The Beauty of the Lord is His Formation/Constituency

God wants to magnify the works that He did in Christ Jesus in our midst. The beauty of the gospel is that God has wrought this everlasting works in a Man. God has wrought everything He is demanding from us in His Son. Jesus is so beautiful; the more we understand Him, the more of His beauty we get to see. He is the handiwork of God, but He was not born so. He was made into that stature. He was made till He became the brightness of God's glory and the express image of His person (Heb. 1:3).

When we see the beauty of Jesus, we have hope that if God could achieve such beauty in His Son, then He can do the same in us. We are sometimes overwhelmed by our shortcomings or our wrong formations, which are not our fault because the enemy worked them out in us. He corrupted his nature and sold it to man. God does not blame anyone for what they are. His only judgment on man is when he refuses to accept light when it shines on his darkness.

When light shines on our wrong formations, it is so that we can agree and align with it to break those formations. There is no formation that the devil has formed in a man that the power of God cannot break otherwise, God will be unjust. God’s provisions are stronger than all of Satan's formations in men. He can break and scatter every evil formation in a man and rearrange the man to be like Himself.

The beauty of the Lord is His formation—how He is configured. Another example of a man in whom God worked out His nature is David. This was why he refused to kill Absalom and Saul when they sought after His life, even when He had the power and opportunity to do so. If God could achieve a level of perfection in David and completely finish it in our Lord Jesus Christ, then it is possible for us to also be perfect.

Although God is the creator of all things—the heavens and the earth, He is not proud. The reason why He is not proud is because there are laws that configure Him and make Him up. If these substances are committed to a man, they will make him humble under any circumstance. God is great, not because of His mighty deeds, but because of who He is. He is not great because of creation but because of His constituents. He can make anybody become great because the things in Him can be transferred to anybody who will receive them.

A man who does wonders and signs (a charismatic man) is not a great man if he does not possess the substances of God. Although our Lord Jesus possessed charisma, the nature of God was also formed in Him. Therefore, He was stable until the end and the devil had no way of entry into Him. As much as God appreciates the use and display of charismatic gifts He gives for the profit of man, He places more priority on the giving of His substances to us. God is very concerned about our inward configuration because it is profitable to both Him and us. It is the word of God that affects the nature of a man.

The Attitude of Total Dependence on the Father

One attitude of our Lord Jesus that stands out is the attitude of total dependence on His Father. He was dependent on His Father up to the end. This dependence is reflected in His actions and conversations therefore, Satan could not get Him (Jn. 5:30). What caused the fall of Satan was that he looked at himself and took his eyes off his Maker; he was no longer dependent on the one who made him. The devil was no longer interested in being who God wanted him to be and he was not satisfied. He tries to make man do this same thing; he teaches man to take his eyes from God and look at himself.

The more a person grows in influence, the more careful he must be. We should ensure that we are not independent of Him, we should also not forget that He is our Creator and that He has a plan of what we should be. What you should be is what determines what you are meant to do and what you do should be according to what God dictates. Once a person goes outside what God commands, he becomes something else. God has the master plan therefore, He has to be the one who will instruct you from the beginning to the end.

Believing Unto Everlasting Life -- The Real Work of God

"Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed." (John 6:27). Everlasting life is the sealing life; it is the life that is used to perfect a person to make him one who cannot turn. The Father gives life by giving understanding, knowledge and judgement. We need to be careful and fearful in this zone we are going into because much is being committed into our hands and also required from us. As a result, we cannot keep doing the same things we used to do in times past.

"Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?" (John 6:28). Man likes to work and he has ideas on how to serve God. When men talk about working the works of God, the first thing we think of is "preaching". But the person who preaches still needs to do the work of God. Although it is good to evangelize and be involved in charity works, those things do not tamper with the configurations in us, like the real work of God would. God wants to give life to man; He wants to raise a nature in man.

