In the beginning, the Word was with God and was God (John 1:1). He had all that it takes to sit on the throne because the things that constituted Him were the substances of the Godhead. But because of the redemption of man, He became flesh and was made a little lower than the angels in authority. He did this to demonstrate that man can grow from where he is (flesh) into Godhood, for God is interested in making man sit on the throne.

He who is seated on the throne is salvation. He is the Word who became flesh and then, the substances of salvation were ministered to Him, until he became qualified to sit on the throne.

“Thou art fairer than the children of men: Grace is poured into thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.” (Psa. 45:2). God blessed our Lord Jesus and those blessings made Him fairer than the children of men. Jesus' growth is a product of the blessings and revelations which God gave Him. Therefore, He grew up and became Christ. Christ is a measure of the revelations that were given to Jesus; this was what framed the meek nature in Him. The One who is seated on the throne is very meek. Anything short of the nature of a child cannot sit on the throne.

When God conceived the idea of making man (Gen. 1:26), His intention was to make man attain salvation because dominion can not be given to a man who has not attained salvation. Dominion and authority hang on salvation. Salvation is a stature of meekness that requires giving of blessings. God wants to raise a generation for the purpose of salvation, but Satan has raised men and women who cannot locate or house God. Satan sold his properties to man, but man calls it civilization or enlightenment.

It takes the light of the gospel to be delivered from this work of Satan. When God wants to work this deliverance, He starts with the milk of the word, which will prepare us for the gospel of Christ.

The inward configuration of a man is who he truly is. Therefore, we need a lot of reconfiguration to take place within us because what is of importance in the realm of the  spirit is who a man is on his inside. Jesus is a meek and lowly Fellow. Authority can not hang on someone who has not been configured to be meek and lowly.

The devil is making this generation look ‘anti-God’, so that they will be unable to approach authority. In the last days, when salvation is meant to be widespread, he is building men against salvation or meekness and lowliness. These are the days when such men will love themselves, be covetous and boasters (2 Tim. 3:1-2) because Satan has cultured them in that way. God made Satan in meekness but he did not grow into meekness. The angels were framed beautifully but iniquity was found in Satan. This made him corrupt all the meekness that was in him.

A man may be able to command money but may not be able to command influence in the spirit, where it matters. What can deal with covetousness, for example, is the giving of substances that are real — incorruptible things. The things we presently covet are perishable things, but when the weight of the incorruptible is put in us, we will look down on corruptible things.

We will not be able to hear the voice of the Son at our present frequency unless we have heard Christ. This is because Christ will raise us to a level of meekness. The Lamb on the throne is a meek and little One. The higher we go, the more little we become. A meek person is not self-willed. What characterizes the highest class of angels is that they hearken to the voice of the word of God (Psa. 103:20). Hearkening to the voice of His word is a demonstration of meekness, and this is all that the angels do.

God wants to raise men who will live by every word that proceeds out of His mouth (Matt. 4:4) but we will not be able to live that way if we are not meek. It takes meekness to live by every word that proceeds from God’s mouth because there will be contradictions, distractions and our wrong conversations, which can make us turn our backs from living by the word.

It is a meek person that can do God’s commandment. Meekness does not come easily therefore, we have to be led, instructed and guided to be made meek. One thing that cannot be compromised is the nature of the Godhead, and meekness is the only thing that God is on the lookout for.

To be contrite requires admitting you are wrong but there is an unnecessary boldness that plagues our generation. It is also lack of meekness that inspires us to use crooked means to achieve things, but meekness makes one courteous. The decay that is eating up our age is unnecessary boldness; it does not give room for caution and carefulness. However, God wants to raise people who can beat the decay of the age. Boldness hinders us from coming under to be instructed but we can escape the devil by coming under.

There is an urgency upon us to run. We run by being quick to obey the substances that will cake God’s nature in us. We have to obey the laws that will make His nature to be formed inside us. There is an urgency upon us to run. We run by being quick to obey the substances that will form God’s nature in us. It is time for us to be deliberate about obedience and have fear about not being qualified to enter.

This is the time for us to prevail like Jesus did (Rev. 5:5). The Son prevailed by insisting on righteousness and doing what is right. What is right in every circumstance is meekness and lowliness. Therefore, we should judge all our actions by meekness and lowliness, for this is righteousness.

“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” (Rev. 5:6). The kind of being who stays on the throne is the slain Lamb. He was slain by commandments and obedience. Therefore, the more we obey Him, the meeker we become. If we successfully obey instructions, we will be made meek. Just like the Lord blessed Jesus with revelations and understandings of what rules the Throne, a man must also be blessed with those revelations. And as he does them, he will become fit for the Throne.

Sometimes, God instructs us to agree that we are wrong, even when we are right. This is so that He can break certain laws and configurations within us. Jesus obeyed all the laws that the Father had; the laws of meekness and lowliness. The Son is meek and lowly (Matt. 11:29) but the Father is meeker and more lowly than He is.

The Father gave the Son all judgements of meekness and lowliness (Jn. 5:22). If we receive those judgments but do not obey them, we will remain unchanged. The Son was configured by the laws that He was shown. Revelations show us the things that carved the inward nature of God so that we can obey them and become like Him.

Defending oneself makes it difficult for God to defend one well. Therefore, we are being trained by works of meekness that will make us worthy for the throne. The Throne is not a place of defending oneself, for power and glory are the defense there. A slain person is one who has been conquered by God; such a person has lost everything to God by obedience. To be slain is a configuration of the soul; this is the blessing of a meek man.

It takes a miracle to convert a man to be like Jesus. It is a high miracle but it is attainable. God will achieve in us the meekness that is in our Lord Jesus. The gospel of our Lord Jesus will not be preached to us if God is not convinced that we will become like Him. He was like a lamb; he was helpless and needed to be carried by the Shepherd. However, man has been configured to not rely on the Shepherd to carry him. The Shepherd is interested in protecting us against unknown wolves. He has walked this path and has led several people in it before us.

Jesus is not only a Lamb but a Lamb who has been slain. In the same manner, God is looking for men who are slain lambs. God is not going to compromise His standard, therefore, a miracle has to happen to us. He has already started the miracle by bringing these things to us and stirring up a desire in us to go low.

No one naturally desires to go low. In all that we become, we must make sure we become lowly and meek. Everything about and around us is a school for training, so that we can become meek and then, sit on the throne. God orchestrated everything about us to school us. Therefore, wherever we are and in whatever we do, we must make ourselves worthy of the Throne.

The essence of the presence of angels in our midst is to stir us to desire alignment. The way to work with angels is to align with the authority that God has placed us under. Boldness against authority needs to be curbed in us. If we are bold towards authority, we will pose a threat of snatching authority from angels. Therefore, the miracle of meekness must occur in our lives.
