Ephesians 2:1-3
“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; [2]Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: [3]Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”
The course of this world is the methodology of raising the “christ” (anointed one) of Satan. In the world today, the average man across all professions and walks of life thinks in an inverted heavenly manner; the thoughts that rule such men are the thoughts of fallen angels. Many have delved into ministry with an inverted heaven. However, by speakings and ministrations, we were turned (converted) and became upright.
What encourages us to keep our life and not lay it down for the brethren is the thought of fallen spirits. In the process of laying down our lives for the brethren (1 John 3:16), we are going through the necessary training to un-invert our heaven. As it was in the garden of Eden, Adam was not created to live for himself.
Revelation 4:11
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
All things were created not for our pleasure but for His pleasure. It is an inverted life that makes a man live all his life for his own pleasure. It is a sign of death to live to please ourselves; that is an inverted heaven (1 Tim. 5:6). The thought that makes us uneasy at the revelation of commandments of charity is a work in us that must be undone. This work was done by a course of this world. The course of this world makes a man think and behave like the world. This course is the engineering behind worldly lusts.
One of the works that was done is lust. Lust is not just our thoughts; it is a work. A facility was worked out in us to make us think in a particular way. This was accomplished by bringing words from a heaven higher than man to reconfigure the soul. The thoughts of human beings on earth are heavenly; it is the thought of an angel. This shows that man has the capacity to even think the thoughts of God.
Obedience to giving out our resources is a work being done in us. God is using our resources and skills to work in us. If some of our workers like the designers, transcribers, audio, and video unit members are unleashed into the world, they will be paid a lot for these skills; but all these skills are being used in the church. What we sow is nothing compared to what we will reap. God uses those rigorous exercises to un-invert the heaven that has been inverted in us so that works can be destroyed in our souls to make us not pick the frequency of evil spirits. Under the ministrations of our parents, we are regularly exposed to evil spirits so that we can fight them and their works in us is destroyed. Our ability to prefer one another is not by reason of confession; it is a product of works in the soul.
The work Satan did in us is a work of nature. When Satan finished this work, he was sure that we could not escape. Men can live their whole lives on earth with these works remaining intact. When certain warfare is going on in our lives, it is because the evil works in us needs to be destroyed. Not preferring one's brothers can lead to killing one's brother. As we exercise ourselves in love towards our brothers, our heavens are being changed and evil works are being destroyed. As a result, tendencies to be angry or frustrated are reduced.
There is no way a work can be done in us without hearing the Lord. Hearing is needed. The Lord will grant us grace to convert spoken words to works. It takes the operation of the spirit of counsel and might to convert spoken words to work. The process of conversion is the place of doing as a result of agreement to the things that are spoken.
Two major works are recorded in the Bible, namely: works of the flesh and the works of the devil. The tree that Adam ate had these two works. These works are heavenly in nature, they are not earthly. They are the natures of fallen angels that were infused into the fruit of the tree. As Adam ate the fruit, he partook of the fruit of angels that had two works. These two works are potentially in men, in seed form. Satan knew that he needed to create an enabling environment for these works to germinate (Rom 5:17).
After Abel died, Seth was born and men began to call upon the name of the Lord (Gen. 4:26). Thus, men were occupying the heavens and the thoughts of men were pure. In those days, it was strange for men to look at women lustfully, to be jealous of one’s brother, or love things that were created more than God. Men naturally love God because their heavens are occupied with good thoughts. The faces of God were hanging in the heavens of men, and men were occupied with heavenly thoughts. Men were keeping ways, courses, lines and precepts of God.
What will make an atmosphere change is when men hold the thoughts that a spirit is bringing. The heavens were free of thoughts but Satan began to wage war until he brought down all the sons of God that were occupying the heavens and were sustaining the faces of God upon the earth. These sons of God fell, became flesh and the atmosphere began to change. The way this atmosphere changes is very subtle. We have been designed to adapt to atmospheres. When an atmosphere is becoming carnal, we are not aware the atmosphere is changing because we have been designed to adapt to it.
Spirits are in charge of insignificantly changing our atmosphere and making it carnal. As a result, man has been configured to adapt to that death; it is a gradual falling without noticing. Similarly, our evolving will be gradual. It will not be sudden because we did not die suddenly, we died gradually. Similarly, with our little cooperation with the Holy Ghost here and there, works are being changed within. We are changing! This change is a result of speakings.
Genesis 2:1-4
“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. [2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. [3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. [4] These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens…”
Heaven and earth are products of spoken words. The earth was initially created void, dark and without seas and lands; but by the spoken word, God furnished the heavens and the earth. As God was furnishing the heavens and the earth, things that were scattered and confused began to take the right shape. The word continued to work until it produced a rest for God. The end of the words spoken are works.
