“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; [45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” (Matt. 5:44-45). Loving your enemies, blessing them that curse you, doing good to them that hate you, and praying for them which despitefully use and persecute you are key criteria to becoming the children of our Father, for these are the things that He does. One thing this scripture communicates, above any other things, is a change of nature. There is a nature that every man is at par with, for they were spoken to us.

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.” (Matt. 5:43). This law was communicated to men, prior to Jesus’ coming and it had worked out a certain configuration in them. It was a righteousness that came about by sayings, and was approved by the law. That which is spoken is meant to work out something in us. Words are spoken in order to cause a nature to be formed in us. By default, we are all a frameup of words, for we all live by what we have heard or what we have been taught.

“And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? (Matt. 19:16). The rich young ruler was able to keep all the commandments of the law because of what had been said. He was living by what had been said through the law. Although this was a form of righteousness, he knew that he was lacking in something. Jesus, therefore, brought another higher saying which, if internalized by a man, will cause him to be marked right according to the sayings of the Lord. Something framed man to be such that hates his enemies, but to break down such formations in us, another saying had to be brought to us.

We need to give attention to doctrine and come into the understanding of doctrine in our souls. The commandment in this season of everlasting life, which is to love our enemies, may seem as though they are impossible for a man to do, but God will not demand us to do something that we cannot do. If He does this, He will be unjust and unrighteous. We would not be deserving of being called sinners when we fail.

“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. (Job 32:8). From the above scripture, ‘inspiration’ means breath. This was the same breath that God breathed into Adam in Genesis 2:7. It was the breath that was capable of making him a living soul, not the natural air we know. Through this breath, God was giving Adam an understanding of a living-soul life. He was releasing a framework or stack of doctrine in Adam known as “living soul”. As such, He understood faith, hope and charity (1 Cor. 13:13). This, therefore, means that what God can give you can make you become a kind of man.

“For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward…” (Heb. 2:2). God also formed the angels through words. As such, angels also have their own word or breath. A cherub has a breath (understanding) that makes him stand in the Most Holy Place of heaven, a seraphim has a breath that will make him stand in the Holy Place in heaven, while angels of the works in all places of His dominion also have their breath. When God gives you breath, He is communicating an understanding and it is out of this understanding that God can begin to command you. If that understanding does not visit your heart, God will not begin to command you.

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Matt. 5:48). Some people believe that it is not possible for man to be perfect while on earth, but if we believe this, we will be discrediting all that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 5-7. When we were learning Christ, there were some obediences that we could fulfil because the breath or understanding we had then was Christ’s breath. The scripture that commands us to love our enemies can only be obeyed by those whom the breath for the obedience of that commandment has entered into. A man will not be able to do commandments when the breath of that word is not available to him.

“And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 18:3). In this season, the Lord wants to convert us to become as little children. The state of little children is the highest level of conversion in the kingdom. We must therefore begin to see the need for a nature change. In this season, wrong natures will drop from us. That thing that makes it difficult for us to dwell together with our brethren is not the problem of our brethren problem but ours. The reason why a man will conclude that his brother has a problem is that he has a higher problem. The Lord will therefore have us pay attention to doctrine because that is the tool with which He converts us.

The reason why many of us still have the ability to hold some natures is because of the wrong doctrines we are holding on to. Satan used the tree of the knowledge of good and evil to install a doctrine in man. From this doctrine, the ability to sin or do wickedness came forth. However, we ought to find grace to fight our wars because any wrong doctrine we hold on to is a sure tool that Satan will use in committing us to iniquity and pulling us down.

The wrong things we are holding onto are not just what have been said by men but by spirits as well. Spirits have enforced some things which we live by and think are right. Satan is fighting us tooth and nail so that we will not keep the commandments of God. He began with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden and is still fighting to date.

Many times, when the Lord gives us words, He creates scenarios for what has been said to become our own. When God spoke to Adam, He created a scenario to make that thing inside Adam called “breath” to become his own. The same thing was replicated for our Lord Jesus. It took time for God to frame Jesus. When He was fully framed, He was led into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil (Matt. 4:1). Doctrine cannot really become our own until they have been tested and proven; until when the Lord has taken a man through the process by which he can come into its ownership.

