Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministry (EGFM)
Programme: Writing The Vision Prayer Meeting - Day 1
Date: Monday, 16th May 2022
Minister: Reverend Kayode Oyegoke
The ministry of the High Priest is not in operation until the season of the impartation of everlasting life has come. The High Priest is raised for the promise of Eternal Life (1 John 2:25). It is the ministry of the Holy Ghost to form Christ in us. However, in Eternal Life, there must be an appearance of the High Priest. Appearance is a ministry. The High Priest will not appear while Christ is still being formed in us. This is because He appears for the purpose of a higher life.
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world…” (Titus 2:11). A believer has to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts so that he can live the way God wants him to live. Every man needs to ease on the activities of this world – this is soberness. If a man is not sober, he will waste his strength in the haste of the world.
We need to learn how to live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world. This means that a sober life and a righteous life are lower than a godly life. The godly life is a promise of Christ. One who has become godly has encapsulated the promise of the life called Christ and is ready for the life that is to come, which is both everlasting and Eternal Life.
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ…” (Titus 2:13). This is the life which is to come. The blessed hope is everlasting life. Everlasting life is the hope of Eternal Life; it is the life of Eternal Life. In other words, everlasting life is the power of Eternal Life. The glorious appearing of the great God is not speaking of everlasting life, but Eternal life.
“For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.” (James 1:24). It cannot be said of a believer that he is blessed indeed unless he has beheld and not forgotten. This is so that the work would be fully done and he can be blessed indeed. We are unable to do what we hear because we forget. A man can see and not behold. As such, we should not stop at seeing, but we must move to the point where we behold. One who can behold is a doer of the work.
A mirror is what a man gives himself to. What a man gives himself to and engages himself in is a life. When a man lays down his ambitions, it is because a mirror has been projected to him. When a mirror is laid before a man and the man decides to live for it, it is difficult to disengage such a person. The Lord has helped us to find a mirror of perfect liberty. We are beholding the law of God for us to do the will of God (James 1:25).
The word of life is what we have been called to behold. We cannot handle the word of life except we have beheld it, and one cannot behold unless he has seen with his eyes. To see with the eyes is to discern and know. When one sees, he decides to change by walking. Service begins when beholding starts.
“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life…” (1 John 1:1). Satan has a beginning mind; he sprouted from the beginning (Isa. 14:12). Cherubims are completely made from the beginning because they had to handle things from the beginning. Sin is a product of the beginning. As such, no angelic life can wipe it out.
Satan had what was required to fellowship with God. To fellowship is to share common thoughts; it is a calling into something sacred. One cannot just come into a fellowship; one has to be brought into it by fellows. However, before fellows bring one into a fellowship, they have to first meet the Head of the order – Christ and God.
“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. [4] And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.” (1 John 1:3-4). It is only a fellow that can bring one into fellowship. If John does not grant one access into his fellowship with the Son, then Jesus cannot permit such a person.
Knowing the Father and knowing God is life. We would be introduced to Jesus whom He has sent, but we cannot see the sent One except in fellowship. We will not participate in the appearance of the Son except we are granted entrance into this fellowship. As such, all that God is doing is to bring us into a place where we can fellowship.
Fellowship is a school of discernment or a world of judgment, exclusively belonging to those who are perfect. Wisdom is spoken amidst them that are perfect (1 Cor. 2:6). Wisdom means judgement. A perfect man is one who has judged all things; he is a spiritual man (1 Cor 2:15).
“But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. [16] For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Cor. 2:15-16). We have to know the mind of the Lord to be instructed by Him. There is a mind God instructs, which is called the mind of the Lord. The Lord’s mind is the perfect mind for the ground of judgement.
The Lord does not judge except He appears. Anytime the Lord is appearing, He is judging. The constitution where judgement takes place is fellowship. That place is the activity of the Holiest of All, where Most Holy things are being given. Most Holy things are judgements. When God judges amidst the gods, He is sharing things that are of the Most Holy (Psa. 82:1). Judgement is not done amidst those who are not perfect. Before judgement can be given to one, such a person must have attained unto a place where he has also kept judgement.
Charity is the bond of perfection (Col 3:14); it is the capstone of Christ. Anyone that is not wearing that capstone would not be admitted into the next level of appearance. By the time one is brought into the place where Jesus/God can be seen, he must have been perfect. God and the Son do not discuss wisdom among anyone, but fellows.
“And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.” (1 John 1:4). One of the true tests of fellows is that truth is planted in them so that they would have life. The fact that one has life does not mean such a person is perfect, for he still has to be trained. The Godhead will communicate to fellows how to be skilful in handling the word of life. A fellow is a skilful handler who can take care of the things committed to him.
Every fellow is humble because every fellow will see his sin. Anyone who says he is in fellowship and says he does not have sin is a liar (1 John 1:8). It is a serious work to finally get rid of the anomaly of the evil seed that was created in the beginning. The evil seed is not in God but in us and must be deleted.
When we get to the light of the beginning, light would shine on the sin of the beginning, which would enable us to demystify iniquity. Iniquity is a highly evasive seed, but the light of the beginning will enable the fellows to see it.
Of all men that came, no one was fully cleansed of iniquity. Some men lived in a dimension of everlasting life but none could really deal with iniquity. God gave the men of old light, but they could not get to the point where they had no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). It is only God that does not have darkness. As such, God has brought us close to Him because He loves us and wants to cleanse us from all our darkness.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). This gospel will be preached by fellows to the whole world. Men of the Holiest of All would teach men how to fellowship. The blood of the Son is not just for us but is also the propitiation of the sins of the world (1 John 2:2).
We must not fear, for God would keep shining light. This is the zone where we must wait for the Lord. We will have light for every error, anomaly and wrong that the adversary has planted, and they will all be discovered. Everlasting light should remit sins in us till there is no more. Everlasting light is the last light for sin because Satan is not an eternal creature but an everlasting creature.
The blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is enough to take away the sin of the devil (the beginning sin). That evil seed is in everyone and it is what tempts people. One may not commit a sin but still have the sin resident in him. The reason for the everlasting dimension is not because one has committed a sin, but because God wants to remove every tendency of sin. This is freedom and we must hope for this freedom.
Fellowship is a call into judgment and hearing the discernment of God. It is in judgement that the devil would be destroyed. The judgement of the prince of this world is already written, for he is not above the judgement of God. The judgement of God is what God casts around Satan to inhibit him. One who can come into that judgement will know that Satan has been defeated and is powerless. However, he will be a terror to one who is not seeing in him from that perspective.
Jesus, the Son of God, has destroyed Satan. Anywhere He is fully preached, Satan is destroyed. When you declare His name, you are revealing Him. Everything about Jesus is judgement, and the Urim and Thummim are needed to teach everything about Him. What is operating among us is Urim and Thummim; they are the eyes of God to discern the work. Any man can be completely delivered and saved when he comes into the judgement of God.
Many despise the gathering of those that seek understanding because of ignorance. It would take the giving of the mystery of everlasting life to destroy Satan. Jesus has destroyed Satan. If not, there is no way He would be able to save us to the uttermost (Heb. 7:25). On the premises of the destruction of Satan is what Jesus is acting as a High Priest to pick us, train us, set us free and remove iniquity from us. Jesus has the capacity to remove what Satan has planted in us, and to teach us how to be doers of good and not of evil.
We are being cleansed by the teaching of the word of life. Iniquity must be revealed and we must be willing to let it go when it is revealed.
Blessings!
