Conclusion (BECON)

There is a Tabernacle in heaven which was copied into the Tabernacle of Moses. These teachings might sound tough to comprehend but they are not new, and have been since the beginning. Adam was a son of man, having glory and honour. The entire earth was given to him, including the ages to come. Adam saw the commandments of God (including the command to love) in the tree of life. He knew what it would take to eat the tree of life. He also saw the demand of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and knew what the repercussions that partaking of it implied. He loved God, and so ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil with some restraints. The seed of that tree is corruptible, capable of producing the tree of this world in one.

The heavenly Tabernacle had room for cherubs. There were no offerings for sin there but there were offerings that were sweet smelling savour to God. The Temple had the outer court, holy place and holy of holies. The angels were used to it, as it was made for them, not for man (before sin came on the scene). The tabernacle was made for service. God gave commandments to the heavenly creatures for the purpose of giving Him pleasure and also for their preservation. Every kind of creature has its own commandment by which it is kept.

The purpose of creation was for practicing the copy before the original takes over. Doing the commandment does not stop after learning the commandment (Ps.103:20-22). After learning, the commandment becomes the lifestyle. Each of these verses refer to a specific level of heaven. The Tabernacle in heaven had a court for man. No man (on earth) had entered into the holy of holies in heaven, though they could enter the outer court and holy place.

In the beginning, there was no physical court for man, Adam could reach heaven but did not have access into all its realms. Jesus Christ was the first man to enter heaven in all its realms and beyond. ‘Ordinances of divine service’ imply that the tabernacle had the order of coming to God (Heb.9:1-5). This tabernacle was deficient because it was worldly. It was not fit for Genesis, but was good enough for Exodus. This is because man had fallen short from being a living soul, to being worldly. In order to abide in the Tabernacle, one must be a living soul. The highest peak of earthly service was to serve in the holy of holies in the earthly Tabernacle, but that place was also a court in the heavens.

Temple has more courts, while the Tabernacle has its first court closer to the holy place. Courts are powerful. Service in the Tabernacle is generated by commandment. Service is obedience to spiritual law. Faith of the Son is service, a commandment given for the soul to serve. Hearing the commandment enables the spirit for upgrade. Obedience to the commandment results in change (transformation).

The cherubs were created in a finite sense, that is they cannot change their state into a higher one. Satan desired a higher state, and that was iniquity, because he was breaking a law in the spirit. He didn’t desire to be God, but to be ‘like’ God, seeking preeminence over his colleagues. That desire was a breaking of a code of law.

There is a season of ascending, and another of settling. The season of settling is the season of peace. God will not abide in a city that has not come into a realm of peace. Grace is the first love, while Peace is the last love; both make up God’s love.

When the saints gain entrance to the throne, the holiest of all, they will walk in white. That is, they will have a linen garment on and will be taught the (white) walk towards the throne. There are specific demands for that walk. The holiest walk is the walk of love. Satan could access the Tabernacle, although he was of a lower cadre. Gabriel could access the Tabernacle also (Luke 1:19). The difference here is that these heavenly beings do not appreciate as they walk in and out, they only get blessed. To desire to come into something more that one’s allotment as an angel is transgression and such angel will then depreciate. This was the case with satan, he broke the order of peace in the heavenly.

God also walks, He walks in His love (Ps. 104:1-3). When God walks, He moves from His seated position to the one on whom He is to shed His love. God seeks to walk in man; a man may have God dwelling in Him, but not have Him walking (2 Cor. 6:16). When God dwells in one, He does not bring the fullness of eternity to bear in such a one.

God gives Himself (Eternal Life) to man at first in a seed form. He stays there, and His presence may not be acknowledged by the person in whom it is planted. God plants His seed via the hearing of the Word. In addition to that, there is the need for the believer to walk in the commandment of love, through this, God walks inside the believer progressively bringing him into victory over sin and death. The command is to walk in love, especially to those of the household of faith, because charity begins at home (1 John 4:21). One who cannot love those of his own household cannot love those without.

The commandment is summarized in two: love God and love the brethren. These two makes up the two tablets of stones given as the commandment - God and the people. God is not fully expressed without His people. God gave commandment to Noah to bring all creation into the ark (Gen. 6:19). Note that each creature had to enter the ark as male and female (two each). The law of the love of God and the love of His people must both be served. The people constitute the ‘she’ or ‘female’ of God. Anyone who breaks the commandment of loving God’s people, has the ability to inhibit His reign. This is why the enemy always seeks to scatter God’s people. He does this so that God will not have a footstool on which to rest.

God is the one who actually needs a wife, He created man as male and female. Jesus is God, and the agenda is for Him to marry men and bring them into the status of God. The law of God - loving God and His people must be obeyed by anyone who will belong to the company of the Bride.

It is also important that we do not break the love code. Anyone who hates his brother is termed ‘Cain’. Cain and Abel had stature. Cain had fellowship with sin, till he came to a state where he hated his brother, and he did so because his works were evil (1 John 3:12). We must not hate anyone, especially the brethren. Hatred comes in when a man cannot do what his brother does - which is the offering of oneself to God. Abel’s offering was one in response to God. Jesus also exemplified how a man one would offer Himself to God.

The position on which Jesus sits is one of offering to God. The seat of a Priest is a seat of offering. There are things Jesus will not do because it will contravene the law of God. The law of God teaches one to give himself to God. There are two dimensions to the offering of Christ - the offering that takes away sin and the offering of Himself. The offering required of us is the offering to take away oneself; this process is painful. A High Priest must not weep when his son dies (Ezek.24:16); this is painful also.

The offering which the ark required when it was to be taken from the land of the Philistines back to Israel was that of a female cow (heifer) that was still giving suck to her young ones. It was a painful sacrifice, but that was the sacrifice needed for the deliverance of the people. One’s offering of himself to God makes him a blessing to generations; until then there will be no deliverance and liberation for creation from corruption (Rom.8:21).