Every time we live short of the life in Jesus Christ, we live short of that light. In Him was everlasting and Eternal Life. Each of the lives is a light that must be communicated. If one’s walk is not bringing forth life, then such a person is not living by that light.  It is easy for us to see the wrong in someone else because of wrong judgment or light. We judge according to our light. When you judge your brother wrongly, there is a wrong light in you (Isa. 8:20).

We have been commanded not to judge because we do not have the right parameters of judgment in us (Matt 7:1). Any man that judges his brother judges from a light. When we judge our brothers wrongly, what we have inside of us is a wrong light. However, when we judge righteously, it means a work has been done on the inside of us that is at par with righteousness.

“Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, [2] As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby…” (1 Pet. 2:1-2). One key thing the Lord wants to do to us in this season is conversion. Nicodemus marvelled when the Lord told him to be born again (John 3:3). He could not comprehend what Jesus was referring to; however, Jesus was speaking about nature conversion. The Lord, by speaking, can change a man’s nature. It is by speaking that a man who is full of anger can change into a man that is weak and meek. This is possible because of the potency of what is being spoken. When we do some things, we usually do not see that they are a result of the strength of a law. As long as that law remains within us, it will be difficult to obey another law.

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death” (Rom. 8:2). The law of the Spirit of life in Christ has the potency to make a man free from the law of sin and death. It is difficult for a man to be free from vices such as envy, if another law has not been communicated to him. Your inability to rejoice with your brother, when he rejoices, is born out of a law also. As long as that law remains, sin will remain. You need the higher law that Jesus is giving to pull down the former wrong law. If we are not exposed to a new law, the former laws will still remain in us, making it difficult for us to obey the law of God.

“The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law” (1 Cor. 15:56). This sin is standing because it has a legal ground to stand. Wrong laws can harm whosoever carries them. The strength and hold that sin has over our lives is its law. When something is a sin, it is not just in the commission. It is almost near impossible for a man to break free from sin. However, when another law is introduced to that man, he can break free from that sin. The strong man (Satan) has things, which we carry. The person that must enter into the house of a strong man is a stronger man (Matt. 12:29). When He is coming, He must come with His things. This is because if the house is left empty, the man will look for stronger men to occupy it and make it more difficult to cleanse (Matt. 12:43-45).

The essence of the coming of light to us is to deal with darkness. When we use that light to live, darkness can be expunged. However, if light comes and it is not being used, we will give darkness the strength to morph and become gross darkness. If that same level of light comes to deal with that darkness, it will not work.

We do not know the extent of man's fall in Genesis. God does not want to kill us by giving us commandments, rather, He wants to save us. The Being on the throne is called Salvation (Rev. 7:10). Nothing can move Him. When God brings commandments to us, He will also bring scenarios to test those commandments because He knows we have what it takes to be able to wrestle down our wrong laws. The Lord wants to work out a nature in a people such that they will be perfect, even as He is perfect. When this is done, we will begin to have a change of name.

We ought not to listen to people who argue against Eternal Life and everlasting life. The obedience we are fulfilling at these times is not just for ourselves but also for the body of Christ. The manchild company will be born, Satan will fall and their mother (the Church) will have the opportunity to be fed  (Rev. 12:5-6). Therefore, we ought to learn the laws of everlasting life and allow them to become our doctrine. When we receive doctrines, God will be able to command us. We should fight to keep everlasting life because there are other doctrines that are ready to spoil a man.

The Lord wants a people of righteousness, therefore,  He is bringing everlasting substances to us. He is also bringing the law of fervent charity to us. Therefore, we should ensure that there is no ill-feeling between ourselves and our brethren. Anything that prevents us from relating well with our brethren will deny us salvation.

Salvation is at stake, therefore, we should fight to do fervent charity and to keep the law of love. We should not excuse our darknesses, thinking we cannot save everybody. We should strive to keep the law of charity, irrespective of how we feel or the lie that Satan is telling us concerning our brethren.
