The things we are coming into now are the things the Bible describes as foolishness to a natural man (1 Cor. 2:14). It is God’s determinate counsel to make these things foolish to men to preserve them. God saw the exalted mind of the world and how they think and therefore swore that they will not come into or attain these things.
“God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. [2] How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked” (Ps. 82:1-2). There would be a continuous error or wrong evaluation of the wicked when there is no discernment. A generation that cannot discern the wicked has not received mercy. This is because Satan knows the Bible and what it entails. He knows it is the only law of the universe. The Bible custodes laws of universes, both the natural and heavenly world; and all the laws that govern them are found in it. It is an archive of secrets.
An erring generation is unable to discern the wicked. Such a generation would not just be erring but would be crippled and impotent. As long as the wicked are not being discerned, the edge of Satan’s dominion will prevail. The day the stakeholders in the things of God (the body of the learned ones) can discern the wicked or prevailing of Satan’s dominion, we can now say death can no longer reign.
Eternal nature has power and its power is everlasting nature. Everlasting nature has power and the power of everlasting nature is Christ's nature. Christ is a nature, and the power of God unto salvation. The power of everlasting life is Christ. If a man is Christ, he should not lose it because this Christ is one of eternity.
God is opening the Bible, and by doing this, God is setting things of the world to come in order. The new order, the world to come, is not going to be started in the future by God. It has already started; it’s here, it’s ongoing. The nature is ongoing and is going to be done. Firstly, the alignment of the world to come is setting in order how things ought to be done before it will appear.
People are expecting that the throne will be set in the future, and God will say to each of us to take our place. But it's not going to be so. Everything that will be given to us (our future) is going to happen here. Our birthright is going to be handed to us through this preaching.
Preachers are the most delicate/priceless people on earth. But Satan is doing something against them; he is making most of them make mistakes so that people can look down on preachers. Preachers are givers of future inheritance (Eph. 3:8-9). God designed preaching to be the portal for the distribution of glory. He did it so that the right one would get it, and because of men who would despise preaching. God can fountain a well in a manner that it could be found in one spot only; and a man can travel the earth just to get it.
The issue of Christianity is not heaven or hell. It is higher than that. There is also the sharing of inheritance. Everyone here has an inheritance. The way the Father loved Jesus and wanted to give Him the throne at the highest peak is the way He loves us and has chosen us to occupy a space in His throne. It is a thing of eternal weight and is for us. Each one of us has his lot. What belongs to one is different from the other.
When Satan is trying to wear people out, it is not ordinary; he wants to cheat them eternally. But Jesus is saying that God can never lack those who will occupy the realm of praise. He is able to raise children from stones that will praise Him (Matt 3:9) - meaning He is able to carve out another Adam, because Adam is a child of the Almighty. The first Adam was taken from the dust but this time, He would go higher and take children from the Rock.
Children are those who respond to praise, those who respond to God’s call; those who are childlike. If creation refuses to praise God, God will turn to stones. And if stones should give birth to children for God, He will tell the Adamic race that it is time for them to be wiped out. This tells us that God still has an allocation in His heart, a plan B.
It is mercy to have access to what is coming to us. We are not worthy of God. The test is how to see people who will endure the appearance of the invisible. Satan cannot stand the long-suffering of God. Everything has its limited time. The day one starts preaching the invisible, the visible is already rolling away; but the visible will put up a fight. Keep preaching and keep hearing!
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” (1 Cor. 1:18). Perishing is a very great word. What Paul was hinging on here is the preaching of Christ. So one can be born again and has not heard Christ. The preaching of Christ is according to the revelation kept secret since the world began (Rom. 16:25). The preaching of the cross is the preaching of Christ. If anyone is not hearing Christ preached, I cannot exempt such that they are not perishing. It may be either at a slow rate or on a fast lane. Perishing is a gradual wear-out of a human being.
The answer to perishing starts from the new birth. Being born again is an opportunity not to perish, but that does not mean it’s impossible. Like in Hosea 4:6, when knowledge is not present in a person’s life, he cannot escape perishing. The beginning of the knowledge of God is the preaching of the cross or the preaching of Christ. Christ is the first knowledge of God. Then, the next one is the everlasting knowledge. Knowledge is life. You need life as against perishing. The answer to perishing is life (Jn. 10:10).
Your human spirit cannot make you know. Someone has to teach you to make you know. You cannot know if the soul does not know. Knowing comes from God, and Jesus has made provision against perishing. Preaching is what solves the issue. That is what we call redemption. The first preaching is Christ (life). Then you get to a place where one will not just have life but a place where one will not lose life again, because the forces of corruption attack the body that has life to lose it. Satan is a force that eats up or decomposes people. God designed preservation in a foolish manner.
