                          Transcript Summary

1. The coming of the Son of God and His ministry as the Lamb of God is for feeding and leading a people. According to Revelation 21, the Lamb of God does not only feed and lead, He is also the temple of God in the holy city—the New Jerusalem.

2. The Son of God has come to show us how He was built up as a temple of God. It was not when He got to heaven He became the temple of God. While on earth, Jesus was being built as a temple according to John 2:20-21. Beyond the temple of His body, He was also being built as a temple/habitation of God in His soul.

3. “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” (John 14:10). Jesus is the One housing the Father. By saying that the Father was in Him, Jesus was saying that the Father has found a place of abode in Him.

4. (John 4:20-22). Worship is no longer limited to a physical location. The city of peace, where worship will now take place, will be in men. There is a new Jerusalem and a temple that the Father is looking for; it is in that temple that worship will be carried out.

5. Those who can carry out the worship of the true God must be temples. The nature of the Lamb is the building of the temple of God. To say that one has the nature of the Lamb indicates that one is becoming the habitation of God while on earth.

6. The Lamb of God is the one who reconciles us back to God. To build us as a temple is the place of putting an end to corruption and bringing an end to the reign of sin and death. The High Priest was raised to address issues of sin, corruption, and death; this includes breaking down every law of sin and the arrangement of corruption and death. This operation is found in the person of the Lamb of God, who is the temple of God.

7. “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (2 Corinthians 6:16). 1 John 5:21 also asks us to keep ourselves from idols. This shows that idols are targeted at the temple of God. It also shows that it was not only the Lamb who became the temple of God, men also became the temple of God—men became the true worshippers of God in spirit and truth.

8. The holy temple is found in Ephesians 2:21-22, and the Person responsible for the feeding of this holy temple is the Lamb. The Lamb feeds men who have become temples with His own self—the Lamb feeds them with what is coming from Him. He shall feed them because they were all sheep, and He shall also lead them (Rev. 7:17). The things He is feeding them with are the things that built Him up. These are the things that framed Him up and made Him become the temple of God.

9. The multitude in Revelation 7 were becoming the temple of God.  Their altar and the worship going on therein were being measured to know if their worship was complete, and if they had attained a place of perfection and arrived at the end of salvation. It is through feeding and leading that a temple is being built on our inside, and the nature of the Son of God is being raised in us.

10. The provision of God is in the Lamb of God. The Lamb shall feed and lead men unto the fountain of living waters, and this requires that we follow Him. Anyone who will be like the Lamb or become a temple of God must follow Him. To follow Him means we must be led. This leading is a subjective leading (pertaining to a change of nature within). We are in a season wherein heaven is subjecting us and bringing us under strict discipline.

11. (Eph. 5:15-17). Following the Lamb has to do with our walk, and our walk must be circumspect. We must walk as the wise, not as fools. We must be redeeming not just the time but also our nature from the different gentilic natures that we still have.

12. By following the Lamb, the things that make us err have been done away with. This is because we have a High Priest who is touched with the feelings of our infirmities and was also in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin (Heb. 4:15).

Blessings!
