Topic: Possessing an Incense for Everlasting Life Senses

Ministering: Reverend Kayode Oyegoke

Revelation 1:5

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood…”

Tongues and Interpretation (1)

“I am bringing gifts of My everlasting thoughts and breath of My thoughts upon you. I am mercifully belching My thoughts over you. For everlasting rays, rays of glory invading your mind, to put and communicate things of glory, even the essence of things everlasting as gifts. Everlasting gifts are being given; I am giving everlasting thoughts, even gifts of glory.”

 Tongues and Interpretation (2)

“Mercy! I have mercy upon you. Mercy and judgment are being given. There is allowance and permission for mercy. Mercy is being shed forth upon you to think these things and to share them to people with different types of senses and minds so that those senses might be upgraded to everlasting senses.”

Message begins

Many years ago at one of our Believers’ Conventions, I found myself speaking in tongues; it was a tongue of a kind. Pastor Emeka Egwuchukwu was to interpret but then started speaking the same tongue as I spoke. The tongue was then interpreted by Pastor Ernest and it was about sense – incense. For a long time, I had been trying to find what these tongues mean, then later on I had a visitation in which I kept hearing “thunder, stay under”.

After this, the Holy Spirit overcame me and I began to speak Reverend Kenneth E. Hagin's tongue of the 1988 Camp Meeting when he had the visitation of the Archangel Michael. I knew by the Spirit that it was a visitation from the Archangel Michael, not just the Holy Spirit and that the tongue was not Reverend Kenneth E. Hagin’s tongue but the Archangel Michael’s. It was then registered in my heart by the Spirit that we are under the season of the interpretation of that tongue.

That tongue was a declaration concerning the future that a time will come when we will come into another sense and our senses will no longer be natural or just the sense with which we preach. We are going to come into another sense which will be out of an incense. A high priest should approach God with a different sense because he offers an incense taken through the censer into the Most Holy Place.

In the New Testament, the incense is our sensing - how we think and it is the way into the Holiest of All. This sensing paves a way into the Most Holy Place. We develop a sense into the Most Holy Place by the blood of the Lamb. The High Priest handles both blood and incense because they are both needed to access the Most Holy Place. The blood opens the door, but we also need to locate the way. We therefore must not be ignorant of the door the blood is offering.

To offer incense to God is to give what it takes because to approach God requires a high sense in the spirit. High sense does not come from fleshly push from the brain, it is rather a spiritual capacity that has married the mind that one has been able to fountain out and made it rise like a fume. This fume is to draw the incense from the altar of gold. This is the honour of the golden altar which burns incense. This honour is that it is able to ignite with fire those materials, which in turn have the ability to find expression in the Most Holy Place.

We need a thought pattern. A thought is a way in the spirit. When we begin to think, we are locating a path in the spirit. A thought is an answer, a resolve, a conclusion, a breakthrough on how to handle a matter; it is a clue to that which is dark (unknown).

For now, we cannot think highly because the Most Holy Place is an exalted plane and our judgements have to be upgraded accordingly. The Most Holy Place is the realm of the unknown that we cannot gatecrash. Many believers deceive themselves thinking they have found entrance into the Most Holy Place already when they have not even gained access to the Outer Court. The requirements for entrance into the Holy Place are very high, not to talk of the Most Holy Place. The Most Holy Place ends up in the interactions with the activities of incense.

What ends the Most Holy Place is the burning of incense; it is an altar of incense that is not always anointed with blood. Most of the blood of the sacrifices and offerings are poured out on the horns or base of the brazen altar in the Outer Court which is the altar of blood. No one pours blood on the golden altar except on the horns in the Most Holy Place; rather, the blood is sprinkled. This means sprinkling is higher than pouring in the spirit.

Blood should not be poured on the ark of the covenant, rather, it should be sprinkled. This is a higher operation called the “blood of sprinkling” (Heb. 12:24). To sprinkle is to awaken, create an awareness, to discharge a sense. There are two things at work here – the incense and the blood. The blood creates the way into the Most Holy Place.

The soul smells spiritual things, for the things of the spirit have different aroma. For instance, everlasting life smells differently from Christ. The perfume or aroma of the messages of every season has its unique scent. What makes an impression of a season last to the soul is the smell. Knowledge has a scent in the spirit and if knowledge smells, both blood and incense are instruments of knowing, to push us to know.

“All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.” (Ps. 45:8). The smell of these spices is to convey gladness, so, we can sense knowledge as God will press on our hearts the perfume of knowledge. A priest with an incense is a priest with a sense. In the Old Testament, incense was used to bring down the presence of God, not to drive out evil spirits.

