Text: John 3:16-18
Tongues and Interpretation (1)
Blessed are your ears; blessed are your eyes in the days when the original intent, the original mind, the original thought, the original stand of Scriptures are being spoken in your midst. Scriptures! Scriptures, precious scriptures shrouded in darkness, shrouded in religion, shrouded in carnality are being uncovered. Blessed are your ears when you begin to receive access to the original intent. For you are in the season, says the Spirit of God, where scriptures such as this will begin to bear their true meaning, will bear their original meaning in the hearts of God's people. And they will see it for what it truly was, for what it truly is and for what it truly represents in the annals of eternity. For you see, these Scriptures are Eternal; they flow from an Eternal realm. And the full understanding of Scriptures such as this also lies in the realm of Eternal. And as you approach this realm, even through the doorways of everlasting life, even through the instrumentality of everlasting life, you will begin to see them for what they truly mean. And in understanding, you will unlock the true power that is aback these scriptures; then you will understand My love. The love that I have packaged, even that the holy Scriptures poured out for man, that man may find his way back to Me. Welcome to the realm of original thoughts, that which was from the beginning. Says the Spirit of God.

John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God"
Anyone who received an opportunity to believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God, and does not, is condemned already. However, he that believes is not condemned. The skill of the Holy Ghost is required to unlock these Scriptures; for things are being hidden in them.
John 1:11-16
“He came unto His own, and His own received him not. [12] But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. [14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. [15] John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before me. [16] And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.”
There is no way you can receive grace except you have been connected to grace. When you receive grace, it is because you need another grace (John 1:16).
John 3:1-3
“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: [2] the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. [3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”
Nicodemus came to Jesus to learn about the kingdom, although he tried to come out differently, praising Jesus and the good works He did. Being a ruler, he was concerned about the overthrow of the present kingdom and did not want to lose out when Jesus did set up His kingdom. According to his understanding of prophecy, the Messiah was born to set up a kingdom. However, Nicodemus felt He was not going about it the right way; He rather went about looking for the downtrodden, the sinners, fishermen, publicans etc. The Pharisees knew that Jesus came from God, so fear gripped Nicodemus knowing that the Pharisees were likely to lose out when Jesus established His Kingdom, and he did not want to lose out. This was why he came to Jesus by night so that in the next dominion, he would be counted among. He did not want to be behind the seventy, but wanted to be close to Jesus, like the twelve. Jesus pointed it out straight to him that he could not bribe his way into the Kingdom of God; he must be born again (John 3:3).
Contrary to how we have believed before, the kingdom of God is not the present heaven. The kingdom of God is God’s dominion kind. The dominion of God is where the glory of the life of God is thick; it is where contaminations are expelled. Before one can see this Kingdom, such must be born again. Yet, John 3:3 did not imply that immediately one gets born again, such would see the Kingdom. One who is born again may not see it; however, his new birth gives him the right to begin to see it.
One may be in heaven and may not see the kingdom. Heavenly places do not give one the ability to see the Kingdom. A lot of people are in heaven but are not in God’s kingdom. To see the Kingdom means to tell the Kingdom; to discern, comprehend and know the Kingdom. The kingdom is a mystery (Matt. 13:11). You cannot see or enter it except the mystery shroud around it is taken away. As such, you can be seeing or hearing the kingdom but may not actually see or hear it (Matt. 13:14). The Kingdom may be before you, but you may not see it.
Seeing or hearing is not defined in this context the way we physically do (Matt. 13:16). It is when the heart understands. Where we see the Kingdom is in the arena of understanding. The Kingdom is placed in a particular understanding module; you must have a kind of heart to understand it. The Kingdom is in a place but if that understanding is not in you, you will not see it. When the Kingdom is before you, and you have begun to see it, you are expected to use that understanding to go into the Kingdom.
