God desires to birth a new thought pattern in us this season. The realm of thunder (God) will make wayfaring men come into a higher level of judgement (sense). It is only those who are foolish in the sight of men that can access the way (Isaiah 53:8). It is possible to have a sense that has been developed by fellowship with a level of the word of God. However, true sense has not been attained until one has come into the stature of Christ.
The preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but it is the power of God to those who are being saved (1 Corinthians 1:18). This means that it is possible for you to be born again and still perish because it is only those who have understood and obeyed the preaching of the cross that are empowered not to perish. The teaching of the cross is the dethroning of the carnal mind. The cross is not an adoption of physical suffering, rather, it is the preaching of a wisdom that does not agree with the wisdom of this world, thus appearing foolish to men.
The preaching of the cross is the revelation of the righteousness of God from faith to faith (Romans 1:17) which deals with the fallen nature. The fallen nature/life is stubborn and cannot be dealt with by principles of men; it is dealt with by the preaching and teaching of Christ. The faith of the Son will knock off the worldly sense in a man.
Satan is a thief that gives nothing of eternal value. Satan sought the worship of Jesus and promised Him the world in exchange. The truth however is that the world is worth nothing especially when compared to a soul. Jesus asked his disciples and followers what it shall profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? This is because the soul is more valuable than the world and anything it can offer (Mark 8:36). This is why Satan sought the worship of Jesus. No spirit, not even evil spirits, will stoop so low to learn about creatures the way men pride themselves in natural accomplishments because it amounts to nothing.
The world and its firstfruit is darkness. Darkness is also called blindness. It is the world that is responsible for blindness and incorrectness in judgement. A lot of people are under the power of this darkness.
There are certain spirits that rule in this world called rulers of the darkness of this world (Ephesians 6:12). Principalities and powers are agents of darkness. After rulers of the darkness of this world are the spiritual wickedness in high places. Rockets can’t travel to the places where these spirits dwell. Rulers of the darkness of this world are high but not as high as spiritual wickedness.
Principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness of this world are all spirits that make men blind. The purpose of darkness is to make men see life in a different way other than that instituted by God. It is the preaching of the antiChrist life. Rulers of the darkness of this world teach unbelief instead of faith. Rulers of the darkness of this world are spirits against charity, principalities are powers against hope while powers are spirits against faith. You must have attained charity to overcome these spirits.
Anyone who is susceptible to earthly or sensual wisdom, will be a prey to these spirits. In order to defeat principalities and powers, we must not be wise after this world because these spirits use sensual and earthly wisdom to make people carnal. To be carnal is to be a carnally minded person.
No one wrestles these spirits by praying alone. These spirits engage you in a war of wisdom, striving to make you believe you are foolish in this world. To deal with the world, you have to die to whatever it throws at you by maintaining a posture of foolishness. One thing the world wants is for a soul to vaunt itself. However, God has made a way of escape from this world. One thing you can do is to remain and not be ashamed of where God has kept you, even if it is a lowly estate. When prosperity comes, don’t show off yourself.
It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be involved in earthly vocations. If vocations were wrong, Jesus wouldn’t be a carpenter. Jesus humbled himself and submitted to the vocation of his father.
Wickedness is higher than darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Darkness blinds; it is the power of Satan. Wickedness, on the other hand, is death. Wicked spirits govern so many places in the realm of the spirit. Anyone who finishes learning the wickedness in all these places can no longer be redeemed by God. There are certain men on earth right now who are not just blind but wicked. The preaching of Christ cannot reach such men again.
There is good; and there is evil. It takes spiritual sense to know what evil really is. Spiritual wickedness handles the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. For example, some will argue that the gay population is not evil because it is not assaulting anyone physically. This is not so. These people assault the souls of men by corrupting the mind. An evil man can even be a philanthropist, yet He is evil.
Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good (Isaiah 7:15). Good in Heb. 5:14 refers to God. It is only God that is good (Mark 10:18). Evil has painted good to be evil. It harms the good so that men won’t be able to tell it. The strong meat of the word comprises butter and honey. It helps us know what good is, and ensures that we choose it. Everlasting life is good while damnation is evil. A man who hasn’t been fed with the strong meat, can choose evil and refuse the good.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Rev. 21:8)
The fearful is someone who wants to hold on to this present life and can’t watch it go. Liars also are those who are living by a lie. Although God will do everything to stop such men from believing a lie, they will still refuse the love of the truth.
