A lot of work was done by Satan on the understanding of man after the fall and this has impaired man’s judgment. Man therefore defines or concludes things according to the understanding or reasoning of flesh.

The new birth is seen as a pass or a way by which we can gain or access the better things of this life but this is not the true essence of the New Birth. The destiny of the church is nothing here on earth and saints will eventually come into this reality. Rev Kenneth E. Hagin also said that a time will come when the church will become more mature than natural things.

Satan gave a vain gift to men. This gift is a lifestyle, and they do all to protect it. This life was given to man so that he will not accept the life of God. When God’s life is being preached, it is considered a hard thing to understand. Men rather feel that the vain life is better, but this is only a lie of Satan.

There is more to man than his outward body. Man is a tripartite being; he has an inner man (his spirit), an inward man (his soul) and an outward man (his body). Satan has made the needs of the outward man look like the only need of man, but actually, the needs of man are more than that which pertains to the outward man.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. [48] I am that bread of life. [49] Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. [50] This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. [51] I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” It is the man whom the Father has sealed that God has given everlasting life. God gave Jesus the key or wisdom of confectionaries (bread and cake). Bread is also referred to as ‘meat offering’ because it is an offering that can be given instead of flesh. As such, instead of giving God physical flesh, we should give Him bread because God does not eat flesh. He rather takes bread.

No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.” (Lev. 21:2). Bread is a property of purity and holiness; it is more holy than flesh. A priest is not qualified to offer to God if his flesh is not holy enough to handle bread, that is, if his flesh has not been transformed into bread. To make a man Holy is to make him a bread. A priest is a man who has been separated; he has entered into the room or house of bread—even Bethlehem.

Jesus was bread when He came to earth. He is also the Lamb of God. This was signified by where he was born—in a manger—a place for lambs. He was given birth to in a place where straw can be found. To God, the purity for animals is measured by their ability to eat straw. As such, animals that eat straw are clean. This means that Jesus was laid in a clean place. According to Leviticus, a clean place is a place where the most Holy offering is offered.

The earth was not clean enough. Before God, giving birth to Jesus in the places where kings are birthed was not clean  those ae not humble places. It is in the place of straw that you will find bread, for it is a house of bread. Jesus could only be born in the house of bread in Bethlehem of Judea. This was the same place where it was recorded that Racheal was crying for the loss of her children.

This Rachel also typifies Rachael, the mother of Joseph and Benjamin, in a figure. Being the mother of these two tribes, Rachael is therefore the mother of the onyx (which represents Joseph) and the jasper or sardine stones (which represents Benjamin). These stones are the colours of everlasting and Eternal Life.

The Onyx stone is the color of Thummim, the dark stone. It typifies the end of everlasting life. In the dressing of the priest, he usually wears the onyx stone on his shoulder and also among the twelve stones on his breastplate. This therefore means that the essence of the Thummim is to preserve all the twelve stones in life everlasting. Another word for onyx is death. As such, all the tribes of Israel (which represent the people of God) are expected to die (end) in everlasting life.

“Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God. [18] For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, [19] Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, [20] Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken” (Lev. 21:17-20). A priest is the governor of God’s house, for he bears the responsibility of the house. However, he cannot offer sacrifices to God if he still has blemishes in the spirit. In the spirit, a flat nose represents a man who cannot breathe or perceive, a broken footed man cannot walk the path in the spirit. A crookbacked or a dwarf cannot rise up to measure the altar; this means that he cannot see or do life.

“No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.” (Lev. 21:21). The offering of the bread of his God is to offer the life of his God. He can also eat this bread until he is healed of his blemishes. When he is healed, he can offer unto God. You cannot offer what you eat until you are healed by it. It is what you are eating that you should offer. What you eat (bread) should produce (bear fruit) in your life until the bread presents you holy.

When Jesus was on earth, He did not preach Christ-life but the everlasting gospel. In preaching this, He made reference to bread. Bread is a holier meat than flesh because bread was taken from grounded grains grounded and made into flour, kneaded together and then baked. Bread usually goes through a process, therefore, it is a tried food. Anybody who will eat it should become like it, just like Jesus.

Everlasting life is not the interpretation of abundant life as it has been generally misconceived. It is a process and a thorough life, which when given to a person, will make him hunger no more. The purpose of everlasting life is to put you to rest. According to John 6:39-40, you will not be raised up on the last day if you have not been turned from flesh to bread. No man eats the bread and will not become the bread. It is not flesh that is raised on the last day, but a man who has been converted to bread (a state of non-existence as a man).

A man must turn from existence into non-existence. Bread is a non-living commodity. When we eat bread, we are actually eating death (a state of non-existence as a man). Bethlehem is a house of bread (death). When you eat that bread, you will die. The only answer to your being hungry is your death. The word “death” means killing your response to Satan's life. It means Satan will no longer be able to pull you because you have eaten the incorruptible life. Jesus will not raise a corrupt man on the last day.

