“ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse…” (Romans 1:20). The Eternal power is the stature of a person. Christ is not the eternal power, but He is the power of God or the power of Divine life (Romans 1:16). Christ is also known as the godliness of God. However, we need the eternal power of God to become sons of God.

In the realm of the spirit, power is seen as the ability of a man to obey the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ; and not by his expression of the gifts of the Spirit or his ability to perform miracles. Power is the ability to bring together or muster the ingredients of God’s nature.

Angels are heavenly and not earth entities; but man is of the earth (1 Corin. 15:47). God’s intent is to turn men into beings who are like angels (i.e., heavenly beings). The operations of the heavens are different from that of earth. God wants to turn man to “born-angels”, who are different from the “created angels”. The heavens of such men will be the kind that can accommodate beings that are born.

The New Birth is the first step that every believer must take. When this is done, the soul would have to make a spiritual journey to trap the nature of God. Everything about the world to come has to be based on nature of souls. It would be a world of transference of natures. God seeks to bring the ministry of the New Testament to this present earth. However, there are forces that are hindering this ministry from operating conducively on earth.

The actual New Testament is the glorious gospel of Christ which is the gospel of God (2 Corin. 4:4, Romans 1:1). This gospel of God is different from the gospel of Christ (Romans 1:16). Christ differs from God, because God is more than Christ. Our God is the God of Christ; while Christ is He who became the Son of our God. The Gospel begins with the gospel of our Lord (Christ). Christ is the new generation specie or the new man; but there is also the perfect man (2 Corin. 5:17). The New Birth begins with the new man and then graduates into the perfect man (Eph. 4:13). God wants us to first become the perfect man, after which we will grow into becoming the Sons of God.

The new man ends in the Outer Court while the perfect man begins in the Holy Place. The man in the Holy Place is both new and perfect; he is a man meant for God or one who is after God. The new man is not an ordinary man because he is first created in righteousness, then in true holiness (Eph. 4:24). Righteousness and true holiness are what make a man to be rightly positioned to look for God. Anyone who is at this state has attained fullness but has not yet been raised to sit on the throne. The man who can sit on the throne is one who has been fully begotten of God.

Any child of God who is born again must engage in learning in order to become a son of God. For a man to receive (or believe) on the Son of God, he must have first been able to receive Christ. To receive Christ is to be rightly positioned for the receiving of the forgiveness of sins through the faith that is in Him (Acts 26:18). Christ is the power of God unto salvation. When a man rejects faith, he rejects that which will lead him to become a son of God at any level. It is those who receive or believe on the Son of God that are given power to also become sons of God (John 1:12). We therefore need to receive (believe on) the Son of God to have Everlasting Life (John 3:16).

“Believing in Him” is different from “believing on His name” (John 3:16-18). Those who believe on His name have already received Him as Christ; therefore, He gave them the power to become the sons of God. The power to become the sons of God is life everlasting. Any man outside the realm of Everlasting Life is not yet a son of God because every son of God possesses Everlasting Life. For anyone to be fully preserved for God and immuned to any kind of harm, he must have received life everlasting.

The everlasting gospel is the power of God. Power in this sense does not refer to power of performance, but power as a representative of a personality (God). God cannot go lower than the state of Everlasting Life. However, if there is a need to go lower, He would adapt a new form like He did through Christ. It was when He wanted to come down to the level of man that He showed Himself as Christ.

There is the gospel but there is also the everlasting gospel (Rev. 14:6). The everlasting gospel is the gospel of the everlasting God or of the things of everlasting life. This everlasting life is also called the eternal power. It is the constitution of the fullness of God on which the Godhead will rest (Col. 1:19/2:9). Therefore, the two components of Eternal Life are the Godhead and His eternal power (or everlasting life). It could also be classified as the Godhead and His body. Without understanding the body of God, which is His fullness, one cannot understand or know the Godhead.

The relationship between God and His body can best be understood through the relationship between a man and his wife. A woman who can carry (submit under) her husband can carry God. Scripture says the woman that fears the Lord she shall be praised (Prov. 31:30). Some women in the world have been craving liberation from under men, but in reality they want liberation from under God. This is the work of Satan. We must learn to stay under.

Jesus is carrying the Godhead bodily. He is both God's power and eternal power. Our Lord Jesus embodies everything about God. This is why we need to fear Jesus and conduct ourselves in an orderly manner around Him. The reason why many do not fear Him is because they do not know Him. We must not behold the Lord in contempt. Jesus possesses so much that we must not misbehave around Him lest we inherit a curse, instead of a blessing.

The ministry of eternal power is the ministry of the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. There was no one called “Christ” until God brought Him forth; and He became a Gospel.

Christ is a tiding that God kept in Himself; He is the least of the powers of God. Yet, He is very important because He is the access to the other powers of God. If a man rejects Christ, he will not receive eternal power. We cannot push Christ aside because He is the way to get to the everlasting God. Christ trapped everlasting life; so, anyone who will receive everlasting things must come through Him.

The world to come (new heavens) is the heaven we should aspire to make, and not this present heaven (Rev. 21:1). To make heaven in the real sense is not to go to this present heaven, but to have a placement in the heaven of the world to come. The present ministry of the New Covenant is given for men to choose their eternal abode; and what is in the covenant are the ingredients of transition. It was spoken of Jesus that while He was still on earth, He was in heaven by virtue of the level of His thoughts. He had His realm of affairs in the heavenly realm through His thoughts.

Marriage is an everlasting covenant. Women must carry (submit under) their husbands well, while husbands must respect their wives. Nobody can bear God without having His fullness. To come under is to inherit the stature to carry fullness because we must inherit stature to bear the Head. No man can carry the Head without coming into the full covenant of Everlasting Life. We must develop in the ability to give God rest. Jesus carried God alone while He was on earth; the disciples could not help Him because they did not have His stature (Matt. 26:40).

A wife must be raised or built to bear the responsibility of carrying the husband because she is the body on which the crown will rest. This is one of the reasons why God values women! Jesus was the first wife of God and then, He became God's Son. God therefore expects Jesus to raise more women who can bear Him. These may not all be physical women but persons of the Most Holy realm.

The Holy Spirit will groom daughters who will have the stature of Eternal Life, and they would be able to protect their homes against the adversary. God will also raise men who will be void of wickedness; He will adorn both the women and the men.
