Psalm 82:1

“God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.”

The word ‘God’ in this verse means ‘Elohim’. It also means a Ruler, Judge, and Divine One. The word ‘gods’ also mean rulers, judges, divine ones and angels. However, men have misunderstood the meaning of this verse.

(Psalm 8:4-5) The word ‘angels’ means elohim. A lot of scholars, especially those who believe in new creation realities to the extreme think that this verse means that Adam was made a little lower than God but higher than angels. However, this is not so. If this was the order, God would have placed man in heaven and placed angels on earth because the hierarchy of creatures also aligns with their habitat. In the present creation, the nature of angels is higher than the nature of man, although it will not be the same in the new creation (the world to come). There would be no need for the salvation of man’s soul if it was true that man was higher than angels. This is why those who drive in the extremes of new creation realities do not believe in the saving of the soul.

New creation realities refer to a teaching of the work that was done in the inner man (the spirit) as a result of the new birth. Man is a tripartite being – he is made up of the inner man (the spirit), the outward man (the body) and the inward man (the soul). Of these three aspects of a man, the real man is the inner man. Those who take new creation realities to the extreme believe that if a man is saved in his inner man (at the new birth), that is all the salvation he needs. However, if men understand the mystery of the soul and the spirit, we will begin to see things differently.

(Hebrews 4:12) It is not easy to differentiate between the soul and spirit because they are intertwined. As such, when a man dies, his soul will not depart form his body as a separate man from his sprit. They rather depart as one man. This tells us that the spirit and the soul are so tied together that nothing can separate them, except the two-edged sword which is the strong meat of the word.

Those who believe only in new creation realities over-emphasize on the work that was done in the inner man. When one is born again, he can go to heaven. The thief on the cross beside Jesus, who asked to be saved, ended up in heaven; even without any work being done in him. However, he did not go to heaven on that very day because his spirit was not saved on that day. No spirit was quickened before Jesus died and was resurrected. The spirit and soul of that thief went to the bosom of Abraham on that day when he died.

When Jesus said, “today, you will be with Me in paradise”, He was not referring to the natural timing of ‘today’ but the day of His resurrection (Luke 23:43). He was referring to the day when God would birth the specie of new beings, which was the day that man was recreated. It was on this same day that Abraham left that bosom in hell and ascended with all his children (other saints who were in Abraham’s bosom), including that thief. This shows us the power of the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus.

Psalm 16:10

“For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.”

It was impossible for Moses’ body to fall into corruption because he was a holy one. This state of being a holy one is a state where you will gain the privilege of your body not seeing corruption. This was the same thing that happened to the prophet Elijah’s body. While he was alive, through his walk and obedience, he was racing so that this body would not see corruption. He did not just run from Jezebel but much more, from death. He ran from Jezebel because he did not want anything to touch his body, for Jezebel would have killed him. He knew that he did not have the power against the injury of his outward man.

What happened in your spirit man is not enough for your salvation. It can get you to heaven but heaven is not the final destination of any Christian. The destiny of every man should be God; and he will dwell in a physical habitation known as the world to come.

Psalm 82:2-3,5

“How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah [3] Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. [5] Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.”

The liberty proclaimed to the needy and poor is deliverance. The poor and the needy are different from the wicked. The first class of wicked fellows are those who have completely gone towards the side of wickedness. Such is a wicked man who cannot repent, has a wicked spirit and has attained the stature of wickedness.

One cannot arrive at this status of wickedness without judgment. You cannot be a wicked man if you do not have judgment, for judgement is the secret to the wicked stature. A man can also turn wicked when he does not have strength to resist an offer from Satan. As such, wickedness is a high temptation. If is not, it would not have been prophesied of Jesus that He hated wickedness but loved righteousness. It was because of this hatred for wickedness that God anointed Him with the oil of gladness (Heb. 1:9).

Wickedness is not a practice or commodity that is detestable, it is something that people will want. If it could tempt a holy angel (Lucifer) such that he desired it, then it is high. Jesus however found mercy to hate it. Wickedness is a throne of high and false judgement. Jesus had to reject a throne to earn God’s throne. God could tell Him to sit at His right hand because he hated wickedness.