Bread is will and will is the food of the priest. The will of God is the desire of God for those who will respond to Him. It refers to God's passionate ambition upon a person. When God is in love with a person, He moves His will towards such a person. The will of God is so that you will have life. God will not come to raise you until you have died to something He abhors. The last day does not refer to the rapture. The last day is the day when God will raise you up into Eternal Life. Everlasting life has its last day. The purpose of eating bread is to raise you up on the last day.

The two lights on the breastplate of the High Priest are insignia for ‘every good and perfect gift’ which cometh down from the Father of lights, in whom there is no variableness or shadow of turning (Jam. 1.17, Lev. 8:8). The first light is bright while the other light is dark. The dark light is for teaching the mystery of dying completely. It has an ability to quiet the life of iniquity and the hunger for it. The light of iniquity cannot shine in this darkness because the darkness quenches that light. The end of the darkness is to bring the light that iniquity offers to complete darkness. Iniquity then dies completely.

When iniquity abounds, it affects love. Iniquity is a high life opportunity that death offers. It is difficult for a man to refuse it; even Jesus had to be empowered to hate it (Heb. 1:9). Iniquity is the core of man’s life; it is what makes men sit in darkness (Psa. 107:10-11). The prophets called it darkness but to men, it is not darkness. When a life becomes dark, it loses its usefulness because its power has been shut down. When darkness is brought over works, it shuts them down. The Thummim is the only thing that has the capacity to shut down the works of the devil.

Every man has a program within, which is the core of temptation. It is difficult for anyone to refuse it because it is the promise of greatness in life. Many preachers use their ministries to seek greatness. This is the root of compromise in the lives of many ministers. This promise is the meat which one labour for that can perish (Jn. 6:27). It resides deep in every man and we all seek to fulfil it in different ways. This core program is the mother of temptation, for from her comes the things of this world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and pride of life (1 Jn. 2:16). However, she is more than that; she is iniquity.

The man-child died as bread in Bethlehem; they (the company of the man-child) obeyed the laws of everlasting life. What the bread teaches is not that which will raise your lusts. There is the lust of the flesh and the lust of men. A man is a developed flesh; flesh is grass while a man is a tree (1 Pet. 1:24, Mat. 7:19-20). The soul has a program in it that makes it want to become eminent in life. This was what drove Eve to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen. 3:6). The souls of Adam and Eve were neither perfect nor corrupt but they could still be tempted. To be perfect is to be able to resist temptation and not allow the penetration of the core program. We should get to a place where our souls cannot be pulled by temptation – this is the reason for everlasting life (Jam. 1:14).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” (John 6:7). The Apostles believed Jesus while He spoke these words, but they did not have everlasting life at that moment. They believed Him but they did not believe on Him. To believe on Him is to completely believe all that is revealed about Him. This has nothing to do with demonstration of power; rather it has to do with a demonstration of spiritual character that is difficult for Satan to devour. Satan is a murderer and a devourer, but he cannot devour a man with the full stature of everlasting life (1 Pet. 5:8-10). Allowing everlasting life to run its full cycle makes it impossible for the adversary to devour a man. Bread is the solution to the life that Satan has given men. Satan has also created his own bread, and he has put a lust for that bread in people.

“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” (john 6:35). When you hunger for and eat of the bread of life, your desire to be eminent will be quenched. Satan bloats flesh but when God gives you everlasting life, you become bread and you become small. The meat offering of an animal is small relative to its size. God regards the bread more than the flesh. The flesh is eaten by the priests, but God demands the bread of that animal to be sacrificed to Him as a sweet-smelling savour (Num. 28:2). The meat is the bread, but heaven has shrunk and converted it to another material. This bread cannot be converted back to flesh. The bread lesson is a priestly learning. If God wants to make you a priest, He will make you a bread. Every time you eat bread, you are turning into bread.

Everlasting life is a small life; it is a bread life. The message of everlasting life can cause one to lose friends. Jesus taught this message, and many of his disciples left Him (John 6:66). Everlasting life is a seed that God puts inside of His own. In the seed of everlasting life is also natural wealth, for everything is in the seed. Instead of labouring, it is changing the order of meeting needs. Everlasting Life is sure, and a time will come that anyone who has it will never die again.

Anyone who eats everlasting life may not die. It means everlasting life will give you the ability not to die when given in full, that is if you can eat it to the finish. In verse 44 of John chapter 6, the last day of everlasting life is the entrance into Eternal Life. All the days in everlasting life will be finished. We should be keeping the sabbath of that life until it is finished. If there is the last day, there must be the first day. So there is the first and the last; there is a beginning, and there is an end (Rev. 22:13).

Coming to Jesus is not just getting born again. The giver of everlasting life is Jesus. To come to Jesus, one needs to be born again, after which one needs to have Christ or have life. The Holy Ghost will give you life, and with this life, you draw closer to everlasting life. After you have fulfilled life, God will give you to Jesus for Him to give you the life of the Father. The reason Jesus will have to give you the Father's life is so at the end of that life, you will be raised up.

