Speaker 2: Pastor Tope Falaye

It is evident that as a people, we are trailing certain waters. In the vision of Ezekiel, he describes the waters which flowed out from the throne and through temple (Ezek. 47:1-12). Anyone who wants to find their way back to the throne must trail the waters. As a company, we have found grace to follow waters; starting with the waters of Christ which washed us, separated us and sanctified us. Yet, there are other waters that the Lord is bringing forth to us.

The waters are doctrines, and the present waters are waters of grace. The Lord is shedding light, through His waters or doctrine, on the grace of everlasting life. The throne of grace is a throne of mercy. It is a throne of Eternal life; when it flows out beyond a particular dimension, it turns from mercy to grace. Grace is an expression of mercy, but gracious.

Amongst many other emphasis, the Lord is sounding the emphasis of grace. There is a grace for everlasting life that should lead us to mercy unto Eternal life. Grace at a level is seen as God’s unmerited favour. At another level, grace is what the Lord gives through light. It is God’s ability that is stored up in knowledge in such a way that one must first find the knowledge to lay hold on grace.

This grace is at the instance of revelation (1Pet. 1:13). This revelation is not based on the ability of ‘opening’ scriptures. Today, there are many 'revelation houses’ but what the Lord wants is for us to find the revelation that is of Jesus Christ. It is possible to teach mysteries and deep things from the Bible without teaching Jesus Christ. The grace that 1 Peter 1:13 was talking about is a grace that comes at the instance of revealing Jesus Christ (1 Pet. 5:12)

There are many graces and they are communicated by knowledge but there is the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is a grace of salvation. There is a grace of everlasting life, which is a weight, and there is the grace of Eternal life, which is mercy. These kind of graces do not come without the Lord sending ministering spirits. Certain ministering spirits must be sent by the Lord to a generation for this grace to come to them. It is a grace that cannot be accessed by the strength of human discipline, fasting or prayer. It can only be accessed on the grounds of mercy because this grace is an extension of mercy.

The Lord is coming to us in this season and the primary way that the Lord comes to His people is by revelation. Another meaning of the word ‘revelation’ is ‘appearance’. This is not talking about the Lord appearing to one in a vision or trance. For a believer to experience this type of appearance, he must have been built as a full Christ; having completed faith, hope and charity.

The people that can experience the coming of Jesus in this capacity are those who have been sanctified (1Pet. 1:1-2; Jam. 1:1). They are people in whom Christ has been formed. It is this kind of people that can receive the grace mentioned in 1 Peter 1:13. It is not a grace for ephemeral things; it is a grace that is meant to help people see Jesus as the everlasting Father. The Lord does not send this grace without sending ministering spirits.

For the Lord to open these things properly, He needs to send angels. Angel Michael has layers of words and graces within him. There are certain things that he wants to tell us. The Lord wants to do a very definite work in this season. We may not all enter it now; but as a company, the Lord wants to register something in the spirit about everlasting life. This is why there is a heightened activity of angels around God’s servant, Reverend Kayode Oyegoke.

One of the chief things that the Lord wants to do is to communicate grace. He wants a people to grasp and understand things that are everlasting. The church that Peter was writing to came to that season wherein the grace had to be brought to them. That was why he admonished them to be sober and hope for the grace. Without grace, our seeking would be futile.

God gave the revelation of Jesus to Him so that He would give high servants (Rev. 1:1). The churches that were being written to here are higher than the 1 Peter church. They were not only sanctified folks; they were everlasting churches. God gave it to Jesus who then sent His own angel to demonstrate things that the church needed to know, to enable them finish their everlasting life curriculum, so that they would begin to touch things eternal.

“John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne…” (Rev. 1:4). This grace is a high grace. There is something that is visiting us by the declaration of the mouth of His servant. All churches that are hearing these words form one ground in Christ; they are Jesus’ ground. Grace is being ministered and is being brought by the Lord through ministering spirits, just like in the Book of Revelation. We should make sure that we receive what the Lord has sent.

Angels should not be strange to us. They are ministering spirits sent to us because we need help (Heb 1:14). We were warned in 1 Peter 1:13 to gird up the loins of our minds and be sober. This is not the time to test doctrines. The loins of our minds are our thoughts, and the doctrine is what holds our mind together. In being sober, we should not be overtly excited in the flesh but should hope perfectly for the grace that will be brought to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ as the everlasting Lord. We need Him to be revealed so that we can see the Eternal God.

Blessings!
