“Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.” (John 6:26). This shows that the other miracles that the Jews saw Jesus do were not as close to their expectation as this miracle of bread. Miracles such as healing of the sick, casting out demons never moved them. However, the miracle of bread reflected the Messiah to them, as one who can take care of all their livelihood. They sought Jesus because they loved the loaves. As soon as Jesus provided the loaves, they wanted to crown Him as king (John 6:14-15). They wanted the miracle of loaves to continually increase, and to become a daily thing; just like the daily experience of manna in the wilderness. They had read that God would raise a prophet like unto Moses (Deut. 18:15).
Jesus was not saying that they should seek Him for the miracles. Rather, the miracles were supposed to attract the people to pay attention to Him and hear what He has to say or offer. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.” (John 6:27). A bread that does not endure unto everlasting life has a short life span. The actual message of Jesus was the message of everlasting life; and He is the only one who can give the bread that endures unto everlasting life. Our Lord Jesus is the Son of man whom God the Father has sealed with the seal of the living God.
The angel who bore the seal of the living God in the book of Revelation was ascending from the east (Rev. 7:1-2). The eastward position speaks of the position of eternity, from where the seal of the living God proceeded. The purpose of the seal of the living God is to stamp the servants of the living God and to seal their works so that they might remain. The servants were doing works and it was about time to seal them to prevent their works from diminishing.
The seal of the living God is the seal of everlasting life. The servants were sealed on their forehead because they had been filled with the works of God up to their forehead. This shows that they have done the works up to the required stature. So the angel was not sealing them in person but the works in them, which are the works of the Father. However, this seal is not the end of their sealings; they still need to be sealed with a final seal. The seal of everlasting life is a name that the brethren had learnt, and they were made to bear the identity of the name. The word seal may also be called a bond. Just as charity is the bond that perfects Christ (Col. 3:14), the seal of the living God is a bond (or end) of everlasting life that prepares the servants for Eternal Life. This seal is a teaching also and it is a crowning of everlasting life.
What these servants did is what the other brethren in Revelation 12:17 will also do. The dragon went to make war with them because of what they were still doing at the time; they were keeping the commandment of everlasting life. The seal of the living God is lower than the seal of the Eternal God. The everlasting seal is the name of the Father which shows that a man has finished the commandment of everlasting life. Whosoever has this seal has finished both the first and the last works of God. Both first and last works are loves -- first and last love. The everlasting seal can only come at the end of the last love.
The veil of the first seals of Satan departed at the appearance of the one hundred and forty-four thousand (144,000) men because of their love walk. These men prevailed by works and Satan’s first seals came down afterwards. These seals are stars and they fell as a result of the love walk of these men (Rev. 6:13-14). Falling the stars of heaven is unscrewing the bolts that hold the evil spirits in the heavens and ruining their works.
The angel with the seal of the living God must have ascended out of Eden (Rev. 7:2). The angel sealed these men to keep them for Eternal Life. These men have need of patience so that they can obtain the promise of Eternal Life (Heb. 10:36). The one hundred and forty-four thousand men are those referred to as the living fountains, unto whom the Lamb shall lead men (Rev. 7:17). They are men who have living seals.
It is our obedience that would break the arrangements of spirits, not just by our preaching. Our spiritual walk is catastrophic to evil spirits and that is why all manners of assaults are aimed at us. Disobedience to evil spirits break them. The way to deal with spirits is through spiritual means, not carnal means (2 Cor. 10:4-5). Our obedience is going to bring down the day of vengeance, which is the season of learning everlasting life. The day of vengeance is the day when the everlasting gospel will be obeyed by all men, and it will bring the end of wicked spirits. Evil spirits know the time of their end (Matt 8:29).
Execution of judgement is an honour of the everlasting gospel. Judgement is an everlasting provision. In Revelation 6:12-14, some men did more than obeying Christ and tore the veil of the rulers of the darkness of this world. This is because sons of God obeyed God beyond their strength. Therefore, that heaven had no legal ground to remain. Michael did not need to war for this heaven to fall. Michael only warred for the last heaven to fall (Rev. 12:7).
Fallen spirits emit a wrong kind of heaven. Nimrod was a man who communed with a wrong heaven. This was evident in how much he desired to raise buildings that would tower up to heavens (Gen. 10:8-10). He was raised by evil spirits and had a tall stature in the spirit.