God is at war with the wise and the prudent (1 Cor. 1:19). The major movers of corruption are the wise and prudent. They meticulously count existence naturally, although devilish. “Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world.” (1 Cor. 1:20). A disputer is he who stands at the gate for the world. He is an emissary of the understanding of this world. Though the world is cascading itself with a facade that it is important, in the spirit, God has punctured the world from the centre port and is waiting for the balloon to shrink, but giving it some time. The reason the world is still staying is that the right needle has not been applied to further cause the shrinking. The preaching of the cross is the antidote to the world.
“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe” (1 Cor. 1:21). It was a very wise thing that God did not allow the world to know Him by wisdom. You might have believed, but you are not saved. To save you, you need to hear things. Salvation is a deliberate work; it has been given, but it has not been received. Salvation is to be preached. To be a believer is giving you and me the ability to hear preaching, so that we can be saved.
What Jesus has promised is to build the Church. Jesus wants to build the Church until it is capacitated to stop the wicked. Jesus said, “I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail” (Matt. 16:18). That tells us the intention is for the Church to stand at a posture against hell gates. Gates of hell are gates of knowledge. Jesus’s intention for the Church is that she gets to a place where the gates of hell are not thriving.
Another translation calls gates of hell the powers of death. Gates are representatives of hell. Paul mentioned those who are likely to be gates; they are the disputers of this world - the prudent. When Satan has modelled a person and the person can be copied and emulated, or the people watch the person instead of Jesus, that person is a gate.
Satan builds stature in men by giving them a mind. The mind is a high-powered worker of the soul. The heart does things for the mind. Whenever anything goes through the mind/or becomes its preoccupation, it is already a conclusive and convincing thing -- it has become a stronghold. It can now easily be carried out. When we begin to “mind” a thing, it means it has gotten to the realm of manifestation where it can easily be pressed out, seen, known and learnt.
When a man is bearing fruits, it means he has been able to process them for manifestation. Such one has become both a user and a giver, who custodes something. Beyond becoming it, he has come into full use of the key of that life. A man is what he thinks. This further grows to become what he can give; that is, he now has the wisdom of sharing it.
Our mind is a gateway to another person. Minding a thing is spiritual; it is very important to God. God also responds to ‘mind’. Whenever He sees the mind of Christ, He will instruct it into another judgement. The mind of Christ is a fruit for God. It is an evident fruit that God uses in reaching out to a person who bears it.
Minds are gates. Our minds are not the same. It is like a storehouse. We have different kinds of thoughts therein. The mind and heart are different. This world has used our mind; the world of the mind is the imagination. “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Gen. 6:5). The thought of the heart becomes an image in the mind. Therefore, fruit is the image; it is life. When one has borne fruit, he can give another to eat. Thoughts are seeds; images are fruits. To imagine is to grow the thought; such seed is interpreting itself. Image is the expression of the thought; it is made up..
Emperors like the Prince of Persia, Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander the great, etc. were mighty trees who evil spirits perched on. These kinds of trees are respected both by the kingdom of Satan and of God. Both kingdoms desire to raise/grow trees. The pain is that we have not seen trees that are of God in the earth grow after this order. In the Old Testament, we see trees of righteousness like Melchizedec, plantings of the Lord like Noah, etc. God grew these trees for His activity. We had angelic visitations on earth in the Old Testament because of these trees. But a time came when Satan began to cut these trees until God found Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The purpose of Jacob receiving the blessing is for continuity — that he may be grafted into the patriarchal trees. Jacob escaped from his brother and found a place called Bethel where he laid a stone (his mind). He broke into a vision and saw a ladder with angels ascending and descending. These angels resumed their activities which they once carried out to some men who made them busy (engaged them). When Jacob was born into that order, they resumed them.
It is perceived that the ladder was Jacob himself. He aligned himself to their order. Satan seeks to fall this ladder (Gen. 28:1-13). A stone is a person, a material of revelation. A stone is a life (Matt. 16:18). Jacob laying his head on a stone implies that he had made a covenant with his mind, that the life of the stone would be His life. Covenant would be fulfilled in a man when it has become his mind and thoughts. When a covenant comes to the mind, it becomes a continuous activity within it (Heb. 8:1; 10:16).
Jesus said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18). This means Jesus depends on a church that will shut down the gates of hell. That word “I will build” looks like an impossible task because of the assault of such a church. To be able to build a church like that, it means all hell will fight it. This is a church that will not accept the person of the wicked. A church that will discern the person of the wicked is a church that will not allow the continuous dominion of the power of death, or the spread of the power of Satan.