We need a developed sense. When something is referred to as “nonsense”, it means such a thing has no sense. This is why before we can get the sense of God, we must first be Christ because the sense of God is no sense to a natural man. This means God hid His understanding in “no sense” (to a natural man), but you need a sense (Christ) to understand it. The reason we have to learn to Christ is to be able to adapt to the sensing of everlasting life when it arrives. When unlearned Christians hear the teaching of everlasting life, it is nonsense to them but to learned Christians, it makes all sense.

To enter into the Most Holy Place, we need the life that can enter in there. We need enough life to enter into the Most Holy Place.

“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, [20] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh…” (Heb. 10:19-20). Perfection is focused on entrance. We do not enter into the Most Holy Place by the blood of Christ but by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Christ is a dimension of the blood of Jesus that terminates in the Holy Place.

Two things are needed for entrance into the Most Holy Place: the Blood of Jesus and a New and Living Way. Jesus consecrated a way into the Most Holy Place, therefore, without access to this way, there is no entrance into the Most Holy Place. This way pierces through the veil which is His flesh. The flesh spoken of in the scripture is the strong meat of the word, which is needed to enter into the Most Holy Place.

The names of the churches in our midst are not ordinary; they are expressions of the demand of the work hanging upon those churches. These names are our faces, which is why God is taking time to perfect and raise the Pastors over these churches who are going to function as ‘angels’ in these churches. Such Pastors must grow into the capacity of angels (Rev. 1:20) until they become morning stars. God’s intention for these Pastors is to raise them into the capacity of the Pastors in the book of Revelation.

All of these activities in Hebrews 10:19-20 are one; they are meant to upgrade the way we think. This new and living way is an everlasting life; it is an everlasting sense.

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; [19] But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot…” (1 Pet. 1:18-19). If there is blood, there will also be a need for meat too because blood alone is not enough. The blood being spoken of here is the blood of the meat of the Word which is Christ.

“And did all eat the same spiritual meat; [4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. [5] But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.” (1 Cor. 10:3-5). If the rock, drink and meat were all spiritual, then it means they all are Christ. The Blood of the Rock or the Blood of Christ is to make man spiritual and the essence of making man spiritual is to make him perfect.

“Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: [7] But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory…” (1 Cor. 2:6-7). To be perfect is to be spiritual. Paul could not speak the wisdom that only the perfect can participate in to the Corinthian church because they were not yet perfect.

The wisdom of the princes of this world is higher than the wisdom of the world. Purging of the wisdom of this world takes place when one learns Christ, but to be purged from the wisdom of the princes of this world is higher. Princes of this world are the rulers of the worlds meant to trap men. Even after one has been delivered from the world, there is still a need to be delivered from these princes.

1 Corinthians 2:8

“Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”

You must fight to understand these things; labour to understand because it is a matter of life. Wisdom is life; it is a hidden life. The life of God is shrouded and hidden by God in wisdom. Eternal Life is a very high wisdom.

God gave Paul a kind of wisdom (2 Pet. 3:15) and this wisdom is life. God blessing Paul with wisdom was God blessing him life. In the same way, God is giving us life and we should ensure we do not throw this life away. What we are hearing is coming from the throne.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” (1 Cor. 2:9). One cannot love God unless one has become a son of God in the Holy Place, for it takes the sanctified to love God. This means that these things are tied to the love of God. One cannot love God as an immature Christian because such a person is still worldly, and the world hates Christ, not to talk of God. As such, you will first be given the cleansing reagents (Christ) to take the world out of you.

“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. [11] For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. [12] Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” (1 Cor. 2:10-12). “Us” here does not refer to the entire body of Christ but to the apostles. The Spirit of God here is the spirit in charge of God’s things.

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Rom. 8:32).All things” referred to here are the things of God and these things cannot be given without the Son. The first identity of Jesus is Christ and if you reject Him, He will not reveal Himself to you as the Son of God. Christ here is the revelation of His hatred for the world. Christ hates the world and the world hates Christ. As such, you must first be separate from the world to see the Son.

“Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Cor. 2:13-14). The spiritual is Christ, but spiritual things are higher than the spiritual which will end up raising you beyond being spiritual but divine. The natural man is even found in the church; he is a man of nature. However, this natural man is limited, and his judgement is the cause of most of our problems. The natural man is a man that is at home with his environment and it is not easy for Christ to win such man back because of his senses. As you follow Christ, Christians who are still natural will not see sense in your life anymore.

Matthew 19:21

"Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me."

The rich young ruler had the heart for everlasting life, but this demand the Lord required of him did not make sense to him. To be foolish is to be Christ because the foolishness of God is wiser than men (1 Cor. 1:25). The young ruler was shown what he had to do to be loved by God, but he left sorrowfully because he had great possessions. If he had had great insight and knew who was standing before him, he would have sold all his possessions and followed Him. This means he could not see afar off. Jesus knew the rich young ruler could not follow him, so He closed the gate by opening the gate.

