“Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory...” (1 Corin. 2:6-7). In this scripture, Apostle Paul wanted to teach the wisdom of God; but there is a wisdom called Christ that he started with in 1 Corinthians 2:1. The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16). Christ is the wisdom and the power of God (1 Cor. 1:24). This wisdom called Christ is taught to those who ought to be made perfect. Christ is wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption (1 Cor 1:30). Redemption is the forgiveness of sins. There will not be an end to sins if redemption is not attained. To get to redemption, one would need to journey through wisdom, righteousness and sanctification. This is how a man can become spiritual.
A man cannot become spiritual without his sins being forgiven. One can be born again and even possess some positive virtues but still has sins resident inside the soul. Sins are resident in a man who has not yet turned from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18). Sins have two sides to it: sin and death (Rom. 8:2). It means there are "sins that are sin" and there are "sins that are death". This is why forgiveness of sins is about the remission of sins and also the bringing of an end to sins (Acts 26:18, Rom. 6:22-23, Dan. 9:24). Remission of sins has to do with sins being deleted in the soul. As such, the recipient is no longer under the law of sin but has life. The end to sins goes further to remove the sin called “death". This is what brings a complete end to sins in the soul.
Sins have identities in the spirit called ungodliness and worldly lusts (Titus 2:12). Worldly lusts and ungodliness are dimensions of sin and death respectively. However, we will not be able to see worldly lusts and ungodliness in their true light without the light of Christ. Christ is the person to be learnt so that we can have power to deal with sin and death. Anyone who denies Christ denies the light of His life; and such a one would not be able to deny worldly lusts. If we are unable to deny worldly lusts, then we have denied Christ. Many have denied Christ but they are still engaged in church activities.
Sin is worldly lusts while death is known as ungodliness. By attaining the love of the brethren, we can overcome ungodliness (death). We pass from death to life when we love the brethren (1 John 3:14). Without denying ungodliness, we cannot look for everlasting life and Eternal Life (Titus 2:13).
Things that invoke wrong wisdom in the soul are not ordinary things. We cannot untie widom with human strength. Without the light of Christ and the light of God, the whole church is helpless. We can only approach these things with ignorance except we are blessed with wisdom. When help comes, wisdom unto salvation has come.
Spirits weaved the machine called ungodliness; and it is a power that is a release of wisdom to keep man in the race of ungodliness. This is what ties a man's life to offence. A man is offending God because of what he wants to eat on earth. Satan wants men to offend God and break laws just to partake of earthly things. Men have tangented away from God, all in the quest to meet their needs. Many are living in this manner because evil spirits invented a life that is against God and gave it to them. There is a way such men think that negates the knowledge of scriptures. Men are perpetual sinners because of the hold of these spirits upon them.
Worldly lusts are things that can pull one and sap energy from a soul, just to hinder a man from looking for God. Anyone who is not looking for the blessed hope and the appearance of the great God is ungodly (Titus 2:13). We have to learn how to look for God. Looking for God is the message and ministry ordained for every man. The joy of ministers of the gospel should be that they are causing men to look for God.
After a man has disengaged from the life called sins, there is also another higher life called iniquity. Satan used his wisdom to weave these two ways of life so that he can have the power to engage every man on earth. We cannot be saved from the power of Satan without acquiring the wisdom or life called Christ. Acquiring the person of Christ is what can save a man from sins. This is why what is against the law of sin and death is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:2). There is also a life called iniquity that you need to disengage from. This is why God made a provision called everlasting life to escape the life of iniquity. After you have made an end of sins, you also need to make reconciliation for iniquity (Dan. 9:24).
Iniquity is a high hope that Satan is willing to offer a man; it is a high life that Satan is willing to offer any man who would take it. This is why everlasting life is also a high resolve coming from a high thought of God to detonate iniquity. Iniquity is a life force that is generated through a covenant. Satan delivers it so that you can obey it; and when you obey it, you are signing a covenant of iniquity. Iniquity is the best form of life that Satan can offer.
There is no temptation outside the temptation of life. Trial is life. Satan tries people because of life. Joseph was tried to accept another life that looks like a gain, but he refused it (Gen. 39:12). Many who accept the gain of Satan would only enjoy a temporary gain; but they would have been cut short from life. An attitude that will not allow them to yield to everlasting life would have been worked out in them. “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.” (James 1:12). The temptation here is the trial at the boundary of everlasting life. The "crown of life" speaks of everlasting life. When you escape such a temptation to stay in life, you will be given the crown of life.
A man cannot come under God if he is not perfectly free. There is a liberty in Christ; but coming under God will perfectly set you free in the order of everlasting ventures. A man who is free is one who is under God. No other life matters to such a man because he is a man who is under God.
The essence of the mystery of the seven thunders is to resolve iniquity. They are the sayings of the mystery of God, to produce free men under God. When the mystery of God is finished, those who would be under God will be free from any other life. Satan cannot tempt them anymore with any other life; there is nothing he will be able to offer them anymore. The essence of the seven thunders is to knock off iniquity (Rev. 10:3-4). The word “thunder” ends with the word “under”. This signifies men being under God.
Many are afraid of losing their lives. The rich and the poor are all afraid of losing their vanity. The life of iniquity is strong. When people are dying and one is praying for them to be free from it, they still have thoughts and wish for that life. This life called iniquity is such that men can endure to death to have it. However, we should not love our lives unto the death (Rev. 12:11). The seven thunders are to make us hate our lives. We are in the realm of the seven thunders where the mystery of God will be finished.
Being under God positions you for Eternal Life. In the book of Revelation, the seven thunders spoke before Revelation 12. This means that the thunders precede reward. The seven thunders are the working of the Testimony; they are the voices of the Testament meant to help you make covenant with the Testimony. They are the voice of God and the writing of the Testament (Rev. 10:7).
“Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared...” (Heb. 5:7). Saving us from death means saving us from a particular high life that Satan has designed for men. The fear of death here is not sin and death; it is the death of hell (Rev. 20:14). Worldly lusts and ungodliness (sin and death) are dealt with as we journey. Jesus wants the sons of the Sanctuary to be completely free so that they can be under God. This journey continues until sin ends; death is written off and reconciliation is made for iniquity.
It is only a soul that is fully prepared in the Sanctuary that is taken into the Holiest. This is a soul that can endure everlasting life. The High Priest makes intercession for us so that we can break our covenant with iniquity. God will not approve you when you cannot break your covenant with iniquity.
Iniquity is an everlasting strength of darkness. When you war with iniquity, you are warring with spiritual wickedness in high places. You will do this until you get to the highest point where you will deal with the dragon. The dragon is the prince of wickedness. We are to hate the last life called iniquity so that we can overcome the dragon (Rev. 12:11).