A man of God can yield to the Spirit of God, but in the next minute, yield completely to the flesh. This should make us humble. The fact that God uses you in a particular way should never make you puffed up. The formation inside you should make you humble every time. We should always assess ourselves by asking what we yield to when we are not preaching. What are the laws that run our everyday life? This is because this is also how spirits access us—both right and wrong spirits. It is wrong spirits that deceive us to access ourselves by the anointing on us.

"Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." (John 6:29).  The one whom God has sent is the one whom He has sealed, and He raised Him by knowledge and judgement. God then reveals the work He has done in the One whom He has sent. He instructs us to believe it. We believe by aligning and obeying the instructions that come to us in that season.

Becoming Everlasting by Obeying Everlasting Laws

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matt. 5:48). It is generally believed that no man can be perfect, but scriptures admonish us to be perfect, just like our heavenly Father is perfect. If the scriptures say it, it means it is possible. What we see in Matthew 5:44-48 are laws of perfection. A perfect man is the one who will pray for his enemies and do good to them that hate him (Matt. 5:44). Naturally, a person will refrain from someone who hates him. This is a law that we met on earth but we need the help of God to not slip into them. He will help us to overcome these laws by instructing us against them. The laws of God are not laws found with humans because humans have been wrongly wired.

When God gives us commandments, it is so that we can be quickened. We become everlasting by obeying laws. When we obey the commandments of God, they will break down our wrong configurations. Natures cannot be broken down until the Lord begins to speak to us, for by so doing, He will speak us out of those wrong natures. We also have come to a place where we should not negotiate commandments. When the Lord speaks to you, He has brought salvation and life everlasting, therefore, we need to obey Him. When we obey Him, our natures will change from the wrong ones to His own kind of nature.

These laws are very necessary for those who will access the powers of the Throne. The power of the Throne cannot be committed to somebody who has not been configured by the laws of loving his enemies, otherwise he will misuse the power and wield it with hatred. The power of the Throne is everlasting life and Eternal Life. That is why God has to rid us of all our wrong natures before He can commit life to us. We are accessing zones of endless power and authority, therefore, God has to make us meek.

It is a meek man that will love those who hate him. Hatred has a strength and it is as a result of vengeance. However, the Lord says that we should not avenge ourselves but leave it to Him (Rom. 12:19). This is because we do not have the nature or judgement for vengeance. If we are left to avenge ourselves, we will ruin and kill ourselves in the process because we will do everything wrong. If only we can yield to the Lord— to his word and his leading— he would lead us into perfection.

Everlasting Life, Our Inheritance

One major reason for obedience is to quicken us because of the inheritance. We cannot come into the inheritance without obeying the laws of the inheritance. That inheritance is everlasting life. The inheritance is reserved in heaven but we bring down its substances by obeying its commandments. The inheritance is contained in what is being spoken by God because the word He speaks to us are Spirit and Life (John 6:63).

"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." (John 5:30). Jesus epitomized the greatest meekness. Although He had power, He never showed Himself forth as one who could do anything independently from of God. It takes a powerful man to be meek. This power is fetched from understanding, knowledge, teachings and leadings. Instructions are not signs of hatred from God. Rather, He instructs us because He wants us to be configured and to be people to whom He can commit authority.

"Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots." (Luke 23:34). The scripture above symbolizes great strength that came from the download of judgements that Jesus had used overtime and had become His natural response over a period of time. The only way He was able to get this nature was because He was taught by His Father. When we harbour hatred, we harbour death. We cannot keep life and death in the same vessel. We must make efforts to go against these vices. The conversation of hatred is backed by an evil power.

A childlike attitude is required between couples to maintain a strong marriage. Husbands and wives should be quick to forgive and let go of malice (1 Cor. 14:20). They should be able to let go of offences easily so that they will not disobey the laws of life.

A man is not blessed until he receives the things of God. He will first start from learning the things of Christ because that is what he can digest, after being weaned from milk. When Peter received the revelation of who Jesus was, he was called blessed (Matt. 16:17). Revelations usher in blessings and these blessings are for the reconfiguration of souls.

