Speaker 4: Reverend Helen Oyegoke

In this season we have to be slow to speak, slow to wrath, and quick to hear (James 1:19). Laws of God are flying around in our atmosphere and we need to be sober because the adversary is around to devour. We have to be little to escape the adversary in this season. If we appear grown-up, we are meat for him. The escape route in this season is to be little.

God has a throne upon which He and the Lamb sit and He wants us to sit on that same throne. Humanly speaking, it is impossible because sitting on the throne means being identical with the One sitting on the throne. The throne does not admit anyone whose nature and stature is contrary to the One on the throne. With man, this is impossible but with God all things are possible (Matt. 19:26). God has promised us this throne. Jesus said, “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne” (Rev. 3:21).

Sitting on the throne is the same thing as entering into God’s eternal kingdom. Sitting on the throne means acquiring the same nature as the One who sits on it. The throne and God are one and you can not sit on the throne if you are not like God.

To sit on the throne, one needs to be beastly. There is also the beast that is raised by Satan: these two beasts are raised by laws. The Lamb is a beast that is seated on the throne and what configured Him to be a lamb are the laws of God. The throne of God is surrounded by beasts who were made by God. Their conversations reveal that they are a good kind of beasts.

Rev 4:6-8

"And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. [7] And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. [8] And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come"

All they (the beasts) do day and night is to worship God, and they were configured for that service. These beasts do not live for themselves. The other evil beast was raised by a beast who perverted the laws on his inside and gave it to a human being. That human will hate everything that is of God (2 Thess. 2:4). We all have beastly laws on our inside; we just need to be put under pressure and we will see it spring up. These are the days when we must kill our beasts. Jesus prevailed over beastly laws.

 Revelation 5:5

"And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."

The light that is coming to us now is to make us prevail and kill those beastly laws on our inside so that we can be made the correct kind of beast. Some wrong laws are resident inside us and just need to be triggered.

A beast is a tearer of laws. We are meant to tear down the negative beastly laws that are inside us. Man was not made the way he presently is. This is why God is raising men who will tear down the beastly laws that are prevalent amongst the men in the society. They will live contrary to the world’s expectations of a man.

A negative beast is fierce (2 Tim. 3:3). Many young people in society today are fearless because of a law that is raising them. The gospel has doused this fearlessness in us, but it is still present and can be triggered again. The beastly laws are a deliberate work to hinder man from sitting on the throne. Satan sold it as wisdom to man and we defend them when we manifest them.

The beasts that are around the throne were made by many laws. They may appear fierce but are really meek and harmless inwardly, and are not boasters. The Lamb has a very meek posture even around the throne (Rev 5:7). He is a helpless beast unlike the fierce one. Laws of meekness, gentleness and kindness are the beastly laws that configured Him, and must configure any man that will sit on the throne.

It takes the conversation of a servant who does not think highly of himself to take the book (Rev 5:7). God is causing us to see because we must have sight like the beasts which surround the throne, having many eyes. The laws of God are given by sighting which comes by preaching.

We must be seeing configurations and laws as we are being made to hear things about the throne. As the Lamb took the book, the beasts around the throne all fell down (Rev 5:8). These beasts are benders because the throne is for benders. Evil beasts stand fierce and are not benders because of the law that made them.

The beasts around the throne of God are meek, yet, they were not made to sit on the throne. A greater meekness must be expressed by anyone who will sit on the throne. We refuse to be benders when we stand tall and insist on our rights. Those who sit on the throne are men who do not insist on their rights. The will of the cherubims is aligned with the will of the throne; they do not live for anything asides the throne; this is what God is trying to configure us into.

The reason we always stand tall is that we are big men and we mean a lot in our own eyes. Thus, we are particular about what people say about us and defend our bigness. A man who is big in his sight will not be able to escape Satan.

We do so many things and struggle to avoid being despised. Beastly laws are responsible for making us try to defend ourselves when we are being despised. We need to be rid of them. Some men even go as far as lying to keep their big reputation before man, whereas, before spirits, they are low.

It is not easy for a man to be low. The One who is sitting on the throne is too low in appearance and we are called to come and sit on that same throne. Nobody wants to be despisable. We all want to be seen as something. The throne is meant for men who do not look like something but are something, because their power is in their littleness. We are going to use the light to kill our beasts of pride, arrogance, haughtiness of spirit and high mindedness. We have to be a beast to sit on that throne, this beast is not fierce but is a tearer of laws.

The mystery of the throne is being opened to us and we will be killed there. The Lamb was slain and everything called man must be slain in us also. Being made a beast is a place of security. When we are too big, we will not stay in the womb. The womb is the place for a child. Safety is in the womb and a grown man will be left outside where the dragon is.

Situations will present themselves and several beastly laws will show up to express themselves, but we must not give ourselves to it but use the understanding of this light to kill them. We must use the light to kill that law within us that wants to show people who we are. We must reckon instead that we are nobody because we are really nobody.

Without the grace of God, we are nothing but meat for Satan; and we must remind ourselves of this. When the devil comes to pump us, we must constantly deflate ourselves.

The Father is low and very despisable. He is not big in His eyes. May our hearts not despise Him when we see Him. We were trained to despise lowly men because men do not appreciate lowliness. God has a helpless state and that is the secret of His dominion. Dominion cannot be given to someone who is fierce. We are going to be trained with doctrines that remove our strength.

Training of laws of meekness and lowliness is painful because we are being deprived of our laws. A woman who cannot submit to her husband at home cannot sit on the throne. The beasts around the throne fall down in meekness. Those who will sit on the throne must have a greater meekness than the beast.

We must start learning the ways of meekness and lowliness from our early days, even though it is not fashionable in the world; however, it is fashionable in the kingdom. On the contrary, pride is not fashionable in the spirit. We must use light to kill our beasts because what is at stake is the throne.

Our upward journey must be the most important thing to us in this season. We must focus on going up in the face of all of Satan’s distractions. Anything that will stop us from seeing and obeying the laws of going up is a distraction. At every level we may be, we must go up in this season. The most paramount thing in our heart in this season is how to go up, it should be our preoccupation and focus.

We go up by seeing the laws of going up and obeying them. The devil will come and tempt us but we must go up. Anything that will shift our focus from journeying upward is a distraction. There is power and grace made available to go up in this season. We must not be distracted by legitimacies, rights or wrongs that want to stop us from going up. We must go up; we are not meant for the ground.

The laws that the Lord is bringing are laws of the heights, including laws of meekness, gentleness and lowliness; these are laws of the throne. Therefore, we must not let reputation put us down. When we have a reputation, we will not be lowly and will feel cheated. When the devil is trying to help us protect our rights, he intends to cheat and kill us.

We feel cheated when we have rights. When the devil wants to rob us, he will bring rights in order to make us feel like we are being cheated. When we fight for our rights we are being brought low. Those who go up do not have rights nor fight for their rights. It is a man that is not little that has rights to fight for.

Our Lord Jesus prevailed against the wrong beastly laws. He was configured by laws and light that the Father showed Him until He became little. The devil hates us, but God loves us and desires that we would not miss any entrance in this season. The devil will try to dangle things before us but God will bring light to make us see clearly. The devil does not know how to be little; we would always escape when we take the little posture .