Death reigns when there is nothing to stop it. If there is something on ground that has the ability to stop death, death won’t strive. God raised a man called Moses and scripture said death reigned till the time of Moses (Rom. 5:14). This means that the reign of death ceased at the time of Moses. One can ask that, does that mean Abraham didn’t stop death? In their days, death didn’t come at once with its deluge; it started reigning bit by bit until it overcame.
A time came that death expanded. Death didn’t expand in Eden; it was quarantined until Cain came. When Cain was born, death had obstructions through the lineage of Seth down to Noah. In Genesis 6, death prevailed, and the imaginations of man became death in a pattern. God was not interested in killing people; His desire was to stop death, that’s why He took away the flesh from the earth. Then, God began to raise a new generation, but death saw Ham and began to perpetuate through him.
At the time of Moses, God used the wisdom that man should no longer stay in one spot. God saw staying in one place as a disadvantage to the fall of man, as man had become weak. “And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech” (Gen. 11:1). So a dimension of death prevailed over man, and one man convinced men not to serve God anymore. It gave men a duty outside that of God; they began to build bricks of Babylon. God stopped that job by scattering their language, then distributed them to all parts of the world.
A nation whose pleasure is no longer in God is a nation where death has prevailed. Lack of interest to be submissive to God, when other things have taken your time and have become pleasurable, is death. The greatest sacrifices are sacrifices to leave pleasure to look for God. Pleasures are Edens. Satan’s Eden is death. He has taught men to love clubs more than their homes. Great sacrifices can only be offered by one who can leave pleasure to look for God.
The prevailing of the wicked is their acceptability (Ps. 8:2). The reason why we accept them is that they had prevailed. God is going to raise a church that will not allow the wicked to prevail. Immediately churches begin to rise who no longer accept the persons of the wicked, Satan will know that his reign is being cut down and cut short.
What the Church of Christ needs is ‘Elohims’ (Gods) who will raise the church capacity as against hell gates. Hell gates are emissaries. Evil is in such a way that one can accommodate them. Another word for evil is wicked. “...And how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars” (Rev. 2:2). These are two gates (them that are evil, and them which say they are apostles and are not) that the Church did not allow to prevail.
These apostles aren’t ordinary men, they were sent ones, but they had an agenda to actually tilt that Church away from the doctrine of God. Why? Someone raised them and sent them to cause a deviation. As long as evil messengers are not being allowed in a church, you will cut down the advantage of Satan on a community because Satan governs and thrives by the thoughts he pushes. Any church that has not matured to a place where she can judge hell, hell will enter into it. We need eyes to discern hell. Some people have thought the Church to be a group of people coming together who are friendly, share and solve problems. That’s not Church. The Church was raised against Satan. It’s to take down gates and cut down Satan’s dominion.
To stop perishing, God needs to show mercy upon churches so that they will prevail and raise manpower who can take him down. It is a lot of success and achievement if an apostle in a place is able to reach a good number of people in a community, and teach them how to grow above death, recognize it and not allow it in their lives.
That which is evil is that which can stand against God’s ultimate purpose. God’s ultimate purpose is to give man life unto Eternal Life. God is a life-giver. However, Satan does not want man to have life and all that he does is so that man will not have life. An evil tree is that which perpetuates itself in a particular wisdom. It offers a gift that is easily acceptable to you that can go through you but has an everlasting consequence which is to cut you off from your promise. This is evil!
Some men have such fruits because of how they have perpetuated their minds. Satan is more interested in men of God than in unbelievers. He wants to make pastors evil. Pastors have more temptations to become evil. It is evil when a pastor begins to think that meeting people’s needs is more important than preaching Eternal Life to them, or when he despises the preaching of Eternal Life for this purpose. God can go through any means to solve a man’s problem; He does not need Eternal Life to do it.
It is evil to place natural needs above what God wants. Some people think that it is those who are rich that need to learn Eternal Life and not those who are poor. However, such do not know that giving Eternal Life to a soul means giving him back his life, for that is his birthright. Many ministers are departing from the living God because they have misarranged priorities. Instead of pushing Eternal Life, such men have become like charity and humanitarian needs providers. God did not raise the Church to provide humanitarian needs.
Those who do not value eternal life will not see it as something that will make them valuable on earth. These are part of the things that steal people away from God. They create an evil heart of departure. To depart from the living God is to stop doing things that will make you attain his life.
You are a backslider when you decide to leave the pursuit of God and start pursuing other things on this earth. A real fool is one who does not value Eternal Life. Men who have died and are in the realm of eternity know the real value of these things. These humanitarian things do not count in the sight of God because he did not create man for that purpose. He made man so that he will have life and grow in stature spiritually. Jesus is after the reign of Satan; He is a warrior, and he wants to cut down and humble Satan completely.
The angel of the Lord is distributing a savour upon churches. This savour will enter into their hearts, and they will begin to have a different feeling, such that they can tell that there is more to life.