Jesus said to Nicodemus, ‘except you are born again you cannot see the Kingdom.’ This tells us that the purpose of the New Birth is more than going to heaven. The New Birth was designed to raise men to think in the pattern of the Kingdom. And if you do not have the design of the Kingdom thinking, you will not enter the Kingdom. As such, you must have the mind as sight is being ministered to you, then, you can comprehend the Kingdom.
What comes to mind when we mention kingdom, dominion or power, is a system on Earth; an earthly kind of dominion. This is the Gentiles’ definition of dominion, but it was formulated and given to the Gentiles by the adversary. Satan gave this definition as a gift to mankind to keep him away from the true definition of dominion that God has placed and blessed us with. He does not want man to have the Godkind of dominion.
Jesus brought up the Kingdom discussion with Nicodemus, stating that the Kingdom is first seen before it is entered into.
John 3:5
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God"
You have to see the Kingdom first before you can know how to enter into it. Those who can enter the kingdom must first be born again. When you are born again, then you would go further to be prepared for seeing the kingdom. However, this message is not what the church focuses on today; most people are rather after other things. This therefore shows that man has evolved into a being that does not have the appetite for the Kingdom. Satan has arranged us to not be seekers of the Kingdom, but rather to seek something else. Generally, human beings are not accustomed to seeking the kingdom of God but something else. Matthew 6:33 reads, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” This tells us that there is something man ought to seek.
Matthew 6:25
"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?"
Many men in the word today would define a powerful man of God as one who can perform signs and wonders; and a powerless man as one who will ask them to first seek the kingdom. Many do not like the latter kind of men of God because they believe they are not powerful enough to meet their physical needs. Ministers of the gospel are happier when men prosper physically than when one soul enters the Kingdom. This shows us that the entrance into the Kingdom does not mean anything to men, including ministers of the gospel. Men have limited the kingdom/dominion mandate God gave man to earthly accomplishments only.
Matthew 6:22
"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light."
Naturally, men see with their eyes, but no man physically has a single eye. Therefore, “eye” in this Scripture does not refer to the physical eye. ‘Single eye’ refers to the body of the man that is expecting a single eye. This means that the entity Jesus is referring to is more advanced than the outward man. This entity may have a single eye, and can also have a scattered eye. Thus, if the eye of the inward man is single (i.e. focused), his entire inward man shall be full of light.
The opposite of a single eye is an evil eye (Matt. 6:23). Single eye seeks singular things while an evil eye seeks multiple things. Evil eye therefore means many eyes; an eye whose concentration has been broken into seeking many things.
Matthew 6:23-24
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! [24] No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon;
This darkness does not apply to the physical body but to the body of the evil eye. Worship or service is based on how we see. Your seeing is your discerning; that is, your conviction about life. You see first, then light falls on your body. When you see, you have comprehension. When comprehension has taken over your body, it means you are completely taken over by that which you see. Thus, what a man seeks after can be told from his involvement in either light or darkness. This also tells whether the man is a servant of light or darkness.
Both God and Satan make projections, to enroll servants. The church is yet to overcome the eye of the service of darkness; that is, the evil eye. The evil eye is the power of darkness. Darkness is a life that is opposite God’s definition of life. No one can have two masters because no one can have both single and evil eyes at the same time (Matt. 6:24). The single eye does not strive with man. When it sees that a man is given to the evil eye, it departs. When you invite darkness, light departs, and vice versa. This is why you cannot serve two masters; you serve one and leave the other.
Satan created the evil eye; a life he put together and shows/projects to man. This life becomes an eye when the soul takes hold of it. Hence, we are instructed not to take thoughts. Thoughts make one see differently in the spirit.
Matthew 6:25
"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
When you begin to take thoughts for your life, service to Mammon begins. Mammon is more than money; it is the recruiter of the servants of Satan. He is the one behind the projection of Satan's worship. Mammon is a preacher of Satan. He is the life illuminator of darkness. No one can serve God and Mammon.
