Believers' Convention 2022 (Day 6 - Morning Session)

Date: Thursday, 12th August 2022

The Lord is raising us to be governmental. He is raising a people with apostolic and prophetic mentality. We are not just counting days and times, therefore, every moment of our lives must count in the reckoning of heaven. We must be people who discern times and seasons and who are constantly engaging divine counsel. We must see time as an opportunity to give expression to the kingdom intent and agenda of God on the earth. We must be people who stand at the threshold of time, orchestrating spiritual climate and atmosphere. We must be a people who through faith and prophetic accuracy, are able to shut down the gates of hell and open up windows of heavens. We must be people influencing and orchestrating our atmosphere. We must also be people terminating doors and enforcing the will of God in the earth.

There are many people who want to walk in the realm of power, in the prophetic, and experience the supernatural. But if our feet are not firmly rooted in the word, we would accommodate strange spirits. God is not going to entrust the destiny of nations into the hands of people who are not well grounded in the spirit. He does not want people who cannot engage the word. Therefore, our allegiance to the word must be prioritized because it is the basis of our spirituality. Without being furnished by the word, strengthened with might by the Spirit of God in our inner man and constantly feeding on the word, we will not make progress in the spirit.

We must be cultured by the word. If the spirit of God is not in you, you will not have the culture of the kingdom. Therefore, if you are not empowered by the word, the Spirit of God will not be at work in you. The basis for which the Spirit of God works on us is the atmosphere that comes by the understanding of the word. If we break ethics in life and ministry, we can be disqualified and will not go far in our journey towards God.

We must be a people who understand by the books (Dan. 9:2). The Lord wants us to know that the foundation for authentic spirituality and prophetic accuracy is the knowledge of the truth. You will not touch the prophetic or the spiritual realm without the word. In this move of the spirit, the word and the spirit would go hand in hand, for the Lord will restrain the spirit without the word. The Lord is bringing such an atmosphere upon us that will trigger the download of the prophetic, even the download of the determinate counsel of God and His prophetic intent and initiatives. The prophetic will prompt in us the capability to discern times and seasons. Therefore, the Lord will have us get ready. We should not just desire encounters, visions and revelations. Rather, we must desire the word of the Lord that enlightens us with the counsel of God and triggers the understanding of times and seasons.

There are certain divine counsels that are lingering and the Lord is awakening our senses of prophetic urgency. Therefore, it is no more time to be laid back but to open up to the Spirit of God. The reason we must be intensely prophetic is because the time is short and heaven is ready to come to earth to bring down the dragon. Heaven is ready and waiting to bring deliverance to the nations, but none of these would happen without the Church. This is because the Church is the outlet of the kingdom. Therefore, we must desire deep things of God.

When the Lord reveals His word to us, it must bring in us a new sense of urgency and drive us to the place of consecration. There is a call of heaven for consecration and the times we have come into require our consecration unto the Lord. The Lord is seeking to find companions in us. He seeks people to whom He can unburden His intent, desire and agenda. Therefore, we must deliberately spend time before the Lord on the basis of the unveiling kingdom mysteries that He entrusts to us. The unveiling of kingdom mysteries is not for show or fanfare. We should be excited about what the Lord is saying but every encounter, revelation and insight must be driven by consecration.

Consecration is first about the attitude of the heart; it is about the transparency of the heart. We should respond to every prophetic encounter and unveiling of the mystery of the kingdom with consecration because it is consecration that opens up the depth of our hearts.

We will never gain access to the kingdom without repentance. Repentance does not mean feeling bad. It is godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Cor. 7:10). True sobriety brings us to the place where we make decisions and refuse some things. Then, we can allow the Spirit of God to make adjustments within us. There is no shift in the heavens without a change in the heart. Repentance paves the way for the Spirit to begin to operate in us and expose tendencies and desires in us that are not in alignment with the will of God.

It takes the spirit of repentance for the word of God to penetrate our souls (Heb. 4:12). Sometimes, it is so subtle until He brings us to the place of brokenness. To be broken is to be foolish. Such a person does not feel entitled to anything. Brokenness is not in speech but in the formation of the heart.

Oftentimes, God shows His strength through His word. Many times, we just receive the word and do not process it but God wants us to have an inquisitive attitude in the spirit. The Lord also wants us to constantly be people who are discerning the body of Christ. We should not judge the Church, no matter its frailty or inadequacy. Christ died for His Church and He has released His word. This word will stand through the contradictions and limitations of life. It is a strong prophetic world that will defy the order of life.

God wants us to carry the burden of cleansing and the preparation of the Bride of Christ with mercy and compassion. This however does not mean that we should endorse lawlessness. We must come to the place where the pain and stigma of the Church are also ours. It takes a large dosage of love and a forgiving spirit to have this. This is how mercy and compassion is cultured. There is no forgiving spirit without provocation. We need a forgiving and compassionate heart, but it takes process to arrive here.