To spiritually discern is to exercise your senses to identify both good and evil (Heb. 5:14). We are full of manifestations because of the testimony. The power of the word however is not in gifts and manifestations but in the power to establish souls. One easy way to know a false prophet is that they are unable to teach the word; they can only perform miracles. This is because evil spirits can mimic miracles but can never mimic the word.

“But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. [16] For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Cor. 2:15-16). This mind of Christ is a high mind; it is a mind that can go into the Holiest of All. It is actually the helmet of salvation that should be put on. This is Christ that is going to be saved. This means it would take a spiritual mind to get instructed of the Lord because the Lord cannot instruct a natural mind. He that can receive instructions of the Lord is he that has the mind of Christ and this instruction is judgement. The mind of Christ is gotten through the blood of Christ and the meat of the word.

The blood being used as an equivalent meat. There is a particular meat the priests eat before the veil. One of such meat is the goat of sin offering which the priest must finish in the Holy Place, for it should not remain. This is why Moses had to intercede for the sons of Aaron when they disobeyed this instruction (Lev. 10:16-20). No one can pass through the veil anyhow; we must eat the veil first. (Heb. 10:20). When we eat, we pass through the veil.

“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God”. (Heb. 6:1). Perfection is consecration; it is to be made a high priest.

Hebrews 6:20

“Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.”

“For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: [2] Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.” (Heb. 5:1-2). The ignorant here are not those who are ignorant of the way. Infirmity consists of being ignorant and being out of the way. If a priest in the Holy Place can be out of the way, how much more an unbeliever? What the High Priest, Jesus Christ, mediates is to remove the ignorance and purge it with the blood and then offer an incense.

There are two things that the high priest offers: gifts and sacrifices. Gift is an incense while sacrifice is the blood. Gifts solve the problem of the way while sacrifices cleanse the sins and remove the ignorance. The High Priest needs to fortify you, pray for you and mediate for you until you possess enough sense. Then, when you are raised with the stature of a high priest, you become high in sense – to possess the incense for entrance.

A high priest who possesses incense has a high sense; the thought of the way has been engrained inside of him, as such, he can locate the way into the Most Holy Place. This high priest possesses the blood and the incense. The blood opens the door while the incense moves the way/thought. We must be cautious of that way until we approach the ark. It is called the new and a living way and this implies that the way is alive. That way is our profession and our confession.

As a priest, you have the profession of perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2 Cor. 7:1). This new and living way is a consecration, not just sanctification. It is more consecrated than being sanctified and we move into this life to approach the living God. The way of God is engrained in Jesus; He knew the way to Most Holy Place and He followed that life.

Jesus’ outward ministry of healing the sick and raising the dead was not the expression of the life of the Most Holy Place. The way Jesus lived was to seal His testimony. If you must walk with God, you must hear the blood of the sprinkling speaking, teaching and showing you how Jesus lived. This is the only consecration and lifestyle that God will accept. Everlasting life is the most holy life and Jesus lived it for the last three and half years of His life on earth. The three and a half years referenced in the book of Revelations is the fulness of everlasting (Rev. 11:3; Rev. 12:6); it is how iniquity will be taken out.

Three and a half years refers to everlasting life. Abraham made a sacrifice and a being passed through the sacrifice (Gen. 15:17). It means that stature is an altar – it is fire and it is smoke. Blood, pillar of fire and smoke are terms of the tabernacle. Smoke is a sign of the incense; it filled the house when the Seraph cried because of the incense (Is. 6:4). This means they are sons of incense who offer an acceptable sacrifice unto God but because of their cadre in the angelic, they are not permitted to approach God which is why God had to come in His train to the Holy Place (Is. 6:1).

When an acceptable sacrifice is being offered, it is being done with an incense. This incense in not one in the hand but one that has become a formation of a person. It is incense that makes you think of the way and live on earth with a different sense. Everlasting life is living on earth with a higher sense.

You can never inherit everlasting without these teachings, for you will not find your way into everlasting life on your own. Therefore, if you want to find entrance into everlasting life, you need to be taught.

Proverbs 4:1-4

" Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. [2] For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. [3] For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. [4] He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.”

Your spiritual parents can give you commandments so you can live. These words are not empty words; they are not from man but from the Father. You cannot shove these words asides and expect everlasting life. It is not just about your ability to pray and talk to God about everlasting life, for God will not give it to you directly no matter how hard you try because He has authorized men to give it to you. There is a manner to these things. God handed it to Paul who handed it over and taught others.

Ensure you master these words being spoken because after a while, there is going be a shift and the speed will increase and you may not be able to catch up. Do not think you can comprehend anything without hearing. So, listen to men of God who are sound; let them help and guide you until you have developed enough sense because you can miss it. One who thinks he can pass through these waters alone will miss it. Do not listen to ministers who hate this life; listen to those who hear this word, who will help you and keep you on the path.
