Text: Hebrews 13:21
Status is a biblical race. There is something in God that needs to be contended for but men do not really understand this. This is because Satan has blinded men by putting glories around the earth and causing men to strive for it. There is a race in the spirit that men ought to run. God is the communicator of how men should be risen. John rose in scripture, this means John grew (Matt 11:11). This also means other men rose but they were not as great as John. The sons of God were taught of God to be risen. The enemy of resurrection or the raising of men has some type of resurrection. Angels are spirits.
Heavens are spiritual, earth is living. Adam was of the earth, earthy (1 Cor. 15:47). To be earthy is to be a living soul. Adam never learned to become a living soul, he was made so. All others like Abel, John, Abraham, had to journey to become a living soul through learning. God has the manual for raising Adams. The last Adam (Jesus) journeyed beyond a living soul and broke into becoming a quickening spirit.
Earth in scripture does not mean soil, rather, it is a lower dimension to the spiritual plane (heaven). The idea of earth came from God. it is a place of growth. If the earth submits to God, it would be made to rise to the heavens. Angels are not earthy, they are of the heavens while man is of the earth, earthy. Angels were made so they do not grow but man was made to grow.
Jesus ended the Adamic race and began another kind of race. Many people interpret the kingdom of God as having riches on earth but this is not so. The kingdom of God is the emancipation from flesh. The purpose of the earth is to raise mankind that will inherit the new heavens and the new earth. God’s intention is to make men who will experience growth.
Angels do not grow, the present heaven cannot accommodate growth. The present heavens are inferior to man because they cannot accommodate growth. The status of the quickening spirit is so high and potent that they can set heaven ablaze...
The Lord is so powerful that even heaven, an invisible realm, would flee before His face (Rev 20:). The reason why the heavens are not visible to us is that it exists at a higher speed. The spiritual dimension that is to take us on the journey to heaven is at the same frequency as our spirit. The reason why Jesus could ascend bodily into the heavens is because His body had been quickened by the speed of His quickened spirit. Things that are done in the unseen are faster than those which can be seen physically.
The speed of God supersedes that of angels; likewise, His thoughts. God desires to make us of quick understanding. He is so magnificent that He can only be made visible by Jesus. Jesus is the illuminator of the glory of God; only Him can communicate God.
The force holding the elements of the heavens would be pulled apart by the force of God…
Jesus is made higher than the heavens; therefore, He is not a high priest of the present heavens but of good things to come which is the world to come. God is so high that it was meekness for Him to contend with Satan over Job. God was particular about Job because of His love for Job and His intention to raise him up. God is mindful of man and wants to raise man to the highest stature in the entire universe. Satan hates this and is making attempts to hinder us from reaching that height.
We are supposed to look for the new heavens and new earth (2Pet 3:13-14). The new heavens and new earth are things that belong to the right hand. We can not look for these things if we are not found without spot. This state is the blameless state of peace that is at the end of holy place. We are expected to hasten into these things - which are the new heavens and new earth (2Pet 3:12).
The present earth is made of things which are unseen. These things were resident in Adam, making him earthy. Similarly, the new heavens and earth would be made up of invisible things that would be resident in men. Those who would not reign in that world are those who did not receive the things of that world. Faith makes us to understand that the worlds are framed by the word of God (Heb 11:3). The word that would make new heavens and earth is different from the word that made the present.
The things that make up a world are what is consolidated to become one word. The things that make up that world are taught to men to give them understanding to make them custodians of the word. Currently, the cherubs are holders of the present heavens by a word that was given to them (Heb 2:2-3). This word is the salvation realm of the heavens and is held by the cherubs. The word that is being committed to men is the salvation of the earth.
The word of salvation was heard upon the mount by a few apostles (1Pet). The longsuffering of the Lord is what gives rise to this word of salvation (2Pet 3:15). Only those who can suffer long in this manner can hold the word of salvation. Apostle John had this longsuffering and could wait on the Isle of Patmos for this word of God ().
God is the one who will assess those that will be found (2Pet 3:14). God is eager to become the “Lord God of the holy prophets” (); who are prophets of teh new heavens and earth. These prophets would be entrusted with the care of the world to come (Heb 2:5); they would be given the more sure word of God. The Father loved the Son and gave Him that word that no man could bear.
Resurrection went to hell when Jesus went to hell in obedience. This was to put resurrection to the test of death. Death became a tool to perfect the resurrection state of Jesus. On His third day, Jesus was raised from hell to show that death could not hold resurrection. He became fit for the throne while He was in hell. Some saints of old like Enoch, Moses and Elijah were kept away from death unlike Jesus whose script was to go to hell. Many christians are passing through hell while here on earth.
The more sure word of prophecy are the things which we are to look for; things which Paul spoke of in all his epistles (2Pet 3:14-16). The early church knew this which was why Peter entreated them to grow a particular manner of growth (2Pet 3:17-18). This is a growth that embodies the framing/building of the new heavens. The materials for this building are invisible because the new heavens are highly spiritual.
Finding such things would result in being saved eternally and without turning; just like God is. God would only trust who are eternally saved with the new heavens. The angels are not eternally saved and do not match the speed of that new heavens.
There is a holy conversation that receiving these things hinges on. Those who are mindful of the world to come realize what is at stake. An opportunity lies ahead of us to attain a status of resurrection that is relevant in that world. That world is unseen but is worth bidding our whole life on. Many men do not realize this until they breathe their last and realize that they have lived their lives to purchase fleeting things.
The kings of the earth to come are living soul men who would be luminaries for carnal christians. The status of everyone in the world to come would be determined by the extent of meekness. It is a meek man that can subdue that earth (Matt 5:5). A meek man would have already learnt to subdue his body as a training on how to subdue the earth.
Hypocrisies, envying, anger and strife are some beasts of our flesh that we must learn to subdue. Some men think that pride is valuable but they are merely fearful men who have nothing inside. It is beastly for a woman to not submit to her husband. The woman is to be strong against the devil; not against her husband. Marriage is a sacred institution that resembles the relationship between heaven and earth. We must get it right in marriage. Apostle Peter is instructing us to keep the feast of charity spotless especially in our dealings towards our brothers.