The present heaven and earth are old creations. At the point of creation, they became old but not fallen. This is because immediately God created the present heaven and earth, He saw another heaven and earth in Himself. The present heaven and earth are only a shadow of the heaven and earth within God that is to come. There was something inside of Him that informed the creation of heaven and earth. The present heaven and earth are products of spoken words. God gave forth a word to form works. Cherubim are works of God. Likewise, a seraph is a work of God and also a product of words.
If all the messages we have been hearing since we started listening to Reverend Kayode Oyegoke were to be stored in bytes, these words would have become terabytes. It is in the compilation of words that natures are created in us (Heb. 1:3). Each of these words we hear are cells that come together to make up tissues, organs, and systems that make up a man. A man cannot be formed without cells, but what forms the cells are little spoken words. The new creation man is the earthly work of God which God created. Every molecule of those things that God created in the new creation man are products of words.
In the same way, what produced a carnal man is the course of this world. To be carnally minded is a product of a course. This course is described as a way (Eph. 2:2; Rom. 8:7). The original name for “course” is a way (Eph. 2:1-2). A course can never be learnt until there are teachers. The course of this world is a coded language that requires a work to be done in a man in order to read it. There are spirits that are teachers of these works. These spirits have produced teachers in the form of men who have become products of these works. These spirits determine which course one would take through life. There are spirits in charge of poverty and wealth according to the course of this world.
“Course” as used in Luke 1:5, refers to “a way”. The course of this world is in different dimensions, and the goal of these courses is to produce death. Satan does not know poverty; it is a fallen evil spirit that defined poverty to corrupt the mind of man not to know the true riches of God. The way the courses are charted in the life of a man is the way through which those spirits come to such. When they come, they deposit things, such that when such a person engages in line with the course, he dies. A course charts a way and as one walks in that way, a work is formed in him. Likewise in the positive sense, in the realm of the spirit, there is a course. Paul said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…” (2 Tim. 4:7)
Acts 20:23-24
“Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”
At this point, while Paul laboured in the mission field, he had not finished his course. The goal of the affliction was so that Paul does not finish his course. The course comes first before the ministry. This is why we ought to give thanks to God for His servant, Reverend Kayode Oyegoke, through whom the Lord has helped us accurately define the course and its importance above ministry. Satan redefined ministry to men and they followed the path as a course of this world. There are many who use their entire life to build a ministry and at the end, they gained nothing.
If at the end of all we learn, the goal is to have ‘something’ to minister to others and not something to do, that labour would have been in vain. The things we are hearing are for a cause, that a work can be done in us. What produces the ministry is the course.
The phrase, “Paul, a servant”, connotes the nature that Paul possessed. The apostles were not firstly after the ministry but after a nature. The “course” produces the ministry. As at Acts 20:24, Paul was praying to finish his course with joy; then by 2 Timothy. 4:7, he could tell Timothy that he had finished his course. This tells us that the course can be finished; it is not endless. We will finish our course one day. It will not be forever.
God has just given us a few years here on earth to trap eternity. A time is coming where we would remember when we fought the course. But when we co-operate, we will be able to say we have finished our course, we have kept the faith. What Paul kept is a work; he preserved it. Someone can do a work of God and destroy it. This is called perdition. Blessed is he who keeps the work that has been wrought in him. We must keep the work because of the second phase of the activities of the word that is coming. Everlasting life is not an endless journey; we will finish it someday.
Ephesians 2:10
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
From the above scripture, the reason for our walk is for a work. We see that works are related to walk. Walks are paths. When we finish a phase of a work, we have to keep it. Charity is a work (1 Thess. 1:11). The work of faith is a formation of a nature; it is a formation of Christ. Christ is a way of thinking that will make us get misunderstood to those outside that realm. It is a path that influences how one thinks; it is a fellowship and a realm. Anyone not in that fellowship cannot relate with those who are in it. A time is coming when our walk will resonate with our hearts, and would be a product of the work that has been done in us. This work can never be done without speakings; we must hear.
Faith is a work; it is a reality. Oftentimes, it is difficult for those not in our fellowship to comprehend our conversation. It is confusing to them and also to evil spirits. This conversation did not start with us but with our parents in the Lord. The work of God in us will be finished. The spoken words we have received have formed a life in us.
There is a course that is before us called the faith course. Works have been done in us, however, there is another work that should be done – everlasting works. The Lord told our mummy, Reverend Helen, to pray for the whole company because He wants a critical mass of heavenly men to be raised. This tells us that the Lord is set to answer. Everlasting life is not an endless race, it can be completed. An earthly work has been done to a great extent; it is time for heavenly work to be done.
Our obedience is as a result of a work. Submission is a work that everyone who would enter everlasting life must undertake, or else there would be no admission into this fellowship. We ought to keep the work. The work that we have kept is a foundation of the new things that will be coming. As the Lord is speaking, we will become heavenly. It is possible to be heavenly. The Lord will do a work in us that will make Him remember us.
Blessings!