In the beginning, everything in the universe had the same thought pattern; they never took thoughts for the future. Man never bothered about what to eat, drink, etc. A man who lived like this was Jesus. While He was on earth, He never thought about His next meal. However, man now thinks of his future, as much as forty years to come. A man who engages thoughts in this manner has engaged in a service. Thought-taking is the operation of a dominion. The one who projects that thought-taking is a god; he is also a master. This is why the church at large has not yet defeated him. Rather we even pray to have what he projects, that is, carnal substances.
Future as defined by the carnal man is usually based on money, good housing and other carnal substances. However, many who have even attained these things are still not satisfied. Even some ministers of the gospel revere having physical possessions and covet travelling abroad for ministry. However, anything that emanates from the thoughts that Mammon projects is not a true future. The evil eye seeks many things; but the single eye seeks one thing - the Kingdom and its righteousness (Matt. 6:33).
Tongues and Interpretation (3)
“Bring you help. Bring you help from the throne on high; for you to be delivered from that which the enemy calls life. I bring you help to stop the quest of vanity, even the pursuit of that which will amount to nothing. I bring you help for you to see the future, even the real future, even the hope and the future that I have for you. I bring you help for to stop the journey of uncertainty, I bring you help to stop the quest of perishing. I bring you help to stop you in your tracks. That journey, even that path that seemeth right unto a man, is one which leads to destruction. For there is nothing in vanity. Therefore, I bring you help. I bring you help by the opening of your eyes; for you to see that which amounts to something. For it is the man that looks up that will amount to something. For you see, the journey to vanity is a journey downward; it is a downward journey. An evil eye will make you go down. I am giving you eyes and correcting hearts this morning; for you to see that which is the future. I am your future. Seek after righteousness. Seek after My Kingdom. Seek that which will end you in life. Seek after Me. Saith the Spirit of God.”
(Message continues...)
Jesus’ audience in Matthew 6:33 would not have been able to obey this instruction afterwards if they were not delivered from wrong seeking. Satan is called the god of this world; so he always wants your allegiance, and your all. Satan wants your allegiance for a purpose – to steal from you. He has successfully done this over time. You cannot even break through the system he has fixed over time; it is a power. A man in this system cannot even help himself from seeking this life.
Unbelief is the distrust in God's offer of life, but a belief in something else. Belief is the giving or commitment of oneself to something, that even if it is not working at the moment, you believe it will work later. Man does not believe that if they commit to God, God will provide all they want. Men are so ambitious that they want to have so much wealth.
Some men believe that if they serve God, God will not give them as much wealth as they desire. They do not want the measure of wealth that meets just their needs. Some men believe that fulfilment in life comes when they have abundance of money and have met their target at a specified age. However, abundance of wealth does not satisfy man; it is but an endless chase.
Satan has plans. There are those whom he has chosen to win in this world. As such, it is not all who are chasing after worldly goods that will attain what they seek or succeed. And many who are successful in the world today are not the best either; but many do not understand that those who are successful have been anointed by Satan to be successful. The race to attain in this world is not to the swift; time and chance happeneth to them (Eccl. 9:11). The gods of this world choose and anoint those whom they want to be successful in this world. Evil spirits do not need the best (in terms of effort) of a man to make him successful; they choose whoever will submit to them and allow them access, and they make such successful. Some have even discovered this secret and then joined cults to become successful; but this also comes at a cost.
The kingdom of Satan is not a free kingdom. You cannot be in the kingdom of Satan and enjoy the things of God. Therefore, the Lord instructs us that seeking the kingdom and its righteousness will avail to us what other men chase after (Matt. 6:33). Someone may say, he has been seeking and yet, is not getting the things Jesus referred to as, ‘all these things’. Such a one is not a true seeker of the kingdom. Anyone who truly seeks the kingdom is patient, and does not have his heart on the things of the earth. There is what is called the patience of the kingdom. In fact, it is when you have lost interest completely in unrighteous mammon that heaven knows you are ready for it; and it is then They can give it to you.