In scripture, there is the compatible understanding about justice – it is a clear understanding about what is right. However, the ‘justice’ in Psa. 82:2-4 above is not for a naturally needy man. In these same verses, the ‘poor’ refer to those who are in need of help to be severed completely from Satan's strategy of wicked devices. They are the ones who are needy. If they are not poor, they will not see their need.

If the Lord (the Father) proclaimed that our Lord (Jesus) is a God on His right hand and that He hated wickedness, then He is a God (Heb. 1:3,9). This also tells us that wickedness is not an ordinary property. It is the material that constitutes iniquity. Iniquity is not an ordinary thing; it is a high dark and diabolic mystery. It is what the scripture refers to as a 'lie', even the life of the elohim that fell (2 Thess. 2:11).

When God made the heavens and the earth, He arranged creatures in their order, from beneath Him to the earth. The creatures that were directly under Him were angels, while man who was a little lower than angels, was on earth. All of them are gods (elohims), although man was not an elohim under God directly. He was a kind of elohim under angels (Heb. 2:7). Every level in the realm of creation to the highest point of the earth is a realm that is meant for an elohim.

If wickedness is a very high throne, what should solve wickedness should also be a very high throne. What constitutes the ‘throne’ is the person who seats on it. A throne signifies a manifestation of a wisdom from an entity which churns out reign and dominion, in order to bring others into subjection. Lucifer knows how to take control of a thing, even when you just give him a small space. He knows the law of temptation; he reigns by lust, and takes a man's allegiance by temptation, just like how rich men can give money to win over the allegiance of souls.

A selfless reign can be understood when God is properly read. God is taking us from a dominion and bringing us under His own dominion because of His jealousy for deliverance. He has a passion to save us. God's intent has no darkness within it at all – He has no selfishness, and His love is not for Himself but for another. There are things that God does not know, like selfishness. He rather knows selflessness. This is the law in His heart. Any man who is pure must have been purified from his old natures. God is full of pure ambitions; He is blessed forever.

(Psalm 136:1) "O give thanks unto the Lord ; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." David's declaration of God in this verse is deep. God is actually deep and selfless. His throne is not ambitious. It is impossible for us to think that someone is not selfish because we have this nature of self in us. When we judge people, it is the nature in us that is criticizing the nature in them. What we should however do is to use light to judge them. It is good to attain purity to the point where you no longer see the bad natures in someone.

Titus 1:15

"Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.”

We should not make conclusions about men in our minds but approach them with an open mind, until they reveal who they are to us. Even with this, you still have to be patient with them; this is the operation of divine love. Jesus brings people together, even when He knows their true natures. Jesus knew the day He chose Judas Iscariot as His disciple that he was a devil, but He was anticipating how to change him (John 6:70). Nonetheless, Judas did not change.

Judas Iscariot had attained a level in doing evil till it became perpetual. Jesus Christ saw through him, that he could run any errand of wickedness from Satan, even to the point of selling the Son of God for thirty pieces of silver (Matt. 26:15). This act has its origin from the being who wanted to overthrow God (Lucifer).

John. 13:27

"And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.”

It could only take Satan to make Judas sell his Lord. Satan can make a man sell God, and also arrange whom he would sell his Lord to. Some people can run Satan's errand, but this will not be our portion in Jesus’ name. As much as we pray for natural things like food, etc, we should also pray for things like the deliverance from evil (Matt. 6:13).

Evil is a throne and a wickedness. After you have been delivered from evil, the manifestation of the realms of the kingdom will become yours. Anyone who has been delivered from evil operates all kingdom realms. What the needy and the poor are looking for is deliverance (Psa. 82:4). The fatherless are the needy (Psa. 82:3).

Psalm 82:1-2

"God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. [2] How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked?”