Instructions, the Way to Becoming Fair like the Lord

"Thou art fairer than the children of men: Grace is poured into thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever." (Psa. 45:2). Jesus is fairer than the children of men because He is blessed forever. One of the attributes of his fairness is not repaying evil with evil. A man who repays evil with evil is ugly in the soul, even if it does not appear so physically. Fairness is attained when one’s soul is configured with laws of beauty and mercy.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." (John 5:19). The deeds of the Father were not miracles but the conversations and lifestyles that were shown to the Son by revelation. The Father raises the dead by giving life through judgement (John 5:20). Therefore He gave the Son judgements of everlasting life and Eternal Life. A man cannot stand in these judgements unless he has done Christ properly. Yielding to Christ makes the heart of a man become tender, so that he can become accustomed to the lifestyle of obedience. Such a heart would find it easier to obey in the realm of everlasting life.

"For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: [23] that all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him." (John 5:22-23). Judgements are substances of life. Therefore, life was committed to the Son through judgements. It was this life that quickened Him. The Father taught the Son His manner of life, and the Son obeyed Him to the letter.

Many of these judgments of life may come as faint impressions that can easily be ignored. Therefore, we need divine help to rightly pick such impressions. One has to be sincere in discerning instructions, especially when it puts one at a disadvantage. Not all instructions are palatable to the flesh, but they should be obeyed because they are meant for making the soul fair.

God Instructs Us Out of Death

Jesus is honored when His words are obeyed. But before they can be obeyed, they have to first be heard. The words of Jesus are heard by the revelation and understanding of scriptures. When a man receives light on a particular scripture, the word of Jesus comes to him and makes demands. The response to such demands should be obedience, so that the person can receive everlasting life.

We should not rejoice at the fall of our brethren, nor should we judge them.  The circumstances that led to their fall could make us fall also, if we are exposed to them. The reason many of us are not erring in most things is because grace is being ministered to us. Therefore, we should be humble. Even when we are sure of the availability of grace in a particular area, we are not permitted to boast in ourselves. When we do not judge the brethren, more grace will be ministered to us not to err.

The Father saved Jesus by giving Him His own substances. Jesus obeyed these standards until it became natural to Him. As such, He was formed and framed with the same nature that the Father has. It is these same substances that the Father wants to give to us. However, we have to develop an attitude of obeying His words and instructions. We should not be too strong to believe that we can disobey God's instruction and still arrive at God's intents for us. Disobeying that instruction is a matter of life and death.

Some people do not know what death means, and as a result, they negotiate instructions and commandments. They are not aware that these instructions are meant to save them from death. Once a man understands the purpose of instructions, he will pray diligently for grace to obey them because he knows that going against them is fatal. When God instructs, He instructs out of death. When we begin to see it this way, our disposition to instructions, understanding the word and revelations will change.

The Law of the Inheritance

Instructions come from understanding and revelation. Any instruction that is not borne out of understanding or revelation will not give a man life. This is because it is in the Son that God has kept life (John 5:26). The reason God teaches us to react to situations in a particular way is because of the inheritance. A carnal response to a wrongdoing towards us will cause us to lose the inheritance. This is the Law of the Inheritance.

It does not permit us to react out of vengeance or to shrink from doing good to anyone who hates us. It does not permit us to curse those who curse us. We have to obey these instructions because we have been called to inherit a blessing, which is life. The inheritance has commandments or laws, and these laws are God’s words. As God speaks to a man, the laws or commandments of the inheritance are being given to him to obey.

Additionally, we need to have a heart that fears God. It is when our strength is weakened that we would not boldly flout God's instructions. When a man disobeys God's instructions, it would not be well with the man. Although it is different for a man who makes mistakes in trying to perfect instructions from a willing heart. Such a man should pick himself up and repent. Furthermore, as instructions come and we obey, God will give us more instructions because He is always willing to move us higher.