One ancient seeker of the kingdom said about 500 years ago, “the way things can follow you is to shun them.” If things and money can develop wings to fly away, it also means they can hear and follow a man. Money can follow a man; all he needs to do is to not put his attention on them to seek them.
What has kept men chasing after the world is a power. No one can change his sight by himself or take away his darkness by his strength; he has to be delivered by something/someone else. Recall the third law of motion which states, “a body will continue to be in a state of rest or motion, unless acted upon by a force.” In the same way, a man needs an external force higher than him to overcome and be delivered from the thought of chasing carnal things.
There are so many people who seek the life which the world offers, which is actually a fake, vain, weak and useless life. Hence, the Lord Jesus called Paul; “Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” (Acts 26:17-18). The people had a problem, so also the Gentiles. The people are the Israelites, who think they worship God because they go to Jerusalem; but they do not worship God really, because their thoughts are on other things.
Worship is not the gathering of a group of people, but the movement of the soul after God’s pattern. Therefore, God appointed Paul to turn the eyes of those people from plural eyes to singular; from the darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. This means that by reason of their eyes not being single, their whole body had come into darkness which is a power of satan. Thus, there is a power in Mammon that is operative in anyone who serves it. This power cannot be stopped by just anyone.
Service/worship is inward. A person may just be standing and worship has transpired, by reason of the movement of his thoughts towards God. When a man thinks the kingdom way, he is enrolled as a worshipper of God. The reason for dominion is to enroll worshippers; and the Father seeks such men. There is no dominion without worship.
Worship means committing and offering the ownership of your life to someone. The true order of worship is in spirit and truth (John 4:24). You cannot make anyone worship God until he is delivered. No one is free from the worship of spirits; spirits canvass every day to make people worship them. They get men so engaged so they do not have any space for the kingdom. The way we know whom we worship is by checking our thoughts.
This warfare of Satan against man is very strategic; the goal is to receive worship of man. Kingdom warfare requires a high spiritual strategy. Demons attack us so that we can shift attention and focus. Recall what Jesus told His disciples when they were excited because they casted out demons in His name (Luke 10:17-20). He said, “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10:20). What He meant was that the time you should be rejoicing is when you are able to steer your thoughts upwards to God. Satan can do anything to catch the attention of anyone. It is not easy to focus on God. Satan wants to make it difficult for us to focus.
We do not have to ask God for our needs out of fear and anxiety, He knows we need those things and will freely give them to us. Jesus said, “Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” (Matt. 6:30). We never see the birds worried over what to eat; rather they are always excited and sing. It was not part of the configuration of birds (including the rest of creation) to be worried; it was Satan who attacked man and changed his thought pattern. While Adam was in Eden, he was never bothered over what he would eat, because God cares. Jesus said, “…for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.” (Matt. 6:32).
We cannot worship God or enter into His kingdom, without first being delivered from the kingdom of Satan. You cannot use the sight of the kingdom of darkness to operate in the kingdom of God; no one can serve two masters. Thus, you must change how you see. Hence the need for the new birth. The new birth experience qualifies one to see the kingdom (John 3:3). Nevertheless, this does not mean that anyone who is born again is free from the pattern of seeing which he previously had, while in the kingdom of darkness. Hence, there is a need to first convince the believer to give up his old manner of seeing, before the sight of the kingdom can be granted him.
We are instructed, “…Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” (Matt. 6:25). Taking thought is an inheritance that cannot be easily relinquished, because the soul has taken it. God never forcefully takes it from the soul; the soul has to give it up for another sight. Thus, when the Lord is turning a man to see the kingdom, He is telling such a one to substitute how he sees with the new way of seeing, which God is offering. God’s manner of seeing is different from ours (Isa. 55:8-9).
