Being Quickened in the Order of Everlasting Life (WTV)

Tongues and Interpretation 1

“He is in here. He Himself is in here; for He is come to take you all up. He is come to take you all up; ye, not only those of you who are here but as many that are connected. He is come to help you take steps up. He is here, with a mandate, with a purpose. He is in here to help.”

Everlasting life has been in the scriptures but we have to get to certain junctions to be able to understand it (Eph. 1:18). Everlasting does not mean living forever but refers to a quality of life. The present arrangement sets us back in understanding spiritual things. Our present arrangement prevents us from coming into the understanding of spiritual things. This arrangement is not just in the physical but also in our minds. We think everlasting is to live forever on earth and in this state where we are struggling with sin.

Our biggest problem is in things that are seen - they are the things that stop us. We will never have everlasting sense if we keep looking at the things that are seen because the things that are seen are temporal. All that the church has dwelt on are things that are temporal; so, it is easy for us to be tossed to and fro. Those things are not everlasting things or things that abide.

The things that are seen, which are temporal, make up our biggest problem. The things that are not seen are not just invisible but eternal. It will take everlasting sense to appreciate eternal things. You will not appreciate or even see eternal life without everlasting sense.

The Father loveth the Son and has given Him all judgement (John 3:35). There is a way the Lord sees things and it is different from the way man sees things. His judgements are high and they are needed to abide, lest we will be moved. We need judgement to abide. A man who is not abiding lacks this judgement. We need this judgement for eternal life.

These eternal things are not even in heaven. We need the mind of God, of the high priest, to see them; because before Him, all things are naked before the eyes of Him with whom we have to do (Heb. 4:13).  These eyes are not physical, but rather eternal. He can move to realms and fetch things that appear from there. This is His state as the ascended Lord. His mind is large. He is not just managing the church, or moves, or generations, or fellowships, or humanity. He is the head of the church. All souls are His.

Tongues and Interpretation 2

“Immortality clothed, clothed with light invisible, even from creation. Even the high master, even the Lord of all things, the holder of the treasure of the Godhead, the explanation of eternal power and the Godhead, the raising of the eternal Father and the Godhead. He is a high judgment, His eyes are as sharp, sharper than the two-edged sword. I bring you to His life, to His reasoning, to bring you to fellowship with Him and the fellowship of Him. I will unveil Him. I am unveiling Him. I bring you to His judgment and to the reasoning that you may fellowship with things everlasting and of God.”

Jesus is managing the household of God; not just men, but all things. He is the administrator of all things. He is also the one in charge of the world to come; this is where He would be managing. This is our Lord. He can do this and still be mindful of us, up to knowing the number of hairs on our head (Matt. 10:30).

One who is questioning what everlasting life will give to him is dull. However, he who is making you think this (satan) is not dull. This is why when he tackles us. It will only take an everlasting one (our Lord) to deliver us.

The whole book of John is about the everlasting. John recorded what Jesus taught about the cup (His flesh and His blood). When His disciples heard this, they concluded that this was a hard saying (John 6:60). So, if we find this issue of everlasting life hard to understand, we are not the first to conclude that this issue of everlasting life is a hard saying. The gospel is a mystery (Eph. 6:19). Some of Jesus’ disciples stopped following Him when He brought the issue of the cup; because it is in the place of the cup that decisions are made (John 6:66). Jesus is everlasting and would not have minded starting again; He was not afraid of losing followers.

Jesus is the one who had the word of life. It is the word of life that is going to be spoken to us; words of everlasting life. Blessed are your ears that you have heard this ( (Matt. 13:16)). This means that the Father has ordained us to hear these words. We are not hearing them mistakenly; rather, they arranged for us to stumble on this rock of offence. God has already foreknown that we have a part in this.

Blessed are you when you hear these things. Jesus said, “My flesh is meat indeed” (John 6:55). This was beyond physical bread and wine. He gave them this at the level they were, which was for the remission of their sins. However, there is more to it. We are all given to know the mystery of the kingdom (Matt. 13:11). We have to know them and they will be spoken to us in words. But his disciples were looking for bread (things that were seen).

The reason for the bringing of things of everlasting life through the teaching or doctrine of the Father into the church is so that we can be raised. God is not the God of the dead but of the living. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Luke 20:37-38). This tells us that these men were raised because for God to be your God, you must have been raised. This death is not a physical one but death as works. Death as works are in various degrees. God will not come to you until you are raised above the bars of death. No iota of death must be found in you when God is coming to you. Nothing of the adversary must be found in you (John 14:30).

We have to be raised, and one place where this must happen must be in our sense – how we judge; how we see. Death is a work; it is a mystery. When it is done in a man, he can be carrying it about and will not know.

John 5:21

“For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.”

The dead here are not the physically dead because there are also the spiritually dead. God is more interested in raising the spiritually dead. Abraham was a man whom God gradually began to raise. God preached the everlasting gospel to him. When God finishes raising you, He will quicken you. Quickening is higher than being raised. Rasing is a process of bringing in the everlasting gospel.

John 6:38-40

“For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. [39] And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. [40] And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Father gave Him what makes for quickening. You will not experience quickening if you do not have things. It is the substances that the Father will see and quicken. God raises you by giving you substances. They kept giving Abraham substances and his soul lived. Then, it means God should quicken. God will not quicken the things of man but the things of God. What He will quicken are the things of God. They were the things that Jesus kept and He did not lose any.

The things that the Father was giving to Jesus were works that were being done. Many times, we lose things. We have to be careful not to lose things. What they quicken are things of theirs; therefore, there has to be things in us before they quicken us. God's will for us is that we do not lose anything that is given to us. What we are keeping is what is going to qualify us to be quickened.

John 6:40

“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

The last day is not the end of the world. It is the day between you as what you are and you crossing to immortality. However, before you can cross, it is those things you have kept that can bring you to your last days as a man. When They bring you to the other side, you are no more a man but would have been known as you are known (1 Cor. 13:12). There is a way you are known and God will raise it up at the last day. Jesus held everything that the Father gave Him till the last day, when He crossed.

The work of God is to believe on Him that was sent of Him. We first believe on Him before we have everlasting life. Everlasting life is meant to raise your soul - your thoughts and conversation - above the bars of death because at the time of quickening, they do not quicken death. Jesus will raise such a one as the Father raised Him.

By virtue of recent speakings, God wants to raise us above death and above the dragon because this is the will of the Father. What happened to the man-child company was not that they left their bodies and went to the throne of God. It was that they were raised; and that something happened to their inward configuration. However, the process of raising them in the womb was to take them beyond the reach of the dragon.

The dragon can look like a being that is difficult to deal with, but he is an angel. He is a creature and he has an end. We are however entities of the world to come. Satan is not written in the world to come; he is irrelevant there, so he is fighting to keep this world. However, God wants to raise us above the first creation. This is not impossible, they are already doing it in us.

The mountain of Moriah was the last day for Abraham and after that, there was nothing else. Then, God could say that “seeing he had not withheld his only son from Him” (Gen. 22:12). God will not come till the dead have been raised. He did this to Abraham and Abraham crossed and that was his end. We should desire to see our last day, and to cross to the days where God is all in all; because the things in us are things that have been quickened. The strength of the things that God wants to take from us are in things that are temporal; but God wants to raise us above those things, like He did Jesus (John 6:39).
