Transcript Excerpts

The Lord wants to take us further into the spirit aspect of knowledge called “doctrine”. This is the point where we gain skill in the spirit for the things that we have gained knowledge of. However, both realms (knowledge and doctrine) are being dispensed through the power of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit can minister knowledge to us, and He can also minister doctrine to us. But it is not easy for a man to have access to doctrine; this is why it must be by the Spirit.

“Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.” (1 Pet. 1:2). Sanctification here means separation. Although there are different degrees of sanctification in the scriptures, this is a high sanctification that takes place in the Sanctuary (Holy Place). A man should get to a place where the activities of the temple of God are operating inside him while he is sojourning here on earth; this is why God wants us to experience the activity of the Sanctuary in our souls. The Spirit of God knows the discipline in the Sanctuary and can measure it to a man by leading him and causing him to enter into the Sanctuary.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…” (1 Pet. 1:3). There is a Sanctuary lesson that a soul can learn in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, there is the resurrection of Jesus Christ "from the dead'' and there is also that which is "of the dead". Our Lord Jesus is the "first begotten of the dead" (Rev. 1:5); this is a higher calling than the resurrection "from the dead". The resurrection of Jesus has been packaged by God the Father as a lesson that a soul can learn. A man can learn how to be raised from the dead; this is a higher lesson than a man who has an anointing to raise those who are physically dead. The resurrection of Jesus "from the dead" ends with the doctrine of God in the Sanctuary (Holy Place).

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death…” (Philipp. 3:10). This resurrection is a place that can be attained on earth. Someone can die physically and be raised but might not have attained this resurrection of the dead. Any saint that has been sanctified by the Spirit has been raised "from the dead" while still living on earth. Although the spirit of a believer is raised to sit together with Christ at new birth (Eph. 2:6), his soul is still dead. Thus, the first lesson for the soul is to be raised "from the dead". This is when you learn the lesson of sanctification.

“The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding Shall remain in the congregation of the dead.” (Prov. 21:16). It is understanding that determines a man’s state in the spirit. One who is not enlightened in the realm of the spirit is congregating with the dead. A man’s understanding is what defines him in the realm of the spirit. There are things that defile, and one may not know such things because of a lack of understanding. One may be attending church but still be absent from the congregation of the living.

It is by journeying that God took the Hebrew church away from wandering in the congregation of the dead to arrive at the congregation of the living (Heb. 12:22-24). Mount Zion is called the city of the living God because those who are found there are living souls. The blood of sprinkling that speaks better things is present there (Heb. 12:24). As those in this church were being led, they first came into separation and then sanctification. This is equivalent to the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Jesus bought access to the knowledge of God. In the New Testament, the knowledge of God is tied to the knowledge of resurrection. They are packaged into lessons in the spirit, and they are not obvious to many men. Faith is a resurrection lesson. When a man is living by faith, he is being raised "from the dead" in his soul.

When a man is born again, he is saved in his spirit. As such, the spirit of such a man, not his soul, is raised through Jesus. This is because resurrection has not been worked out in the man's soul via his participation. We are raised in Christ Jesus at the new birth (Eph. 2:4-6), but we cannot sit where Jesus is sitting presently if we do not overcome via the participation of our souls in resurrection  (Rev. 3:21). A man cannot assume that he is already raised in his soul, for such a person must learn by experience of the Spirit. After we were saved, our Lord Jesus did things for us without our participation. Jesus died for every man on earth, but a man must believe the message before the new birth experience is activated in him. God does not force blessings on men, we must be willing and obedient. At the new birth, there was an experience of resurrection in the spirit but not in the soul. This is because the birth of the 'spirit' is immediate while that of the 'soul' is gradual.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Eph. 2:10). Every believer has been created to do good works; they are so important that God had to ordain them for believers to walk in them. A believer cannot escape these works in order to be raised. It is a work for a man to be raised from the dead. To attain the resurrection 'of' the dead, a man must first walk and be raised 'from' the dead in his soul. Walking in the spirit is the same as being raised. If God measures walk for a man and he obeys, he will be raised.

The angel told Ezekiel to measure a thousand cubits and when he did, the water began to rise (Ezek. 47:3-5). He took steps until he was wholly immersed in the water; he had been raised by the walk he had measured. It became a water that nobody could walk but swim. Just as Christ was raised from the dead, we also should walk. It means that resurrection power has been converted into walk energy. When a believer takes steps in the spirit, he is being raised.

To raise a man is to raise his heart and quicken him to fellowship with a certain understanding that he was previously separated from. We should allow God to lead us in this end time, for as many are being led by the spirit, they are the sons of God (Rom. 8:14). We are professionals of good works that God has ordained for us to walk in. What the body of Christ needs is to walk, for we cannot defeat our foes without walking. Just as Israel kept walking and went through all their experiences until they possessed their possessions, we should also keep walking. Our legs in the spirit are not ordinary, thus, we should keep walking. A time will come when we develop feet that can tread upon the lion, adder, young lion and dragon. As such, we should never stop walking. As we walk, our inheritance will come, so we should never fear. Feet are dangerous in the spirit. Being without feet in the spirit is like a man with a curse.

To raise the church is not to raise physical buildings, but to raise men in their thoughts. The weapons of ministers of the gospels will be changed to raise men. God will give insight to understand the DNA of the graveyards and it will be assaulted. Thoughts of men will be raised from the dead. According to the design of the soul, there is no way the dead will be raised without the cooperation of the soul. This cooperation is the willingness of the soul to obey. A soul that is unwilling to obey will remain in death. It is death that makes men argue against the word of life, thus, arguing against their resurrection.

All forms of resurrection have works attached to them. Resurrection lessons are works that a man must walk. Walk is important, for it makes God happy. In the natural, a child who is not walking will make the parents unsure of his destiny. It does not matter how long we have been in the Christian faith, if we have never walked in the spirit, we have not grown spiritually.

This Believers’ Convention is going to rest on teaching people how to walk until our readiness to walk becomes heightened and strengthened. We should walk while it is yet day (John 9:4). We should not let this opportunity to pass us by because darkness is coming. The Lord shall give us light, and it is the light that makes our day. We have the opportunity of a day upon us; it is the season of understanding what work we should do. In the day of Jesus, He was seeing the Father walking and He was doing likewise. When the season of God passes, another season takes it over. Walking is fulfilling prophecy.

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts…” (2 Peter 1:19). When a man’s day is full, his work is done. God is calling us to come walk a day with Him, for we are in the day of salvation. It is in the time accepted that we meet the High Priest to succor us. The day of salvation is the day of walk. Salvation is a day. God is giving us a day and that day is our salvation. We should walk in the day of salvation; we should walk while it is day.

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” (John 9:4). God will quicken us because we also need to quicken people. He will quicken us to a place where we can comprehend seasons of God. God is quickening because the day is the Father’s domain for walk. God boasted of His work when He raised our Lord Jesus. Jesus said that the work is to believe on Him that is sent. God is injecting our reasoning to see this day and hold it tangibly. This day will come upon us and become our day.

God is enlarging the hearts of ministers to raise some who are dead in churches. God will teach ministers the ability to be patient. Some ministers get discouraged when they see some manifestation of the dead, but God will quicken all ministers. Amen.
