Transcript Summary

1. The knowledge of God is not the same as the truth of God (John 1:15-18). Knowledge is the empowerment for knowing the truth. To know the truth is an ability to come into the discernment of something that passes knowledge. Many are in knowledge without receiving freedom because they have not known the truth (John 8:32). After knowledge, God wants to make us discern and know what truth is (1 Tim. 2:4)

2. Evil spirits are also originally made to carry grace at different levels. They were framed with grace, but not knowledge. They all had grace and truth; angels know and have truth. Everything God has given to us was first given to angels in a shadow (or at a lower level). This is why an angel could tell John that he was also a fellow servant who has the testimony of Jesus (Rev. 19:10). This implies that a long time ago, before the world was, the testimony of Jesus has been in operation. The testimony was not called “Jesus” while it was in them. It was only when Jesus Christ was revealed that they knew that it pertained to Him.

3. We need to hold the reality of the testimony. We have been taught the “knowledge” of the new covenant, but we are now being made to comprehend the reality of the knowledge. It is a great blessing to have knowledge, but knowledge is not enough to combat spirits; they are beyond knowledge. Most people have scriptures without knowledge. As much as knowledge is pivotal, there are powers beyond knowledge (Matt. 22:29). We must have knowledge and grow in it in order to have grace and increase in grace. Knowledge is the way to grace (2 Pet. 1:2). For this reason, we must not reject knowledge, otherwise, we will be bound in darkness. We must comprehend truth – we must have understanding. Understanding is the power to discern in the spirit. It is a kind of work done in a person to be able to touch, see and feel grace.

4. Knowledge is the ability to coordinate scriptures in a way that it aligns to measure. We all have measures that we have been given by the training of the Spirit. Knowledge must be of the truth; the knowledge of the truth comes from scriptures. The substances that drop in us from scriptures are called knowledge. Another word for knowledge is “the word of God’” (Col. 3:16). The way of the word is the spirit of the word. For way to be given, we have to first be dosed with knowledge. In order to have knowledge, we would receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that is, to be filled with the knowledge of His will in wisdom and spiritual understanding (Col. 1:9). Walking worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing is a way. Without ways, we cannot please God. To please the Lord, we must start with faith. Faith is not knowledge; faith is a spirit (2 Cor. 4:13)

5. There is an attitude of faith (Rom. 10:8). One can have the word of faith and not have the spirit of faith. The word of faith will prepare your attitude, while the spirit of faith will take you over to finish and do faith. If a man does not do faith, he will not find hope. Faith, hope and charity are experiences in the realm of the spirit. (Rom. 5:2-3) Glorying in tribulation is a spirit attitude and a nature of the way. The message of the faith of the Son is a teaching of way. When precepts are being rained on earth, we are being prepared for lines. Heaven is sensitive to lines. Evil spirits also check lines: they can easily detect if we are in the way or out of the way. The spirit that Paul was contending with was an entirely different way; it was a grace energy that was converted to darkness. After beseeching the Lord, he found the answer in the grace of the Lord.

6. When we are given spirit, we are given the way. When God is giving a new heart, He is not giving knowledge but is giving way. What makes up a new heart are spirits. There are three things that abide in Christ: faith, hope and charity (1 Cor. 13:13). Charity is greater than faith and hope. Faith and hope will do the same thing; they are similar in spirit impartation. Charity is another spirit entirely; it is not a fruit of the spirit but is a way of the spirit. Charity is a more excellent way (1 Cor. 12:31). (1 Tim. 1:5) We cannot do charity without a pure heart, which is the new heart. These things are spirits and cannot be seen when a man is doing them. When faith is finished, it becomes a pure heart. This is where charity can lay. Charity will then become the spirit of the heart. Out of the three commandments of faith, hope and charity, the first two are for the heart while charity, which is the greatest, is for the spirit that the heart will carry. Charity is powerful; it is the converting tool that gives the new heart a leverage into the heart of God. Charity is a spirit of exaltation that makes our heart the heart of God.

7. (Matthew 5:3-8). The beatitudes are grace levels in the heart. The beatitudes were inventions; they were graces that were at work. Jesus had graces; He is full of grace and truth. (John 1:14). We are meant to move from the word into the spirit. This is not a forward movement but a sideways movement, from precept to lines. Precepts are “here”, while lines are “there” (Isa. 28:9-10). One should gather both precepts and lines. “Here” is natural, but one should journey into the place in the spirit called “there”. Lines gain strength when they increase. When God is putting lines in a man, He is increasing the strength level of lines. Lines can align things; they can arrange themselves in a man.

8. The measure of the fulness of stature of the Son of God is lines, but we need to first have His knowledge (Eph. 4:13). What this knowledge will do is to make a perfect man. A perfect man is a measure; he is a kind of man. God needs more than precepts to make a man -- men are made and framed by lines. When the Church comes into measure and access lines, its harassment, mediocrity and defeatism will end. Sin is life and another life is needed for it to be taken out. Grace and truth are needed to take sin out of a person. Inside the way, we find truth; inside truth, we get life. We minister life to a person by giving him way (1 John 5:16-17). Sin is also a way. An evil spirit is a fallen doctrine. This indicates that he has a manner/way of life. Sin is a fallen life.

9. Preachers have a part to play in ministering the way by ministering the spirit (2 Cor. 3:6). However, everyone should grow the way in themselves and get the gift of the way so that we can give it to our children (Prov. 22:6). The reason children forget what they have learnt in church is because the learning has not yet become a way in them. Children learn ways more when they watch us than when we teach precepts. They observe when we give and when we show kindness to saints; they also observe when we get angry. Evil spirits want children to copy evil ways in us. What will solve the anomaly inside of man is way. God will have to make ministers more powerful than sin. When apostles minister, they rusticate sin. Paul handled Onesimus and turned him around from being unprofitable (Phil. 1:10-11). The demon in him stopped when he met the light in Paul. We must be empowered for us to become the sons of God (John 1:12). These powers are lines or graces which the Son will communicate to us.

10. Our children should be transacting in grace at a very early age and then later on, we further establish our children in truth. We must raise our children both with grace (life) and peace. The covenant of peace means that a person is settled -- no more war. This is the peace of Christ — the peace of the Son of God. We will begin to receive graces from our churches. No church service or meeting will be a waste. We must not play with meetings in this season. It is a time of mercy. It is a season of measure and God is giving measure and graces to people. The prayer of Psalm 23 is a prayer of lines. The Psalm continually mentions ways and paths. The purpose of the shepherdic office of the Lord is the dissemination of ways.
