Inheriting the Incorruptible Seed (Part 1 WTVPM)

Programme:  Writing the Vision Prayer Meeting (WTVPM) - Day 2

Date: Tuesday, 16th May 2023

Transcript Summary

1. In this season, we must be strengthened in the milk dimension of the word so that we can know how to act and make decisions that are in the order of holiness. The milk of the word has the consecrations by which it separates and preserves believers from corruption. This means that the other allocations of the word – Christ and everlasting life – give a higher preservation to the soul (1 Thess. 5:23).

2.“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…” (1 Pet. 1:3). The living hope is a hope that the living God gives. It is that which charity hopes for (1 Cor. 13:7). Therefore, it is one who has reached the peak of charity that can hope for the living God. A believer who is still carnal cannot see (understand) this hope, except the eyes of his understanding are enlightened.

3. “That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ…” (Col. 2:2). Christ, the Father and God are all dimensions of love. We must love one another fervently, for love purifies the soul. After continual declarations by faith, we see hope and then come into love because it is a journey. The demand for love is placed on us so that we can press into understanding because the absence of love will hinder our siCght.

4. Instructions come for us to love the brethren so that hearts can be knitted together and the door of the mystery would be opened. Our hearts must be knitted together for us to access every entrance into the allocation of Christ. This is because it is in the midst of the brethren that God declares things (Heb. 2:12).

5. When we are having difficulty comprehending doctrine, we should check if our love walk is still intact. Our hearts must perfect the love in the curriculum or dimension of Christ before the next allocation can be opened to us. This is because the curriculum of Christ does not make one incorruptible. In this context, the curriculum of Christ refers to an allocation or economy that God gives as we journey; it is not the person of our Lord Jesus, who came into all these dimensions of love (Christ, the Father and God) in the days of His flesh.

6. There is the word of Christ and also the word of the living God, which is the incorruptible seed that is quick and powerful (Heb. 4:12). The word of Christ is meant to sanctify and separate us from corruption. But even when we have been separated from corruption, we still need to be preserved further.

7. “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God…” (Col. 1:10). The understanding of Christ will make us walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing and be fruitful. When we walk to please the Lord, we can then become fruitful in every good work. If we can bear the fruit of the life of Christ, we can hope for the hope of the living.

8. Incorruptibility is the inheritance that the living God wants to give to the soul. When we receive the incorruptible seed (1 Pet. 1:23), our hearts have to first keep it and then cooperate with it. Then, we will begin to bring forth the life (or fruits) of that seed. It is when God sows His seed (word) into our hearts that He can truly become our Father.

9. “To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you…” (1 Pet. 1:4). These are the inheritances of the living God. When you come to the realm of incorruptibility, you still have to move into being undefiled and unfading. When a heart is made undefiled, it cannot concoct something else other than God or do its own thing. One who is undefiled has come to a position where he can guard his heart against issues that are not the issues of the life of the living God. This is why we are asked to guard our hearts (Prov. 4:23)

10. The inheritance of the living God are not things that can be seen physically; they are things kept in the realm of heaven. When they fall into a heart, they make it heavenly. This is why the eyes of our understanding have to be enlightened (Eph. 1:18)

11. Another word for the incorruptible is salvation. Therefore, a soul that has inherited it is saved (1 Pet. 1:9). Incorruptible substances are being preached to us for the purpose of saving our souls. These are the wonderful things that God is preparing for them that love Him (1 Cor. 2:9). However, it is only a heart that has learnt the curriculum of Christ that can come into this.

12. Thoughts can defile a man. Every action of man follows a thought, otherwise, it will not be reckoned. Corruption is first a thought before an action. The world is fast racing towards corruption but painting incorruptibility through the deception of many innovations by which he attempts to be like God. But anything that comes out of man cannot be perfect. The incorruptible life is a seed that comes out from God. The only incorruptibility that is genuine is the one that is a result of the seed of God.

Blessings!