This verse is a call to those who should occupy the seat of judgement. There is the honour of judgement, even in the new covenant. Jesus told His disciples they would sit upon twelve thrones and judge the twelve tribes of Israel (Matt. 19:28). These twelve tribes of Israel are not the Jews but the whole world. This was typified in the book of Deuteronomy, when God divided the sons of Adam according to the children of Israel (Deut. 27:12-13). As such, the twelve thrones are extensions of the throne, to do the work of judgement, although they will still be masterminded by the main throne.

God teaches gods; it is His nature to raise gods. This same character was exhibited when He planted trees in His garden. Trees represent raisings or judgements – they represent elohims (Isa. 61:3). Human beings are trees and it is God that raises them up. He raises them to become beings of judgement.

The reason God raised judges was to get men out of the hand of the wicked, especially the poor, old and needy. This is a type and shadow of the world to come, for the kingdom of God is a world of dominion. Christendom is a kingdom and there is a constant war over those who oversee the people of God. We have not yet attained a place where judges can rule the people of God. It is therefore the intent of the Father to raise ‘elohims’ who would oversee churches. Pastors ought to become elohims so that the people will be snatched from the hand of the wicked. To undo wickedness, we must have judges or people of judgement, because wickedness is also judgement.

Psalm 82:1

“God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.”

This congregation where God will stand (where He will express His totality) depicts that He wants to judge. The word ‘judge’ in this verse means a communication of how to take God’s thoughts. God blesses men with this — He infuses and imparts us with wisdom on how to take His thoughts and then teaches us how to ‘reason together’ (Isa. 1:18). When we reason together with God, He is committing His judgment to us.

In the natural world, one cannot approach a judge in the court as an accused or unlearned person; such a person is rather boxed. However, one who is an advocate can stand before a judge. An advocate is required to be learned in the matters of the law, so that he can help with mediation. This kind of order that we see on the earth is the order in the heavens. Without being an elohim, one cannot defend anyone there. Those who stand before God are those who have learnt judgement.

Psalm 1:1,4-5

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [4] The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. [5] Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.”

God will not receive or accept anyone who does not have the pedigree to stand before Him. A ‘chaff’ or a light-weighted fellow cannot learn judgement. It is godliness that will make us study, so we can be worthy to stand (2 Tim. 2:15). The purpose of godliness is so that we can have great gain. Godliness has a promise of life that now is and is to come. Its reward is a peace that God possesses and which a godly man must have before he can stand in God’s presence. Godliness is the path to life (Psalm 16:11; John 14:6). The path to Eternal Life is life and peace. Eternal Life begins with its judgement, which is called the learning of everlasting life. Whenever God stands, it is life everlasting being manifested, but when He is seated, it is life eternal being manifested.

Hebrews 8:1-2

“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens [2] A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.”

The word ‘set’ or to be seated in the verse above means to occupy an inheritance at the right hand of the Majesty in the heavens. While as minister of the sanctuary, He stands; but when He is seated, He operates in a different realm where He communicates something else. For this reason, the adversary will fight anyone who wants to attain the stature of godliness (Psa. 1:1-6). The counsel of the ungodly is a posture and program that Satan has designed for man to walk in. Whoever operates in the counsel of the ungodly is not blessed regardless of his position in the natural, even as a pastor. God can bless such a person in lesser ways like giving him natural wealth, but he will not inherit God’s blessing - which is to be godly. Godliness is not characterized by outward success in ministry. It is beyond what men judge as well-doing.

Psalm 1:2-3

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

This fruit is not the fruit of everlasting life but of Christ. When the tree stands, being fruitful in every good work, he will increase unto everlasting life — in the knowledge of God (Col. 1:9-10). Everything that Christ is – from faith to charity, life to peace, life to being a godly man, all represent fruitfulness. The fruit is to bear the resemblance of the man Christ who has defeated the intent of the law of sin and death. The intent of this law is to wear out a man, until he becomes as a chaff, and to deter him from attaining the next phase of learning.