Some men are tools that are aligned under wicked spirits which are directly aligned under Satan. They drive the agenda of Satan more. Such men are Satan’s children. It is possible to accept a person of wickedness if we lack judgement (Psa. 82:2). We should be careful of promising kings of the earth. They can only be judged by their fruits. God will leave other religions in the seat of power over our nation until the Church is cleansed and broken free from useless bright ideas. This is because these ideas cause the Church to easily marry idols.
The 144,000 that were sealed in Revelation 7:2 were the same who transited into the womb of the woman in Revelation 12, who were born with travail. The company of 144,000 was a Church who became angels and were as stars in the palm of the Lord. This palm is the everlasting arm, where they dwelt until the fullness of time when they would be raised to the throne of God. They were firstly made daystars or stars of everlasting life. However, they had to be birthed again with travail in order to become stars of the morning.
A stick is different from a star; a stick is a work while a star is a seal (Rev. 1:20/12:1). A star speaks of those who have finished their works. The arising of the daystar in our hearts speaks of the seal of the living God (2 Pet. 1:19). However, we are to progress from a living (or daystar) to a morning star (eternal star). The summary of a name is the star of the work; it is the sum of the work. Satan was a star who was sealed (Eze. 28:12). He did not only have a work but was also sealed.
Immediately the man-child company was born in Revelation 12, he was born with a new seal. This man child company has two (2) names: the first is the everlasting name which is the name of the Father and the eternal name which is the name of God. Prophet Isaiah mentioned two births in Isaiah 66:7-9. These are the two births that would occur in the Most Holy Place: the everlasting and eternal births. The eternal birth would be prompted by the crying travail of the woman (Rev. 12:2). On the day the woman travails, the dragon will appear because he knows that his time is up. As she travails, a man-child will be born with the name of the Eternal God.
While Jesus was on earth, He had a name that was more than the name of Christ. Jesus was sealed with the Father’s name or with the everlasting seal. He was a sealed man while He walked the earth (John 6:27). However, beyond the Father’s name, there is a name called ‘my name’ (Rev. 3:12). This name is the name of the only begotten Son; it is also called “the name of my God or the name of the City of my God”. This is a name that our Lord Jesus received after resurrection.
The last reward is to sit on the throne (Rev. 3:21). Whosoever will be granted the reward of sitting on the throne must have all the names. There are two (2) new names: the name which no man knows and the eternal name upon the forehead (Rev. 2:17/3:12). A man with the eternal seal will go out no more. This eternal name is not the name that is used to overcome the devil but a name that is received after overcoming. The eternal name is a reward; and a rewarded man has no need to fight with the devil.
It is not Jesus that would make Michael war with the devil (Rev. 12:7). Rather, Jesus’ focus is to raise men who will have the capacity to sit with Him on the throne. So, the goal is to raise men who will finish their everlasting work. After the sealing of the man-child company, Satan no longer has the right to stay in the air. After Jesus’ ascension to God, Satan still stayed in the air; even though Jesus sat down at the right hand of God. God had to tell Jesus to sit on His right hand until He makes His enemy His footstool (Heb. 1:13, Psa. 110:1).
Jesus’ enemies will be made His footstool through the program of the rod of His strength that will be sent out of Zion, to rule in the midst of the enemies (Psa. 11:2). It means that these people who will constitute the rod of Jesus’ strength must have sat with Him on the throne (Rev. 3:21). This shows that all of their commitment will be to Jesus. This is why a whole lot of ministers of the Gospel cannot attain this kind of status because they are oblivious of the work to be done. Many ministers of the Gospel do not see a Devil to be overcome and pulled down from heaven. Many are not seeing the program of God. Satan sold ambition to men, even in ministry.
A man can do ministry and be oblivious of eternal program or the true purpose of ministry. Such a person will just do ministry and pass through earth like other men. A great ministry is not measured by the popularity of the minister or by the numerical expansion. Those are infirmities of the natural mind that needs to be burnt by fire so that the will of God can be done. True ministry is raising the dead and opening eyes of understanding. True ministry is to allow the voice of the Son to cause men to rise from their graves (John 5:25). Jesus bore witness to this when He told the people to tell John the effects of His ministry; and how the blind see, the lame walk, lepers are healed, and the dead raised by the preaching of the gospel (Luke 7:22). He did all these by preaching the gospel and John the Baptist understood this.