The truth called love is the everlasting life. Everlasting life is higher than Babylon (this world), but the strength of Babylon is in wickedness. This is why it will take everlasting life that breaks wickedness to take away Babylon. If you refuse the gospel of everlasting life, you will receive the lie. The world doesn’t know the gospel of lie yet, but she is racing towards it. Lie is wickedness. It is the evil. It is a very high life that guarantees the image or mark of the beast.
The prophets of the beast will preach a lie. This lie is the everlasting gospel of Satan. This message will be about a lasting life of great rest. This gospel will be backed up with signs. There will be manifestations of this life on earth.
It is possible to love this world. Demas left Apostle Paul because he loved this present world. Even though he was a co-Labourer with Paul, he loved the lifestyle and offering this world presents over the life of Christ. He saw the life of Christ as an empty life that won’t allow him to reach his potential. Demas must have thought that the promise of Christ for the soul isn’t real.
The evil deeds are not the evil that is a result of the lie (John 3:19). Rather, this is the evil in the world which Jesus prayed that we be kept from while we are in the world. The evil that the world perpetuates is that it blinds men and then prepares them for something greater which she does not offer. The world leaves the soul of a man still panting. The men whom the world has raised are wretched men who do not have anything!
There is an evil in this world. This evil prevents men from giving service to God the way they ought; making them unable to live by faith.
You can not get to salvation when you are not powerful. Evil spirits that are powerful are spirits that contend against attaining everlasting life.
You need the strong meat of the word to refuse the evil (Heb 5:14). Satan will do everything to make lie appear as reality to men. The lie is what makes men disregard scriptures. It seeks to make the church obsolete. After some time, it will also render the present education useless. The end of the message of lie is to make men not need God. Such men would not believe that there is no God; but believe that they do not need Him. The beast will speak against the tabernacle of God in heaven and all that dwell there. The promise of the beast is ‘a lie’. He will convince men to think that the heavenly lifestyle is invalid.
Strong meat purges one’s conscience from dead works to serve the living God (Heb 9:14). The butter in the strong meat is not the milk which is designed for those who are babies in Christ; rather, it is the milk of the word that is prepared for those who are newly born into everlasting life (Isa 7:15; 1Pet. 2:2). These babies of everlasting life are men who have just been reaped from charity.
This milk of the word ensures that we grow thereby. It is the butter of the word which immunizes us. After taking this butter or milk of the word for a while, a man is introduced to the honey. A man begins to call for the milk of the incorruptible seed from the holy place - just before the veil (1 Pet. 1:23-25; 2:1-2). The milk of the incorruptible seed is the colostrum which is needed to abide in the life that the seed offers. This life is the life that lives and abides.
Every seed has its milk. Likewise, the incorruptible seed has its milk or butter. This incorruptible milk is higher than Christ; it is the good word of God - the good things to come which the high priest serves. This milk communicates the everlasting sense.
The Holy Ghost plays a motherly role by serving us this milk because He is the everlasting Spirit, also known as the eternal Spirit. This milk gives everlasting sense and will cause you to begin to see (understand, comprehend, or discern) everlasting life. Just as a child can sense its mother because of the breast milk, likewise a man will begin to sense the Lord as he takes the milk of the incorruptible seed. Those who take this milk will grow by grace and truth.
Grace is a spirit that interprets truth. Truth is knowledge, while grace is divine energy. Grace is a type of spirit that interpretes truth. Grace is wine; truth is seed - it's the word. Grace creates a conducive environment for truth to thrive. Grace is the world of truth. Anyone who doesn’t have grace will be dry and will try to force to work out truth. Grace is the energy needed to bring forth the standard of life required by God. Grace is the opener and interpreter of truth.
A lot of people have so much knowledge but lack grace. Such knowledge is null and void because it cannot be engaged without grace. It is in the leading of the Spirit that grace is imparted. Any seed you acquire without grace energy being at work will be useless to you. If you’re studying to outshine others, whatever you get won’t do you any good.
There is an everlasting grace that helps one live the everlasting life. When knowledge is at work, grace and truth are added.
There is another energy in the spirit called peace. It is higher than grace. Peace is grace that has journeyed and has settled.