The program of Satan for man has a devious evil intent to not attain God’s provision of redemption. Whenever a man gets to everlasting life, Satan has lost greatly. The point of arrival where one can breathe or escape from sin is everlasting life. Even at this point, the adversary still strategizes to take such a man down. Nonetheless, his life is secure in everlasting life. A Christ-man is strong, but an everlasting man is stronger. These men were all exposed to Elohim, the Judge of all. It is in everlasting life that a man will see all the secrets of Satan. Satan wants to make men chaff, but Christ will teach men not to be light, so that he can defeat the chaff formula in them (Psa. 1:4-6)

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

The only way a man can acquire everlasting life is if He has learnt Christ and become godly. God cannot resist godliness but will stand in judgement for the godly and bring them into the place that the ungodly cannot stand. Righteousness is that which only God communicates. Jesus quickly submitted to the will of the Father by dying, resurrecting, and ascending to the throne, so that when the need arises (the time of need), He would find help (Heb. 4:16).

Hebrews 4:15

"For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

We use verses of scripture for various causes, therefore, they can be interpreted differently. In this verse however, the people being referred to, whose infirmities really touch the High Priest, are the godly. They are the ones who are in need of Him. The High Priest does not show up to them as a miracle worker but reveals other dimensions of Himself to them, such as Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus the Christ, etc. The ministration of the High Priest here is for those who are being tempted to depart from life, even everlasting life.

This implies that we are being kept by the High Priest. The reason we can continue is because someone is not letting go of us. He is the One whose strength expires Satan. Paul committed a particular church into the hands of this High Priest. He also kept Timothy in Jesus' hands and as such, he could say, "...for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."(2 Tim. 1:12).

(Hebrews 4:16) Coming boldly here does not mean coming to pray but an actual movement by obedience to the demands that the throne has laid down for anyone who will obey the call. It is not everybody that can come, but those who hear his voice (Heb. 3:7). The call is from the wilderness to everlasting life. It is a call from the Holy Place to the Most Holy. It is not everyone that goes to God. It is only the godly that can come to Him.

If the quest for everlasting life is stopped in a heart, something else can take it over and become its ambition (the only thing the heart thinks about). There is a heart state that can shutdown life by treating it as secondary or with levity. Life stops the day you stop doing something about it. Even though you may be faced with challenges, you should not stop looking for life but labour to hear God's word and strive to do it. Then, you will be growing and anticipating your change.

Immediately one life stops, another life takes over. You can stop your journey into the heavens if you become negligent about acquiring life. It can be so subtle that one would not know when the switch happens, but it is really a serious movement in the realm of the spirit. You will meet some resistance along the way, but you must fight to keep journeying. The thought of letting go or leaving the faith is a subtle one.

Hebrews 4:16

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

The time of need is when the High Priest is introduced; here, God brings the revelation of the ministry of the Father. It is only the poor that can be needy. The poor here are the godly. There are the poor who are not yet in need, but there comes a time when the poor will need help. Then, he can then find grace to help at such a time. God has done so greatly in the New Testament and has not left us without a Father. When the time comes where we would need Him, He will come.

John 14:18-19

“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. [19] Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.”

When you have lived as Jesus lives, you will then know how to love Jesus. You will live to locate love. When you locate love then you will know how to love Jesus.

Walking in charity has an intent that should end up in loving God. Walking by the faith of the Son has an intent- which is the ability to lose your life. You would have the ability to hold on to God’s word. The love of this world has increased in many men; they have come to love the world more passionately because the understanding of what the world is and what it can give has increased on the earth.

Hebrews 5:1

"For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:"

Things pertaining to God are given in seasons of relating with things in God's capacity. What the High Priest wants to deal with here are things in God's capacity. Things higher than Christ are things that God ministers; these are things of judgement. Elohim is from the word 'Judge'. God's definition of judgement is different; therefore, if you do not have admittance into that realm, you are not a judge.

A judge is not someone who can solve problems, but one who must have an elevated posture in the spirit, especially in his thoughts. To be a judge, a man must be thinking like God. This is what Satan meant when he said to Eve, "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Gen. 3:5).