We need to see the laws of perfection in everlasting life because they are the laws of the blessings we have been called to inherit. In obeying them we break configurations in us that are quick to react negatively or discredit another. The speakings of the Lord do not just break wrong configurations, they also contain substances that will raise you up and cause you to bring forth godly reactions, even subconsciously.

Our Lives Depend on God's Speakings

God wants to alter our natures because everlasting life is the erecting of an image of God. The image of God is given when everlasting commandments or speakings are being given. This is how our Lord Jesus was raised. Our Lord Jesus was always obedient because He was weak, meek and dependent. When a man has an alternative to disobey God but realizes that his life depends on the sayings of God, he will not compromise them.

"But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matt. 4:4). Our lives depend on God's speakings. Man does not have the right to choose which word to obey. Man should obey 'every' word, not just the ones he feels good with. A times, when God’s word can go against our inward formations, it may be painful to align with and obey it. It can even make us feel weak, but we are being altered by it.

There is no alteration of persons without obedience to what God has to say. Jesus demonstrated this by doing everything the Father said. When a man is lacking in obedience to a particular saying, he is lacking in a particular life that should be ministered to him because God's word conveys life. A man that knows this will no longer choose which word to obey.

At times we carve out certain works for ourselves to do, as an offering of service to Him. We could even be passionate about it but God would rather have us be passionate about obeying Him. This is because most of the time, the work we carve out for ourselves to do is to satisfy our own selfish interests and be seen of men. However, it is good for us to know that we do not owe anyone an explanation or testimony.

God is building us for something, therefore, we should not put ourselves under the pressure of doing what others are doing because it might not be God's program or path for you. We should rather be particular about what God is doing to us and with us. We should shun other things going on around us that God has not instructed us to do. It is peer pressure that usually makes us do the things that God has not asked us to. The way we overcome this is by meekness.

"For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens". (Heb. 7:26). The end of understanding all of God's revelation is to configure us to become harmless beings. A man who reacts to his enemy with hatred would be harmful. The scripture above is a way to high heavens because it is a commandment from a higher heaven. Jesus was made higher than the heavens and He is speaking to us from that high heaven where He is now. He is speaking to us the laws that govern that realm. God want us to obey those speakings, so we can be configured to become entities that are higher than the heavens. We would no longer operate by the laws of the earth, which are the laws of low places.

The Advantage of Everlasting Life

The reason why we are locked up in darkness and inabilities is because of lack of understanding. When the Lord wants to command you, He brings an understanding to you that will make you compassionate towards the man whom you consider your enemy and even see him as a victim of the work of satan and his spirits. This will move you to begin to pray for such a person.

People think that when we begin to obey these laws, we will be taken advantage of because you will not fight back. But in the light of everlasting life, nothing counts more than everlasting life because it is “the advantage”. If you lose everything to get everlasting life, it is worth it. When you have that judgment, it will help you value everlasting life much more.

When you see the importance of everlasting life, when you see the importance of a stature that can approach God and sit in the throne, you can tell that nothing can be compared to it. The epistles even admonish us to allow ourselves to be cheated instead of cheating or going to fight in court. We are told to allow yourself to be cheated and see what He can do. This life (everlasting life) that you have judged more precious than gold and silver is what you will gain. You will gain the incorruptible in place of the corruptible, as you trade the corruptible for the incorruptible.

God will train us to appreciate the incorruptible because if we love the corruptible, we will be ready to fight to die for it. The incorruptible is the kingdom of God that we must sell all to get. We need understanding and paintings of that life. We also need to understand that even if we are cheated in the natural, it does not make us lose out on the invisible. Having the invisible gives us an edge.

We have been keeping the commandment of loving our brethren in times past but now, God wants us to love our enemies like He loves His own enemies. He makes his rain to fall on the just and the unjust (Matt. 5:45).  God is raising standards before us and we must be able to engage them as there is grace to do so.  It is possible to be perfect as God is perfect. He is showing us the path to perfection.
