Death originated from the heights. Satan was a being who walked up and down amongst the stones of fire (Eze. 28:14). He was upon that mountain. In previous years, we have been provided with meals that would raise the mountain of the Lord’s house within us. Men that have been en-Christed and in whom Christ has been formed are mountains of the Lord’s house. These men are lively stones which are being built up a spiritual house (1 Pet. 2:5).
The boast of Satan is that he has an edge over creatures. This edge is the hell and death that he holds. Unknown to him, God also has a feast that can deal with hell and death. The intention and vision of heaven are to raise a people who will come into celebrating the feast of victory over hell and death. After we would have celebrated victory over sin and death, we would also journey to the point of celebrating victory over hell and death.
Some of us often get tired of consistent feasting. Gratefully, the mercies of God are new every morning and have ensured that the feasting does not cease in spite of our unfaithfulness. They want to restore youthfulness into us by satisfying us with good things (Psa 103:5). We are being served with edenic meals which the Great Shepherd and Bishop of our souls serve. Such meals are everlasting meals with which we journey in the strength that will expire the strength of hell and death. And in this season, we will experience accelerated growth. We should not be in despair because we have come into an appointed time in the spirit in which God has an appointed feast for His people. This feast has the power to deal with those issues we are dealing with.
What brought about death was a meal that man partook of. Man partook of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Similarly, we will be liberated from death by another meal. The disciples of Jesus affirmed that only with Jesus are the words of eternal life (John 6:68). Jesus is the bread of God which comes down from heaven and gives life unto the world (John 6:33-34).
Believers’ Convention is a feast, and everything for our healing is in that feast, just as scripture says that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of nations (Rev. 22:2). We are partaking of the leaves of that tree, which is the revelation of the Son of God. Those leaves are everlasting things; and as we eat of them, no infirmity will remain in us.
In Christ, we have journeyed into righteousness and peace, but we are coming into joy because this is a feast of joy. It is when we come into joy that they wipe away tears from our faces. We must be a people that rejoice in knowledge. As light is coming to us. We must not grumble but desire that God will cause us to joy in His strength, even throughout the seven days of the Convention (Psa. 21:1).
During Believers' Convention, one of our greatest heart desires should be life. We should ask for life, regardless of our level of growth (Psa. 21:4). As the king trusteth in the Lord, we should also hang our confidence on God and His ability to save us to the uttermost (Psa. 21:7). When the Lord responds, and the mercy of the Most Holy place is given to us, we would continue to be given things until all our enemies are uncovered (Psa. 21:8).