One who has a plural eye (i.e. an evil eye), is one who thinks of what to eat and what to put on. That is a sight that is after the service of Mammon. An unbeliever cannot be stopped from taking thoughts in this manner; even believers who are babes fight to turn to begin to see after the manner of God’s kingdom. This is because sight is priceless; sight is life. By the time you take sight, you have to do what you are seeing. When you begin to do what you see, washing takes place, and you are beginning to enter the kingdom. Water and Spirit are needed for entrance into the kingdom (John 3:5). When washing has taken place fully, the saint is then born into an estate where he is qualified to receive dominion, that is, enter the kingdom. Having understood the purpose of John 3:3&5, it is at this point we can now understand the purpose of John 3:16.
God is merciful and kind; He never gives up on what He has placed value on. God has vowed to redeem man’s soul from perishing. We need to be delivered from the kingdom of darkness, also known as the power of darkness (Col. 1:13). This power of darkness expires us; meaning that, to live the life that Satan has instituted, comes with a price to be paid. Men who live that life do not know that it is harmful. This life degenerates the man and corrupts him gradually; the man becomes weaker, he is being broken down, and his materials are no longer firm. The dominion of darkness was designed to weaken man completely and to take his precious soul. Man was initially a living soul, until he engaged the dominion of darkness, which brought about corruption in his soul. He becomes weaker and perishes by the day, until he is no longer man. Man has been reduced to an animal and as such, he cannot obey the laws of God.
Many marriages are failing today because man has greatly degenerated, and can no longer obey the laws of God. It is wrong for a woman to be abused or subdued; but a woman who fears the Lord would not struggle with submitting to her husband. A woman who is unable to submit is expressing the degeneration that has taken place in her. Also a man who is unable to love his wife is also expressing the corruption that is in him. A woman who finds it difficult to obey some laws of submission to her husband has it so because there are still elements of corruption in her; and she yet lacks the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is an ornament that is not corruptible (1 Pet. 3:4; Prov. 31:30).
In previous times, there were more submissive women in the church than we have today. This is because corruption has hit the earth more today, than it did then. The dominion of Satan was not as active then as it is today. One way Satan spread his dominion was through education. Education enlightened man to rights which became instruments of bringing corruption upon the earth. Some of the things we refer to as rights are actually death. Every woman is a potential mother. Anyone who decides to maltreat a woman disregards the woman who gave birth to him. Submission is the power of the woman. A woman who tries to fight to exact authority over the man is only doing herself harm. God designed the woman to be gentle, and that gentle nature is her power. Jesus demonstrates this humility too in his relationship with God. If a woman is not humble, her home may not be preserved.
Corruption has sold an idea to man, that a man ought to love himself more and focus on himself more than others. A man who flirts is expressing the effect of corruption that has overtaken his soul. A man should be willing to suffer for his home, for the sake of preserving it. Man today can no longer suffer long because man is depreciating. Christ died for us when we were without strength (Rom. 5:6). Being without strength means that the inner core of our being has depleted. Jesus did not come during the time of Adam; corruption had not yet gone deep at that time, even though man had died. He did not also come during the time of Moses and the prophets; but at a time when man had no strength left in him. If Jesus came at this time, then John 3:16 becomes very relevant.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Jesus came at a time when every man had become worldly; there was nobody outside darkness. God had to love the world to save those who were in it. God gave His only begotten Son to the world. What God gave to the world as a gift is the resurrected Lord, the begotten Son, not Jesus of Nazareth. God gave the world the best of Jesus so that man should not perish. God was unwilling to throw man away even though he was very close to his expiry date. It was at this point that Jesus showed up to stop man from perishing.
‘Perishing’ is a process that precedes the lake of fire. Only things that have perished are fit for the lake; because by perishing, they have become irrecoverable. God offered man life as against decay. The answer to the disintegration of man is the Son of God. Lake is not where men perish; rather, it is where perished souls that are irredeemable are sent. The offering of redemption is to give it life. It is the healer of corruption.