It is not enough to just have revelation; you should also be able to apply it. Therefore, you need insight and wisdom for application. It is one thing to receive revelation and another thing to discern what God wants to do with it and how He wants to work it out. Transgression, sin and iniquity (Dan. 9:24) are the things that are holding us back. Transgression, sin and iniquity have a software called lust. It does not matter how good our intentions and moral disciplines are, if lust is intact, you will be helpless. What Gabriel is doing with the Church these last days is to bring skill and understanding, and supply of the spirit, so that we would have the wisdom to uninstall the software of sin, transgression and iniquity.

“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” (1 John 2:17). The software of the world is lust. It is the foothold of the dragon. As long as lust is intact the Church can concede ground. The Church cannot lose the battle because Christ has won, but we can concede ground. We however have to stop conceding ground to the enemy. One thing the devil tries to do is to distract and derail us from doing the will of God. But as we keep doing the will of God, the devil will be doomed. The dimension in which we will end up after this is called foreverness.

God needs to implant the program of the ‘above’ in our souls, for this is the essence of salvation. The salvation of our souls allows the spirit of God to implant the everlasting realm (the above realm) within our souls. Then, you will become an embodiment or a being of the above realm. There is no opposition of darkness that will withstand the pleasure of God in such a person. He cannot be pulled or tempted by the earthly because the earthly loses its attraction towards such a person. God has altered his inward composition in the spirit.

“When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” (Col. 3:4). We must anticipate the appearing and coming of the Lord and expect that whenever he will appear, we will appear with Him also. We are not allowed to appear with Him in glory if He does not appear. His unveiling or revelation must be tangibly entrenched within us. We must uninstall the software upon which the world and the kingdom of darkness thrive.

Whenever angel Gabriel shows up, he comes to activate insights and understanding of the revelation of the law. He triggers an atmosphere that allows for the supply of the spirit to uninstall the software of sin and iniquity in us. Whenever he shows up, everlasting righteousness is activated (Dan. 9:24). The word 'everlasting' in Hebrew is ‘Olam’ and it means the endlessness and limitlessness of God. God wants to incorporate us in this, but this will not happen without righteousness. Truly, we have received and obtained the gift of righteousness in Christ Jesus, for He who knew no sin was made sin for us so that through Him, we can obtain the righteousness of God. This is our status or standing with God (2 Cor. 5:21) but in our journey, we must imbibe righteousness.

Righteousness must not only be who God says we are. It must also be the composition or configuration of our essence. Righteousness in Hebrew is translated ‘zedek’ and it means ‘justice’ or ‘rightness standards’. This means that we do not come into God’s righteousness (the image and stature of righteousness, not just the gift of righteousness) without being subjected to the word of God. The word of God is meant to fine-tune and enlighten us so that we can come to a posture where we release ourselves to the will of God. Sometimes, this is the whole purpose of God’s dealings and tribulations. If we are attentive in the spirit, we will find that our dealings are an avenue for God to work out something. Then, we can let God have His way. This will bring us to a place where we do not struggle but align with His will; this is righteousness.

Righteousness means to be in a place of alignment with the will of God. This is when the justice of God is achieved and when God can give you entrance. For us to have entrance, God wants to see this requirement of righteousness in us. Righteousness is what is required for us to be in harmony with the glory of God. We do not come into inheritance or enter into the everlasting dimensions of God without righteousness.

At these times, Gabriel is going to empower the Church to seal the vision, even the dimension that heaven is bringing to the church. Gabriel instructed Daniel to anoint and seal the vision so that the Most Holy would not be accessed. But at these times, he is coming for a different mission — he is coming for the Church to unseal the vision. One of the things that the Lord is going to use His messenger to do is to strengthen and energize the Church to take the necessary walk and press through the process.

Daniel is a type of believer whom the Lord is raising in the last days, even a believer who would wield authority in the realm of the spirit. By virtue of what takes place in the realm of the earth, through the word of the Lord, we will wage war and cause a shift in the heavens. This shift will prompt a change of leadership, civilization and times on the earth. This is why God is sending Michael to us.

Anytime God sends Michael there is usually war, unlike Gabriel who is sent to proclaim the determinate counsel of God, like the birth of the Messiah. The Lord wants us to know that in these last days or end of the age, the ministry of Michael will become prominent. We are the people who will take territories, bring down spirits and to whom the nations are opening. This is why it is the hour of Michael. He will instigate war in the heavens and bring war to the host of hell and the onslaught of darkness in the earth. Therefore, when we begin to see the evil rain, we should not be scared.

The body of Christ is coming to the same era as the church in Pergamos (Rev. 2:12-13), where they were experiencing bombardment. There are certain unusual battles that will be fought. Therefore, we must be battle ready because it is time to solidify our convictions. It is time to get ready because things will unfold and the Church will need Michael in the waging of this battle.

 Blessings!
