”. How well we follow determines our rate of change. Coming under authority in this community is actually coming under Jesus. We have to come under those whom He has raised. Many of us are unwilling to come under because we have not yet harnessed the power of His day or the Eternal power of God, which is when we would be christened with ‘salvation’.

There was an unwillingness we had last year that survived all the meetings, and will tend to continue like that this year. Some of us have found mercy because heaven is showing this unwillingness to us. Things that men see carry less weight before the Father. Preaching, for example, is a thing that men can see. We do not yet know what unlocks our passions. Jesus was made to live in the sight of the Father and He was content with it. When Jesus was told to turn water to wine, He told them His time had not yet come because He was a highly regulated man. He was raised not to please men and we need that sense.

John‬ 2‬:4‬ ‬‬‬‬‬

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.”

Here, Jesus was not under Mary’s authority but under the authority of the Father. He had been separated from father and mother. Jesus went to that wedding in Cana for a purpose. God will bring us to a place where we do not leave our houses and go to places for flimsy reasons. Jesus knew that there was a purpose for Him to go there, but because there was no communication from heaven, He did nothing. He was trained over years to live under the sight of the Father. Jesus could not afford to sin once. He was also careful that people would not define Him by miracles; He was handling pressure. We need this mind to fight spirits we failed to overcome last year. We need this mind for salvation.

Matthew‬ 6‬:1‬ ‬‬‬‬

“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.”

Alms are not limited to just money. Our gifts, charisma, and grace to serve in the help ministry can be alms. We should be content just living in the sight of the Father. We have to be more conscious of the Person that will reward us rather than the people that will see us. Man does not know how to hide. One of the things that everlasting Life will teach us is how to hide— how to be okay not being seen by men.

Anything the Father does not see is not a work, because it is not traced to an understanding or waiting on a commandment that the Holy Ghost would give about our course of service. The Father sees works. If a thing cannot appear before the Father in the spirit, then it means it is not a work or a conversation; it was not born out of ways and is self-seeking. Self cannot appear in God's presence.

When the woman was caught in the act of adultery, what He ended up saying in that scenario probably came to Him a few minutes before He spoke. Our Lord Jesus was a professional waiter. Jesus had to wait because He knew that the words He would speak were not going to be His. He proved every thought that came His way. If we can get this right, we will have many spoils of war this year. Sometimes when He was not hearing from heaven, the Father was using such seasons to quicken Him the more. Every experience of waiting changes us.

Our parents (Reverend and Reverend (Mrs.) Oyegoke) are where they are because they have attained a height in waiting. If 2024 will be different from 2023, we need to do a lot of things differently in the place of waiting. Many things can wait; many decisions, financial investments, expenses and choices can wait. Some have not come to the place of fervent charity because they are quick to gratify many decision-making processes. When it comes to others, we should be quick but when it will gratify us, we should be slow to hear.

Matthew 6:2

“Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.”

We are not yet dead to the glory of men, especially because we are around something that has to do with a move of God in the church. It will take the word of God coming to us to help our motives for what we do, or what we do not do and how we do them. We must have lived by the word of God that is quick and powerful, which is the everlasting word of God, because we are still being separated from the realm of creatures.

Hebrews‬ 4‬:12‬ ‬‬

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

There are things last year that may have pleased the Lord but did not please the Father. This is because we are still seeing darkly—we are still having an understanding that can be traced to the Lord. It would take the understanding that the Father gives not to see darkly.

Matthew‬ 13‬:23‬ ‬‬‬‬

“But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

This year, we want to come into an understanding that will generate good works. Those are the works that the Father sees. The works that are not good will not appear because it shows that such a person is not interested in coming into presence. Satan wanted to use flesh to ride into presence but God denied him. Flesh can bask outside presence. The reward that the Father wants to give is in heaven.  This reward is what they were waiting on the Son of God for (1 Thess. 1:10). To wait for the Son from heaven is to wait on the name of that Son. It is a measure of life which is a heaved understanding.  A heavenly man is one that has received what is in heaven.

This year, we will not faint in the areas where we fainted last year because we will appreciate in understanding, and as a result we will walk better than we did last year. Many are going to mount up with wings as eagles this year. The mounting up is for a particular feast.

Matthew 24:27-28

“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [28] For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.”

This is after many comings. Some people would have a name called ‘Salvation’. Those who will sit on the throne must have their names changed to Salvation. The labour of God’s servant is to change our names to Salvation. Eagles are those who have wings and can journey with the strength of doctrine. Carcasses to be fed on are the tidings that appearance wants to bring, so that we can have the understanding to relate with the True God and Eternal Life. God has trained people to be eaglets through the doctrine of Christ, but with the doctrine of the Son and the Father, God raises eagles who can take the appearance of the Son and can feast on what the Son is saying.

The lighting is coming from the east, which indicates the morning, that is, the beginning. The carcass is what John called the true light. This light is an understanding. It is what will arm us and make us light bearers of the world to come. We need that light which is the true light that lighteth the world, to overcome a fallen light-bearer (John 1:9). As many as do so, they will become the light bearers of the light to come. This is a calling that was not given to John the Baptist. We will only get there when we renew our strength, mount up with wings as eagles, then partake fully of that feast.

Isaiah 25:7

“And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.”

The activity of destruction is ongoing. That vail is also an understanding called gross darkness.

Isaiah 25:8

“He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.”

Because of access to carcass, the Son has become like a carcass that eagles will feast on. It is by feasting on Him that we will be made of a quick understanding. It is by feasting on Him that we will be made quick and powerful. Those are the constituents of that word of God. When these words came to Jesus also, He produced some works that made men want to stone him. Those are works that the Father sees and rewards. Those works can be traced to an understanding that has been given to us. They are proof that we are living by the light that lightens every man that comes into this world.

Isaiah 25:9

“And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”

We will look for Him this year. Salvation will mean to us what many other things meant to us last year. There are many other things around salvation that are less than salvation but carry more weight to us than salvation. Salvation must mean more to us like it does to our parents and elders in this path. Then we will wait for it like the watchmen waits for the breaking of the day. We have waited for him and He will save us.

We have to be saved from this estate that struggles to delight in coming under, that negotiates submission under various guises and justifications, with many excuses. The reason we need to be reminded about doing some things is because our minds are not full of the mind of the person whom we are serving. If we excel in waiting, we will be able to pick what is in the mind of whom we are serving. Those who wait on the Lord will be rewarded with an understanding. Many times, when those we are serving need to remind us what we need to do, it is because we are not really waiting on them. Waiting is an order of the spirit that the Lord must behold in our midst this year.

Colossians 3:23

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men…”

We are not doing anything unto our pastors or our department heads, but unto the Lord. We are all meant to be waiting in different ways and do it with our heart. When we get there, our transactions with what is kept in heaven for us will increase. Our ability to fetch breath (understanding) will increase (Job 32:8). Breath will come in with thoughts. Thoughts we cannot get while praying or reading the Bible will come because that attitude is for those who are looking for the Lord. As we do so, we will receive much more help in our corporate meetings. The Lord will appear more frequently and with greater intensity.

It is not a sin to look up to men – to look up to the work that God has done in such men. We can look up to everyone God has worked in. Peter had the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Now, God has raised His servants who have much more than that measure of name (life), so we can consult with what God has done in them. God can use the life of our parents and elders to instruct us.

Blessings!