To be raised up is to be given Life Eternal. However, nothing is raised that is not bread. Anyone who has become bread is the one that can be raised up. Hence, it can only take everlasting life to comprehend Eternal Life. To see Eternal Life, it will take everlasting life. Man cannot approach Eternal Life, neither can he see it. He must be dead to see it. Therefore, death kills the hunger that Satan has put in the soul.

John 17:2

"As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him." (John 17:2). No man can come to Jesus until the Father brings him. The Father will raise and present them to Jesus. God takes people from flesh and gives them to Jesus. Jesus raises them to give them everlasting life. It takes time to come to Jesus. A young believer has to be given life first and be raised out of flesh to become spiritual.

When he becomes spiritual, he is given to Jesus because Jesus officiates two realms: the sanctuary and the true tabernacle. When you hear ‘true/truth’, that is everlasting life. The truth of the true life is everlasting life. To know the only true God as the Only Begotten Son is the realm of the Eternal God.  God will take us gradually to meet Jesus and when we meet Him, He will give us life everlasting and Eternal Life.

Revelation 14:13

"And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."

The works of the dead in this scripture is everlasting life. To “have rest" is to enter Eternal Life.

Isaiah 62:11

"Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him."

The reward is rest. Rest is eternal life; works are everlasting life. So the dead who die in the Lord would be raised up with both Eternal life and everlasting life. They will be raised into rest. To rest is not to sleep but to have a type of life higher than life everlasting. You can't practice the rest in Rev. 14:13 if you don't know how to rest. To live Eternal Life, you need a degree of death, else you will destroy the sabbath. You won't have an understanding of the sabbath. Sabbath is a very high life; a man cannot be unholy and enter sabbath. No man will enter the sabbath if he is not dead. Death here also means preparation to live in Eternal rest. Everlasting life is rest and Eternal life is also rest. Eternal life is rest for those who have everlasting life. To rest is to cease from work (Gen. 2:2, Lev. 25:3-4).

There are weekly rests, rest of months and rest of years. Rests of years are high rests for a whole nation to practice. The promised land is a rest world. The promise is life - how to live. How to live eternally are realms of Eternal rest where you would not labour eternally. You need the labour to practice the rest. The labour is the capacity to practice the rest. The closer a man is to rest, the more priestly he becomes. Jesus our High Priest is a priest with a terrific high judgement of rest.

The tree of life is in Eden, the realm of rest. The pleasures of the Lord are resting things. He will make you rest. He will make you break through His life but to do so, They will have to raise you. To raise means to train, teach or equip. Men with everlasting life would need to be equipped with eternal ability again. They will be equipped quickly to live where God lives. Our permanent eternal holiday is our home. Many Christians are born again and are in heaven but are not resting. They are not resting because they haven't been given rest. Rest is not departure to a planet, or the spirit going into heaven but a practice in the soul of a man.

The birthplace of iniquity is unresting. A spirit brought it. Wickedness is coming from unrest. Satan was at rest but the day he began to be in unrest, iniquity was born. So, the foundation of sin is lack of rest. Lack of rest will birth breaking of truce. Lack of rest brought selfishness and ambition. Immortality is rest. Immortal food is rest. God's servant hears the Lord say to Him "Manna is a meat of rest". The children of Israel were not doing anything and they were eating. They didn't understand this, because Egypt has communicated having life through unrest. God said they should not do anything but eat. After some time, they questioned the food because of lack of unrest.

God is bringing us to a place of rest. If Israel could question manna in the wilderness, they would not be able to fathom the promised land. So, rest is for a spirit that can believe. To rest is to believe. If you don't believe, there can't be Eternal Life. To believe is not just to have faith, it is trust/reliance on God.

There is no rest for the wicked. When someone has no rest anymore, he can't turn. He can't be turned by God. He is destroyed. Destruction is when God can't find a place of rest inside of a man. If there is a tiny spot of rest in you, God can start from there, to reach a man to come to rest. But if there is no rest in a man, that is his end, which is iniquity.

Nothing can be restful like bread. Bread does not make noise, it is dead. You will never see a bread moving but an animal does not rest. Wherever you keep bread is where you will find it. May we eat bread till we become bread. Very soon, we will rest from our labours. We will labour until we rest. Rest is actually death. The technology of rest is to bring one to where he is no longer moveable so that God can bless him.

Satan does not want us to die. "..and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Rev. 12:11b). Our life is what everlasting life is going to take from us, then God takes us unto our eternal home. Eternal life is for those who are bread. God's servant is racing into where nothing will disturb his rest. The more dead you are, the more God is at work for you. God does not raise living men, that is, those who are alive to other things.

The sign of death that Jesus has is the sign that God can raise Him up. Jesus did not raise Lazarus when he was still sick; he allowed some time to pass so that Lazarus could die (Jn. 11:6). Jesus used this to teach how to be raised to Eternal life. We will never be raised into Life Eternal until we are dead. We will be in a place where men will look for us and won't find us because we are no longer in a place where men are found.