That tree could only tempt a god, which means Adam and Eve were some kind of elohim. If it were not so, the gift of elohim would not have tempted them. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil will mean nothing to a mere man. Adam and Eve did not lack anything naturally; they lived in paradise, yet there was a void that needed to be filled. This is why the tree could be appealing to them; it appealed to their lack. The need of a ‘needy’ man is for the removal and complete eradication of sins.

Hebrews 5:1-4

"Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity. [3] And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. [4] And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron."

No man can mediate for himself, he needs a High Priest. We need the right sense before we can stop sin. Stopping sin is a deep secret, it is a deep sense of a spirit. To stop sin, which is the mediation that High the Priest does, is to give a spiritual sense or divine sense (thinking). The two things that are needed are thinking and way. To make an everlasting covenant, the right thought and the right way must be given. The essence of a crown is to wear the mind with beautiful thoughts. These teachings are not fabricated but are being taught us by the Lamb of God. Prayer is also an investment that can aid hearing. Man needs the right education to beat sin. He needs a spiritual emissary to be taught how to overcome sin.

No man can single handedly journey to God, for he would be stopped due to how he thinks. The way man thinks is a veil, and it is Jesus that upgrades the mind and the heart. Once a man begins to think well, he would be having visits from angels. One who has Eternal Life is not a spooky man but a man with elevated thoughts.

Isaiah 55:6

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:..."

The Lord can be found, but it takes the needy to desire Him.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

The time of need is when the Father would be seen, and when men in need will arise. Then, help would have come to the whole world. If God can produce the sanctuary or godly man, men that are poor but hunger much more for everlasting bread would be invited to the throne.

(Psalm 132:15) "I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread." This scripture means God will give life in abundance. The present emphasis has opened to us many doors of blessing.

Isaiah 55:7

"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon."

The wicked here is one who has an evil conscience (Heb. 9:14). The men with evil conscience here are sanctuary sons, though they had become godly but there were still hidden things in them. This was why Paul prayed saying, "And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."(2 Tim. 4:18). Once you are able to understand judgement and develop the discernment of righteousness as against wickedness, when sin is about to appear, you will locate it and would have enough ability to stop it.

The journey to the Most Holy is a different dimension. The virgins were sleeping because they were oblivious of what is there. This is the reason they needed a High Priest. The High Priest is the Communicator of God's thoughts, an Instructor and Teacher of His way. He implants in us accurate judgement that rids us of wickedness. Majority of the church in the wilderness fell because they did not know God's ways (Heb. 3:10).

Ways can be implanted in a man and thoughts can be put in his mind. When thoughts and paths are implanted in the mind of a man, he would know what to do about evil. Immediately a man is rid of evil he would be able to think eternal thoughts. If a man is able to see evil and shun it, he has become everlasting. This everlastingness is a hidden character of a man and not the longevity of his life.

The grace that a man will find in the time of need is a gift of God, as against sin. This grace is what the High Priest is offering. A High Priest is the throne of grace in the Holy Place. When the High Priest stands in the Holy Place, He is communicating things pertaining to judgement to us. This judgement is the impartation of God because wickedness is an impartation of a false and a lying god. Righteousness and judgement are the communication of that which is faithful and true. We should keep learning and hearing because the way we defeat sin is by our raising and ability to think higher than it.

Jesus obeyed the commandments of God, lived and died by them. When you die by instruction, you are burying your former self so that you can rise according to the new ordinance you have obeyed. The posture of God is an embodiment of laws put together. Every obedience adds stature to a man. When you do obedience, you shed off something in your old nature.

No one sees God and lives. When you keep looking at God, your own fabric will wither and someone else will stand. Then, you will not remember the former things and the things of old (Isa. 43:18). Old things are satanic; former things are the things that wicked spirits created which are the originality of oldness. Old things are a perversion of the former things. Christ can deal with old things, but it will take the Son of God to deal with former things (Isaiah 43:18-19).

New things speak of new life, which is everlasting life. We are receiving gifts that will not come to many easily with all their wealth. God is giving these gifts to the poor and needy, not those who have the ability to pay money for them. The criteria for these gifts is to be poor and needy. The more we stand in the position of expectation that God has designated for us to receive things from Him, the more we would get from Him.
