God is saying He wants to raise lions. He wants to give birth to lions. God knows how to give birth to lions. God is a Lion and He wants to make us lions. There are things or properties that make a lion. God is making/birthing lions amidst us. Our Lord Jesus became a Lion through the ministration of the Father to Him. The Father developed the lion-like nature inside the Son. What God breeds in His presence are lions, and it is through the ministration of the Spirit. The ministration of the Spirit takes a shorter time to get things done than the ministration of the word.

The Father is breeding lions. There is no one that can become a lion except he is firstly a lamb. The nature of the lion is a promise that is reserved for us when God is making us lambs. The lion nature cannot be driven without the lambic nature. “And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” (Revelation 5:6). The Lamb here is the highest status of a lamb. It is a different kind of Lamb. However, there is another kind of lamb that John the Baptist described. “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29). This Lamb John was describing is another one; it is called “Amnos”.

The feast we are having is the feast of Amnos i.e. the feast of the everlasting lamb of God. Jesus was Amnos at Jordan but God was taking Him somewhere, to become Arnion. 'Arnion' means a little lamb or a lambkin.  Jesus went from a bigger lamb to a smaller lamb. The most powerful is the smaller one. So the Eternal Lamb was a further compression of the everlasting lamb that walked the face of the earth. We must strive to know our Lord Jesus very well.

There are laws that will raise us to become lambs. At New Birth, we are baby lambs in Christ, but the kind of (little) Lamb in the book of Revelation is different. There is a lamb that is just born but has not started eating anything but milk; such lambs should be fed with milk until they become sheep. Many pastors are not yet pastoring sheep, they are pastoring lambs. There is need for the full measure of the Holyghost to get a lamb to become a sheep.

The church in the book of Acts had to select seven men who were full of the Holyghost (i.e., fed from lamb to sheep) to handle the serving of tables without partiality (Acts 6:1-5). The Hebrew Christians were treating the Grecian christians with partiality because they were lambs who had not been well fed with the milk of the word, though they spoke in tongues. So, it means that those people distributing could not overcome the nature of partiality - this tells that they had not been sealed in the name of the Holy Ghost (Eph. 1:13). So, the apostles decided to choose men who could serve the tables without partiality.

“And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:” (Acts 6:5). The multitude were the ones who chose the seven, not the Holy Ghost. It means that the disciples know themselves. When a man is full of the Holy Ghost, he has developed an honest report. The seven people who were chosen did not just have faith; they were full of the Holy Ghost. These seven were not lambs, they had become sheep that can learn Christ. It can only take a sheep to learn Christ.

“When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God…” (Acts 7:54-55). One must have experienced some conversion to be full of the Holy Ghost at this level. The Holy Ghost level will not rise in a man when his nature is not changing. The wine of the Holy Ghost will not be given to a man beyond his nature.

A baby lamb is fed until it becomes a sheep. This sheep is fed to become a more matured sheep. Then, the next feeding of the sheep is to turn it back into a lamb. God does not receive sheep but lambs. It will take a mature sheep to agree to be a lamb. Our Lord Jesus did not remain as a sheep, He became the lamb of God. The Passover feast produces the lamb of the first year. An everlasting lamb is a lamb of the first year. There are two days in God: God and the only true God. The condescension of God to the everlasting realm is His first day. A lamb of the first year is not a one-year-old lamb but a lamb with the first life of God. This first life is everlasting life. Everlasting life breeds lambs. God needs sheep that are ready to become lambs.

God wants to raise children to become men in understanding, he would then convert them back to being little children (Matt. 18:1-4). A baby lamb cannot handle such conversion because he does not have the sense of the responsibility of becoming small in accordance with the description of God’s kind of lamb.

There is a lamb that takes away the sin of the whole world; this is the everlasting lamb of God. This is the peak of the life of our Lord Jesus on earth (which coincided with His death) that dealt with sin. Then the everlasting life of our Lord Jesus expired. He was slain to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory, and blessing (Rev. 5:12). The Lamb was slain in His soul; our Lord Jesus allowed the law of kill. It is only God who knows how to kill such lambs; a man cannot kill such lambs. The wisdom given to our Lord Jesus here in Rev 5 is not the type that was given to Solomon; this is the wisdom that is purely of God.

“Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” (Rev. 5:12). These attributes are the attributes of a lion. There is a measure of a lion in everlasting life, but this dimension is way beyond that. This kind of lion should not be disobeyed. This is the lion that will burn Satan. This lion is dangerous; we should fear Him.

We should grow from being lambs, to becoming sheep, and a more matured sheep; and then from sheep to lamb again. Then we will be able to receive eternal glory. It is in the ministration of eternal glory that we see God’s eternal face to receive His eternal name on our foreheads (Rev. 22:4).

God has given us grace. God does not just make his face shine; He will also be gracious to us. Grace is a spirit; it is not just a word. It is a commodity in God. It is a law. There is firstly grace and then peace. Peace is an established grace. Grace is what will make us overcome evil spirits because they have a fallen or perverted grace. Where sin abounded, grace will abound much more. Knowledge is a door to grace. All the ministrations we have had brought grace in different measures. Tonight is a sealing. We have a lion who knows how to remove wrong laws from the body. Our bodies will become living. We will follow God’s direction. Everything dead in our houses (bodies) will begin to have life and function.
