“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Rom. 8:1-2). Christ is the light of God that raises the new man, while sin and death is an opposing light from the realm of fallen angels that stands against the light of Christ. Those who have used the light of Christ are made free from the light that is flesh.

Flesh does not only refer to our physical body, for there is both the negative and positive side of flesh. The soul that has received the incorruptible seed has become a heart of flesh (Ezek. 36:26). The essence of the workings of Christ is to make a soul spiritual – to raise the heart of flesh in a soul.

The word of Christ comes in as a seed – a life/faith seed. A soul that has been fully worked on by this seed possesses the heart of flesh. Therefore, the law of the spirit of life is also the law of flesh (Christ). The fig tree is a type of faith tree. When God puts a seed in a soul, He wants a stature to be raised.

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (1 Pet. 1:23). The incorruptible seed is different from the seed of faith (Christ). Those who have finished the course of Christ are meant to receive another seed – the incorruptible seed. This incorruptible seed has two parts: the living (flesh) and abiding (blood).

“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming…” (2 Thess. 2:8). The spirit of God's mouth destroys the negative flesh of the corruptible seed at the height of Satan's fatherhood (John 8:44). Satan is a father, which means he has a seed (of destruction) that is of the negative living and abiding order.

“And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (Gen. 6:3). The everlasting spirit of God strove with men and lost them. God then had to raise His dealing in that generation through Noah by condemning that generation.

“Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.” (1 Pet. 1:2). The spirit of life sanctified this church and further moved them unto obedience, which is the sprinkling of blood of Jesus Christ – the everlasting blood of the everlasting covenant.

“Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared…” (Heb. 5:7). By reason of the teachings coming in recent seasons, we are entering into the days of our flesh. The days of our flesh do not refer to our natural age because days are numbered by doctrine. A man can be alive in the natural and not get to the days of his flesh. “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” (Ps. 90:12). Days are numbered by doctrine. Jesus was a Son but needed to learn obedience through the flesh of the incorruptible seed (Heb. 5:8).

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil…” (Heb. 2:14). The essence of the doctrine of Christ is to birth us as children that can learn everlasting life (flesh and blood). We are at the junction as a generation where we are to eat Jesus' flesh. We have eaten Jesus' flesh through the spirit of life in Christ, but the Lord is calling us to a greater table wherein all that we will be doing is eating flesh and blood.

The feast of flesh and blood is the feast of destroying the covering cast spread over the nations (Is. 25:7). This means that hell and death expires when the Lord gives utterance for the speakings of flesh and blood. Melchizedek came to Abraham bringing flesh and blood – bread and wine (Gen. 14:18). Today's meeting is a celebration of flesh and blood.

“Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.” (John 6:68). When the doctrine of flesh and blood is being preached, men get offended and leave. Jesus also got to this junction in His ministry. Some men left Jesus at this point because they had not completed the full course of the previous allocation. At the times of this declaration, evil spirits bring confusion, but we should be like the Apostles that stood their ground in following Jesus.