Jesus is the one who can restore the damage that decadence has inflicted on souls. Jesus’ introduction of life to you gradually brings the soul to a more appreciable state, even beyond its original state. Believing on Jesus is the solution to the problem of decadence. Believing on Jesus means believing in His ability to restore your soul; it means to receive Him. Unto such souls that believe Him is power given to become sons of God (John 1:12). The sons of God are men who have power to resist decay; they are the answer to decadence.
A son of God is not one who can work miracles; in fact, a miracle worker may do a corrupt work in the spirit. Sons of God are men whose bodies have been constructed against decay, there is nothing that can be done to break them down; they are the answer to decadence. God is currently raising men to a realm of everlasting life. We should desire to be made everlasting more than we desire any other thing, including ministry. Ministers should desire to solve the problem of corruption more than anything else (Romans 8:6).
As many as received Him, He gave power to become sons of God. The stature of a son of God is a state that corruption cannot access; sin cannot break sons of God. When Elijah was pursued by Jezebel, he ran for his life; but Jesus ran to the cross, because He was confronting death. What God wants to produce are men who will arrive at an unbreakable state. We are to be built up as an edifice that Satan cannot decompose.
The gift of God is anything that supersedes what Satan does. When Satan sees any edifice that is being built by God, he begins to look out for ways to pull it down. Men are houses, edifices; what Satan wants is that no man should be standing erect, worshipping God. He attempts to bring down any he sees coming up in that manner. Satan is very committed to this cause of bringing down men who are edifices of God; hence, he runs to and fro the whole earth.
In the days of Jesus, He was a man standing against all odds and attempts of Satan to pull Him down. Instead of being pulled down by Satan, Jesus was an unusual man who was, by Himself, going to lay down His life and raise it up again (John 2:19). He made a decision to fall, so that He could rise and many would rise with Him. Satan must have been astonished to see a man who chose to fall, not by Satan but by Himself (John 10:17). This is so that He can multiply, just as a wheat abideth alone except it falls to the ground and dies (John 12:24). This life is the indestructible life that the destroyer cannot pull down.
Jesus is our gift. To take only healing or money from Jesus is to use Him to acquire vanity. Such a one has a low sense of what the gift of God is, that was given us. Many men are underutilizing Jesus for mundane things. The Samaritan woman by the well did not know the gift of God with whom she met (John 4:10-14). In Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, are two major forms of life; although within Him are several forms of life which are antidotes to deaths of various degrees.
One of these two major lives is everlasting life, which is a place of rest. A man with a perfect everlasting life is kept and unreachable by any evil spirit. Such a man is an overcomer; he abides forever, he has no more need for improvements. This purpose of having everlasting life is to announce to all and sundry that the man has reached a point where he has willingly decided to remain in God. When a man has gotten to the state of everlasting life, he has come to a place of rest because he has overcome the devil.
Satan kept tempting Job and bringing progress reports to God. When Job dealt with him completely, we never heard of him again. Someone like John got to the end of everlasting life, yet God did not rush to bring him into the realm of eternal life. Everlasting life is a high life; a life one that one must cooperate with God in obedience to attain. Eternal life comes without any deed done. Eternal life is the reward for everlasting life; a reward for those who have obeyed God to the uttermost.
The sign/character of everlasting life is that you must be dead and remain dead for three days. Jesus was dead for three days before He was raised into eternal life. Being dead is a state of inactivity; one can also refer to it as sabbath. Jesus, by allowing Himself to die, entered into a place called Sabbath- a realm of inactivity where He waited to be raised. The purpose of everlasting life is to get us to that same place of Sabbath. We may not die just like Jesus died, because He died for the iniquity of the whole world; but we all must follow that pattern and arrive at that place where we are inactive, lifeless and helpless. This is synonymous to the state of a baby who is about to be born.
A full everlasting man is completely helpless; his help comes from above and he waits for that help. A man without enough life will not be able to demonstrate this kind of wait. We need enough life to demonstrate such motionlessness and inactivity. When we attain this state of full obedience unto God, eternal life will come and take us over from that point.
